The Temple Of.... Silence

[Zilfer]

As planned the Jiminy Cricket dropped out of hyperspace on the far side of the solar system outside of long range sensors. Jarlan looked out from the front of the ship past the cockpits plasti-glass and could see nothing but black. He preprogrammed in their ships approach to the planet and headed back into the ship stopping in the main hallway that connected all the rooms.

Jarlan: Alright just like we planned, we're coming in from the north pole of the planet and going along the planets surface low to hopefully escape any ground sensors they may have set up. We'll set down about a mile or two our so they can't spot our ship coming, and from there we'll have to hike through some of the roughest and coldest terrain we've seen. If we've avoided detection up until that point we try to grab anything that looks of value and then beat it back to the ship. We also have our friend's mission to consider, and Loren your assigned to helping them get that done. The rest of us will be looking to knock out their communication's array while we are down here.

Loren nodded in affirmation. They had already gone over this plan a few times on the way here so it wasn't a surprise to her. She had had a discussion with Jarlan and he had told her to leave her lightsaber behind, she was going to have to rely on her heavy blaster this time. As helpful as the tool a lightsaber was it was an attention grabber and Jarlan didn't want to be chased everywhere by the Imperial Remnant. 

Rylar: And if the plan doesn't go smoothly?

Jarlan: Then you'd better pray the Inquisitor isn't planet side. Our first order of business is knocking out that comm relay, then we'll start looking and deciding whether to engage or disengage. If anyone sees the Inquisitor you tell me immediately and if you don't have back up you run got it? I don't want anyone dying today.

There were nods of agreement and Jarlan headed back to the helm. They were just about to the planet coming at the opposite side of the planet to the Imperial ship and coming in at an angle. If they were lucky they wouldn't even be picked up. The ride went smoothly as he pulled up and started heading along the surface of the planet. He rode low along the planet's ridges kicking up snow in their wake. Once he could see the temple in the distance he set her down in a chasm. He scrapped the side of the ship trying to fit the Jiminy Cricket, causing some ice to fall down at the landing zone. He released the hatch and headed down to meet the team.

Loren was dressed up in winter gear that Jarlan had picked up on Coruscant for a decent price, she looked over to her companions, and then to the new comers. "I guess this is what they call a cold day in hell," said Loren trying her best to make light of the situation. The air was jarring and she wondered why of all places a Jedi temple would be set up in such harsh conditions. She was curious as to learn more about these mysterious warriors. They're hadn't been a real Jedi Order since half a century. Glitch grumbled something about the cold and Rylar laughed before slapping the Ithorian on his back. Jarlan came down the hatch to the ship and sealed the entrance to the ship. With everyone there they started the trek towards the temple...

Kat sat in a chair in a room on a ship that wasn't hers. Made her feel kind of weird, she wasn't used to being a passenger. In the other hand Shinn was doing sit ups the entire time, Kat was tired just watching him.

Kat: aren't you tired yet?

"No, not all of us can just magically be a good shape, some of us have to work at it" He grunted through his sit ups. Kat smirked placing her hand over her chest.

Kat: Well what can I say genetics just gave me a gift.

"Big boobs too, most girls would kill for those but" He was cut off as Kat stood up and kicked him.

Kat: Jackass I'm going to the bridge hurry up and join me.

She walked out Shinn stood up and put on his jacket following her. They both hit the bridge in time to hear Jarlan's plan about knocking out their communication. When he said something about their mission Kat pulled out her data pad.

Kat: According to this what we're looking for is under the main building. Hopefully your Imperials did all the digging for us and we can just steal it.

When the ship landed Kat pulled out her coat and put it on, once outside the shop she looked around Shinn came and stood next to herm she looked at him he was still earing just his jacket.

Kat: you aren't cold?

"There's something strange about this place" Shinn said pulling out his crystal from around his neck it was glowing slightly, "It's never done this before" He explained to Kat. She nodded in agreement never seeing his birth keep doing that before. Shinn stasted to the temple with the others Kat following behind him.

The group headed along, for about half a mile before Jarlan signaled for everyone to get down. The Rodian hit behind a rock formation and everyone followed suite as the sound of swoop bikes sounded nearby. They passed near by, and after a few moments Rylar peeked his head up and gave the all clear. Loren started to come out from her hiding spot when she heard a large snap, and then another. Something had made the ice unstable here, and the crack was running rapidly splitting the plateau they were currently on in half.

Star exhaust this was bad. She attempted the next few steps calling out. "Watch out the floor!" she shouted but at that point it was loud enough that everyone noticed, and hardly had time to react. The ice shifted under feet tilting suddenly inward, and Loren jumped trying to make it out of the effected area. She slammed hard onto her right side and then that piece cracked off sending her tumbling down further into the chasm. 

Jarlan on the other side had been quick on his feet reaching the other side having been on point. Rylar was soon behind him, but Glitch the slower Ithorian belowed out as he fell forward and grabbed ground that soon became a ledge.

Jarlan: Rylar help me get him up.

Rylar cursed and they both moved to get Glitch up to their onto land, before looking to see if the others had made it....

Loren found herself in darkness, and a throbbing pain coming from her forehead. Reaching up she felt warm blood, and wondered if she had lost consciousness. She rummaged through her pack, pulling out a luminescence stick and cracking it. She wondered if anyone else had fallen down here or if she was separated by herself. She held the stick high as the warm blue glow reflected off the ice around.

"Anyone else down here...?" she called out, not fully expecting an answer in return.  

[Damocles]

Shinn and Kat followed behind the others trying to be quiet not wanting to draw attention to themselves anymore than the landing ship probably did. When they were told to get down they did quickly.

Kat: whatever they are looking for they probably haven't found it yet

Shinn looked at her confused "How do you know?" He asked her Kat pulled out her data pad.

Kat: Because according to this we're right on to temple. After a thousand years it must have been buried under Snow and ice.

As soon as she said ice the ground cracked, Shinn was fast enough to get out of the way but Kat wasn't. He watched ass she fell through.

Kat: Shinn!

Shinn without thinking twice leapt in the hole behind the two girls. He reached out and grabbed Kats arm pulling her to him he looked around seeing Loren he reached out to her but was too far as sway. Suddenly he felt a pull as if something moved him closer to her, whatever the case he grabbed her hand too and moved below both girls to take the blunt of the fall. Kat stood up slowly coughing some.

Kat: you aren't alone down here Loren. Shinn you okay?

Shinn stood up his head bleeding fromantic hitting the ground. "I'm okay" He said her Kat went over to him and opened her pack pulling out bandages she started to wrap his head. "Thanks" He said to her

Kat: I should be thanking you. Any idea where to go, thay fall damaged my data pad.

Shinn pointed "we go straight then, we'll figure something out, always do" He told her walking ahead and moving in front of Loren.

[Zilfer]

Jarlan leaned over the hole carefully starting down into the dark depths. His antenna twitched irritably. He couldn't see sign of any of them down there.

Glitch: Think they're OK down there?

Rylar: What makes you think they're alive after a fall like that?

Jarlan: Shut your food port unless it's being used for something productive, Rylar.

The Rodian gave a glare in the direction of Rylar to see his return scowl but he said nothing more. Jarlan gave one last look down into the newly formed hole and then looked back to the rest of his crew.

Jarlan: We'll have to hope they are alive. We have to knock out that Comm's relay before we can worry about what happened to them. It won't do us any good if we have to get out of here in a hurry and haven't found them.

Glitch: Alright Captain, for now we leave them.

Rylar started walking first, and purposefully bumped into Jarlan's shoulder before passing. The dark green rodian for a moment considered placing a blast bolt right between the man's shoulder blades but he resisted. He needed the bastard's help.

Loren looked over to see Kat starting over to help Shinn with his head wound. Feeling her own carefully she found just a minor cut had bled nothing that needed treatment at the moment. She realized that Shinn must have taken most of the fall, and.... had he moved in the air? No that was probably just from the blow to her head.

"Thanks as well Shinn," said Loren as she stood up using the wall of ice to steady herself. She then headed behind Shinn holding her glowing stick high to illuminate their path. Hopefully no one was down here, or no thing. As they made their way on through she began to notice a gentle tugging, and that is where Shinn seemed to be leading them. Could he feel it too?

"Something's here... I feel like we're being lead somewhere," said Loren out loud not sure how to say what her gut was telling her. Yai'long had told her sometimes the force guided people to specific locations and that she should be weary at these times but not afraid to follow. The sound of dripping water was coming from up ahead of them which was odd because at these temperature's it should have been frozen already. Loren grabbed her blaster with her free hand just in case. 

They soon passed into an Antechamber that looked like it had originally lead into an even larger chamber beyond. A wall of solid ice stood in their way with gentle waves of water running down the surface. She looked up and saw the water was leaking down from above and had been doing so long enough to form the icewall. "Something must be melting the ice up above," said Loren as she moved to inspect the wall. "The ice is still thin, we might be able to cut through with vibroblades. Shooting through it might alert anyone that might be inside to our presence."

She turned her green eyes to shinn as if to ask which would you prefer?

[Damocles]

Shinn continued on down the long stretched his crystal was beginning to imitate him again. He turned to Loren when she thanked him "don't mention it" He said to her Adrian had told him to watch their back so he was doing just that. Kat walked over to Loren.

Kat: don't let his attitude bother you, he's just in Mission mode.

With that said Kat pulled out her blaster, she hadn't had to use it in a while but she kept her trying up just like Shinn. Speaking of

Kat: Shinn how did you catch both of us anyway?

Shinn turned around "Dunno" He said through chewing obviously a piece of candy. Kat sighed and face palmed she didn't even know he had candy with him on this mission. When they got to the wall Shinn stepped forward pulling out his blade. He spun it around and stabbed it into to wall cutting through it. He pulled the blade around making a circle before the large piece of ice fell over.

Kat: Whoa...

Kat stepped through the wall and looked around in amazement at all of the things around them weapons books data pads. "This must be it" Shinn turned to Kat "Did you?"

Kat: Memorize the cargo we are looking for? Of course I did, it's a large container with a old jedi simple on it. The House of Halcyon I believe.

"Spread out look for it, when we find it to we'll worry about getting it to up to the surface" Shinn said as he started to look around.

Kat: I'll check try other room

She went her own way.

[Zilfer]

Loren spread out and helped looking around. She poked around the dusty books looking at some of the covers, some of them where in languages she couldn't read. Others had interesting titles, such as Book of Practical Lightsaber Techniques which she took for herself. Others read Speculations on Tactics of the Sith, Teyan Apologia, and Tupalov's Threat Dossier. Loren ended up moving on and grabing a few items that were obviously valuable just for the material they were made out of and placed them in her bag. She looked to where Kat had gone and then to Shinn. 

"So are you together?" asked Loren as she pulled another object down off the shelf and into her bag. "Not that it's any of my business but she seems to look out for you a lot."

Something caught her eye just then, and she walked over to examine a shining object on the wall. It was a sword made out of a similar material. Underneath was a very odd sight. A plaque with a small metal finger that read -Jedi Forged Crystalline Blade, and Robotic Pinky. Both Items belonged to Zilfer, a powerful brooding man trying too hard to be mysterious. OH and wings! Something Something Kumori, something Mitsukai.-

She moved on thinking about taking the sword when she noticed a nearby pillar had a name carved into it. The next and the next. "Hey, these pillars are marked with names, maybe what your looking for will be near one marked Halcyon," said Loren taking a guess at where the object might be.

[Damocles]

Shinn was looking around at all the stuff, here old barely make out words on some of them. A jedi knight named Kamille funny the words talked about a him "That can't be right...Kamille but that's a girl's name." He whispered nefore shrugging he turned to Loren when she asked her question. "Together...? No, we're not. We're partners, and friends so we watch out for one another" He replied popping another piece of candy in his mouth.

Shinn walked over to the pillars and looked at them he reached up and touched one of them, he felt something in his mind asked yell, he squinted looking away "what was that?" He asked her looked hearing something rumbling looked like another chamber was opening. "Should check that out" He said to Loren going over to it.

Kat walked through the temple and entered a large room, looked like a combat training room or armory. She walked over to armor that looked Mandelorian.

Kat: thought this was a jedi temple

She walked over to a computer and pressed a few keys trying to get it to start nothing happened .

Kat: figures...

Voice: so, who was the dumbass smart enough to break into corbenic?

Kat looked around confussed.

Kat: who...who said that?

[Zilfer]

Jarlan signaled his crew on the other side of the clearing and they popped up grabbing the storm troopers and pulling them back over a snow bluff. He didn't even hear the struggle from his side, which was good all things considered. Snow dampened sound, and they had decided to work off that. He rose slowly and walked slowly over towards the temporary relay. He took a minute priming the explosive and attaching it to the machine. Then he slowly started to walk off. Foot steps forced him to stop behind a large part of storage containers.

Stormtrooper: Sir, there appears to be signs of life forms down there.

??: Check if the equipment is malfunctioning, if not make sure the teams going down are alert. We don't want the salvages or worse getting the jump on our men. I'm going to investigate that seismic event towards the north.

Stromtrooper: Absolutely sir.

The sound of movement and then a swoop bike powered up and drove away. Jarlan dared a look and saw an Inquisitor heading off in the direction he and his men had come. He lowered himself and started to snake away. At least he knew some of his crew had made it down below. Now he just had to come through on his part. He regrouped with his crew pulled out the detonator preparing to send the relay sky high.

Loren looked down the dark secret passageway wondering why the Jedi would have anything to hide? Maybe so the average person wouldn't stumble upon it. "Right, careful we don't know if its booby trapped," said Loren bringing her gun up to her side and moving carefully into the room. Somehow it felt colder in this room, and she could see her breath reflected blue off the glow stick.

"This used to be a Jedi temple? Think there are any of them left...?" asked Loren before she realized it might sound like she was scared of running into a living person down here and amended the statement. "I mean in the galaxy, no ones really seen them in over 50 years, except I guess if you consider Luke Skywalker."

She wondered what he would be like. Rumors where he had disappeared recently too, though no one would say that that meant. She spotted something ahead, a dark cube. "I think we've found what your looking for," said Loren moving towards the object. She picked it up looking at it curiously before handing it out to Shinn. An explosion sounded in the distance, and she looked up almost as if she would be able to see what had caused it. "That would probably be the other team, guess it means if we run into Stormies we don't have to worry about stealth any longer..."

[Damocles]

Shinn started to walk towards the room that had opened up, he was cautious to say the least his hand on his sword handle the entire time. Just in case. "Any Jedi in here, I don't think so..." he said to her "Jedi left in the galaxy? Maybe, I once ran into an Inquisitor who collected Kybar crystals. Only way to get those is by killing jedi, and he certainly believed there were more left in the galaxy" he told her, he had heard about Luke Skywalker, hell Adrian told him that several Roughnecks from the war had actually had missions with the guy, wasn't sure if he was just exaggerating or if they were true. He walked in the room and looked around.

His eyes caught something he walked over to it and picked it up, it was a hilt of some kind, was it a lightsaber, it did have a button, he pressed it but nothing happened. "Broken?" he asked before shrugging he put it in his jacket. He turned to Loren when she said that she found something, he walked over to her and took what she handed him, it had the symbol that was for sure. He shook it a few times, nothing happened. "Also broken?" he asked before putting it in his coat as well, he though that package they were getting would be, well something bigger, "Not sure if that was it, but we'll find out" he told her. "Now to find Kat?" When the ground shook he pulled out his communicator "Kat, we think we've found the item in question, we'll come to your position" he said to her going out of the room.

Kat looked around trying to figure out where the voice came from.

Kat: Anyone there?

Voice: Yeah, I am, turn around...

She turned around seeing a young man with black hair standing there, he had his arms crossed.

Kat: Where'd you come from?

Young Man: Could ask you the same thing, who are you? Why have you broken into Corbenic.

Kat: I'm umm my name is Katrina Asuka, who are you...

Kat walked over to the young but walked through him, she turned around confused at first until she noticed that it was an image emanating from the console she had messed around with.

Kat: A projection...

Young Man: A.I. I'm an A.I based on Jedi Master Kamille Hellion, so why are you here again Katrina?

Kat stared on as if she didn't know how to answer.

[Zilfer]

Blaster fire erupted above, and a bolt hit Jarlan square in the shoulder as he crested the top of a hill. He fell and crawled over to a rock as his companions flanked to the sides returning fire. He pulled forth a grenade and lobbed it the other direction not even caring to look where it landed. After the explosion he pulled his good hand up to his ear piece.

Jarlan: I'm hit, but I should be able to make it back to the ship and prime it. Glitch you come with me, and we'll get the ship ready for a quick take off. Rylar get down there, and watch out for that inquisitor. He's here planet side. Hopefully Loren has grabbed at least something valuable down there.

Rylar: Just leave it to me, if she is alive I'll get her sweet green ass out of there. 

Glitch: We're going to have a problem.

Jarlan: What's that?

Glitch: There is a---

The wind suddenly began to howl as a blizzard rushed accross the engagement, blaster fire lighting up the snow back and forth. It was obscuring more and more by the second making it's way to a total white out.

Jarlan: Take out the far side with your grenade launcher Glitch and then we move. We don't have time to weather this blizzard.

There was no response back on the commlink but an explosion muffled by the wind blew and Jarlan forced himself to his feet. He had managed to slap a Bacta patch on his shoulder to hold him over but he knew he'd need a more permanent treatment back on the ship. Don't you go dying on me Rylar.

"Ran into an Inquisitor and lived? Huh, I guess we have more in common than I thought," said Loren with vehemence in her voice. She had a history with a particular inquisitor and the topic was still a sore spot with her. She noticed Shinn pick up a lightsaber and store it but she decided against commenting what it was. She had two just like it back on the ship. As they proceeded back into the hallway towards Kat they were interrupted by a modulated voice.

Snowtrooper: It's the intruders! Blast 'em!

Snowtrooper2: Looks like we're the ones going to get that pay raise.

Loren slide along the icy floor behind a large urn to use as cover. Blaster fire pelted large fragments of it away as she looked accross at Shinn. She pulled her Czerka heavy blaster up indicating she was about to return fire and popped up both hands outstretched and managed to drop one with a shot straight to the helmet before ducking to a hail of blaster fire. "Did Kat respond on the comm yet? If not she'd better hear the blaster fire!" 

Loren took out a small round object flat on two sides and primed it. A stun grenade that stuck to walls if tossed right. She was running out of Urn to hide behind. She threw it and as it sailed straight at a trooper he ducked making it stick to the wall next to him. A sudden burst concussive blast knocking them off balance and Loren rushed forward, palm striking one of the snowtroopers to the side of his head. As he fell she grabbed his blaster rifle and swung it hard at the other equally surprised snowtrooper knocking him out cold. Blaster fire down the hallway erupted from another five more troopers and she snaked into an alcove with much better cover this time. She was exhilarated as the situation was becoming dire, and she knew if she gave into this feeling she would end up killing them all without hesitation.... "Shinn, I think its time we start looking for an exit!"

[Damocles]

Shinn looked up when she mentioned that she ran into an Inquisitor too "Well the one I ran into has a particular grudge. I stole something from him" Shinn replied to her he started to follow her back into the hallway until the guards showed up. Shinn ducked behind cover as well "Kat, we are under fire" Shinn said to her through his communicator "This will be done in about five minutes" He finished saying to her as he hand went to the hilt of his vibroblade. When Loren threw the grenade and took off down the hall Shinn followed behind her but instead of ducking into the other room he continued towards the other five snowtroopers.

Snowtrooper: Keep firing!

They continued to fire Shinn pulled out his viborblade knocking some of the bolts away the troopers screamed about the man's inhuman speed as he got up to them. "Die" Shinn said swinging his sword it went through the first trooper he grabbed the guy and used him as a human shield as the other troopers opened fire Shinn threw the dead body into the group of troopers and lept at them cutting another one's arm off, he turned around and cut off another one of their legs, the troopers continued to scream and yell as Shinn cut his way through them until they were all dismembered and dead on the ground. Shinn smirked and put his blade away going back into the room with Loren "Its over, you find a way out?" he asked her.

Kat: We're actually looking for something a case. I think

Kamille: Ah I think I know what you want, master said people may come looking for it and I was to look after it...umm anyway all the systems to this place is offline, I'll need to go with you to activate the vault.

Kat: Right, how am I supposed to wait

She pulled out her comm link listening to Shinn.

Kat: Right, I found some back up that can help us, meet you

Suddenly the door opened and two stormtroopers walked in.

Stormtrooper: You there what are you doing!?!

Kat smirked evilly.

Kat: Oh nothing...really just sight seeing

She turned around pulling up her blaster and firing several times killing the stormtroopers, she turned back to Kamille.

Kat: How do I get you out of here.

Kamille: Console behind you, data chip hurry up now your friends are waiting.

Kat: Right...right bossy AI

She pulled out the data chip and put it in her pad. Kamille's image appeared on it.

Kamille: Alright lets go.

[Zilfer]

Loren came out of the alcove nodding to Shinn. She spared a brief glance for the bodies or rather parts he had left behind. He had been extremely effective and she could now see why Jarlan wanted them along. If they had come here alone she might have been separated by herself down here. "Let's move before they get word of the lost patrol, our battle here wasn't exactly silent," said Loren as almost on queue blaster fire erupted towards the direction of Kat. "Sounds like we're getting company early." Loren rushed down the hallway quickly followed by Shinn.

Jarlan and Glitch opened the hatch and closed the door to the blowing snow storm behind them. If it had taken them any longer he felt like he would have frozen to death out there.

Jarlan: Glitch get the engines running, and--

??: That won't be necessary. 

The rodian stopped and looked the direction of the unexpected voice. A dark armored figure stood before them calmly observing them. He turned to face the pale looking man confidently.

??: I thought I smelled cockroaches.

Jarlan: We have no evolutionary connection, sorry but I think you missed a few lessons back in the academy. What are you doing on MY ship?

Despite the face he was putting on his hand was hovering over his blaster. He knew Glitch would be thinking something similar. 

??: Aliens, never knowing their place and it seems you are no different. I was going to ask you similar questions, but I think I'll just force them out of you.

Glitch moved first drawing an ACP Array and blasting. Jarlan drew his own blaster but the Inquisitor's hand was already up stopping the shot and blasting it backwards straight into Glitch. His shots fired off red down the narrow hallway, and the hiss of a lightsaber sprung to life deflecting it his shots at the last possible moment. Glitch grumbled standing up from the closed hatch wall and began to stalk back.

Jarlan: Glitch, get out of here you know the contingency.

Jarlan continued to fire down the hallway as he heard the grumble and then the blast of snow as the hatch opened once more. 

??: The noble sacrifice? Please, you don't have a choice in this....

With no more than a wave of his hand Jarlan felt what might have been a cannon ball hit his chest and send him flying backwards into Glitch and carrying them outside. They hit the ice hard outside. Jarlan cursed as he felt the wound from earlier start to bleed once more. The inquisitor stalked over to him the red of the blade of his lightsaber, a sharp contrast to the blue and white around them. Jarlan attempted to crawl backwards but he came up against a rock.

??: You have once chance. What are you here for? Where are the others, I sense that they are strong in the force, and will take them back to be properly trained.

Jarlan: We're here for the loot in the Jedi temple, figured we could make quick credits.

It wasn't a lie, and though the inquisitor didn't seem moved by the answer. A figure moved behind the Inquisitor and Jarlan reached out but before he could get a word out Glitch was sliced in half.

??: Now then.... where were we? Ah yes, the others... where are they?

Rylar smashed two storm troopers heads together tossing them down a flight of stairs and walked further into the temple. He had heard blaster fire come from deeper in that was for sure. He walked towards the faint green glow in the distance as he used the head helmet of a stormtrooper as a flashlight. He crept up the the edge of the room, and saw Loren and the two others just starting to meet up.

Rylar: Shinn you devil, getting the girls off on your own.... Anyways, it seems like you've been taking your time down here and getting acquainted with the old musty artifacts then huh? 

Rylar then smiled a moment before crossing his arms and leaning against the wall. His tone became more serious.

Rylar: Did you get anything of value down here? There's been trouble up top but it wasn't anything we couldn't handle. The communication array is down for the moment so we should have a little time before any sort of reinforcements show up, and I know the way back to the surface.

"Sounds good, I grabbed a bunch of the valuables and placed them in my bag," said Loren motioning to the bag on her back.

Rylar: And did you find any crystals like you were hoping to find?

Loren scowled at this shaking her head. "No but that doesn't matter now. We should get moving I'm having a bad feeling abou--" started Loren before a rumbling she hadn't noticed grew suddenly louder and a large wormlike creature came burrowing out of the walls. The Razhak lashed out at Loren who just barely dodged from being swallowed whole. Rylar frowned standing up straight.

Rylar: What have I told you about saying that!

"Shut up and help me," said Loren putting a few heavy blaster bolts into it's side.

Rylar: Yeah, yeah.... Shinn cutting this thing to pieces isn't going to work. It's got multiple hearts, if it's anything like worms I've fought before. We just need to give it enough hell that it will want to retreat.

A blade appeared in Rylar's hand in a flash as he charged knowing Loren would cover him at least until he reached the beast.

Shinn followed Loren down the hall she was right he had been loud during that fight, they needed to find Kat and escape. When they turned the next corner Shinn bumped into her knocking Kat down.

Kat: Ouch...

"Sorry" He said helping her up she dusted herself some "Find anything? He asked her she pulled out her data pad.

Kat: yes and no, didn't find the case but I found something that will help us get it.

Shinn smiled at her nodding before taking out the cube Loren had given him and handing it to Kat "Not sure what it is, but it doesn't turn on" He explained to her when they heard rylar they both went for their weapons putting them away when they realized who it was.

Kat: geez you almost gave me a heart attack.

When Rylar said Shinn was lucky for getting to hang with the girls Shinn turned to him chewing a piece of candy "what now?" He asked, Kat sighed at his obvious obliviousness. When everything started shaking Shinn pulled out one of his swords looking at the Giant worm he thought twice opting to pull out his blaster. He started to fire on it hoping to make it fall back.

Kat: No good we need to seal it.

Kamille: Hook me up to the console over there on can do that

Shinn turned around hearing the voice "Who's that?" He asked her.

Kat: I'll explain later just hold that stupid worm off for a few seconds.

Shinn shrugged popping another piece of candy and running towards the worm he left up slashing into the ice above himself then falling back as prices of it slammed into the ground. The worm growled and started going around the other way.

Kat: We don't have much time.

Kamille: I know calm down, tell your friends to come this way you can loose the worm using the turbo lift to the vault.

Kat; Guys over here quick!

Shinn nodded for Loren and Rylar to make their way over to Kat. He would back them up as he retreated.

As soon as they got the door open on the far end the made dash to the door was close. Loren dared a few heavy blaster shots back and then slide through the door almost sliding into everyone that had made it through the door in the first place. Rylar offered a hand out to Loren lifting her up to her feet.

Rylar: I guess we find another way out. Wookiee's krem, this planet is should be lifeless.

Loren looked towards Kat who seemed to have something interesting on that datapad. The Turbolift was already in motion taking them further down into the place. "Does whoever that is know what's down here? Maybe knows of an emergency exit to the vault?" asked Loren. For a moment she thought she heard something calling out to her but she shook her head. It must be the stress getting to her.

Rylar: And if this place had any drinks that would be awesome too, maybe it can provide us that too?

Loren elbowed Rylar who took the point he wasn't being useful. The doors soon reached the floor and began to slowly open...
