"Shard, since Drake and Kamille are coming now, you can stay behind here. I don't want all the Jedi at the Corbenic Temple running off on the same mission." Jor said.
Shard bowed his head. "I understand master."
Jor closed up the electrical box and started sealing it. "Thanks for the help Wallflower." he said as he locked the last bolt in place. "Rita, can you run a full diagnostic."
"I will commence as soon as both of you are clear of the housing." Rita replied through the ships exterior speakers.
"Come on Wallflower, lets get out of here before she zaps us." Jor said, climbing out of the housing and back down to the deck below.

Agreed. And this wallflower does have a name you know.
Ken climbed down, once again using his legs for balance as he only had one arm again. Once on the ground, he flexed his knee, and heard a light pop from it. He landed hard on it when he was on Dantooine, and it was sore, but nothing too bad.

A lone Omega 13-class Starfighter broke through the cloud deck and began its descent towards the Odan Thos Airfield. Its pilot, the least likely of occupants - a Jawa seated behind the controls in a slightly modified pilots seat designed to give him a better view of his surroundings. Anything else simply wouldn't do, he'd just be staring at the dashboard full of instruments. Not the best way to fly.
As the fighter set down on the airfield, a plume of snow and ice rippled out from beneath the craft. Powering down the ship's systems, Teshik glanced out the cockpit towards the rolling snow drifts that awaited him.
"Why the cold? Always with the cold." He lamented to himself, "you'd think Jedi could all just stick to the temple on coruscant." Pushing his complaints aside, he made certain his fighter was shut down properly before bundling up and popping the hatch open for the first time.
As he did so, the frigid air rushed into the normally climate controlled cockpit and took his breath away momentarily. Instinctively wrapping the Force around himself to shield his body from the cold, Teshik grumbled under his breath as he climbed down out of the cockpit and began making his trek towards the temple. Inside the temple, he was pleasantly surprised to feel that it was actually warmer than what it had been outside. At least they had common sense. After taking a moment to admire the construction of the temple, he turned his attention on the reception desk and the receptionist seated behind it.
Approaching the desk, he remembered to keep his distance as he spoke so as to make himself visible. Any closer and he would just about vanish behind the desk.
"Good day to you," he said to the receptionist with a polite bow. "I come seeking Master Jor Halcyon. Could I inquire as to where I might be able to find him?"

Savard blinked at him from behind the counter. He certainly wasn't a receptionist, that's for sure. He had to stand on his tippy toes to glance down at the little initiate. "Master Halcyon you say..." He asked rhetorically. Scratching his chin, the tall hairy Kiffar emerged from the office, and went out to greet the Jawa Padawan. "Finally away from paperwork..." he groaned. "You do realize the man you listed is the Grand Master of the Templars...right? He is a very high ranking member of the order... very busy..." he assured. "But, if Templar business is your focus...I might be able to help..." he told him.

When the scruffy Kiffar leaned over to look down on him, Teshik had to crane his neck up just to look the man in the eye. Clearly he had mistaken a fellow Jedi for a receptionist. He'd chalk it up to the cold.... that loathsome cold. "Well, yes, I do know Master Halcyon is the Grand Master of the Templar. Why else would I be asking for him? Hmmmm?"
All the while Teshik was speaking, he couldn't get over the fact that he had to stare up so far to look at the Kiffar's face. He was used to looking up, but this.... he might as well be standing at the base of the Jedi Temple. Okay, that was an exaggeration perhaps, but still. He was all the way up there, and he was all the way down here. But, when he offered to help with Templar business, that certainly piqued Teshik's interest.
"As a matter of fact, Templar business is my.... business." He thought about the redundancy of that statement for a second before moving on, "if you could help that would be most appreciated, Mr......" He left the "Mr." intentionally vague as he had no idea what the Kiffar's name was, nor what his actual rank was. Though he assumed it must be fairly high if he were to be left in charge of the front door to the temple. On an ice cube.... that no one would come to while sober. On second thought, maybe he wasn't so high ranking after all. Teshik would reserve judgment though.

"Not Mister...Sir. Sir Viper. Savard Cornelius Viper." He said in an introductory voice. "I'm Master Jor's subordinate, his former padawan, and current Templar Knight. And I take care of Templar business in the event of his absence." he explained. He didn't want to sound like he was giving a lecture though, and went back to a more casual tone. "Most people identify themselves with rank and name at the front desk. What gives?" Savard grumbled, placing his hands on his hips and sort of pouting down at this person who forced him to contort his neck way too much just to see.

"Sir Viper.... Savard Cornelius Viper. Sounds regal," Teshik mused before formally introducing himself. "And I am Teshik, er, uh.... Jedi Knight Teshik, Sir viper." He said, bowing slightly. He wasn't sure why he bowed to a fellow knight, but the momentary lapse in judgement gave him something else to ponder, namely why his shoes had no laces. It was a trivial question to ask, and one that was quickly shuffled out of his thoughts as he looked back up to Savard.
"Well then, Sir Viper, if you tend to Templar matters, then I am formally putting in my application to become a Templar.... assuming you need applications. I'm guessing you don't. Then again, you do seem buried in paper work. Then again, those could just be the heating bills you're paying there. I can't tell." Teshik trailed off for a bit, his golden eyes only shifting slightly with each new thought, "I'm sorry, I'm rambling. I'll stop."

Savard couldn't help but grin. "Oh, it never ends...Not like it has to be done today anyway, nothing ever happens on this snowball...So...Sir Teshik then.." He said. "Well, you're already a Jedi Knight. I can't see any reason why Jor would disallow it. Welcome to the Templar Knights. I'll get you your armor and uniform shortly. But why don't you tell me about yourself? And...you don't need to be formal talking to me. Unless you'd prefer it that way."

Drake and Kamille both nodded as they backed up away from the ship. Drake turned to Kamille "Kamille go grab the rest of the gear" Drake said to him, the boy who simply nodded and ran off.
Turning back to the others Drake uncrossed his arms and walked over to them "So the ship doing okay?" Drake asked Jor as he looked up at the thing. He was wondering if the ship would be up for their little trip they were about to go on.

"I'm sure you do Wallflower. Thanks for the help." Jor said.
Jor turned his attention to Shard. "You got anything you need doing pal?"
Shard nodded his head. "Yes, since i am not going on this mission I have time to finish some maintenance issues with the Temple here." Shard answered.
Jor smiled at the large droid like life form. "Understood. Thanks for the help with the ship Shard. Sometimes its nice to get another perspective other than Rita's."
Genie laughed. "I hope Rita didn't hear that."
Jor sighed and shook his head. "She did."

"About myself?" He repeated rhetorically, "not much to tell, I'm afraid. It's a fairly dull story that I will bore you with if we are ever sent on a mission together. For now though, if you could direct me to Master Halcyon, it would be appreciated."
Teshik did not wish to come off as rude or inconsiderate, he just didn't like wasting time with chit chat when there was something that needed to be done. It came from his years on Tatooine during his time with his clan. Always on the move, resting was considered a waste of precious time that could be spent being more productive.

It was no problem at all, Master Halcyon.
Ken replaced the tool box back where he got it, making sure that everything was back to how it was before it was touched. He replaced the used tools back in their correct spot beforehand, so he was all good. He turned around to look at the Jedi. He had a relatively neutral look on his face, save the faint smile curling the edges of his lips.
Suzuka on the other hand, looked slightly sad, but made sure that no one was able to see her face. With her left hand, she moved a stray lock of hair out of her face, putting it behind her ear, then hefted up the bunk.
Well, im gonna get rid of this now.[/color]
With that, she hurried off and away from the group. She didn't know why she started feeling sad and maybe even slightly depressed. It could have been an unconscious feeling when Jor's daughter showed up. She felt pain in her chest as he thought of the two, and immediately missed her father.

"Well, it would help to get to know someone who I'll be seeing a lot. The Jedi is a small order as it it is, the Templar are a tiny faction within it. Um...How about I..." He was cut off as two children rounded another corner and entered the doors to the front office.
"Hey! I'm not in there right now..." he called to them. Aura and Sable hopped out over the counter, with Sable giving a particularly immature chuckle as her brother slipped and almost took Savard out. "Is this the new kid, Savard" Aura asked, pointing obnoxiously at Teshik. Savard looked like he wanted to hit the kid, as he glared down at him.
"Padawan Learner Aura! This is a respected member of the Jedi community, of the Knight rank...you will address him as Sir Teshik, have I made myself clear!? Savard growled. Sable stopped laughing immediately, and tried to slowly sneak away. Savard cleared his throat, and let out an elongated sigh.
"Sable...I see you too... what are you two doing here? What do you want? Is the temple on fire? No? Good...I'm busy with Templar stuff right now..."
He turned to Teshik. "My padawans..." he told him. "You wanna take one off my hands?" he said with a laugh.

Before Teshik could answer Savard any further, the appearance of two hyperactive Padawans interrupted him. The two burst into the office Savard had been in before one of them leaped over the front desk and slipped, nearly taking Savard's feet out from under him. Once the kid had steadied himself again, he pointed towards Teshik, asking if he was the "new kid".
Savard reprimanded Aura for his rude manners before clearing his throat and calling his sister out from her hiding place. The whole spectacle made Teshik guffaw a bit as Savard, jokingly, offered to let him take one of the Padawans off his hands.
"They certainly do seem to have quite a bit of energy about them. Reminds me of me when I was that young." Teshik thought back to his own years on Tatooine for a moment before returning to the moment.
"Still, if you need help handling them, I would not be opposed to helping where I could. Of course, I would need to have Master Halcyon's clearance to do so first. I would hate to impose myself on others."

"Well...alright. I do know where he is... Aura and Sable, can I trust you to look after the reception desk for me?"
"Sure!" Sable chimed happily. Aura just kind of grumbled. "I'd rather come with you guys..." He told them. "This is the Jedi temple...she'll be fine on her own for an hour, right?" Aura insisted. Savard just kinda sighed, and gestured for him to join them.
"Yes Aura, I'm sure she will... You do realize Master Jor is probably going to put you to work if you come though." he said, with a slight grin. Aura shrugged, and Savard's grin disappeared.
"Well, Teshik. Off to the airfield then...Sable...don't mess with the machines and paperwork..." he said, as the three of them headed off toward the airfield.
--
As they arrived, Savard called over to Jor.
"Templar ranks are growing, Master." he said, giving Teshik a small friendly push.
