Darkness Wrath dropped out of hyperspace and moved towards Hoth on a random approach vector. Thane knew very little of the planet, other than its freezing temperatures, and lack of sentient beings, but the man sleeping in the seat next to him had told him here is where they would find a treasure trove of information. Thoughts that the man might be aiming for betrayal coursed through Thanes mind, but then, what reason did he have for it? He had sought out Thane in the first place, and if he did try something, Thane would kill him. Simple as that.
The man suddenly woke up, looking forward, and pointing to a particularly mountainous section of the planet, and told him to set down there, even bringing the coordinates up on screen. A scowl from escaped Thane before he set the ship to land on the coordinates.
As they got closer, Thane started to notice things in the distance. A few moments later, it became clear that the landing location he had been pointed to was a base, long abandoned, or so it appeared. A handful of defense towers stood guard over the area, but they had either been deactivated, or had registered the ship as friendly, which threw off the sith for a moment. Glancing at his companion, he moved to the exit hatch before pulling his hood up over his head, and stepped out to the snow, his hands hovering near his collection of lightsabers.
The base was large, spread between the towers were foxholes, that could fit a small army if attacked from outside, whereas the bunkers, built into the mountainside were reinforced from what he could see, by durosteel. Walking towards the door, he heard Saerel following behind him, the man walked with his blasters in their holsters, and a calm smile on his face as he walked towards the doors control panel.
They arrived, and the man proceeded to open the counsel, and typed in a command that had the door opening in a moment, into an open room, much akin to that of a starships docking bay, a large room big enough to hold a tank, but closed on the other side. Thane and the man moved into the room, and up to the second set of doors. A quick alarm went off, as a grinding sound prevented the outer door from shutting, but a quick command prompt had the inner door opening just as easily as the outer had, revealing a small hanger that housed a dozen speeders, most of them in various forms of disrepair, and a few doors, all sealed. The bases lights seemed to be running on backup power, or low, Thane couldn't tell, and so far, his charge had been strangely quiet about what they had come into.

The power that opened the doors seemed to be out, as Thane walked to one, and it didn't open. A growl of frustration escaped him, as he reached out and using telekinesis to push the door open enough to pass through. A thought escaped him, if this was indeed, a bunker for a military base, wouldn't it be made more of ice? The thought passed, as fast as it arrived, as a sudden sound in the distance caught his attention. his hands shot out, holding the two halfs of his lightsaber, throwing his cloak back, but he didn't activate the weapons. He whispered back, Did you hear that? only to be answered by silence. Turning, he noticed that Saerel was gone. That he was alone in the again. The scowl he wore grew deeper, as he turned towards the direction of the sound, and began moving in that direction, his senses trained outwards, in case the source came to find him.
He reached an intersection, that spread in four directions, and glancing up each of the paths, he considered where to go. He was about to turn down the left hand side, when suddenly a flurry of motion kicked in from all directions. A loud alarm rang, as figures sprinted as if they had been there all along, down the corridors, as the hallway shook as if it was taking fire. Two men sprinted by him, heading back in the direction he had been about to go, shouting that the enemy was concentrating fire upon the hanger, trying to destroy their interceptors. Both men were dressed as would pilots, not defenders of a snowy fortress.
As the two passed one corner, the vision faded, back into the darkness that had been there but moments earlier, and the silence that had pervaded the ship seemed almost ominous. Thane looked. Taking the figures moving as a reference to what lay in that direction, Thane looked instead to the right, the direction the two had come from, and started a slow walk down that way. It didn't take long before he reached a barricade of debris, with very little room to climb over. The doors to either side had been welded shut. Without a second thought, Thane called upon the force once again, to smash the debris to the side, opening a path to the other side, and stopped short, when he found a handful of corpses.
Recognizing them as humanoid, and by their uniforms, he surmised that he had found a handful of the ships defenders, the sith moved on, leaving the corpses be. He expected fully to find more of the like through this ship. He continued his walk through the desolate corridor, looking for the command center.

The silence infesting the ship was all consuming. Even his footsteps didn't seem to make a difference in this place, and every so often, the lights flickered, threatening to go out, leaving him in darkness. The numerous corridors behind him left him wondering how he was going to escape the facility, but of more concerns was the ponderings of what happened to his 'guide'. The man had brought him here with promises of power and glory, just to disappear at the get go. Either this was indeed a trap, or there had not been anyone in the first place...
He had come across more bodies, some wearing the uniforms of the ships crew, while others wore different uniforms, or armor, suggesting two factions at war. His path had taken him through two bulkheads, up an elevator shaft and down another corridor that had brought him outside a large room that he assumed was somewhere near the center of the base. A quick calling of the force had the door screeching open before the sith, but what lay inside was a surprise to say the least.
The room was dominated by controls one would figure to see inside of a space craft, more so then a military base on ground, the center of the room was a raised platform that would give whoever stood there adequate view of the operations occurring around him.
Another flash of light erupted, and suddenly, he was standing amongst the old inhabitants of this room, as men and women moved amongst the terminals, shouting out damage reports, and orders into com links. The man in the center of the room stood calmly, his back to the sith, as on the main viewer what looked like a crash course into the mountains of Hoth. The man shouted, Prepare for crash landing before moving towards a seat stationed behind where he stood, but before he could get there, the vision faded again.
Shaking his head, Thane glanced at the consoles, all dark, before walking up to the closest, sitting at the base of the raised platform, and put his hand to it. The computer flashed a screen for a few seconds before going dark once more, showing that it was not getting enough power. A not so quiet sound behind him, had Thane turning, his blades jumping to his hands, as Saerel walked into the room behind him, a smile on his face, as he moved to the raised platform, weapons still in their holsters.
As he stepped onto the platform a circle of light erupted from the center, and a figure stood, rolling its shoulders back, and spreading its dark wings, as tears ran down its face, and drawing forth a blade. Thane watched carefully as the creature stood looking between the two, before chaos took it for a second, and it reformed its shape. The hologram solidified its gaze on Saerel for a second, before saying, You dare return after all you have done to this ship? The voice was filled with static, as its scowl remained fixed on the man before it.
You would rather to rot in the darkness for all eternity, dancer? You should have shut down when the crew abandoned you, but instead you sit in the dark, hoping for salvation, but what is there for you? The man laughed before saying, Whether or not I have destroyed the lives tied to this ship, this is my inheritance, to do with as I please. You grieve for those that were lost, yet you remain as a silent grave marker, watching their tomb. Dancer swore as his code flashed red for a second, before he said, I hope you rot in hell, Saerel. Self Destruct....
Override code 36295. Dancer, Stand down. You serve me now. Saerel cut in as he moved up to the main terminal and tore out the connection that hooked the A.I. into the ships main server. The A.I. seemed to shimmer for a second, before turning his original colors, and said, Yes, sir. The anger dispersed from his voice, and his features going plain. The tears had disappeared from his face.
Thane watched on in silence through the exchange, when suddenly Saerel turned to him, and said, What you seek is in the captains quarters. He pointed in the direction of a door to a sideroom next to the exit. With suspicion in his eyes, Thane walked towards the room and when the door opened, walked in.

Taking a moment to allow his eyes to readjust to the darkness of the room, Thane stood by for a second, as the door closed behind him. The room had emergency lights active at the moment, which lit the room just enough to see outlines of furniture and other things in the room. walking forward towards what looked like a desk, thane looked around. A sudden flash had the rooms primary lights activating. He stood in an almost barren room, nothing really showing the personality of the past inhabitant and the standard desk, which lay spotless, a note in the top corner was attached with the pre-action report of some mission, likely the last one the captain of this ship had gone on. Shaking his head Thane sat at the desk, looking down, as the top suddenly lit up with life, flicking through screens, before solidifying on one. "Password:"
Before he could comment, the space started scrolling through symbols, and letters, some he recognized, others he didn't, before seeming to select a phrase, "aay'han", the terminal unlocked before showing the last screen the last man to sit at this chair had looked upon. It was a photograph of the sky, a cloudless night where a man seemed to lay on his back looking up at the stars, trees on the edges of the scene seemed to show that a forest surrounded the picture. The stars shone bright overhead. The scene blurred and a moment later, Dancer seemed to step out of the side of the screen, walking to stand in the center of the picture, before motioning to his sides. Into existence popped reports from the fleet on the attack on Corellia, and other battles that the ship had taken part in, as well as reports on supply bases, suspected forward operating bases of their foes, and other intelligence files that had passed the commanders desk over the time he had commanded the ship.
Smiling at the intel he had been able to glean from this ship, Thane stood up, and walked back towards where Saerel stood, and said, Thank you for this. I shall call upon you when I make my move. before walking out the way he had come, and departed the ship, as well as the planet.
Saerel stood by for a few moments as the man left, a smile on his face. He had thought there would be more of a challenge on the ship, maybe some stragglers holding the ship in hope of reinforcements, but it seems they had moved on, and left the ship to its fate.
Thinking over the last surplus that this ship held, he slowly made his walk to the ships starboard hanger, emerging to view the assortment of ships, fighters, intercepters, gunships, and bombers held there, and the smile spread, just a bit. The sith might take korriban, but Saerel had bigger plans in mind...

A sudden gasp showed life still held to the young man who had seemed to sleep most of the trip this far. Morith shook his head as he looked back to the man, once again, wondering why he and his men were drawn to him. He put the ship down in the clearing of an old fortress, by the looks of it. coordinates had come from an unmarked sender, pinged as origins, and his charge had seen it as somewhat important to go investigate. since the battle at the medical facility, it seemed that the group made rushes from one portion of the galaxy to the next, based off of the mans whims.
Looking over once again the the youth, Morinth reached over and nudged him, but it was quickly apparent that it wasn't needed, as the youth sat straight, clear eyed, and looked out the front view screen at icy fortress. A moment of sadness cleared him, as a vision flitted past his eyes of a time he could hardly remember, before he stood up, and moved to the ships landing ramp, Morith falling into step behind him, the dark jedi's cloak pulled close around him to ward off the cold. I can almost see it, Morith... The part of me that whispers that all is wrong. he trailed off, as he walked towards the giant open enterance that seemed to be a vehicle launch bay of the facility. Strangely, the planets native Wampa's hadn't taken residence in this cave yet. The thought that something was amiss struck deep for a moment, before being brushed aside.
Jay'ce reached out with the force, and sensed a life form in the facility, a short distance away, but it wasn't a hulking wampa, or tauntaun, but rather felt humanoid, and seemed to be waiting for him... With a glance back at Morith, Jay'ce motioned for the sith to follow him, but remain quiet.
The two proceeded through the hallways, following the lines of open doors that seemed to lead into the center of the massive complex. At one corner, Jay'ce turned to confirm his suspicions with morith, only to find the sith had disapeared, and in his place stood the remains on a man in mandalorian armor, a Vibroblade in hand, aiming down the hallway that Jay'ce had just come from. Two more troopers stepped to the sides, taking up covering positions, as a rush of creatures came down the halls, towards the Mandalorian. The creatures, looking like Vornskyr lunged forward, a few being taken out by quick blasts of controlled fire from the mandalorians, while those that got too close were systematically cut down by the swordsman, before a crack of a slugthrower sounded off of his armor, dropping him down low. The handlers, what looked like mercenary forces, tossed a couple of orbs, and the mandalorians fell back, one dragging the downed man into his own hallway, where upon closer inspection, a trail of dried blood lead to a sealed doorway.
Reaching out, Saerel tried to locate his lost companion, but to no avail. The force was too mixed here, as the ghosts of those who fell here seemed to cloud all but the past. Even as he reached out, a vision of a closed pod enveloped him, and the feel of gravity pulling him down, the view before him showing a burning atmosphere over a destroyed city on some planet, before the pod slammed into the ground, knocking him out of the illusion once more, and into the present. Grasping his head, Jay'ce shook to clear his mind. The images had been coming too often, but not this badly since he had woken up.
Jay'ce continued on his way, moving down the hallways to the source of the life force in the ship, remaining as cautious as he could be, wondering where he would find Morith, or what exactly the message was about. He found himself, instead, running into a figure, almost an exact copy to himself, who stood in a similar manner on the opposite side of the room. At first disregarding the figure as another phantom, Jay'ce moved to pass by, but noted that the figure moved the same direction as he had, blocking his way once more. Stepping to the other side had a similar affect. Still a good 10 feet away from eachother, Jay'ce marched forward, as the figure did similar.

As he neared the target, Jay'ce noticed a minute difference between himself and the man he was approaching. The way the mans left hand moved, didn't quite match up with his mechanical limb. The 'illusions' limb was just to.... normal? As his eyes lifted to the mans face again, he noticed the 'illusion' was smiling, as the hands snapped out two sabers, and lunged forward, one coming in towards Jay'ces chest, the other one coming in low to stab into his hip, and cut through to the opposite shoulder. The split second he had to react, Jay'ce drew his own weapons, and snapped his blades in the defense, on crossing low to slam into the blade coming for his chest, as the second angled out to drive the chest shot aside. The figure corrected his blows quickly, with the out driven blades momentum spinning him around bringing both blades slamming in a cross slash, to which Jay'ce slammed his own blades into from above, knocking them down and stopping the momentum. The two figures stood there for a moment, breathing hard, as their muscles tensed, the blades holding each attack in place.
Whoa, hold up! Jay'ce started to say, but was cut short as the figure kicked straight out, into jay'ces stomach, and forcing him back a few steps, doubling over enough for the opponent to pull his sabers away, overbalancing the youth. The two blades worked their way up, and poised to strike straight down into Jay'ces exposed back. Reacting quickly, Jay'ce dove forward into a roll that brought him away from those deadly blades, but straight into a corner, which would hamper his maneuverability. Looking back towards his opponent, he squared up, expecting the enemy to be coming for him, and was surprised to see the figure standing where he had been, a disappointed look on his face. Moving out of the corner, and to the side, enough to put his back to a doorway, Jay'ce watched the figure closely, his blades up defensively before him, as the figure looked to him suddenly, a scowl showing before he waltzed forward, and slammed his blades forward, not in an attempt to kill Jay'ce, but to hit Jay'ces blades. before pulling back and repeating the action multiple times, the rage growing in his face after each successful slash. When he finally stopped, his eyes fell down towards the ground, and his body was wracked by shudders, before he looked Jay'ce in the eyes, and hissed, You leave for this long, and come back weaker than before. BASTARD! his words struck harder than the foot had, and Jay'ce had no idea why... It struck him as the figure stepped back, slamming a fist holding a sabers hilt, into the wall as the blades deactivated. With a spit of discust, the figure stood there before saying, You came here after the message was sent, and your this weak? Look behind you, and find out why you see visions of another life, "Darmanda.
