“Bespin” Goose replied. “Planet of nothing. Literally nothing. There’s some floating cities and some clouds and that’s it. There isn’t even any ground to stand on.”
Goose input their destination into the flight computer to calculate some hyperspace jumps. Rita came back with the numbers a few seconds later. Goose put them into the navigation computer and waited for everyone to board. “Good news is that we might get to test out the stealth systems for a change. Word is we’re shadowing someone.”

John walked up the ramp and closed it behind him. Once the ramp was sealed shut he leaned on the intercom button. “Goose, we’re on, ready for takeoff.” He said and then headed for the cockpit.

“Roger that boss.” Goose replied to the intercom and started boosting power to the repulsorlift array. The ship lifted up out of the snow and Goose flipped the switch to retract the landing gear. As they gained altitude Goose eased forward on the throttle, feeding power to the main engines and boosting their forward momentum.
In minutes they were past the outer atmosphere and a few minutes after that they were free of the planets gravity well. Goose reached up to flip the switch that polarized the view screen, darkening the transparisteel panes to the point that they were nearly completely black. He eased all the way up on the throttle and the ship lurched forward. The inertial compensators did their job and minimized the acceleration within the ship to negligible levels.
The stars outside lengthened into brilliant streams of light and twisted together into the familiar tunnel of hyperspace, barely visible through the darkly tinted viewport. “First jump begun. ETA 37 hours.” Goose said into his log.
John arrived in the cockpit and sat down in the command chair. “Rita, lets run a diagnostic through the stealth system and run some simulations. Might as well do the maintenance cycle on the system now as well.”
Rita’s holographic image appeared over the holographic com projector. “Diagnostic program running, testing all emitters and receivers. What simulation would you like to run?”
John shrugged. “Well we’re going to Bespin, might as well start with clouds. Cloud heavy environment, daytime conditions.”
Rita nodded and disappeared. “Simulation running. Estimate 5 minutes to completion.”
John leaned back in his chair his abdomen still ached from where he had been shot less than a day ago. Rounds of Force treatment and bacta injections had left him healed but with a visible scar and discolored skin. He still felt the tightness in the muscles in that area and it was obvious the wound wasn’t completely done healing. “This is going to be a hell of a trip.”

Genie lowered the soldering gun to the workbench and lifted up her tinted goggles. The repulsorlift unit was done, despite how ugly it looked. It was covered in spot wealds and protruding with loose wires that needed to be tightened but it worked and worked well.
Ever since Jor had given her the task of creating a research assistant for herself, she had decided to merely upgrade bubbles. She spent most of her time with the astromech droid in engineering of the Bristol Bay anyway. Her first upgrade was a small repulsor array to give the droid some better mobility.
Her workshop in the Temple motor pool was littered with little gizmos. She has a vocabulator to give the droid better speech capabilities and memory units to enhance its database. She let the goggles on her head fall to the workbench and took a few breaths before getting up. Jor had some of the other components she needed to continue work. They had left the container in his office days ago before all this business with the Cult began.
She got up and put her tools away for now. She’d have to head up there to go get the container of parts if she wanted to continue. She could use something to eat as well her stomach told her with a rumble.
She left the motor pool and headed towards Jor’s office.
