"Hail Mandalore!" came a call across the surface as Bermfad exited the Taung class cruiser from behind. There was a silence across many of the Mandalorians as he stepped out onto the grass near the lake where the base of operations had been being constructed. The construction of the city was coming along quite nicely with the engineers at work and every mandalorian willing to lend a hand. Bermfad had decided to broadcast on an open channel when he arrived so most of the Mandalorians would hear it in their suits if not over loud speakers throughout the growing city.
"A war has started, and Mandalore before me has thrown the first blow against the Empire leaving a scar the Empire shall not soon forget. In his place he has left me the Mask of Mandalore and I vow to continue the war against the Empire until we defeat them or die trying. On my honor, I say it's time the galaxy began to recognize us again but in a new light. Some may disagree with what I call honor, but I will lay down what I think it means to be Mandalorian. If any disagree feel free to challenge me to open combat." started Bermfad, knowing he was going to has to assert dominance fairly quickly lest orders not be followed and he lose the respect of those around him. They were less likely to follow someone how had just been handed the job if they felt that the person in charge wasn't up to the job.
"Mandalorians in the past have bettered themselves through combat and gained honor for bravery and feats of daring. They looked down upon those not Mandalorian to the point of intolerance. I harbor no such feelings to outsiders. It is these time old traditions that allowed massacres such as Cathar to happen. It is something I shall toss aside. We are strong but we are not brutes. We strive to be the best, not the winner. Every pain is not felt alone but together. Every failure is spread across the community that is Mando'ade. Every triumph and victory is everyone's to share from the lowest man all the way to Mandalore. Remember in everything you do, it represents not only yourself but your brothers and sisters. You represent me. I in turn shall represent you, and the courage of Mandalorians, not the spite and hatred of our brutal past. We are not barbarians. We do not kill the innocent or weak. We were once invaders, but now we shall become guardians. The empire may have burnt their bridges, built up their walls, tossed rubble at us, and tried to deter us with the force but we are not easily steered aside. We are as mighty as a Krayt Dragon, as swift as a Vorn'skr, deadly as the Blue Harvest, and honorable as any Jedi. So I ask you Vode, will you join my crusade into the core worlds to liberate them from tyranny?"
Bermfad then took off his helmet so they could see the face of the man who would lead them. He had only one thing left to say, for he knew almost everyone within the Clan Ordo would know who he was for he had been raised by almost everyone in Ordo. Select few who know Mandalore and his Grandson Bermfad would also know who he was.
"My Grandfather was as brave as any man, and I will follow in his footsteps. He knew that if the King does not lead, then how can he expect his pieces to follow?" With that Bermfad waited for a response and he got a general shout. Most Mandalorians went back to work with renewed vigor, and others began to train with increased intensity. Others prepared their gear, and the weapon's depot was becoming quite a busy place.

Ash fallowed Mandalore out of the ship, standing behind him as the man spoke. When he came to the point of taking off his helmen, questions were answered about who the man was. Ash smiled slightly as he adjusted the sword on his back and waited for his leader to finish talking so he could get a word in to the man.
Nice words, Mandalore. You may have some people now who will want your title, but if the old Mandalore trusted you with the job, then I wont be one to second guess that move. Lead us well, Mandalore, for I will be the first to listen to your orders.
Ash needed to make up for his, well... past life. He made some serious mistakes, so he needed to do all he could to make them up and get back at the empire, no matter the cost. [/sub]

"Good to hear, it will be interesting the days to come. I'm thinking we should go onto the offensive and strike our blows first." said Bermfad knowing that would mean spreading out his fleet however he wasn't afraid of that as much as the empire seemed to be. He strode back into the Taung class followed by HK-47 and he motioned for Ash to follow him. Once they came to the room he'd make for his main command center.
"So Ash, I have a favor to ask of you. If your not afraid with another brush with death. I need someone to lead a strike against the Empire, the war is starting but I want to size up their strength. We'll start a second Mandalorian War but this time it won't be a negative thing. Remember we are here for the honor and glory of battle. Not the slaughter and killing of civilians. I would like you to take this assignment if you are up for it. A Nimitz, and Picard cruisers would come with two hundred and fifty troops, and fighters to spare." said Bermfad thinking that teaming up both Roland and Ash would hopefully provide a deadly duo he needed to kick start the conflict. "So are you willing to take it? Or should I just hand it over to Elifain when he gets back?"

Brush with death? I laughed in his face and came back to haunt him. Death is a massive pussy.
Ash fallowed Bermfad to the command center, and stood at light attention, letting his eyes move around the room. Silently, he listened to what his leader had to say, and slowly a smile carrest his face.
Elifain isn't getting his hands on this mission. Im itching for some combat.
Ash grinned and rolled his shoulders, popping the tendons. He looked right into Bermfad's face, pupils narrowing considerably at the thought of a fight. The first strike against the empire, and he was going to make them pay, and if he died again, well... he would rip the empire apart as a force ghost. [/sub]

"Good, then meet up with Roland's fleet, and head out. I'll be coming with you two, but you'll be giving the orders. I want to make sure I have Mandalorian leaders who can do their job competently." said Bermfad as he looked over to HK-47. "Use your voice programs to fake me being here. I'm sure you can do that, and do not add your usual statements on how the sentence is said."
Statem--- I will try my best master.
"Good, now if you'll lead the way Ash, Roland should be reporting in soon above the planet." said Bermfad as he collected his array of weapons, personal shield, and the insignia of Ordo. They would most likely be on their way by nightfall if not sooner. He was curious as to what planet Roland and Ash would pick to attack, but regardless he would be ready to meet the challenge. During the trip he was going to be working on modifying a CAS, and imputing the memory core from his old basilisk war droid. It had developed quite a personality that have saved his life many times before, he knew a new body would please, the AI. He smirked at the thought of having 'Sorry' back.

Ash nodded, turned on his heel, and walked out of the room, heading outside to the large armory that was stationed not far away. He gathered a second sword, and a ICWS rifle, just in case there was a big ground fight and he was thrown into it. As ready as he could be, and still without armor, which he didn't plan on getting until after this mission.
Prepared, he walked back towards where Mandalore was, and hopefully some transportation. He had a sword to his name, and that was it. The freighter he rode in on belonged to some other group, which he 'borrowed' and once he was through with it, the pilot left. Both swords and the rifle on his back, Ash finally made it to his leader.
Ready when you are, Mandalore. [/sub]

The Aay'han, and the Taungs fury dropped from hyperspace above the planet Mandalore, and began the slow approach to the planet. They moved to rejoin the fleet, Roland issuing orders, here and there, to what he thought would be the best course for the two ships to go to achieve their goal. As soon as they had rejoined the fleet, Roland opened up communications to The flagship of the Mandalorian fleet, requesting orders for how to move beyond that, before nodding to NK-02, which had joined him from Elifains fleet. The droid kept constant contact with its brother, and so Roland learned that elifain had gone to kankage, to cure himself of the disease, the anemos virus. He had also learned that the man, Ash Lightning had come back from the dead, and was now with mandalore, unless things had changed since elifains departure

Bermfad was waiting just on the inside of a Q-class Mandalorian Carrier working on the CAS. He was up top, and had oil staining his armor already. As Ash came up he was replacing the AI with the AI from his old basilisk war droid named 'Sorry'. Bermfad had often joked about his AI's name, saying that it was named Sorry because something bad was about to happen. Particularly a smack to the face, or a shatter missile to make you fly.
"Looks like everything's about ready. Roland's here so I've been told." said Mandalore as he finalized the loading of the AI and began to work on the outer structure of the CAS. He was making storage compartment for his weapons that were magnetized to keep the weapons from falling out even if the compartment was open. The only thing that would demagnetize the weapons was a small jammer in his hand that would allow him to grab only the one weapon he intended. A mount was being strapped to the back, one that could lock the person on top of the mount even with going full speed and a free ride variety should the user want quick dismounting capabilities. The ship began to take off once Ash was on, and Bermfad continued working on the CAS with help from a few engineers that would offer a comment or two. Sometimes a suggestion that he would take to heart. Once they arrived near the ships in Roland's command he took a break opening the comlink between the ships. The display would show him and Ash on the screen to Roland.
"It's about time to strike another blow against the Empire, if we can keep them scrambling and on their heels we might be able to keep them off balance for a while to come." said Bermfad as he nodded towards Ash. "I want to see what you two can do, as commanders and I'm coming along as a combatant. Don't even try to argue, because I'll give you a smack you'll remember for it."

Nice ride. I'll need to make sure to get me one.
Ash ras refering to the CAS runner. He knew they were new to the galaxy, brought out by a rather small company. He didn't know their names, but some vehicles he knew about. This must be their newest product, and it reminded him of a basalisk war droid, only larger, and more animalistic. Ash smiled as he let his eyes drift over it, then back at Mandalore.
Roland? Hmm... so thats who I was sensing. If you have it, I would like to have an acurite summary of the forces under our command, so as to better plan our attack.
Ash felt the shuttle take off as soon as he was on, and set a hand on the bulkhead to steady himself. [/sub]

Bermfad wiped his hands with a cloth rag before picking up a datapad connecting it to a terminal and clicking a few buttons to download the assigned troops and ships. He then handed the datapad over to Ash for inspection.
1 Picard1 Venator 1 Kandosii 2 Jehavey'ir 40 StarViper-class Attack Platform 40 Bes'uliik Assault Starfighter 5 Meteor-class Q-Carrier 8 AT-130 Dragoon 10 Basilisk War Droids (Part of the Thundering Herd) 4 CAS (Part of the Roaming pack) 200 Basic infantry 50 Anti Armor 10 Technicians 10 Medic's 20 Snipers 20 Flare S swoop bikes 20 Elite Infantry
Any of Clan Lightning's ships at your disposal, and Clan Drakain's at Roland's disposal. (Up to the Clans themselves if they wish to serve)
"That should be a near complete list of everything at your fingertips. The longer we wait however, the longer the Empire has to grow their forces." said Bermfad who had already set other plans in motion to bolster their numbers. It would be within the month that even more ships began to show up to compliment the capital ships privately owned by many of the mandalorians, displaying their wide array of use just like how an individual mandalorian had different sets of armor.

Ash took the datapad and looked it over quickly, mind racing. In his mind, he went over all that he had learned from watching the holo-news, and quickly found a target planet. Hid pupils narrowed slightly, which was kinda like an evil smile. His face was still blank.
There is suppose to be some sort of Imperial convention or something on Alderaan lasting some days. I can feel them in the force, our targets. Their not the biggest targets, but they are decent tactitions and scientists. If we take them out, and maybe cause some overall distress, it would be like a kick to the shins, and it will cause some pretty good harm to them.
Lightning clan, mainly me, are very short on ships. I dont know where Akira is, and I dont have her force pressance anymore, so i cant track her down, so what we have is between our fleet and what Roland has.
More likely than not, this convention was at Alderaan's capital, but Ash also wanted to take out some Imperial targets outside the city. If all worked out perfectly, they would be in and out of the planet in less than a day, sooner depending on how smooth things go. [/sub]

Roland stood by, listening as Bermfad explaining force numbers, and whatnot, and ash's counter plan on what their target would be. He blinked, before saying, I have nothing to throw our way right now. My forces are currently buisy. He shrugged, as he looked around, before adding in, They should be back soon, within a few days.

"Then we'll have to make due with what is present." said Bermfad shrugging slightly. He figured either way, after the Nar Shaddaa and Korriban incident, the Empire wouldn't exactly be looking for a fight. "Alderaan will be an interesting choice. It's in the core of the galaxy, and close to their heart."
Mandalore then motioned to the others standing around to get back to work, and he made a short communication with the Kandosii they had just landed on to get moving. As it entered hyperspace he turned to Ash. "They'll follow your commands from now on, I'm going to prepare myself and I think you should too." said Bermfad going back to his CAS. As he came up to the large war droid it bent down low like a cat ready to pounce and Bermfad stroked it's large head which made it straighten out after a few pets. The AI was really particular about attention.

Zuko Rusade walked around after the speech of the new Mandalore. He was looking for Roland as he was assigned to him not long ago but managed to lose his leader. He headed to where the new Mandalore was hoping to find Roland there. "Man, I hope he doesn't get pissed at me for getting lost." Rusade said to himself.

Akira arrived on Mandaloren late into the night, and slepted through the entire welcoming of the new Mandalore speach. When she did wake up, it was late in the afternoon and there wasn't much going on. She sat on the ramp of her Spyglass corvette Intrepid cleaning her armor, piece by piece, just something to get through the time and get to better know her armor.
Next to her was a blaster pistol, something she started carrying around in these newer and more dangerous times. Compaired to a month ago, Akira was different by far. She was tougher to say the least, and a glint in her eyes told everyone she was not one to be messed with anymore, but she still had a soft, girly side to her.
Too bad there was nothing going on for her. All she could do was sit around and bide time until she was assigned a mission from Mandalore. [/sub]
