Age: You characters age. Make sure this is realistic for the kind of character you're creating.
Sex: Character's gender.
Height/Weight: Character height and weight, preferably given in feet ('), inches (") and pounds (lbs).
Species: Your character's race, which on BHOD includes just about every canon species found in the Star Wars universe, with a few exceptions.
Title: Your character's title, such as Padawan, Knight, Master, Sith Lord, etc.
Appearance: A brief description of you character's appearance. May also be accompanied by an image. (No canon characters).
Personal Items: Keep a list of the items your character carries with them here. Do keep in mind that some items may be restricted, or may need to be obtain through role playing.
Starship: Each character is allowed one personal starship. You may choose from the list, or if you wish you may use a custom ship should you have it approved first in the New Ideas board.
Starship List
Force Powers: Keep track of the Force Powers your character knows here. Every character starts with three Powers from the Force Powers Index. Make sure you have the required Force stats before you request a Power.
The Powers Telekinesis and Force Sense are free to all Force Users and do not count against Power totals.
Skills: Keep track of the Skills your character knows here. Every character starts with three Skills from the Skill Index. Make sure you have the required stats before you request a Skill.
The Lightsaber Form Shii-Cho is free to all Force Users and does not count against Skill or Lightsaber Form totals.
Bio: A brief description of your character's life. Generally the thing to remember here is modesty. The kind of bios that will not be approved are those that involve convoluted plot lines and over powered rhetoric. This is your chance to make a good first impression with your RP ability.
For your character's stats, the points you'll have to divide amongst each stat category will depend on the class you chose (scroll back up to see exactly what those numbers are). Bonuses from Skills or Force Powers should not be included in your calculations here unless they're listed as PERMANENT.
Base Stats
Strength: A character's physical power. This stat generally is used with melee weapons and lightsaber combat. This stat is most useful to Guardians and Soldiers.
Speed: Your character's quickness of movement. An important stat for determining how agile a character is. (Important to keep in mind that a high stat in this does not mean you can automatically dodge everything done by a character with a lower stat).
Stamina: This isn't just how much punishment your character can take, but also how long they can dish it out. Just like in real life, characters get tired from fighting. Stamina gauges just how long they should be able to stay in the game.
Force Stats
Control: The first area of the Force most younglings are taught, Control is the mastery of the Force within one's self. The powers that this stat govern are generally those that effect the user, such as Heal, Valor or Force Speed.
Sense: The next realm of the Force is Sense. This stat is the mastery of the Force outside of and around the user. The powers that fall under Sense are generally those that involve manipulating the Force in others or feeling the Force in the environment around you. This includes powers such as Force Empathy, Force Sight, and Jedi Mind Tricks.
Alter: The final and most complicated school is perhaps the most recognizable. Atler involves the manipulation of the Force's energies into unique powers and applications. This includes things like Telekinesis, Lightning, and Force Barrier.
Combat Stats
Lightsaber: The user's overall skill with a Lightsaber is determined by this stat. In order to use specific forms, character's will need to learn them in the form of Skills.
Unarmed: Hand to hand combat with fists, feet, and whatever other appendages your character may have at their disposal. Skill in this stat generally implies knowledge of some type of martial art above and beyond simple Strength, Speed and Stamina.
Melee: The ability to use swords, vibroblades, knives, staffs, and any other kind of melee weapon is governed by this stat. This stat DOES NOT, however, have any affect on the use of lightsabers. A high value implies increased skill beyond those granted by the base stats.
Range: Finally, the Range stat determines a character's skill with blasters, grenades, flamethrowers, and all other weapons that attack over a distance.
