Ignore the links at the bottom. i plan on using one or all of them for something i just want to keep track of the links.
Name: Brock
Species: Human/Cyborg
Age: 53
Sex: Male
Height/Weight: 6’ 5” 423 Pounds
Appearance: Brock is tall and heavy but his weight as actually much greater than what you would guess. All his cybernetic implants within his body and his robotic right arm weigh considerably.
His hair used to be brown but has turned gray a long time ago. His level of activity is impressive for someone his age but frequent kolto and later bacta injections have pushed back old age for him and the extent of his cybernetics make up for any physical weaknesses his body has developed. He looks a little younger than his true age and his body is as fit as someone in their 30’s.
Personality: Brock has a serious temper problem and when that’s combined with his impressive physical strength it leads to bad things. He gets frustrated and angry easily but when he isn’t outraged at something he can be generally likeable. He laughs and jokes like most normal people.
He has very low intelligence when it comes to intellectual things like philosophy or science. Instead his intelligence is applied to mostly practical things like construction or fighting. He can barely read at a 5th grade level and his writing ability is weaker than that. He prefers to do things face to face with speech.
He has no loyalty to any group or organization that doesn’t pay him but he can develop a very deep loyalty to an individual.
He is psychologically addicted to bacta and awfully close to being addicted to cybernetic surgery. He enjoys upgrading his body and pushing the limits of what he can do through robotics.
Character Rank: He’s a freelance merc.
Special Skills:
Heavy Weapons: Brock has been trained in the use of heavy weapons by the old republic military. He can operate and maintain explosive launchers, heavy repeaters, grenades, emplaced weapons, vehicle mounted turrets and even some large melee weapons.
Cybernetic Senses: Brock’s eyes and ears are cybernetic or have cybernetic implants attached. He can see into the infrared and ultra violet spectrums at will and his ears have implants that upped his hearing sensitivity while also protecting his ears from damaging loud noises. One of the more interesting abilities he’s developed is the ability to sense wireless networks. His spinal cord implant jacks directly into computer interfaces via cable, but it does have a wireless sensor which allows Brock to tell when he is within range of a wireless network. It’s not information he can really use since he isn’t computer savvy at all but just an interesting thing he’s discovered he can do.

Bio: Brock’s life began as Project 2181511. He was a test tube baby produced by Dr. White and his team as a prelude to the Mr. Blue project. His genetics were gathered from multiple sources and spliced in order to make him a perfect specimen for accepting cybernetics.
2181511 was considered a success. He was grown to the biological age of 10 and then given some minor cybernetics implanted such as a cochlear implant which enhanced his hearing and allowed him to listen in on com signals tuned to him. Other implants included a neural net system throughout his body to make future cybernetic limb replacements easier and a bio chip in his spinal cord to enhance reaction time and regulate bodily functions. He took these implants with great success, showing not even the slightest sign of rejection.
Being deemed a success and all pertinent information gleaned, he was abandoned in THE PEARL when the facility was evacuated and self destructed. The section of the facility with his stasis pod floated to the surface of Mon Calamari where he was picked up by a salvage team which had picked up the large metal debris on their sensor and thought it was a quick buck.
2181511 couldn’t even speak basic at the time so he was placed in an orphanage for troubled youngsters. His childhood was marred by violent outbursts due to his frustration at being so behind all the other kids. Even in a school devoted to troubled children of various kinds, most of them could speak to one another while he had to learn to speak to communicate. He did poorly in class and preferred things like working out or playing sports in the gym. He took the name Brock and joined the republic army as soon as he turned 18.
He just barely passed the entrance exam even though it was designed for people with a 5th grade reading level but once he was in boot camp he felt he was in his element. The highly structured and scheduled life of boot camp made sure he was on track all the time. He did what he was told and learned things like marksmanship and how to strip a weapon better than most in his class. Generally he did poor at intellectual things like history but did very well in practical things like meeting physical standards and manual labor.
When he got to his first unit, he was one of the most squared away people there even though he was probably the least intelligent. After a year at his unit seeing no action, Brock volunteered for a Republic Military experimentation program. The program was looking for volunteers to submit to testing and receiving possible cybernetic implants. Brock was their best subject since the artificial neural network implant allowed him to take cybernetics much more easily and efficiently.
He received cybernetic upgrades to his joints which reduces the strain put on his muscles and bones and allowed him to carry more for longer without causing potential long term harm to his bone structure. His shoulders, hips, elbows, knees and spine were reinforced with titanium support struts in order to take some of the load off his bones.
He was one of the programs few successes and he entered a new unit of specialized soldiers who had gone through the same or similar cybernetic treatments. He trained with this group as a heavy weapons specialist. He excelled in the use of explosive launchers and heavy repeating blasters.
The only action this unit saw was during the transition from Republic to Empire. His unit was dispatched to fight Republic loyalists on Chandrilla. Brock himself killed 5 and was wounded by a grenade explosion. The attack however was a victory for the empire and Brock was medivaced out. Serious Kolot treatment was used on his wounds and he required regular kolto injections afterwards for a few weeks to fully recover. It was during this time that he became psychologically addicted to kolto. He enjoyed the feeling of health it gave him after taking it and he burned through his treatment supply quickly. To replenish his supply, he stole from the supply warehouse in small amounts to keep from drawing attention. Eventually he also began hitting up dealers in the civilian world for extra supplies of Kolto.
Life in the empire was exceedingly dull and he eventually transferred out of his “cyborg” unit and into the regular infantry. He was used as a disposable trooper like all the rest and he saw a lot more action fighting rebels and dissidents. He stacked up quite a body count and earned a reputation as a particularly aggressive and vicious fighter. His temper got the best of him often on the battlefield and his commanders would find that he had broken cover and began a charge all by himself purely because he was so angry at the enemy. He began collecting stacks of reprimands from his commanders because of this.
It didn’t matter in the long run however because eventually he got medically discharged. He was wounded again in battle, this time his right arm had been shot by a blaster. The Imperial military got him healed, put him on a bacta treatment plan and then discharged him from active duty because he had diminished use of his right hand.
He switched from a kolto addiction to a bacta addiction and joined the civilian world. He had a great difficulty adjusting and found it nearly impossible to get a job given that he had barely a 5th grade reading level. He worked several low end jobs and eventually found himself hired as a mercenary in the Ranger PMC. The Rangers gave him a new cybernetic replacement for his right forearm which had been damaged and he continued in his use of heavy weapons.
He got put on security duty, protecting people and objects from theft or general attack. He rode in the back of armored speeders protecting money exchanges or valuable goods. The Rangers paid him well and he managed to keep up his bacta injection habit as well as steal here and there from the customs he was supposed to be protecting from theft. He permanently ended his employment with the Rangers when he knocked out the drivers of the armored speeder he was supposed to be protecting and stole the truck and all it’s contents.
The truck and what was inside fenced for just shy of 25 million credits. Brock got a 10% finders fee of 2,500,000 credits. He spent his money purchasing more cybernetics and bacta. Some would say he was addicted to cybernetic surgery but to him it was more like how some people would get tattoos. He would get a new implant and then after a while get bored with the ones he had and get another new one.
He got both his eyes replaced with robotic ones that can scan across multiple spectrums. A brain implant which translates the signals from his eyes into something his brain can read. He got his entire right arm replaced with an oversized, armored robotic arm. His robotic arm was attached to additional support structures attached to his right shoulder and his spine was practically replaced with a metal version of it. He got strength enhancements in his knees and hips as well as his left arm. His brain stem implant was upgraded so that it linked to all his cybernetic parts to regulate them and had an external data plug so he could tie it directly into a computer for software upgrades.
His most recent implant is a bacta injector mounted against the bone in his right thigh. It injects him regularly with doses of bacta while also closely monitoring his bloodstream to prevent poisonous levels to build up in his system. The implant is replenished by injecting bacta into it via syringe.
After “retiring” from the Ranger PMC’s service, he now hires himself out as a freelance mercenary. His weapon of choice is a heavy repeating blaster of his own design that he constructed out of parts from lesser repeating blasters.

Personal Items
Heavy Blaster Pistol
A heavy blaster pistol developed by General Synthetics. It fires powerful blasts of energy that explode on contact.
Vibrosword (Bianca)
Bianca is an old, traditional sword that was later converted into a vibrosword. Its a 4 1/2 foot long sword and Brock usually carries it unsheathed on his back. He uses it in close quarters or when he just feels the urge to kill something with a sword.
ol'painless
Ol'Painless is a custom built, heavy repeating blaster. Brock built it with some help using parts from several repeating blasters. It is essentially several repeaters welded together and rigged to fire in sequence. The rate of fire is increased dramatically from just a single repeater. Once it's fully charged and ready to go it can fire just shy of 1,200 rounds per minute and the level of power remains constant longer. It requires a large power pack be worn by Brock in order to keep the weapon powered and it still can only be fired for 30-40 seconds straight before needing a new power cell.
