Pit Stop

"Glad you two are all right," said Loren looking at the others coming into the room. She stood up when it appeared the battle was over, though Jarlan's voice came to her in the back of her head that they should finish killing them. It was better to leave no one behind to challenge you. She frowned at this, as it conflicted with her idea that she was not the blood thirty one. She had believed Shinn would just execute these men matter of factually, for he hadn't seemed to care too much with the wookiee incident. 

As they started to walk away she decided to bring it up. "You know they'll probably just try again but this time they'll hit you when you least expect it with no warning. They gave you the courtesy to know they were going to attack you this time... you should have ended the threat permanently," said Loren as she walked up to the speeders. She hoped on top of one of them, took a look over the control scheme and grinned. These types of speeders were illegal in one hundred systems because of it's max speed, but here on Tattooine it must not be because of the wide open spaces.

"Well I'll give them that at least they know their speeders," said Loren smugly. "Do you know how to drive one of these Alura? If not you can ride with me."

Kat looked at Loren when she said they should have killed them, she lowered her head some.

Kat: That's why he stayed behind, Shinn doesn't like to kill in front of me unnecessarily...

She had known Shinn just wasn't covering their exit but making sure their tracks was covered too. Kat climbed on her speeder and looked over at Alura. Alura turned to Loren "Shinn taught me how when I read his mind...umm shouldn't be that much of an issue" she climbed on one and started it the bike suddenly sped off from under Alura and slammed into a wall exploding.

"On second thought, seeing how to ride one and actually experiencing it is two different things" she said going over ton Loren's bike and climbing on.

Shinn walked out covered in blood he looked at the girls then climbed on one of the bikes "they won't bother us anymore" He said in a dry tone putting another piece of candy in his mouth.

Kat: You okay Shinn?

"Yeah, I'm fine we need to find a way off this planet, descret. Loren you should get back to your ship or tell Jarlan not to hang around too long the remnant are probably on their way"

Kat: Let's get to Mos Eisley, we can grab a drink and find a ship

Loren cringed as the bike was crashed. She probably had no idea how much credits she had just destroyed with that mishap. Well at least she appeared to be OK. Alura got on behind her, around the time that Shinn caught up with them, and she nodded to him affirming they were ready to go. When Shinn suggested getting out of here she knew he was right, the men at this base could have informed them of their docking which might give the Remnant an idea of where they were in the space lanes.

"Alright did you want to meet up on a particular planet somewhere then or is this goodbye?" asked Loren before looking back at Alura. "And what about her? I feel like she might know some things about our... abilities."

For some reason she still could not come to stay powers in public. She had been hiding her force sensitivity for years, and discussing it like this was still new. "I'm sure Jarlan and Rylar probably have the ship ready for our next jump if you had a destination in mind."

[Damocles]

Shinn sat on his speeder, he wasn't sure what the next move would be, but they would have to contact Adrian to make sure he knew what was going on. It would be best if they headed to Coruscant but he wasn't sure if that would work or not the Remnant would probably be waiting for them to do that. "I don't know" Shinn said he looked over at Alura who was on the back of Loren's bike "Where should we go?" He asked her, he figured she would know being the force sensitive type and what not, but that may have been a long shot. "I'm not sure" Alura said to them "I never, well I never did much actual training with the force. I am not even sure exactly how I learned everything I did" She replied to Shinn looking down "I'm sorry I can't be of more help"

"Its fine" Shinn said to her, Kat laughed Shinn looked at her "What is it" She pulled out her data pad.

Kat: Hello we have a Jedi encyclopedia right here! Kamille wake up!

Kamille: What...what? I was dreaming about, well that doesn't matter. What's up?

Kat: We need a planet that you Jedi used to use to...help people with the force.

"And one the remnant is less likely to follow us" Shinn tacked on. Alura looked at Loren "I'm not sure how much help I will be in teaching you how to use the force, if those are the abilities you're talking about, but I can try" she said to her.

Kamille: Dagobah

Kat: That all the way in the middle of nowhere planet.

Kamille: Umm yeah, I think its a good place to start, it may even help Alura retrieve some of those lost memories.

Kat: Shinn?

Shinn nodded "Right, we'll head back to your ship Loren, if your guys don't want to take us then we'll go find a transport" he said to them starting his bike. "We should get going" he said to the girls.

[Zilfer]

"Sounds like a plan, though I've never heard of Dagobah," said Loren not sure what to think of Shinn's comment about the system. She started up the engine of the bike and then raced off, giving it an exciting amount of speed. She zipped quickly around a corner and headed off into the sands to the ship. It wasn't long with the bike's making the trip disappointingly short. Rylar came down the hatch with his arm's crossed as the other's returned.

Rylar: Back so soon? Didn't like the locals very much?

"Shut up Rylar, how many of these do you think we could fit?" asked Loren getting off the speeder. Rylar came over to help Alura off the bike as he got a better look at them.

Rylar: Probably two, I doubt we have room for the third.

Loren frowned but nodded. She had come to about the same conclusion. It would be just a waste to leave them here where they could be recovered by the Roughnecks or the Sand People up the ridge. "Alright get these up into the ship, and I'm going to go talk with Jarlan." 

Rylar looked like he was about to protest but Loren left them in her wake. Annoyed her turned to Shinn pointing at him.

Rylar: You, grab the other one. I'm not doing this by myself.

Loren came into the ship's main quarters to find Jarlan surprisingly working on the container Alura had come out of. "What are you doing...?" she asked walking up to him.

Jarlan: Huh? Oh, I figured this might come in handy.

"A machine that wipes people's memories?" asked Loren skeptically, looking at the green Rodian. Her Captain blinked at her twice which meant he thought the answer was obvious. She had learned to read more of Rodian body language since their facial features were abysmal to attempt to read.

Jarlan: Well properly fixed it can store memories, or restore them. Haven't gotten it working quiet yet, but I think I know how it works.

"You never told me you knew anything about technology," said Loren actually surprised at Jarlan's resourcefulness. "Anyways, Shinn and Katrina think heading to Dagobah would be a good idea for learning more about the Jedi."

Jarlan suddenly stopped working and looked at her once more. Is Antenna moved erratically indicating he was irritated. 

Jarlan: That sort of thing got him killed lass. It's what put us in this mess to begin with, and now you want to go chasing it?

"Look, we were ambushed at the Roughneck's base I thin-" started Loren but she was interrupted yet again.

Jarlan: They did what?!? I'm going to kill Adrian.

"No Jarlan, listen. These roughnecks aren't part of Adrian's gang, they were trying to collect a bounty on Shinn, Katrina, Alura, and 'some green chick,'" she said letting that sink in. Jarlan seemed to calm down for a moment and then set his hydrospanner down.

Jarlan: I see... I'll set a course right away.

"Thanks," said Loren hugging the stubborn Rodian before heading to go tell Shinn, and Kat the good news. Jarlan looked distant during the exchange and he went towards the cockpit seemly with a lot on his mind.

Shinn sat outside looking at the desert around them, Alura went over to him and sat down next to him, she looked out at the desert before turning to Shinn, she reached over to him but hesitated when he looked at her. "What is it?" He asked her she smiled and grabbed at his chest pulling his crystal away, she looked at it for a moment "Why don't you use this?" She asked him, Shinn stared at it "What do you mean?" He questioned.

Alura reached into Shinn's jacket pulling out the lightsaber hilt he had found on Ilum "This, this is the weapon of the Jedi, aren't you one?" She asked "I'm no Jedi, I'm a mercenary" he replied to her about this, she laughed some and swung the hilt around despite it not being activated "No, I'm sure of it, you are a Jedi" she joked with him before sitting back down next to him and giving him his crystal back, she leaned her head against his shoulder.

Kat walked over to the two of them and sat next to Shinn on the opposite side she leaned her head against his other shoulder "What are you two doing?" He asked them with a dry tone to his voice. Kat laughed some about this.

Kat: I think he is uncomfortable, so, what do you think we'll find on Dagobah?

"No telling" Shinn said to her. "It'll help us better understand the force" Alura said looking down some "If they want to take us there" Shinn told her "They will, I can sense it they are good people, and Loren really wants to know more about the force" Alura said.

"There's your Jedi" Shinn said to her Alura about Loren "No, I think you're a perfectly good Jedi in your own right" she said to him.

Kat: If nothing else, he is a good protector, anyway

Kat stood up she started to mess with her datapad

Kat: I have to figure out how we can make some type of communication with Adrian, if that bounty is out on the halo net he's probably worried sick about us.

"Yeah" Shinn replied to her.

[Zilfer]

Rylar cursed pushing up the second bike and faltering on the ramp. Loren happened to be coming out and got on the other side of the speeder bike to help him push it up all the way. She looked over at him confused for a second. "Why didn't you ask for help from Shinn?" asked Loren grunting as they heaved it the last bit of the way into the ship.

Rylar: Because lover boy over there is hogging all the women other there. 

"And you decided.... not to butt in?" asked Loren knowing Rylar usually would try and impose himself into such situations.

Rylar: Hey, have you ever tried being the attention of two women at the same time? No, well I can tell you it's not the most pleasant experience. 

"So you're not ignoring them out of the kindness of your heart," said Loren shaking her head, and starting to walk away. Rylar grunted.

Rylar: Well I can say I haven't had the attention of three women.

"Oh shut you're Hyperdrive, Rylar before it calculates you into forgotten space," said Loren walking down the ramp. Rylar watched her leave shaking his head. 

Rylar: A bundle of emotions that one.

"So Jarlan said it would be fine, it would be good to lay low for awhile I think too since our recent run ins. Probably loose their tracks if this place is really devoid as you seem to think it is," said Loren looking curiously at the two girls on either side of Shinn. She raised an eyebrow but said nothing on the subject. "So if you've everything you need perhaps we can get moving."

Loren looked over to Alura as if remembering something. "Oh, and I don't suppose you'd mind sparing a bit Alura? I haven't had anyone to practice with since...." said Loren trailing off, but she quickly regained her composure. "In a long time."

[Damocles]

Shinn looked at Loren when she came up to them, when she looked at the girls on his side Kat laughed some, she stood up to be eye to eye with Loren.

Kat: We were teasing him, if you were wondering.

Alura smirked some "He did seem uncomfortable between the two of us, hmmm I wonder if he liked the idea of both of us hanging off of him." she joked looking at Shinn who didn't so much as blush he did stand up though "I don't know what you mean" he said to her walking to the ship "I'm gonna see if they need anything else to be done before we leave" he said going up the ramp of the ship.

"Oblivious isn't he?" Alura asked Kat sighed heavily.

Kat: You have no idea, anyway according to Kamille the planet isn't really inhabitant or well civilized, it will make it easier for us to hide out, thats for sure.

"Good, hopefully I can figure out why I was in that box" Alura said turning to Loren, "Sure I can spare with you...I would like to see any new techniques Jedi have created since I went into the box" she said laughing.

Shinn walked on the ship, he looked at Rylar and went to help with the speeder "Women" he said without adding much else to it.

Rylar looked at Shinn and shook his yeah.

Rylar: You couldn't have said it better, my friend.


It wasn't long before everyone filed up onto the ship and they took off towards the system of dagobah.
