Sable Wingston Age: 17 Gender: Female Rank: Knight (pending)
Born on Byss to the Sith Ariana Wingston, and the Sith Gustoph Wingston.
Something happened to Sable right before she was born. An anomaly. Normally, when a person is born on Byss, the inherent corruption of the planet seeps into them and darkens their heart.
Miss Wingston is completely immune to Byss and it's influence. Right before she was born, the darkness that should have existed in her heart was transferred to her twin, Aura. He's had a double dose.
What this means, basically, is that on Byss, Aura is a virtually unstoppable monster. He is one with the planet. He can feel it in his veins. he can do things on Byss that he simply cannot do on other planets. But he can't possibly hope to win a fight against Sable. She can think it, and he'll fly backwards. She can choke him out with her mind without batting an eyelash. Because she is literally the bane of his existence. She only exists to keep him in line.
--
Sable grew up with a normal life that went back and fourth between Coruscant temple and Corbenic temple. She's always been a charmer, and has always been an academic and behavioral success. She's a very bright girl with her head on properly. She likes to work with tech, and has delved into first aid and force healing as well. She not as good as Sav yet, but he keeps showing her more things, and they have a very father/daughter relationship.
--
Sable's trial became apparent when she was tossed from a moving speeder and thrown into a coma that would have killed a lesser individual. The fact that she can walk today is a miracle in and of itself, but just a few weeks after getting up, she went all detective and ended a tyrant's wrath on Panatha with words alone.
She has had numerous recommendations to be knighted, and has even been issued a padawan already.

Aura Wingston Age: 17 Gender: Male Rank: PadawanBorn on Byss to the Sith Ariana Wingston, and the Sith Gustoph Wingston. His life started during the climax of the battle of Byss. His mother was literally in a saber duel that she won, the very day he was born. She was attacked while in labour with the twins. Pretty bad when you lose to a blind woman who's giving birth, eh? Some of her tenacity definitely made it's way into Aura. He's never been much for rules, and has always been just as rebellious as his mother. Even in the early days at the jedi temple, he and Savard bumped heads. In any case, Aura and Sable were brought to the Jedi temple by a very young padawan Savard, who would end up raising them both as per his dead master's wishes. Savard raised the twins to believe that their parents were great Jedi warriors who had died with honor. Aura never bought it though. And after continually catching Savard in lies, the worst of which being seeing Savard use sith lightning, he quit the order. -- In his travels, he encountered the Lady Nisha. Ever fascinated that she trained under the same man his own father trained under, he opted to join her. Aura has always been a pain in the ass for Nisha, and tested her patience more than a couple times. He's always come through when she's needed him most though. He's probably gotten away with more than anyone. -- Rather recently, Aura trained on Byss with the Sith Master Dominicus. He found out that his sister was basically his own kryptonite, and he tried to kill her by throwing her out of a moving speeder. For whatever reason, the sith saved Sable, and she was infirm for three months, in a coma. She still has major concussion symptoms from time to time.

Mirka Stone- WingstonAge: 68 Gender: Female Rank: Master Jedi Born on Naboo to nobility. It didn't take long for the local Jedi to find her and convince she and her parents that it was a good idea to join the order at the age of five. She is the paternal grandmother of Sable and Aura Wingston. Her life started in the Jedi Temple, where she aspired to be a healer and a doctor. She served the order as such well into her thirties. The order was much smaller then, and the tyranny from Cain's empire proved too much. She was captured. Mirka never had any desire to learn combat, and so she was only shown the most basic lightsaber techniques as a youngling. She was never shown how to use the force as a weapon. The man who captured her was an Imperial Captain by the name of Vincent Wingston. This man made a deal with her, an deal she swore a jedi oath to. She would serve this man for the remainder of his life. In return, he would never report her abilities to the empire, and he would protect her. After one of them died, she would be free. He married her, loved her as best a dim witted soldier could, and gave her a child in the form of Gustoph. She lived a glorified slave's life. She ate well, and lived on whatever vessel Vincent was commanding at the time, so she was always well protected. But her opinion was valued very little, and Vincent would take her whenever he wanted. He wouldn't rape her. He would just order her, and cite their agreement. She would reluctantly agree. During these years, times were humble for the Jedi. She had to heal the enemies of her order. She had to heal her master. A man who wasn't even force sensitive. The best times during these dark days, were when she secretly trained her son. She taught Gustoph everything she knew. How to be a good person, how to detach himself, and her tremendous ability to heal. The abilities he would later show Savard, who would in turn teach Sable. Vincent on the other hand taught Gustoph some very different lessons. How to pilot, how to fire a blaster, how to fight. He also did the morally reprehensible when he forced Gustoph's mother to teach him what she knew about lightsabers. It wasn't much. But his mother's Shii-Cho helped mold Gustoph into the fearsome and confused young man he became. With so much pressure burdening him, he reluctantly joined the Imperial military as at first a soldier, and later a Dark Jedi under the direct training of Cain himself. Vincent would die shortly after seeing his son join the military. Gustoph's mother was a free woman, in theory, at least with regard to the code. She would never speak to Gustoph again though. Not in life anyway. Gustoph along with his newly wed wife Ariana, stood with Malum during the battle of Byss. They stood to the very end of the era. Her message carried through though. In Gustoph's final days, he did the honorable thing, and gave up his new born twins to the Jedi order so that they would not have to live a life of suffering. Aura has always known his father and mother were Sith. Sable still believes they were great Jedi. But both children are right. Gustoph and Arianna Wingston were amazing people who gave up an awful lot. Power, safety, and eventually their lives. Perhaps it's a glass half full or half empty scenario. -- In the years since the empire crumbled, Mirka did escape enemy clutches, and she went to train in isolation until about four years ago. She needed some time to find the force again. She had a number of talks with her son, as well as her daughter in law who she never actually met during the woman's life. Not letting her experiences sour her, or turn into a narcissist was actually her great trial. She explained her entire ordeal to the council four years ago, and she was named a master of the jedi order. And just a couple weeks ago, she was transferred to the Corbenic temple. In her years in the Imperial Military as a slave, she did pick up some useful tips. How to stay in shape, and eat well. She's always been fast and bouncy. But after she returned to Coruscant, the council suggested she attempt to learn how to fight so that she could defend herself. The logic they used was, if she could defend herself, then she could use her expertise in healing, human and alien biology, and medicine, to help others. For the past four years, she has done nothing except for physical training, lightsaber sim battles, and improving her reflexes. Let's just say she's pretty nimble, agile, and youthful looking for a grandmother. She abandoned her married name for two reasons. One, because she never truly loved Vincent. And two, because it allows her to remain anonymous to her grandchildren. She is proud of both of them, despite their very different paths. She saw her only son go down a terrible road, and redeem himself in the end. She has the same faith in Aura.

Tess as a slave to the pirates. Tess Lana Age: 20 Gender: Female Rank: Padawan Tess Lana is a Jedi Padawan who was born in the Senate infirmary on Coruscant. Her adept link with the force was sensed by the jedi there almost immediately, and her mother handed her over. Being a senator, her mother understood the importance of Jedi. She'd been rescued by them on a couple of occasions, and thought that there was no more noble path for her daughter. She, much like Mirka Stone, displayed very little interest in combat aspects of being a Jedi. What Tess saw around her was a world of war and destruction, with soldiers and fellow Jedi who would need to be taken care of. Tess is one of the few lucky Jedi to have been allowed to know her mother after joining the order. It wasn't frequent, but the two would get together once every couple of months and discuss their respective csreers and how the other was doing. Also, Tess' master was assigned to protect Miss Lana on a few occasions, and being his Padawan, Tess was often allowed to join on these mundane missions. Nothing bad ever happened. Senator Lana's brother, Tess' uncle, was a doctor. Senator Lana suggested that Tess request training in something she was interested in, and she and her mother agreed that human biology would be the best path. She took human biology because the majority of Jedi and Republic forces were human. Tess knows more about human bodies than she does about Togruta bodies. -- When Tess was fifteen, she went on her first mission as a full Padawan. Her mission was to provide care for survivors on the Togruta homeworld Shili after pirates got a foot hold there for the slave industry. After finding out that she wasn't a threat, the pirates outnumbered her, and kidnapped her. All being humans, they forced her to train exclusively on her healing, and brush up on her human biology. She would be killed if she fucked with them, so she was forced to learn to do a good and professional job and keep the men in good health. This meager existence lasted four years, and she was beaten, humiliated and raped on almost a daily basis during the last year. Then, a red-eyed angel showed up, and cut down the pirates. The sight of that red lightsaber tearing apart her enemies made Tess smile. Nisha rescued her, after four years of abandonment. Tess has always been sexually attracted to Nisha, admiring her body as "perfection". Unfortunately Nisha doesn't share the same sentiment, and keeps the girl around as a doctor and general medic. Tess is not perfect, but she's the only person with enough talent to get the job done, that Nisha can trust. Tess is upset with the Jedi. With the council, and with her master. They abandoned her. She was only a padawan, and she feels she was never important enough for a rescue mission. -- Overall, despite their betrayal, Tess still has the heart of a Jedi. She's just a little bit messed up in the head from the trauma. Nisha taught her a little bit about fighting so that she could be a valuable asset outside of the med bay. Aura taught her how to handle a lightsaber, and explained how to use her medical skills as a weapon too. She'd never considered that before. Tess has never killed or brutally hurt anyone ever. She tries to dispatch of her enemies in the most painless and humane ways possible. She's a good girl who's been given a rotten hand.
