Bio:
Early LifeNabooian born, Jay was born to a bodyguard to a senator and his wife, who worked with Naboo's intelligence., their names being Laore (father) and Jill (mother). He was shown his way around the blaster at a young age. Jay's mother had more time to dedicate to the child, and he was occationally brought to work with her, and was able to learn the basics of a computer by the time he was five. Of course, by basics, he knew how to access the web and type slowly.
Jay also was a good shot, when his father had time to spend with him. It was normally about a week a month, sometimes more if the senator didn't have anything planned for a while, and allowed his men some breaks. Jay was taken on hunting parties, and was given a low powered blaster rifle, which he scored his first kill with. Dinner, to the young child, never seemed so good.
Of course, he didn't learn everything from his father. Every day after school, he would go to a shooting club, where kids learned how to hunt and/or play skeet and other marksman games. This is what really gave him his skill, but spending time with his dad made sure he knew the skills like the back of his hand.
In school, Jay took as many technological and computer classes as he could, and was a prime student in these. He was also a motivated gunman, and by the time he was ten, he was a world class shooter in his age class.
Jay was always friendly with people, and had quite a few friends. They weren't all geeky gamers and computer nerds either. Some were good at sports of had other skills that kept them in shape, which Jay found interesting, and the games he played were useful in keeping him in shape as well.
Jay was 14 when he began searching for a new hobby, which turned out to be studying old military tactics. He had his history teacher help him out, and he became knowledgeable about how old military's won and lost battles and wars.
He would watch old historical documentaries on the wars of old, and studied different, interesting battles. Simple things like flanking and lift-and-shift fire weren't too hard to comprehend. This habit got him interested in strategy games, and used what he watched in the documentaries in these games.
Jay was 17 when he graduated High School, and was contacted by Cerberus Corps to work for them as a computer technician. Of course, he accepted, as it gave him great pay and a sure future. As well as working with computers, he spent much of his free time down range, and took up a second job within Cerberus as one of its military personal.
Jay would go on a number of small missions with other people of a higher rank, and was shown more in depth on small team tactics. He became trusted before he was 19 to do what he was told without question and to the best of his abilities, which, more or less, led to success.
First true mission: Jay was 19 when he was sent on a bodyguard mission. He was to simply escort a lower end designer, who was to put the finishing touches on a project that was nearly finished. Jay was to meet this person on Dantooine, but things went right down the drain as soon as he landed.
He found the complex in ruins, flames still licking the ground. With caution, he proceeded into the complex to see if he could find any survivors. He did, but they were not what he expected. They seemed like mercs hired to attack and raid this place. Jay took a flash bang grenade and lobbed it at the only two mercs he saw at the end of a hallway, and ducked behind his side, covering his ears. As soon as it went off, he attacked, throwing a frag grenade and laying down blaster fire.
He ducked behind a second doorway just before the grenade went off, hearing the pinging of shrapnel bouncing off the walls. He peaked around the corner to see who was left alive, and saw nothing but bloody corpses. He proceeded quickly now, searching every room he came to. He found no one, be it a survivor or a merc.
Finally, after nearly a half hour of searching, he heard voices. It was coming from an open door off to his right. He peaked around carefully, seeing four mercs standing over two women in white lab coats. Jay primed a flash bang grenade, then tossed it. It would disorientate everyone in the room, which would play well for Jay. After it went off, he waited three seconds for the light to die down, then rushed in, blowing away the mercs. He waited for the women to at least get their vision back before motioning them to fallow him. He took them back to his ship before returning to the base.
He swept the base for any more survivors, but found none. He was lucky enough to find the body of the designer he was suppose to escort. He left the body where it was, and called in to the main HQ on Bestine IV about the attack. He would be back on that planet by the time they arrived on Dantooine,
Climbing the ranks: After landing, and finally getting some sleep, Jay was debriefed on the mission. He learned that the two women he saved were the assistance to the man he was suppose to pick up. The mission was considered a failure because the target man nor his data could be recovered. Jay's friends told him not to take it too hard, as there would be failed missions.
Jay was sent on numerous simpler missions for the next couple of years, occasionally taking time off to play with computers. Most of his time was spent at the firing range, honing his skills, and keeping them razor sharp. Jay was also seen in combative classes, keeping his body in its physical top shape, which was a main focus with his job in Cerberus.
One of the missions including him going on a lightly guarded convoy down a route that was known to have pirates that raided their ships. Jay hid inside a crate when the attack came, and was taken onto the pirate's ship. There, he planted a beacon, stole a fighter, and ran off. The ship led Cerberus to the Pirate base, where it was destroyed.
Other common missions were to find different pirate bases, escort missions, and even one was to gain information about the Black Market setting up somewhere on Bestine IV. The majority of these missions were successful.
At the age of 24, he was given a leadership of a small section of troopers, seven total, and did larger missions, but was known to go lone wolf for information gathering. Cerberus wouldn't have been able to progress as far as it had without technology and information pirates.
At the age of 26, Cerberus came under the attack of the Empire. With the help of some Mandalorians and the private military called the Black Knights, they defeated the empire. Zora Octavarium let Jay join up with them, where he became a valuable member.
Jay tried hard to fit in with the rest of the Black Knights, most of whom were senior members who have been around sense before Captain Cutter retired and John Forge was alive. Jay strived to learn as much as he could, and would advise the younger man who was his "boss" on a number of things. The young man did know his stuff, though.
For a couple of months, they spent much of their time outside beyond the outer rim territories. Jay and Gray spent much time together, be it on a mission somewhere, or on the bridge of a ship. They became good friends, and helped each other out constantly.
Pirates and other things were their target, trying to raid their bases for supplies. They did quite well, and Gray came to trust Jay almost as much as he trusted Shina Hikari.
Jay would often go with Gray on raids against pirate bases, and proved his worth in combat alongside the commander. Of course, with a massive ship such as Solrain fighting didn't often erupt when the ship was in the same system.
During one of the missions, which was more covert, Miki hawke and Akira Rumo, both of whom Gray cared deeply for, were nearly killed by a massive beast of an alien. With 'help' from a sith, Gray killed the alien, and took the sith with them.
They made their way to known space, where the Federation drove off the sith and took posession of the Solrain. They were given a smaller revenant cruiser as a replacement, which Shina took command of. Jay, once again, was the ground troop commander. Gray went off on a mission of revenge, and by the time Jay was able to find him, he learned that the sith, as well as Shina, were dead, and Gray was changed.
Gray forfeited ownership of the Black Knights and went into hiding. Without anyone to guide them, the Black Knights almost fell apart, until Jay took over. He brought the entire group to Naboo, where they once held a base, and with some advisors, gained full power and became the new leader of the Black Knights, but he wanted something more out of them.
Jay took the Black Knights, called in some favors, and paid certain people for certain things, and created the new faction known as the Phantom Cell. With him and a staff of advisors, he hopes to help people plagued by the war, and do what he can for whoever needs it.
