The Sith Covenant
Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

Affiliated Worlds
Dromund Kaas (Capital): The throne world of the Sith Empire for centuries, Dromund Kaas was reclaimed by the last Emperor, Darth Malum, shortly after his victory over Emperor Ryuu Sartori at the Battle of Byss. Constructing an elaborate palace in the heart of Kaas City as a symbol of Imperial might and presence, Darth Malum ruled over the Empire with an iron fist for nearly a decade before he too was betrayed by an ambitious Sith.
Vjun: Formerly the Capital world for the Sith Covenant before the capture of Dromund Kaas, the world offers little to visitors due to its nearly inhospitable climate. Even so, this harsh world has presented its own advantages in deterring unwanted visitors. Replete with training facilities, a private meditation chamber, and a thorough accounting of the Sith Archives from the former Imperial Palace on Dromund Kaas.
Korriban: Abandoned, but not forgotten, Korriban will always be a place of corruption and power for the Sith. The Republic has kept a close eye on the old institutions of the Empire in the years following the Sith Civil War, Korriban most of all. Though technically now a Republic holding, Korriban is still a world frequented by Sith and Dark Jedi alike.
Dark Jedi Rankings
There is an important distinction to be made between a "Dark Jedi" and a "Sith". Dark Jedi are exactly what their name implies, Jedi who have fallen to the dark side, or unaffiliated dark force users. For this reason, a Dark Jedi's rankings will match that of the Jedi, simply gaining the title "Dark". Dark Jedi Padawan, Dark Jedi Knight, Dark Jedi Guardian, etc. If your character was at one point a Jedi, consult the Jedi Character Guide to see what the requirements are for their ranks.
Sith Rankings
The Sith are far different from their Jedi counterparts when it comes to the regimenting of ranks, and when it comes to advancing in rank. Whereas the tests to become a full Jedi, or "Jedi Knight" are a uniform set of trials, the rites required to become a full Sith are more ambiguous "Acts of Worth". What defines an act of worth is dependent entirely on the Sith Master instructing the Acolytes, and as such you will have a good deal of leeway in this when it comes to your own characters. Generally an Act of Worth is something that shows an understanding of the Code of the Sith, or Sith philosophy in general (Deceiving or manipulating others, eliminating competition, demonstrating power/knowledge/skill, etc.)
Acolyte - Any new member of the Sith Covenant, regardless of previous rank with other factions, is considered a Sith Acolyte. An Acolyte is the lowest rank among the Sith, and is a title given to those who have not yet achieved enough "Worth" to be considered a full member of the Covenant. There is no age range for a typical Acolyte, as the Sith are not concerned with the age of their recruits, unlike the Jedi. One could be an Acolyte for as few as a few weeks and as long as their entire lives, it all depended on how quickly they could prove their worth.
Due to the shortage of Sith Masters following the Sith Civil War, most Acolytes share a Master with several other aspiring students. The Master teaches the Acolytes about the Force, how to use a lightsaber, and Sith philosophy among other things. During their instruction, the Sith Masters are constantly vigilant, watching their students to see who might merit an "Act of Worth". When one student has demonstrated worth above and beyond his peers, he typically is the one to be chosen to become a full Sith. It is not uncommon for those chosen from these "classes" of five to ten Acolytes to be one of, if not the only survivor.
Sith - Once one completed the cruel gauntlet that was training under the Sith Masters, these select few would be dubbed "Sith". There are several fields of specialization among those who become Sith. They are as follows:
Sith Marauder - Marauders are the front line warriors of the Sith Covenant. Sith Marauders focus on combat training and the overpowering of their opponents, as such, Marauders typically have superior lightsaber skills, but below average Force abilities.
Sith Inquisitor - The Inquisitors were Sith who focused more on mastery of the dark side and Sith philosophy then on actual combat. Inquisitors were typically deadly with the Force, but their lightsaber skills would be considerably lacking.
Sith Assassin - The Assassins were those among the Sith who utilized skill in combat and in the Force in order to become ruthlessly efficient killers. Assassins tended to be talented in the Force and with lightsabers, but not to excel with either. Assassins were also skilled in stealth, and often acted as the Sentinels of the Sith Covenant, locating and eliminating high priority targets.
Sith Lord - In the Sith Covenant, only the Lords of the Sith were given the title "Darth". Sith Lord IS NOT a rank you can include in your profile. It is a rank that must be earned through role playing. The title Darth was given only to the most powerful members of the Covenant and would mean that you held a seat on the Sith Council.
The Dark Lord of the Sith - This title belonged to the most powerful among the Sith who ruled over the Covenant. The only way to gain this title would be to kill the reigning Dark Lord and wrest the mantle from them. Obviously this too is a title that can only be earned through role playing.
