Bio:
Katarina's story starts with her mother, Kyllie Blythe, a 17 year old slave girl of Kyoto The Hutt on Tatooine. She worked as a pleasure slave, often rented out to the highest bidder. It was during one of these "jobs" with a wealthy Human male that Katarina was conceived.
After birth, Kat was raised in Kyoto's Palace by her mother and the other slave girls since they all shared living quarters. As she grew up, Katarina learned the ways of the Galaxy far younger than anyone should ever have to. She witnessed her mother and the other slaves forced to perform, even seeing some of them killed in various ways.
Throughout her childhood, Kat used to enjoy playing with anything electronic that she could get her hands on in the palace, whether it was a Datapadd or a Mouse Droid. She used to take them apart and put them back together, some times better than they were in the first place.
Her mother used to tell Kat the importance of agreeing to get what she wanted. This would be the beginning of her learning how to seduce her targets. Unfortunately, Katarina's mother wouldn't live long enough to teach her much more...
When she was just ten years old, Katarina was forced to go to a party with her mother. The party was for a very rich gangster from another planet and it was held on his luxury star yacht... all of Kyoto's girls were the entertainment. This was Katarina's first taste of space and she was enthralled by it... at least for a few hours.
Midway through the party, pirates attacked the yacht in orbit of Geonosis. As the yacht was damaged, Kat's mother rushed her into one of the few escape pods and launched Katarina into space, alone. The young girl watched in horror through the viewport of the pod as the yacht was destroyed, killing everyone onboard, even her mom.
Ten years old, stranded on one of the harshest planets in the Galaxy, Katarina learned to survive. She spent several weeks living in the wreckage of the escape pod, eating the emergency rations and anything else she could find, until she was found by the Geonosians. She was happy to be found, but they quickly forced her into slavery as well.
Two years passed by, and Katarina managed to survive the enslavement by the Geonosians. She had to clean the gladiatorial arena of body parts every day, a task which hardened her to death and blood quite quickly. The gladiatorial games also awakened an interest in violence for the young girl. When she was not working, or supposed to be sleeping, Katarina started to exercise and practice mimicking things she had seen during the fights.
Two more years passed, Katarina was fourteen years old. Her slave duties had been expanded to include seeing to the fighters before they fought as well as taking care of their weapons because she had never tried to escape or anything. In truth, she had been planning and biding her time. Her body had quickly sprouted into that of a young adult as well, incredibly trimmed and fit.
Her time finally came when there was a female tournament. One of the competitors, a very petite redhead gunslinger under the name Crimson, was assigned to Katarina to take care of. Crimson advanced to the finals of the tournament, befriending Kat on the way and even beginning to teach her how to use a blaster. Just as usual, Katarina met her in her chambers early on the morning of the final fight.
That was when Katarina was surprised by Crimson. "If I win you're my prize instead of the credits..." Crimson told her before she left for the battle. Of course, Crimson won and Kat was taken as a trophy, albeit she was much more than that in a few years.
Kat and Crimson quickly became good friends. Crimson took care of her and trained Kat to use blasters as well as pilot a starship. Over the next few years, Kat learned that Crimson was a mercenary and an assassin and she started to learn the trade as well. In exchange, as always, Kat took care of Crimson in anyway she could.
Eighteen years old and now Crim's lover, Kat was blossoming into a very proficient blaster shot. Her love for technology remained and she had started to tinker with their starship in her spare time, an armed freighter that Crimson had stolen from a target. Kat learned whatever she could about slicing from passerbys, in cantinas and gaming parlors which they frequented.
By the time she was twenty, Katarina had learned enough to bypass simple security systems and tweak droid programming. Her blaster skills were also approaching master levels. She had even surpassed Crimson due to her smaller frame. Her life was finally going quite well and Katarina was happy... until the night of her twenty first birthday.
Katarina was planning on a nice romantic evening with Crimson, but when she stepped into their small apartment on Naboo the scent of blood greeted her nose. Kat rushed to their bedroom to find Crimson murdered... stabbed to death. Tears overwhelmed Kat as she cradled the body of her best friend and lover...
That was when the killer stepped from the closet and charged Kat with a vibrosword. She barely avoided the attack and wrestled the attacker to the ground, when she recognized her as the same girl Crimson beat in the tournament six years prior. Flying into a rage, Katarina grabbed Crimson's blaster from the bed and got her first taste of killing... a taste she would learn to savor.
Katarina took Crimson's weapons, armor, and ship and she quickly embarked on her own. She renamed the ship in memory of her murdered lover, the Crimson Heart. In need of money, Kat started to work as a Bounty Hunter, a job she quickly excelled at thanks to the training of Crimson as well as her life as a slave.
She did this for three years, racking up sixty nine kills, having a very small heart tattooed on her body for each kill... a way to immortalize Crimson in her mind.
Finally, at twenty five years old, Katarina Blythe decided to seek a Bounty Hunting contract with the highest bidder, a group of Pirates and Smugglers. She served with the group for only two years before they were nearly wiped out. During this short time, she became quite skilled at flying the Darkslicer and she found herself the Captain of a ragtag group of fighters.
Having intercepted the transmissions of the Empire, the Pirates decided to lay a trap for them. They converted a cargo transport to hold a squadron of Darkslicers in vertical racks. and then they waited. The trap worked perfectly, but Katarina never thought a Sith would be in the enemy squad. Her entire squad was eliminated, and Kat was abandoned by the Pirates. Her fighter was hit, and she crashed into the surface of a swamp planet inhabited by strange beings known as Gungans - Naboo.
It took time, but Kat eventually befriended the Gungans -- at least a small tribe of them. For several years, she lived among them and explored a portion of Naboo. That was when the tribe she lived with found a pair of Narglatch cubs. The male had been killed by the time Katarina got to the scene, but after some pleading Kat convinced the tribe to let her keep the female. She took the cub as a pet and named her Calypso.
Kat also realized that she would have to leave the planet soon. A civil war was brewing between the Gungans and she didn't want to be caught in the middle. So, she used Gungan technology to repair her crashed fighter, rigging up the engine to run on Gungan "goo." She knew the ship wouldn't get far, but it would hopefully be enough to get to an inhabited planet. So, Katarina left the planet with the Narglatch in her lap.
The small, patched up fighter was enough to reach a civilized planet and from there Kat managed to hitchhike back to the Core, where she settled on the planet Kuat in one of its more rural areas on the water. From then, her life has been rather uneventful, training Calypso as a mount and doing small jobs for local Smugglers...
