The question would then become can one hide their force powers. Is it a way to surpress it I'm not exactly sure so I'm thinking the whole thing about someone "surpressing" their force power becomes a moot point.
However, what Mik said does make a lot of sense.

I would like to bring to the table this little tidbit of information for those of you to see. While you could technically say, ooh, I sense your power level, and it is ..., that doesn't make it that. I have read, and been told, many times, that the stats you have on your bio are not set in stone. it doesn't say that person A, who has 50 telekenisis, and 50 channel, can't do shit to a guy with 80 telekenisis, and 90 channel. it just means that person B is more knowlegable in the force than person A. This being said, you'd pretty much have to have everyone in the site either throwing a number for this into their profile, or something similar. I personally think if this is a real idea, you will need to decide how we decide whta someones power level is, and the like, since I don't see person A saying, I have a power of over 3000, and eveyone agreeing with it. and with that, back to work.

I happen to concur with this point, we need to figure out how it would be decided, and fairly cause someone with low force numbers would not have 1,500 reading. as it stands i have no ideas on how this should be but if i think of something i shall post it.

Well lets say we come up with what 100 in said stats would actually be, once we've determined what that number is we can use a percentage for the others. I.E. if 100 equals a person power level being 3000 then a 50 would be 1500, of course this is if this idea really goes through, I don't think anyone noticed I called it my joke idea...XD

I had noticed that, but had considered treating it seriously to transform it into a real one...so yeah.

Oh feel free you can use what I got as a start off point, I think it would require alot more detail then this 10 minute post I came up with though, dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Scouters there's info on scouters if you need it

What Mik is saying is that, with this addition to the scouter it would also look for...a heart beat and what not to identify a living breathing being to, as he put it, a blade of grass since the force flows through everything. As for the hiding thing like Gohan and the like did, i don't know if it would work the same way with this scouter considering the Ki energy, i dunno exactly how it was measured with the DBZ scouters, but i don't think they were biological, while Midi-chlorians are something found in the body therefore they can not be hidden, or so i would think. Perhaps if used from a distance to locate these force sensitives and they known how to hide it would work, but when in direct sight i do not believe it would. And on another note the only two ways i know of concealing ones force presence would be. A) Sith magic which is mostly dead in this era. Or B) to "blend" In with it as Jacen Solo was able to do, essentially hiding within the force itself so he could not be detected. What about Force concealment? Traya used this on a regular basis, and I suspect the Sith Triumvirate's assassins must have used it to a degree to hunt their prey. Luke Skywalker, Obi-wan Kenobi, Yoda, and the Baran Do all used the ability in addition to dark siders like Vergere and Palpatine, so it wouldn't fall under Sith magic.

Time for a breath of reality (or a buzzkill depending on how you look at it). This idea is stupid... powerfully so in fact. Drake, I'm sure you're already aware of this xD. For any of you who took this seriously... I worry about you. That is all.

We have a Jedi master based on Zordon from the power rangers.
A Jedi based off of a Transformer
an evil AI robot based off of a Transformer.
Most of the fights on this site can easily be translated into DBZ episodes anyway.
He proposed the dragon balls on the old site and everyone liked them.
we've got marvel characters, anime characters, movie characters. Space ships from star wars, star trek, stargate battle star galactica.
We'e got people sensing others through the force down to knowledge of their exact location and a single person changing the weather of an entire planet.
we've effed with the timeline so much that its not even fair to call this a star wars site anymore.
people who like the prequals better than the original unedited trilogy.
people who've actually watched the CGI Clone Wars show and not puked.
Iron Man armor, Starship troopers armor, Starcraft armor.
ninja robots
and out of all that, you stop here and say this is a stupid idea.... I find that very interesting.

Well my next idea is going to be a real kicker...evil clay men with giant Z's on their chest that speak in mumble jumble and fight in perfect karate coordination.
Guess where their weak spot is
