Bio:
Jarik's life starts off born into a rich family and raised with some of the best things money could buy. His childhood was riddled with political intrigue on the planet of Empress Teta. He received training in fencing primarily when younger which escalated to swords as he grew older. His parents were influential among the nobles of the planet but almost always under pressure by opposing houses either through assassination attempts, or more subtle maneuvers. As the only son of three siblings he took a lead early in house politics, while his younger sister was being prepared to be married off to close an alliance, and his older sister was already getting ready for a wedding.
This wedding is where everything would change for Jarik, and he would go from a well mannered noble to more of a jaded avenger. A coup was attempted the night of his sister's wedding by the groom's family, but Jarik ended up defending himself and his younger sister through it all. Despite only being fifteen at the time he managed to kill three men and escape. He knew they would be hunted so he left his sister in the slums of the abandoned underground and made his way back up to the surface. Tonight he would go on the offensive, for they wouldn't expect him to attack the same night they had attempted to kill his family.
Jarik ended up slipping into the room of his older sister, and moved towards the bed carefully and quietly. He prepared to dispatch the source of his family's woe. His sister watched as he pulled forth a sword, putting a finger to his lips. She screamed as he went to stab awakening the man and only landing a deep cut before he lost his sword to the bed. The man in a rage tackled him and began to pummel Jarik, only to be stopped by his sister commenting that he had promised that her siblings would be unharmed and that they were 'needed' for their story.
He ended up not remembering most of what happened in the coming days as the fortune and birth right was robbed out from under him. His younger sister had been found and brought back to the estate building and had been keeping his bedside company. Jarik ended up recuperating from what was publicly known as an assault upon his family's house hold. Claims were that he had killed three men fending off the attackers and protecting his younger sister all the while, and luckily he had held out just long enough for his sister's husband to come to the rescue.
Hatred was all he knew for the next few years as he was forced to live a lie crafted by the opposing family. His youngest sister Sophie eventually did marry off into a loveless marriage cementing a trio alliance between houses, and he could feel the increasing hedging of the families to remove him from the picture. Elsina the oldest sister kept putting it off saying it would look too suspicious. It was only on a chance meeting that he had attended a dinner party where he would meet a very influential man in his life. This man turned out to be an Inquisitor of the Old Empire, and he spoke of things Jarik hadn't even begun to think of. The one story he took to heart however was the story of a prince who was so embroiled in his own thoughts that by the time he decided to act upon his impulse for revenge he ended up loosing everything.
Left with that tale firmly in his head, he decided it was time to plan the downfall of Elsina, and her husband. During his planning he had also learned more about man his younger sister Sophie was married to, and of the abuse she was subjected to. He started there blackmailing him in order to gain access to additional funds which he eventually hired a mercenary crew to help him carve a bloody path through his old family's estate. He wanted to send a clear message to anyone who would oppose him. He was not afraid to kill those who got in his way, and his justice would be quick, and brutal. Things went badly, and Jarik ended up surrounded by six men the only one left out of his assault force.
His speed as a blur as rage blinded him, he would not fall here. With an energy he had never felt before he had unleashed a power locked away, pushing men backwards and fending off the others with supernatural speed. He felt invigorated like he had originally when he was younger fending off the three men. Something about these life or death situations unlocked a hidden reserve. Cutting down the last man, he threw the body through the door and entered to see his sister had already murdered her husband. Shocked he moved forward to his sister in confusion, and other unidentifiable emotions rumbled through his mind. Elsina held tears in her eyes as she opened her arms to her brother, saying the nightmare was finally over. Shell shocked from everything he moved forward and hesitantly hugged her. She suddenly went stiff as a board, and a voice called out from behind him.
'I had thought there was promise in you boy, but I see you are easily fooled by a woman's tears, but I will offer you one last chance to see for yourself,' the deep voice emerging from the shadows. Jarik noticed it was the Inquisitor from the party, and proceeded forward letting go of the awkward embrace. He demanded to know what he did to her. 'I have only paralyzed her in place so that you could truly see her for the snake she is. Have a look yourself, boy.'
Jarik turned to face the treachery of a knife in Elsina's hand, and a horrified expression on her face. His face hardened as he put the pieces together. She would throw away her husband's life just to gain the upper hand on him, and no doubt she would claim her brother had gone mad and killed her husband so she could maneuver politically once more marrying into another family. He took the knife from her hand.
"Stop... please...."
"Not for you. Never again."
"Get... OUT OF MY HEAD! I had to kill our parents, there was no choice! They would have left the fortune to Jarik and me with NOTHING!"
Confused Jarik took a step back and looked to the inquisitor focusing intently on her. Back to Elsina he saw her noise begin to bleed as she continued.
"If Jarik hadn't been mentioned in the will I would have had him killed as well, but my parents had prepared for any eventuality.... I..... should have killed you anyways!"
Stunned by the sheer venom in her voice Jarik gripped the knife tightly and drove it through his sisters chest. As she crumpled the knife slide back out and he gazed at the knife for a time. Then he tossed it aside looking to the Inquisitor. He asked what he wanted, and he was offered a choice. To stay and deal with back stabbing nobles, or join the Inquisitors in the Imperial remnant. The Empire had been defeated years ago but they still persisted.
In the end Jarik left his sister Sophia to inherit the wealth of the family, parting with a warning that if he were to learn of any more abuse he would come back personally and kill him. With that he left with the Inquisitor and began training among a group of hopefuls. He learned hand to hand, lightsaber training, assassination techniques, as well as some of the darker ways of the force. As he grew in strength some of the hopefuls began to see him as a rival, and he decided at the first sign of trouble he would eliminate his enemies. It wasn't against the rules in fact some praised him for it. Jarik didn't kill them all but made sure to make an example of anyone who tried to oust him.
By the age of twenty three he became a fully fledged Inquisitor, and began to work within the Imperial remnant. It was widely believed that force users were extinct however plans were in motion to change this. His primary missions were assassination of any that learned of the Imperial Remnant building more ships, and war machines. He also had the opportunity to hunt down some fleeing stormtroopers, to keep that quiet. After many years and missions he was eventually he was one of the spear heads again the First Order, a fractured part of the Old Empire.
Despite sometimes wondering about his younger sister he had never thought to return to Empress Teta to see his sister. He however still received reports on her, and reminds her husband the only reason he is alive is because he had changed his perspective on things.
Recently, as a reward for his loyalty was granted a unique armor set, for which he has become known as the "White Phantom." In recent years he commands a small task force carried in a Taung Class Strike Carrier complimented with fighters, and upwards of three hundred men. Their "Official" capacity for their unusual armament is that they are fighting pirates along trade routes and enforcing the Galactic Concordance where applicable.
