"My good people, I missed my introduction!" *Crowd roars* "Please, I pray you. Hear it now. For i would lay rest the grace in my tongue. To speak plainly. Days like these, are far to rare to cheapen with heavy handed words, and so, I'm afraid without any ado whatsoever.... Here he is! One of your own! born a stone's throw from this very stadium and here before you now... the son of john thatcher. Sir wiiiiiiiiiiiiiilliam THATCHEEEERR!!!!!" I provided a rather long one because i'm not sure if anyone's see it or will remember it just from the first line.

(can't remember his first name) Geoffrey Chaucer. Father of the english language. He's the auther that originally wrote a story much like A Knight Tale that the movie was based on, minus all the Queen and David Bowie of course.

Since no one's posted i'll put another one. "Not for me.... Not for me...." (in case that's too obscure I'll put up another one ) "They say most of your brain shuts down during cryo-sleep. All but the primitive side, the animal side. No wonder I'm still awake."

damit, z. weren't we just talkin about that lastnight, that would be, pitch black, spoken by ridick. at least the first one was. second one might be from the cronicals of ridick. *sp*
The Forty-Seven Ronin. Do you know it? Forty-seven samurai, whose master was betrayed and killed by another lord. They became ronin - masterless samurai - disgraced by another man's treachery. For three years they plotted, pretending to be thieves, mercenaries, even madmen - that I didn't have time to do - and then one night they struck, slipping into the castle of their lord's betrayer and killing him.
Nice. I like that. My kind of job.
There's something more. All forty-seven of them committed seppuku - ritual suicide - in the courtyard of the castle.
Well, that I don't like so much.
