I have come to terms with the fact that I'm just not very good at writing, look at my last post, utterly horrible even though I put a lot of thought into it. There's not much I can really do about that. I only really stayed here because the site is cool anyway. But I spend too much time online and I want to make some space in my schedule for more exercise.

Roku, excuse me for perhaps sounding like an A-hole here, but that's just stupid. When i started RPing i was so horrible, and so suckish that it wasn't even comprehensible, short, short, short posts, detailing very little, and poorly written, shitty character profiles that contained maybe three paragraphs of information at best, and no direction for the characters i had, just a bunch of random things i could get them into. Albeit, this was maybe a good five years ago now, give or take, but in that time, don't you think i contemplated quitting? Of course i did, heck, at one point i told myself i was done for good. But, out of a mixture of boredom and the desire to further attempt my hand at writing, i kept coming back to sites like this one. Over time i improved, post quality, length, direction, interaction between characters, development, all that. But it took time to realize what i was doing, and how to achieve the ends i desired. Day by day i would get a little better, now dare i say i'm one of the best, excuse the ego. So in short what i'm trying to say here is that you shouldn't quit just becuase you've had a few bad posts, everyone has their fair share of inspirational blocks that put a damper on various works, profiles, posts, or short stories, whatever it may be. Give yourself a couple days, maybe a week, come back, try again with a fresh head and new muse, maybe you'll find its not so difficult to conjure a quality post.  |

See? At one point, we all sucked. (and to be honest, I always thought that cain and zilfer and the others were like uber talented at RPing and stuff, so seeing that link was kinda like i wasn't the only one who utterly sucked in the beginning.) So cheer up, we have our days when everything kinda wreaks in the world and our up days. I'm sure yours will come soon.

I never sucked, you can only hope to be as good as me on my worse day....nah I'm just jokin its a matter of everything else dude, practice makes perfect, and even then we all have those days where we just suck as writters, so you know no point in quittin you'll never get better if you do

Dude, you're doing fine, I have no complaints about the rps i've been in with you, few as they may be. There's no reason for you to quit and in fact your input here will be invaluable for newer members. You may be the chosen one to keep newbies around, and the timing of your experience could really help increase the population here oh BHOD. Stick with it, enough people cared about your status here and whether you were leaving or not to put in their two cents so that's gotta count for something right?
