Atop the High Council Tower of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant were the chambers of the reformed Jedi Council. The tower on the Temple's southwest corner was one of the first to be rebuilt. The chamber utilized large windows instead of walls, giving the room an open feel as well as a spectacular view of the Coruscant skyline in all directions. In the center of the room, emblazon on the floor was the Jedi Order's emblem along with seven seats surrounding it.
At the moment there was only one flesh and blood Jedi in the Council chambers. Si Quan sat in his seat directly opposite the chamber's entrance. In front of him was a holo image standing in the center of the room atop the Jedi emblem of Si Quan's old apprentice, Ganner Dysar.
"The rebuilding on Apatros is running smoothly Master," The holo of Ganner said, "Commander James has located another pocket of resistance on Dantooine. We should be shipping out to rendezvous with him there this time tomorrow. From the Commander's report, it sounds like we may need the Knights for this one. Can I count on you Master?"
Si nodded, stroking the whiskers on his chin as he thought, "I see no reason why not," he answered, "I should be able to meet you and the rest of Knights over Dantooine by tomorrow... unless something unforeseen should arise."
Ganner smiled and bowed, "Very good, Master. I look forward to seeing you again in person." The holo display then flickered out and Si Quan settled back in his seat.

Savard landed his little ship at the temple docks, grabbed the keys and leaped out of it. he locked it as he took off toward the main pillar, several jedi guards giving him eyebrow raises, as most people stopped and gave a respectful greeting. "Sorry guys...important business..." The grizzled Kiffar told them. Emerald eyes locked on to the elevator doors down the hall, and he booked it towards them. A large fellow kiffar stood in the way, shaking his head. "Only those authorized in the council room use this elevator...I suggest you explain yourself, Jedi..."
"I'm Jedi Knight... Savard Cornelius... Viper of C-Corbenic. Master Jor Halcyon ... sent me...it's urgent ...that I deliver this ...message." he said, now panting from his long run. The other kiffar sighed and stepped out of the way. "It's no fun if they have permission...May the force we with you..." he grumbled. Savard saluted, and headed inside the elevator.
--
At the top, the doors opened up in a sliding fashion, and Savard stepped forward. He was still mildly out of breath. "Greetings Master, Jedi Knight Savard Viper." he said, with a humble bow. "Sorry to interrupt. But I bring great news. We...we found Sartori...THE Ryuu Sartori... and we arrested him... Master Halcyon will be bringing him here to Coruscant very soon, Master." Savard stopped, and stood at attention, waiting for a reply from the only man in the room.

An older man in his sixties walked into the High Council Room at the top of the Jedi spire. He was wearing a set of black robes and had a will maintained gray beard. He looked at the Jedi Knight then over at Jedi Master Si Quan giving a slight bow before proceeding to his seat on the council. He had just got out of a meeting with the Surgeon General of the Republic about the medical situation on the planet and the galaxy as a whole. It seemed that a few people of Coruscant were still suffering from symptoms of the darkside taint brought Emperor Cain will he control the planet and that outbreak of Regilian Flu was under control on the planet Kuat. Master Rhea also agreed that the Circle of Healers and the Jedi Medical Corp would gladly take in any still suffering from the darkside taint and would be sending several Jedi to Corellia to insure that the returning population was not under threat from the virus which the planet was originally bombarded to counter in the first place. He only returned to the Council Chambers for the weekly meeting that would normally occur within the hour. After setting he looked over at Jedi Master Si Quan. "I take it that the young Jedi Knight brings good news?" He said to the Jedi Master sensing the pride in Savard. His pulse was racing and could use moment to calm down a little which is why Erik spoke to Si Quan. Jedi Master Erik Rhea

OOC nice picture, gall but i liked him better in white. Alric walked into the council chambers. He had received word that there was need of him. He had come from the Jedi Archives, and as the head of the Council of First Knowledge he was to take care of the Jedi Archives. It was begining to return to it's former glory however much of what he obtained on his mission and searches would never been seen my most of the Jedi save for anyone on the Jedi Council. He wasn't able to be present always but there were more than one security protocols for the holocron's stored away within the Jedi Temple. He glanced over at the other master's who had already arrived. He was relatively new to the council but he knew both men sitting before him. He found it odd that most of the council was human, in the past a multitude of spiecies had colored the council. Alas these were not the days of old. "Master Quan and Rhea, it is good to see you once more. It seems the force is with us," said Alric as he strode to take his usual seat. Before sitting down he turned and passed his seat towards the window looking out upon the city of Coruscant. The Mandalorians had done their best to rebuilt the city while they controlled it. Much to Alric's surprise they had done a good job for being known as only destroyers. Contrustions and additions were well underway, in the wake of new life back to Coruscant. There was something grim he found about the scene. He couldn't quite put a finger on what it was. He reflected that perhaps it was his unease, of an event prior. He breathed slowly reciting the Jedi code. There was no need to dwell in the past. The judgement of that one was long past, and reports that came back to him said that he still remembered nothing. 'Force bless us,' he thought in that moment. 'We don't need yet another problem on our hand, though this day seems oddly reminiscent.'He had begun documenting a plan to continue observations on the select individual who had somehow remembered only his name. "Zilfer." If luck would have it that's all he would remember for the rest of his days, but Alric wouldn't be alive to see that so he had to set up measures to stop him from ever obtaining knowledge of the darkside again. The person he was cloned from, Revan had once regained his memories. Something they needed to all be cautious of. He had warned of a creature to the council before sumitting to a memory wipe, and a servering of the force. 'Intangible... I pray he was wrong about this creature....'

The Botany Bay dropped out of hyperspace over coruscant with Rita still operating the ship via autopilot. Jor didn't like Coruscant because the traffic was perpetually terrible.
"Rita, best possible speed to the Temple. Use regular traffic lanes I don't want to draw any attention." Jor said to the ship's walls.
He approached Ryuu quietly. "We're almost there. Are you ready for this?"

Savard's sudden appearance in the Council Chambers took Si Quan by surprise, but it was nothing compared to the news the young Knight was carrying. Slowly some of the other High Council Members had began to trickle into the Chambers. Among them was the head of the Council of First Knowledge, Master Alric Dysar, and the Jedi in charge of the Circle of Healers and the Medical Corps, Jedi Master Erik Rhea.
"I take it that the young Jedi Knight brings good news?" Master Rhea questioned.
Si shook his head, "That depends on your point of view," Si began, "Apparently Master Halcyon and his Templars have located and arrested Ryuu Sartori. They're bringing him here now."
Si had known Ryuu predominantly when the boy was a Youngling, Ryuu had been one of Si Quan's many students. Ryuu's twin brother, Kyo, was someone Si had known considerably better, as Kyo Sartori had been Si Quan's second Padawan learner. Si had not heard from his old Padawan since before the war with Cain and the Sith had begun. Si had felt the absence of Kyo and suspected the worst... the news that Jor was returning now with only Ryuu seemed to confirm Si's fears.
"We're almost there. Are you ready for this?"
Ryuu nodded quietly. His expression was stoic despite the wash of emotions that were flooding back to him upon returning to Coruscant. He had many memories of this place, some of them good, most of them bad. There were also many familiar presences on Coruscant, people he'd wronged and deep down inside never wished to face again. But it was not for him to decide.
"I am ready for whatever destiny awaits me," Ryuu answered finally, "this is something I must do."
Upon arriving at the Jedi Temple, Ryuu was whisked quickly up to the Council Chambers, His face kept hidden from the Jedi walking about the Temple. Upon stepping into the Council Chambers, Ryuu let his hood down, showing his face. The first Jedi he saw, directly in front of him now, was Master Quan.
"Master," Ryuu bowed his head slightly, "It has been some time."
Si acknowledged Ryuu with a nod of his head, "I wonder if it has been long enough," he replied, a stern look on his face as his eyes remained locked on Ryuu, "the years have not been kind to you, old friend."
Ryuu turned away, attempting to hide the right side of his face, and the shame it represented, from his old mentor, "I've asked for this audience only for the opportunity to tell my story."
"Oh?" Si interrupted, "The council is quite familiar with 'your story', I assure you. I am curious as to what it is you hope to gain by presenting it to us in person. I can't imagine you've become so naive as to think that this Council could possibly hold any more pity toward you than it already does."
"No, Master. My intention is not to beg for your sympathies. I wish only to impart what I've been through, and make known what my brother has done for me."
Si raised an eyebrow at Ryuu. His words were unexpected. Si had heard that Kyo and Ryuu had last been seen on Byss during the battle there ten years ago that marked the beginning of the end of the Sith Empire. Si assumed that Ryuu had murdered Kyo there and then himself possibly been killed by one of the Sith. Ryuu's words suggested something far more complicated may have transpired, "Proceed, Padawan Sartori."
Ryuu took a moment to collect himself before recanting his story. He told every detail from the day he first left the temple to save his parents on Dantooine to his being discovered on Lehon by Savard and Jor. Ryuu explained how Cain had lured him to the dark side, praying on his anger and rash nature, using his desire for revenge as a tool to fuel his growth as a Sith. He revealed that it was in fact he who had delivered the killing blow to Cain, but that revenge was not nearly enough to satiate the hatred he had cultivated in his heart for so many years. He convinced himself what he needed was more; more vengeance, and so he sought to slaughter everything and everyone he perceived to have caused him pain. It was a catastrophic decision that culminated that day on Byss.
"I suspect Kyo knew what would happen to him when he met me there on Byss. He said himself that he had come prepared to bear the weight of my hatred if it could mean freeing me from it," Ryuu paused again, fighting back the emotion that began to physically manifest itself. Wiping a tear from his cheek, he continued, "My brother gave up everything to save me from myself, and for that I can never truly repay him. All I can do is to share with all of you what he did, and try my best to live my life as he would have lived his."
There was a long silence in the room as Ryuu finished his story. Si Quan's attention never left Ryuu as he listened. Kyo had always looked up to his brother, and Si could recall that as a child what Kyo wanted more than anything was earn Ryuu's respect. Looks like you finally got your wish.

Jor waited until Ryuu's speech was finished before he began. "I didn't inform any authorities that he is here on Coruscant but we will need to eventually. Sir Savard and myself will need to be witnesses at his trial. I can also speak for the Council at his trial if a statement is drafted up for me to read."
Jor looked at Ryuu and then over at the other Masters. "The republic will undoubtedly ask us to help with keeping him contained. There aren't to many prisons built to contain extremely powerful Force Users."

Savard was probably the least surprised by Ryuu's revelations. "I had faith that you changed..." He whispered to himself. It wouldn't bring Kyo back, but maybe a small part of Kyo had lived on in his brother. Savard turned to Master Jor. "Witnesses at the trial? Wouldn't a witness entail someone who was present when he committed his alleged heinous crimes? The only crime I believe I've witnessed is when he assaulted myself and Kyo on Byss." He muttered, turning to Ryuu. "You shot lightning at me, and Kyo put up a barrier...saved my life... In any case, I don't think either of us would make good witness for you...besides...I have too personal an agenda...I'm too biased... And Jor...It's just Savard..."
Savard shook his head, and walked back over to the exit. he turned his head only, and stared back at Si. His hand was near the button to open the elevator. "Sorry Masters...This is too much..." He said, pressing the elevator button.
"I don't know if I can stomach any more of Mr. Sartori's company... May the force, and Kyo, be with you, Ryuu..." Savard grumbled, before heading inside the elevator. But he sensed something, and paused for a second.

Ryuu kept silent, having said his piece there was no more cause for him to speak in this chamber. Master Quan had also been silent throughout Ryuu's long confession, his thoughts never far from the child, full of promise, that he had once instructed within this very Temple, and who now stood before him a broken man.
As Savard moved to leave the Council Chambers, Master Quan finally spoke up, "We all have a stake in this, young Templar," Si called after Savard, "but we cannot afford to be selfish. You have done a very great thing in finding my old student and returning him here to us. Do not lose heart now."
Si stood, walking past Ryuu, only acknowledging him with a hand placed on his shoulder, "The Council will have its statement for you as soon as possible, Jor," Si said, "As for keeping Ryuu contained... we can hold him here for the time being, at least until after his trial. I will make the necessary arrangements."

"I will act as liason to the republic DOJ for the time being." Jor said. "any further discussion of his possible imprissonment should be reserved for when the accused is out of earshot."
Jor bowed to the council. "i'll take care of Savard. He's one of mine."

Savard began to shake a little bit, almost shivering. His hand slowly moving away from the button that would bring him back to the level his ship was on. "With all due respect, Master...Do you even know...how much self control this has already taken?" he asked, gritting his teeth. "I am a templar, this is my duty... but I still have personal feelings about this man. Am I really a suitable person to have at his trial? For his sake, or mine? Personally I was hoping he'd resist arrest..." Savard declared. He paused for a second, and then walked back into the council chamber. "All of that aside however..." he walked past Ryuu, and turned around, standing face to face with his master's murderer. He was less than a foot in front of him, staring coldly into his eyes.
"If they string you up, or put you away... it will make Kyo's sacrifice meaningless. I want to see first hand this change he has inspired in you."And with that, he poked Ryuu's nose. " ...because I do believe you...you showed the same expression of sincerity I've seen on Kyo's face. You will be under my personal custody...lets have a little bonding time, Mr. Sartori. I won't let them put you in a cell just yet..."

Jor got pissed and didn't bother hiding it. "Sir Savard, your job as a Templar is to do whatever the hell it is i tell you to do and right now i'm telling you to step out of this chamber and wait for me outside. You better pucker your asshole as much as you can too because when i get out there i'm shoving my cybornetic boot as far up there as i can get it. You do not come into this room, in front of these Master and behave like this."
Jor unclenched the fists he didn't realize he was clenching and took in a breath. "I taught you better than this. Leave this room and wait for me outside... Now."

Savard's stern disposition visibly melted as he heard Jor begin to rant at him. he looked up at his former master and current boss, and then took once glance back at Ryuu. "Hehe, that is if the Council will allow it I mean..." He blushed sheepishly, commenting on his previous statement. He rounded Ryuu, and awkwardly stepped toward the elevator, turned and bowed to the council, then bowed to Jor, and did as he was told, and headed downstairs to wait on a bench to get chewed out.

Alric listened to Ryuu's lament, as he looked between the council members. He had seen himself first hand what the darkside could do to a man. This was the very thing he was poised to prevent. Even the smallest knowledge of the Darkside could prove corrupting. He sighed more internally than outward. There was still quite a mess to clear up around the galaxy if it was ever going to get back to what it "used to be". No it would never get back to what it used to be. He realized that now more than ever but one could strive to make this future a brighter place.
He drew a slight smirk at the young Jedi Templar that had placed it upon himself to guard Ryuu. Quite a brave young man to do that infront of the Jedi Council, that or not quite right in the head. After Master Halcyon chewed his underling out in only the fashion of someone from Corellia could he allowed himself a soft chuckle.
"At least he as spirit, and it's placed in the right spot. To improve the world, not that going against superiors and ordering them around is the best way to go about it," said Alric as he turned to the other Master. "On the matter of Ryuu here... he does not seem to be putting up much of a fight, a simple guard and a dorm room will do I think. Of all the Jedi in the temple, I don't think he'll be walking a casual stroll out of the temple."
Alric stood up from his seat stretching his legs for the moment. "Master Quan, we are missing on of the Masters.... Should we wait for him before we speak of this and sent Ryuu under watch to a dorm room?" asked Alric, he sensed great remorse coming from Ryuu. There was nothing in this mans stance that resembled the will to fight, in fact Alric was observing the very opposite. A broken man, scarred from his past and confused as to his future.

Master Quan didn't react to Savard's retort, as Jor did all the reacting for him. After the boy had left the room, Alric spoke. Si listened quietly to what his fellow Council Member had to say, specifically asking whether or not they should wait for the last member of the council. Si Quan was quiet for a long moment, his focus seeming to be elsewhere.
After a pause Si raised his eyes back to Alric, "My apologies, Master Dysar," he shook his head lightly, "I think we've held up these Templars long enough. We can render our decision now."
As Si finished speaking, the elevator doors opened again, and a young Knight entered the Council Chambers, respectfully bowing to the Masters in front of her, "You called me, Master?"
Si smiled, "Very good, Karin. Your senses are improving. I hope you wouldn't mind escorting our friend here to the dormitories. Keep him company there until Master Halcyon comes for him."
"Not at all, Master Quan," She replied, bowing again before gesturing Ryuu onto the elevator. Ryuu complied and the two disappeared behind the sliding doors.
With Ryuu out of the room, Si settled back into his seat, "Well, there can be no mistaking that the boy is repentant, but that unfortunately doesn't make him any less dangerous. The teachings of Cain must not be allowed to reach another generation. Lament as Ryuu might, to allow him to continue to carry this knowledge is a risk I'm afraid we cannot afford to take... Once his trial is over, his memories should be purged, along with his connection to the Force."
