Med Bay, Mirage: Near Vjun Another twinge of pain shot through Nisha's system, causing her vitals to peak abruptly as a vaguely discernible twitch manifested in her right hand. A plume of bubbles billowed out from behind the breath mask as an alarm screeched and her neural patterns flared, indicators that the pain was beginning to seep through again. With a quick sleight of his slender metallic fingers, Sigma adjusted the anesthetic output and corrected a minor discrepancy in the oxygen supply systems. The alarm faded and Nisha's neural patterns began to level out again as the drugs took effect. Her pale form gradually fell still again, floating calmly in the bacta solution. Sigma's unflinching gaze drifted away from Nisha briefly, shifting to the Tuk'ata on his left as its attention perked at the shrill beep of the alarm. The hound had never left the med bay since their escape from Ravenhold; ever the loyal guardian of its master. Sigma normally never payed the creature much attention, but its presence was hard to ignore as of late. Turning his attention back to the Sith Lady, Sigma glanced over the readout on the bacta tank's instruments. Nisha's condition was still critical. She had suffered a number of broken bones, lacerations and a few internal hemorrhages from her encounter with the Jedi. That she had managed to escape with her life was nothing short of a miracle. Still, she would require access to more advanced facilities to fully recuperate from her injuries. The Mirage was only a temporary arrangement until they could reach their intended destination on Vjun. There, her condition could be properly diagnosed and triage could be applied to begin the recovery process.

Tess and Aura moved into the infirmary room after the Mirage was safely set into orbit. The young unlikely allies had a glance over at Nisha, and then Sigma. Tess' first aid at the site of the battle was the only reason Nisha was still in one piece. Not only had she popped and shifted the woman's bones back into proper anatomical order - she also performed CPR for forty five minutes just to get a cough out of her. Aura knew very little about medicine; and was charged with fighting off the Jedi - keeping them at bay. Without him, it's a good possibility that Tess and Nisha could be dead.
Grey emotionless eyes fell on Sigma. Aura always liked the droid, always thought it was cool that Nisha owned such a fascinating device. "Is she stabilizing well?" He asked it.
"She's going to be out of commission for a while yet..." Tess replied confidently, but with care. Her expertise in medicine preceded her youthful appearance. She had been a slave medic for several years, and she knew what she was talking about.
"What about telepathy? I'm sure she's aware of whats going on out here..." He said, before turning to the Sith Lady. Tess looked over at Malum's holocron. They'd managed to salvage it. Maybe he would know what to do. Nervously, and with great caution, she approached the device and activated it.
Aura closed his eyes. Sable was the better telepath, but she'd taught him a few tricks. He tried as hard as he could to focus in on Nisha's mind. -Are you there? Can you hear me?- he asked.

Sigma's attention hardly shifted away from Nisha as Tess and Aura entered the infirmary. He had detected their arrival long before they had entered the room, using his exceptionally sensitive audio receptors to do so. One of the many perks of being a droid.
The same couldn't be said for the Tuk'ata hound though as it's posture stiffened with a throaty growl, spines standing on edge as Aura entered the room. Like Sigma, it had detected them earlier as well, sensing their presence through the Force before they had even set foot through the door. Tess was the first to come in, and while it had grown accustomed to her scent, Aura was still an unknown.
As the pair made their way across the floor towards the bacta tank, the Tuk'ata shadowed Aura's movements, red eyes glaring in disapproval as it settled near the tank and stared back at him.
Sigma tapped away on a keyboard and adjusted the anesthetics again as Tess and Aura discussed Nisha's condition. It was taking a considerable dosage of combined drug therapy just to keep her from slipping into a comatose state. But it was a task that he was more than capable of accomplishing.
"What about telepathy? I'm sure she's aware of whats going on out here..."
************
White hot pain surged through Nisha's body and she screamed inside her mind before another refreshing surge of drugs bled through and dulled the ache. Though her sensations were mostly dead, she could still hear her heart thumping in her ears. And every now and again her nerves would awaken enough for her to feel an extremity twitch. Stark reminders that she was still alive... for the moment at least.
The last few hours had been spent drifting in and out of consciousness, each time wondering when the next return to darkness would be her last. During her lucid moments though, the pain often shared its place along side her anger as she found herself trying to fit the pieces of the puzzle back together. How had it come to this? Where did she go wrong?
More importantly... Who had betrayed her?
It was perhaps only natural that her mind would contemplate treachery above all else. After all, things had only gone wrong after...
-Are you there? Can you hear me?-
Aura. Of course. A pang of hatred boiled up in Nisha's mind as his thoughts seeped through into her own. She never saw the scowl that briefly creased her features, but she could feel it as a passing twitch graced her brow.
"Aura..." She managed wearily. Even the simple act of communicating telepathically was beginning to take its toll on her. Another rush of pain began to creep up, but a shot of pain killers cut the sensation off before it could overwhelm her.
************
Malum's holocron shifted with a subtle click at Tess' touch, the tip of the pyramid shaped object opening slightly as the holographic image of a man draped in thick swathes of dark cloth materialized. At first the gatekeeper said nothing, its translucent blue form flickering as the figure folded its hands into the pleats of the robe's wide sleeves.
After several moments of silence, the gatekeeper finally acknowledged Tess. "Speak." It said, a cold emotionless tinge to its tone.

BT-7 Thunderclap's Armory High Orbit of Vjun For days Sam kept training the men that GO-TO sent him and so far the only progress he made with them was knowing which end to hold a blaster, with the exception of Duncan who was piloting the ship. Qara being the most difficult to work with consently fighting Sam refusing to learn the theory behind martial arts and only focusing in the practical aspects of it, granted she was the most talented of the bunch by a hair but still talented. While Sand was the exact opposite though getting his ass handed to him every time, khelgar being like Qara only cared about the fights caring little for the theory he was more tolerable that her however mainly by keeping his mouth shut. Ok I think that's enough training for one day. Sam said as he made his way towards the exit when Qara piped in What scared that I'll woop your butt. Actually if I stayed here any longer I would have to kill you. Sam made his way to the cockpit to ask Duncan where we are, Sam could't wrap his head around the situation if GO-To wanted Brem'fad gone why send him four incompetent men. Duncan where are we? Duncan jumped in his seat when Sam walked in and spoke. Oh ehhh where are Vjun a remote planet in the outer rim. Oh christ Duncan grow a pair, the only one I'll hurt is Qara. So what's so important about this place? Ye Yess sorry sir, well Vjun is a dark, almost lifeless planet in the Vjun system, known for its acidic rainfalls and resultant lack of plant life. It was also renowned for its expensive hand-woven tunics. There also appears to be a lone freighter entering the orbit of the planet. The last bit had Sam' nervous was it that Sith that he encountered on Rift or was it Brem'fad Mandalorians?Unsure sirWell take us down nice and gentle and out of their sensor range. Duncan brought the Red Sun into low orbit avoiding the lone freighter Sam just stood there something didn't feel right about this.

Aura ignored the hound, but his peripheral force vision always kept the creature's position locked on. He didn't assume that it would attack, for they were - at the very least, loose allies for now. Aura was far more concerned with Nisha's lack of ability to reply to his message. While he was pleased that she was still semi aware of things, her clouded vision and groggy responses would prove problematic. He decided to reassure her.
"Don't worry... you can go to sleep, and heal. You're safe. The Jedi can't hurt you here." He told her. "Tess and I will be on hand if you need anything at all."
Tess intercepted the telepathy that involved her, and turned to Nisha nodding. She said nothing, but it could be felt telepathically that she was present and ready. She turned back to Malum, and nodded to the prominent former Sith Lord. He was a dark intimidating figure to be sure, and Tess swallowed awkwardly. This wasn't her game at all. She took one step back, but never stopping locking eyes with the holocron.
"My Lord." She told him with a slight bow, just out of respect.
Aura on the other hand smirked, and felt something swell in his belly. That swelling developed into held back laughter, which he tried to stop by closing his mouth and covering it with a gloved hand. He couldn't do it though. He threw his head back into a cackle, and laughed darkly at this irony. Nisha had always told him he wasn't allowed to see this artifact, but it seemed he held all the power now.
Tess looked over at him horrified. Was this boy really an ally? Should she be ready for a betrayal?
Aura wiped his nose childishly with the back of his hand, before approaching his mother and father's former master.
"What do you want me to talk about, old man? The fact that Nisha is all but on her death bed, or the fact that the empire you created has crumbled?" he asked with a pause. "The Jedi control everything, and there are only so many of us left... Your eyes fall now upon the Sith of Tommorrow... Tell me what I have to do..."

Bast Castle: The tortured screams of the Sith Lord's victim echoed off of the cold walls of the Sith Citadel. His pleas for mercy were ignored, met instead with another lance of searing pain in his ribs accompanied by the melodic recitation of words and phrases that he couldn't even begin to comprehend. The pain raced through his body, causing his blood to boil in his veins. Though his muscles were weak, his body malnourished and his strength all but bled away, still he fought against the will of the Sith Lord. At times finding the resolve to speak through the pain to utter various curses and insults to his captor, vowing a revenge that he knew he could never have. Other times, the sensations were simply overwhelming, eliciting little more than an involuntary convulsion that forced his body to twist and contort in ways that were unnatural to the human eye. But still, his tormentor disregarded his suffering, taking a measure of sadistic satisfaction in his gruesome work. Commanding the powers of the dark side at his fingertips, the Sith Lord conjured an illusion on the man, chanting an ancient Sith ritual as he directed the Force to consume his victim's mind. The effects took a moment to coalesce, but soon they became evident as the man's tormented screams rose up even higher now, his voice growing hoarse as painful welts and legions began to boil up on his skin. Though his body had been subjected to relentless abuse over the past few hours, much of him growing numb, unable to differentiate one pain from another, this new sensation was nearly impossible to bear. His skin swelled up in places, leaving painful red blisters scattered across him as the feeling of a slowly rising heat began to build inside him. His blood seemed to run hot and his lungs felt as if they had been filled with smoldering ashes, choking him of breath. He opened his mouth to speak, but a hot dry air was all that escaped as his tongue swelled and his throat dried out. Tears may have been present on his cheeks, but he could no longer tell if his body was incapable of producing them, of if the sorcerer had made it impossible for him to do so. As more welts sporadically found their way to his body he moved feebly beneath the weight of his restraints, which seemed to be as heavy as starships by this point, but he could accomplish little and gradually surrendered himself to his fate. Slumping forward, he let the chains bear the weight of his decrepit body as the Sith Lord's words grew ever more distant. Slowly he let his eyes close, plunging him into a world of darkness, his pain and the Sith's melodic incantations his only companions as he allowed himself to drift away slowly.... Into nothing. Finally sating his rituals and breaking from his meditation, Lord Toth regarded the withered husk of his victim with contempt. He had not lasted nearly as long as the last prisoner had. How disappointing. Still, even this experiment had yielded some useful results. Indeed the power of illusion was a remarkable tool to have at his disposal. It had taken years to perfect the art, and even longer still to invent creative avenues for his application, but the results had been satisfactory. Studying the corpse of the prisoner, Toth was keen to note any physical changes that he had been able to inflict. And they were bountiful. Everything from blisters and scratches, to burns and puncture wounds. The dark side had allowed him to inflict horrible wounds on his victim through the mere power of thought. An impressive feat to be sure. But there was always room for improvement in the Sith Lord's mind. Gathering up his personal effects again, Toth's attention was drawn away as a proximity alarm blared through the room. A quick glance at a nearby computer terminal revealed that a number of unidentified ships had crossed into Vjun's orbit. For a moment the Sith Lord felt a wave of panic wash over him. The Jedi had finally caught up with him. It was destine to happen. He was foolish to think that he could have remained hidden from their notice forever. Still, he wasn't going to let them intrude on his work here. Turning his attention to another console, he made a quick calculation from the readout on the screen. The clones had been in hibernation for decades, still perfectly preserved, still primed for action. He cringed to think what might have become of them had he not stumbled upon the castle and labored tirelessly to maintain it. But if the Jedi wanted him, then they were going to have to pay dearly for their prize. With a few quick strokes on the keyboard, Toth initiated the clone's reanimation process. Decades old machines that had not seen use for years began to hum to life and a lop-sided smirk crawled to Toth's face. "Now we see if the late Emperor's ambitions were founded..." he mused off handedly to himself. ************ Aura's laughter drew the attention of the gatekeeper as it shifted its attention on him. " What do you want me to talk about, old man? The fact that Nisha is all but on her death bed, or the fact that the empire you created has crumbled?" Neither point seemed to resonate with the gatekeeper, but Aura's next comment did. " The Jedi control everything, and there are only so many of us left... Your eyes fall now upon the Sith of Tommorrow... Tell me what I have to do..." A thin grin played out on the gatekeepers features. "If the Sith truly wish to survive, then you will journey to the surface of this planet and locate Bast Castle. Things will become clear from there."

Aura turned to Tess, and took an authoritative tone he hadn't displayed prior to this. "Take us down there immediately. Find this castle... Until I say otherwise, I'm in command here..." He told her, before grinning down at the hound and over at Sigma. Tess stopped in her tracks, stumped by this boy. She knew humans were ambitious; she knew all too well not to cross him. She was a medic and techy, not a warrior. Reluctantly, she nodded to him.
Taking the helm, Tess descended into the atmosphere of Vjun. Aura turned to Sigma, and looked the droid right in it's lifeless eyes. "I am not your creator or your master, but we're in a bind... She knows as well as I do that the sith are going to go extinct without a plan. What were you able to do Sigma, when your heavily fortified Ravenhold was attacked? Absolutely nothing... you must assist me, or none of us are going to survive this." He told it. "What is your mission?" He asked it, wanting it to remind itself.

The exchange between Tess and Aura had little effect on Sigma, who remained as diligent as ever with Nisha, keeping a keen eye on her condition. However, when Aura turned his attention on the droid and addressed him directly, Sigma shifted a cold gaze onto him.
"I am not your creator or your master, but we're in a bind... She knows as well as I do that the sith are going to go extinct without a plan. What were you able to do Sigma, when your heavily fortified Ravenhold was attacked? Absolutely nothing... you must assist me, or none of us are going to survive this."
Of course Sigma said nothing. The survival of the Sith as an organization was never meant to be a matter of his concern. His priorities rested exclusively with preserving the life of his master; something that Aura would quickly remind him of in the next breath.
"What is your mission?"
Sigma processed the question with near astronomical speed. His mission, above all else, was to protect Lady Nisha. This was his purpose. Nothing more concerned him. With what amounted to a slow nod, sigma acknowledged Aura's intentions, considering that an alliance, however temporary, would drastically increase their statistical probability of success.
Of course, it also helped that Aura was not on his database of potential targets. Though the droid surmised that after her recovery, Nisha may well re-script his assassination protocols. Something he was looking forward to.

Aura was pleased the droid saw reason. "She can't talk, so you'll just have to follow my directives for now. If you don't like them, then feel free to kill me." He told it. "We have an accord then?" he asked it.
"I think I located the castle. Looks well guarded..." Tess called from the cockpit.
"Good, take us in and use evasive manuvering. Consider everyone down there a hostile until I tell you otherwise. Sigma, I need you to cover Tess once we get down there. If anything happens to her, there's a good chance we won't be able to fully heal Nisha. You two are going to be our intelligence operatives for this mission... hack security, take down shields, disable their weapons. That's what you do best, right?" he asked rhetorically.
He crouched down next to Barron, pulling a piece of beef jerky out of his pocket and opening it up. He held out the meat for the dog, and looked at it confidently in the eye. The beast didn't scare him, and infact he was rather fond of it.
"You'll go in with me. Anyone who tries to shoot or stab me, I want you to tear off their foot... remember who you're fighting for..." He said, gesturing back with his thumb to the bacta compartment.
Tess was circling the base and blaster fire opened up on their vessel. One skimed their armour, but Tess was a pretty good pilot and managed to throw off the missiles and blast down a defense turret with the light guns of Nisha's ship.
"Looks like it's starting..." Aura told them. "Does she have anything...sithy I can wear?" he asked the droid.

The Red Sun jerked around as it entered low orbit of Vjun, dark clouds began to form indicating a storm was brewing. Both Sand and Qara rushed into the cockpit to gain a better view of everything, Khelgar was still in the armory training. Can you fly this thing any better Duncan. Qara demanded as she crossed her arms Duncan just gave a slight look in her direction as he piloted the ship. Sam a storm is brewing and judging from the clouds it's going to hit soon.
Any place we can set this bird down and wait out the storm? Sand checks the navigation computer, a lone building towering high pops up and Sand give Sam the good news. Sam the computer indicates an old castle not to far, sounds like a good place to touch down.
Any information the place? Nothing in the data banks, and judging how fast those clouds are moving we don't have much of an option now do we. Again Sam's instincts are telling him to keep going be he knew that there was no way they could ride the storm out. Sam takes the Co-pilots seat and gets on the comm channels broadcasting on an open channel This is freighter transport Red Sun requesting permission to dock and ride out this storm.

Med Bay, Mirage: Aura laid out the battle plan, such that it was, securing Sigma's temporary allegiance without much trouble. He might have been programmed to serve a single master, but thankfully he was also programmed with an extensive repertoire of strategic analysis sub-routines that provided him with a surprising degree of autonomy in combat situations. And based on his calculations, the odds of survival were drastically reduced withstanding even a loose sense of cooperation between them. Logically, it just made good tactical sense to follow Aura's lead for the time being. As Aura knelt down to offer a piece of meat to Barron, the Tuk'ata sniffed at the food curiously before retreating with a subdued growl to resume its vigil over Nisha. Unlike Sigma, the hound's loyalty was unshakable and it would never leave its master's side for any reason other than to defend its territory. The Mirage shuddered and pitched suddenly as incoming fire grazed its outer hull. Based on the erratic maneuvers the ship took to avoid the incoming fire, Sigma was able to conclude that his sub-routines were no longer in control of the ship's auto pilot functions. Instead, it seemed that Tess had taken the reins. If the droid could have sighed, it might have. The Togruta was grossly inexperienced as she railed on the controls, throwing the ship this way and that in sporadic fits to dodge the barrage of missiles and lasers being thrown at them by the castle's defenses. " Looks like it's starting..." Sigma turned to face Aura. " Does she have anything...sithy I can wear?" He ignored the question as he made one final adjustment to Nisha's life support systems, assigning one of his redundant sub-routines to act as a monitor that could keep tabs on her and inform him of any changes in his absence. Satisfied that his programs were in place and doing their jobs, Sigma left the med bay for the cockpit, leaving Aura alone with Barron. Bast Castle: Toth glanced nervously at the console in front of him. The clones were reviving much slower than he had anticipated. At this rate, he would almost certainly be overwhelmed. The castle's automated defenses could only do so much, and beyond that he possessed little more than a handful of battle droids for security purposes... which would be next to useless against the Jedi. His nerves began to fray and worried thoughts tumbled through his mind as he hastily resorted to setting up his contingency. If all else failed, he was prepared to destroy the castle, his research and anything else that the Jedi might be able to capture. It was not an ideal arrangement of course. Toth loathed the idea of being forced out of his little haven. But he was nothing if not pragmatic. Living to fight another day was preferable to dying a stubborn fool's death. The comm channel on another nearby console chirped suddenly and Toth shifted an eye to it. " This is freighter transport Red Sun requesting permission to dock and ride out this storm." The transmission vexed him, a confused look creasing his features. Who would be so bold as to request landing permission from a Sith? For Toth, the answer was obvious. Jedi or not, no one was going to step foot inside the castle and live to tell about it. Reaching over, he flicked the switch on the comm to the "off" position, ignoring the Red Sun's request and blocking out any further distractions. "If the Jedi came here to take me alive, they've come on a fool's errand." He mused to himself, his fingers flying over the keyboard in front of him in a flash, one eye constantly flitting back to the console that was keeping track of the clone's progress. With a few deft strokes on the keypad, Toth turned some of the castle's defenses against the Red Sun, giving them a taste of the fortress's defenses by honing a number of the base's turbolaser turrets in on the freighter's position. "I'm not the one dying here today. Not me. Never..." Toth seemed to be slowly losing his grip on reality as his enemies closed in by the second. More than anything he was fighting for time, all too aware that he stood little chance of actually winning this battle. Cockpit, Mirage: As Sigma arrived in the cockpit, his vision was filled with a menagerie of lasers, missiles and flak bursts erupting outside the ship. The leaden sky over Vjun was awash in a sea of red laser bursts and plumes of black smoke from exploding flak rounds. And smack in the middle of it all was Tess, a white knuckle grip on the control yoke as she pushed the ship to and fro trying to weave a path through the chaos to the landing pad below. Without a word, Sigma settled into the co-pilots seat and fit himself comfortably behind the controls. With a quick sleight of his hand, he brought the ship's main guns under his command and synced his own threate detection systems with the Mirage's targeting computers to begin identifying and prioritizing targets. Dozens of potential targets lit up on the hud in his vision, but he singled out those that posed the most immediate threat and locked the ship's weapons onto them. In a flash, the Mirage returned fire, knocking out a couple of turbolaser towers on the castle's northeast side. More targets appeared to take their place, but Sigma reacted almost instantly and fired off a second salvo. Another gun position exploded in a fiery blaze as the Mirage began to make its final approach to the castle. Fire slowly withered the closer they got as they dipped below the firing arcs of most of the fortress's heavy guns. Shifting his attention briefly to the ship's external scanners, Sigma determined the most secure landing place and relayed the coordinates to Tess in the pilot's station. If she followed his directions, they would come in on the castle's eastern most flank, approaching well below the canopy of fire to approach an abandoned supply dock.

Aura crouched and took a seated position. He looked over at Malum's holocron which was still activated, and loosened his muscles before closing his eyes. Aura sat calmly in front of Nisha and her hound, focusing on the dark side. With his force abilities, he aided the ship's shields and lightened the effectiveness of the few lasers that got past Tess' fairly valiant piloting effort.
Tess was sweating at this point, and wiped her brow with her left hand before coming in for the landing, which was pretty smooth considering the reasonable desperation. She slid on to the landing pad, and the Mirage's missiles blasted the last few anti-aircraft defenses that could hit them from the seated position. As they landed, Tess nodded over to Sigma.
Aura sensed one more missile and caused it to explode right in front of the cockpit window, before shaking his head. "Tess..." He growled, before standing back up. He tossed the beef jerky to the hound. "Protect her well." He said, before sending a telepathic note to Nisha. Shutting off the holocron, it closed back up.
"We'll be back."
--
Aura was far quicker to jump into action than Tess, who waited for Sigma. The Sith opened up the port side door, and force flipped down on to the landing pad, before charging the base on his own. Tess was careless, and he knew it, and she was a danger to blow his cover. Aura disappeared into the shadows, and the inner workings of the base through a ventilation shaft.

Everyone remained silent as the people Sam contacted hung up on him, Qara was the one who broke the silence They hung up on you didn't they. As Duncan reports that they are charging trbolasers at them. There also keen on attacking us no, we so screwed . Sam looks at the castle and at the storm a few times Castle it is, Duncan evade their fire Qara find us a place where we can land.
Duncan did his best to evade the fire coming from the assholes, the Red sun took a few hits nothing that the shields couldn't handle, it's strange why they were offering up such little resistance after they made the attempt attack us. Well if they keep throwing this kind of resistance at us I think we can handle them. Qara if that comment comes back to haunt us, I'm throw your ass out the loading ramp.
Duncan pulled a few quick manoeuvres avoiding the majority of turbolasers, the Red Sun's targeting computer lit up a few key targets guarding a landing pad on the east side of the castle. Duncan fired upon the turbolaser towers while taking a few hits, Sam tells Duncan that their shields integrity is at sixty six percent and dropping. We need to land this bird now, is the pad clear?
It will be soon. Duncan finishes of the rest of the defences of the eastern pad and and begins to land. Sam, San and Qara head to the armoury to load up, Sam holsters a single blaster pistol and several non-lethal grenades mostly EMP's and stun, as well as some prototype Czerka b/spore stun grenades, Qara with a long sword with a cortosis weave and Sand with a blaster rifle. Khelgar also suits up when Sam tells him to guard the ship, he's not too happy about the order but he was the boss.
OOC: a little weak on the approach, but just roll with it.

Cockpit, Mirage: As the Mirage settled into place in the supply dock, Sigma ran a quick check of the ship's systems. Everything seemed to have weathered the assault quite well. They had only sustained superficial damage to the outer most sections of the hull, but nothing ever breached it. His attention turned next to the monitoring program that was keeping watch over Nisha. Her vitals were still relatively good, all things considered. She did not seem to have sustained any undue trauma during the approach - something that was a small miracle in and of itself considering how the Mirage had been bucking and pitching about. The sooner he could get her off the ship and into a secure medical facility the better. Tess nodded over to him as the ship's flight systems powered down. Sigma faintly acknowledged the Togruta's gesture, watching a small light on the console in front of him that indicated that the port hatch had been released. No doubt this was the work of Aura, as the ship's external sensors had not detected any active security systems in the docking bay. After some last minute checks to the ship's systems, Sigma slid out from the co-pilot's seat and left for the armory. Bast Castle: Toth's face blanched as the castle's outer defenses were breached by the invaders. His clones were still some time away from being able to provide him with much needed back up, so it seemed that he would be forced to rely on his small contingent of battle droids for the time being. Spinning around to the security console, Toth entered his security key and activated the castle's droid defenses. He knew the battle droids would stand little chance against the Jedi, but at the very least they may be able to slow them down. Turning his attention back to his research, his eyes darted back and forth across the screen as the system began purging itself of all sensitive data. The process was painfully slow, marked by an ominous red status bar that crawled across the center of the screen. Months of research and toil were being flushed down the drain, but Toth had spared only his most promising results. Those files had already been transferred to an off-site location far from the castle's central mainframe. At least he would be able to salvage something out of this wreck. Bast Castle, East Landing Pad: The doors leading out to the landing pad creaked as they slid open, revealing a contingent of armed battle droids. The droids clamored out onto the landing pad, weapons drawn as they marched forward to meet the intruders.

Aura was already burrowing deep into the base, cutting through the steel security doors and chopping down the occasional droid. He came on the security camera to Toth's right, and knocked on it. Igniting his red saber, he showed what he was and grinned deviously at who ever was watching him. "I suggest you come out and fight me yourself... I have you at an advantage, and I'm on my way to your little security office right now..." He told him. He paused for a second to see if there was a response. "Malum sends his regards..." He told him, before sinking back into the darkness, and cloaking his position with the force.
Tess looked outside and saw the droids approaching. She frowned over at Sigma. "You never mentioned you were having a family reunion..." She told the assassin droid, before taking the ship's guns again. Tilting in their general direction, she opened fire on the droids with the mini gun blaster. Her barrage was wide and wild, and aimed to kill as many droids as possible.
