The four clones simultaneously held up their left hands to reveal they all had ration bars. The tan rectangles of "food" had everything their body needed for half a days’ work. Nutritionally speaking it was the perfect breakfast. They tasted like sand stone though, but the clones didn't mind. It's the only thing they've ever eaten.
"No boss, I’m telling you a public starport isn't the way to go." Tank was saying. "To many variables, to many people. If we're going to steal a ship it should be quick and quiet."
"So what do you suggest?" Danny asked, leaning over Tank's shoulder to look at the terminal.
Tanks fingers typed furiously at his keyboard and then he turned the monitor up so Danny could see it better. "Sales. There's a sales yard a few klicks north of here that will have orbital transport for sale. No commuters, no passengers, just a few salesmen, no heavy security and maybe a customer or two."
Danny had to admit that Tank was right. Stealing a ship from a sales lot made a lot more sense than trying to hijack one at a starport. "Ok well go with that. First things first. Tank, download the layout of that sales yard and send it to my datapad, then go to their holonet site and peruse through what they have for sale out on that yard."
Tank gave him a thumbs up and Danny moved away from him and over to Runt. "Runt, get on your equipment and do a quick scan for information about last night, then start looking up information about the area around that sales yard."
Runt gave a thumbs up himself and grabbed his gear, putting his headset on and cracking his fingers. Danny looked to Hefty next. "Hefty, pack up our stuff and get us ready to roll out. Your driving."
with yet another thumbs up, Danny was satisfied. Everyone had their jobs and they had a plan. He walked over to Ambellina and sat down at the table in the kitchen, laying his dapapad down on the table before gently sniffing the air. "Is that... are you wearing perfume?"

Ambellina shot Senior a coy smile, but did not speak as she went about preparing a bowl of cereal. She ate quickly but neatly as she assessed the plan. Finding it sound, she placed her dish in the washer and leaned against the counter once again.
"I know that shipyard...the owner has a few battle-droids to defend his ships from the locals...highly illegal, and highly effective."

"What kind of droids?" Tank asked from his workstation, not bothering to remove his eyes from the screen to ask the question.
Danny got the layout from Tank and started reviewing it. He started marking choke points and area's where an owner of a ship sales yard would put his highly illegal battle droid guards.
Hefty was busy at the door putting everyone's unused gear together to carry down. "We do have some EMPGs and I have plenty of charges left. We can go in guns blazing and bombs blasting and take off before they can recover."
Runt slammed a power cell home into his BT- Model 98 and then picked his rifle up to start cleaning it. "I say Hefty uses some of his toys to make us our own door. We'll bypass most of the security and take off before they can respond."
Hefty snorted. "Boring" he said more to himself quietly.

"Standard Mark IVs, stripped down for sale and then built back up to standard. Sans the expensive energy shielding of course. EM granades should work nicely, but there are more subtle approaches."
Ambellina took a seat in the common room beside Runt, her thigh brushing against his. She gave him a sickeningly sweet smile, producing her personal data-pad for his examination. The screen displayed the schematics for both the actual structure of the shipyard and the platform that it was built on. Ambellina had long since stolen the building records for no fewer than thirty Quadrants over Coruscant.
"I'll save you the trouble..."
With a smug look she sent the data to his equipment via direct beam transfer.

Tank called up all the information he could find on the Mark IV Assault droid. "Individually programmed but he might have them on a network. I'll see what I can do."
Runt glanced over the full sechematic Ambellina gave him. When she transfered it to his datapad he sent it to all their datapads.
Tank took the layout he downloaded and overlayed it over the schematics from Ambellina. Danny input the points he had marked for possible guards and choke points. Hefty started inputting possible blast areas and walls he could redesign with shaped charges.
"Don't see much point to me setting up for long range executions so i'll take point on this one." Runt offered. "Is there anyway we can get information about what ships are in the yard and where?"
Tank held up a finger. "Hang on... there. I got it. Grabbed a Satelite pic off of MapQuest and underlaying it over our map here. Picture is time stamped for a week ago."
Runt looked at the new imagry that had been placed under their detailed map. "Hefty makes us a door here." Runt said pointing to a perimeter wall. "We enter, head south and steal whatever ship is in this parking space here." He said pointing to a ship on the yard.
Danny looked over the plan. It was fairly simple. The most complicated part would be to approach and blow the outer wall without being seen. "Can you do that Hefty?"
The demolitions expert nodded an affirmative silently. Danny focused on the schematics and pointed to the security doors they would come across. "Tank?"
"Piece of cake. Wouldn't be much of a slicer if I couldn't open a civilian security door." Tank said in response to the unanswered question.
"Runt can you jam coms once we're in the ship." Danny asked.
Runt gave a thumbs up and tapped his com gear. "For at least half a mile. That will mess with any response action leveled against us."
"Ok then, i'd say thats the bare bones of a plan. lets stream line it." Danny said. He leaned back in his chair and smiled.

"C'est très militaire chic, no? I like it. Need I do anything but follow?"
Ambellina deferred to Senior. After all, this was their operation, and she was just along for the ride. Having seen them in impromptu action only once, she had no idea how they generally operated. However, it was her growing conception that their team was functionally complete and competent without her talents.

She posed an interesting question. A question Danny didn't have the answer for because he didn't have all the data.
"I don't know." He said. "Is there anything you can do?"
It was obvious she wasn't some random civilian. She had been armed at the club, and was armed now. Perfume aside she was also wearing body armor. Her purpose for being at the club also revealed that she was not simply a heavily armed good Samaritan. Come to think of it, Danny didn’t even know her name, aside from the nickname ‘Amby’ that Jag had addressed her as.

Ambellina leaned back in her seat, folding her hands in her lap and crossing her legs so that the toe of her boot touched Runt's leg.
"I'm extensively trained in covert operation and espionage, in personal combat, and in the use of various forms of explosives, information technologies, poisons, and firearms. I'm also pretty useful around the house."
With her last comment she nudged Runt with her shoulder, obviously teasing him.

"So your like a Swiss Army Wife?" Runt asked and then laughed at his own joke. Hefty threw his crumpled up ration bar wrapper at the back of his head.
Danny pondered it for a moment. "Can you fly a ship?"
Hefty's eyebrows perked up. "What?"
Danny held up a finger to silence him. "We don't know what we're stealing yet Hef, you might need a co-pilot, or we might need you elsewhere. It's never bad to have backup contingencies."

The young woman furrowed her brow slightly.
"Well, yes...I can, but I've had very little occasion to do so in the past. I may be out of practice, but I'll most certainly be passable as a co-pilot."
It was a lie. Ambellina hadn't so much been taught to fly a ship as she had been taught to figure out how to work various vehicles and interfaces. She was banking on being able to pick it up as she went along.

"Ok, I'll keep you in mind as a possible backup pilot or co-pilot." Danny said. "Did we get a new vehicle last night?"
Runt nodded. "Yes we did. It's a beauty to. We parked it down the street. It's large enough to carry us and all our stuff."
"Ok, lets get our stuff packed into it and scout out our target." He stood up from the table and gave the hand signal for everyone to get moving.
Runt started packing up his equipment. Tank closed his portable work station and Hefty did a quick weapons check and then stuffed them into a duffel bag which he slung over his shoulder. Danny did a few rounds around their safe house to make sure they didn't forget anything. "Ma'am, do you know of anything in this building that might be used to identify us? Is everyone here trustworthy?"

Ambellina stood, settling her pack on her shoulders and her holster belt around her waist. A shrewd look crossed her face for a moment and she walked towards the door.
"We'll be fine...I need only have a few words with Jag."
The woman slid through the door an into the main complex, disappearing down the stairs.

"Ok, you guys load up the Van, i'll wait for her down stairs and you guys can come swing around to pick us up." Danny said. Everyone nodded once in unison and then set about moving. Runt was the first to leave with his coms gear and then Hefty and Tank rushed out carrying their supplies.
Hefty patted Danny on the shoulder as he left. "I'll grab our stuff from where i hid it last night before we grab you guys."
Danny gave a thumbs up. "Understood."
The team broke up and left in staggard order so that people on the street didn't see identical people walking together. Danny walked down the stairs to the buildings lower lobby and waited.

After about ten minutes Ambellina came striding out onto the street. There was a recognizable triumphant swing to her walk and she offered both a credit chip and a data chip to Senior as she approached.
"The surveillance records from the block for the past two days and a little something to tide us over should we need a bit of currency."
She looked up and down the street before realizing that she was unsure exactly what she was looking for. Crossing her arms, she adopted a posture more suitable for waiting.

Danny took the items and stashed them in his jacket pocket. Imperial credits were highly prised. Perhaps this mission wasn't such a failure after all. He could bring these credits back to his superiors who would transmit the details to someone with the Jedi or the Federation. having examples to work from greatly aided in the efforts to counterfit currency which would be useful to attack the empire economically and to grant units in the field some capitol to fund their operations in the field.
It only took a few minutes before a large black van with a red stripe on the side pulled up. Before it even stopped moving the side door slid open to reveal runt and Tank sitting in the back.
Danny jumped in first and held out a hand to help Ambellina in. "You know where we're going Hefty?"
The driver of the van gave a mock salute into the rearveiw mirror of the van to signal an affirmative.
Danny sat down near the head of the van. Runt closed the door behind them and sat down, returning to his work of loading out some tactical vests. The vests were black in color and provided some basic ballistic protection. More importantly however was that they were covered in pockets and holsters. Runt had loaded out one for each member of Gray Team according to their personal tastes. Tanks had medical supplies readily available, Runts contained more climbing equipment and hand held comunications devices, Hefties had straps to help distribute the weight of larger weapons he might be carrying and and a grenade bandolier and Danny's was loaded out with extra ammunition.
Once he was finished he reached into his pack and pulled out an earpiece and an external throat mic. The earpiece fit into the ear like an ear bud but was held in place by a wire frame that went around your ear. The throat mike was little more than a velcro strap with a mic pressed up against your voal cords. All you had to do was push the button on the face of the device and talk and it would pick up the sound much like the implants Gray Team had. "Welcome to Gray Team ma'am." He said as he passed off the comunication devices. "How do you want your vest set up?"
Tank was busy loading bolts into his bowcaster. "She'll need a code name."
