I've mentioned before that I've used firefox for years now and it's never had a problem with BHOD. I can only figure it's something with your computer.

Try Chrome. That's what I use. I was thinking about it. My dad uses Chrome and i really like it. except it works fine when i use safari. I just hate everything else about safari which is why i don't use it. It's really weird. i'll probably end up using chrome.

Hmm...have you tried upgrading Firefox? Try upgrading it. If that doesn't work try clearing out your url (by pressing CTRL+Shift+Delete) hit those three buttons together and a check list should show something like this (note this image is for Internet Explorer) However if you are going to clear your urls please have your favorites so you don't waste your damn time having to wrack your brain of what the hell the site name is. Not being a smart ass just stating a fact. Anywho if your firefox has something similar to this with what is listed like temporary Internet files, cookiees, history. You can check those off checked and then hit okay. Now is clearing your history cookiees and whatnot a bad thing to do? No because websites that you go to clutter your computer's temporary internet files with all kinds of shit it's not even funny. Call me a computer nerd if you want I don't give a damn . Besides that's what I'm majoring in college for computer specialist so I know a thing or about computers. Matter of fact I recommend cleaning out your history about once a week or once a month and give your computer a good defrag once a month too to help free up disk space. Anywho hope you find that useful and let me know if that helps. Although Internet Explorer works just fine for me but meh.

i clean out my computer once every month or so and the problem still persists. Its not cookies or my url history because it continues to do it when they're clean or full.

if you haven't already, upgrade to firefox 5. If you've already done that, go into your security settings and white list BHOD. If that fails to solve the problem, completely uninstall and reinstall firefox. If there are any problems past that i wouldn't be able to figure it out without looking at your computer. If you're using a mac... there's your problem right there >.> (I have no idea if you are or are not but you mentioned using safari so it's a guess since you said nothing about IE).

It's only BHOD that does it though. anyone got anything on this? Z i know you got some technical mumbo jumbo magic locked up in that head of yours. Why does BHOD hate firefox? I'm going to skip the usual questions like "have you upgraded?" and assume that you don't have any virus and are well aware of the dangers out on the internet that just LOVE to mess with Internet explorer and Firefox. If you don't have Malwarebytes I suggest it for the removal of most Virus'. Anyways, from your vague post i'm going to need what you mean by it just craps out. Does it give you a 404 Not found code? Just it just sit there forever (like if you click a link twice by accident it does sometimes) or does fire fox come up with a pop up saying "FireFox has stopped working" and the only option on it is Cancel. Things like that are helpful for diagnosing. May I also know what operating system your using? And if you are on a network with 8 people connecting to the same wireless like at my house. ^Jezred, that made me Lawl at the end there. XD

Yeah....^
I know. Mac is only better because Microsoft PC's are so popular thus more people hack the popular one so they can distrupt more people. Hence more virus' for PC's that use Windows.

if he's using mac then I have no idea what to tell him *shrug*. A.) I don't troubleshoot macs and B.) in my experience they crap out at the most trivial things so I'm going with that being the problem.
