What if the service was just alright?
I find it strange how many outsiders (Europeans and Asians from their respective countries) find it fascinating how we take tipping so seriously. I know in the UK, you aren't expected to tip, and some Asian countries like in china--they may feel insulted or run back to you to give your extra money back.
Also I'd like to ask.. Why do you tip? There is a reason beyond the "good service" I'm sure..
