Name: Sora
Class:Guardian
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Height/Weight: 5'9" 145 lbs
Species: Firrerreo/Human hybrid.
Appearance:
Sora is just over average height for a female with a slender yet powerful build. She has brown hair, which seems to change between two different shades depending on how the lighting is, natural tanned skin, and bright blue eyes. Her clothes show off her favorite color: Red. They usually consist of tight, unrestricted outfits. These show off her defined body, and Sora isn't above using her looks to help her out in any situation.
These outfits normally consists of a tight red shirt; sleeveless, red and black pants, and, you guessed it, red and black boots boots. She also wears a pair of red and black gloves. Her hair is normally left down, but it can occasionally seen up in a nice ponytail.
Her hair is usually left long, reaching down to the bottom of her shoulder blades. She has large, expressive eyes and more often than not has a smile on her face. Sora had a nicititating membrane for her eyes, which does enable her to see UV lighting. The developed canine teeth that the Firrerreo have, Sora also has, but are slightly smaller than a Firerreo. She has no scars, thanks to her quick healing. When startled or surprised, her skin pales out, not turning full silver, but taking on a hue close to it.
Sora has a well defined body: A well muscled core, arms, and legs, which has come from her training sense she was a wee child. While not the strongest person, she takes pride in her speed, using that, and her martial arts, to defeat opponents at close range.
Personality: Sora is, in a nutshell, tomboyish, fiery, spontaneous, tough, impatient, headstrong, sarcastic, and assertive: she seems more like a rowdy teenager rather than a grown woman, but her biology shows here to be just that. She is never one to hold back what's in her mind, and has a hard time controlling her emotions.
Sora isn't very ladylike most of the time, usually acting like 'one of the boys' and generally not giving a damn about what people think about her. She has an easy time mingling with anyone, and always does what she feels is right. It may not always be what most people would want, but more often than not, it pays off in the end.
Sora is particularly aggressive against people she likes, such as her traveling partner, Bit, who she harbors feelings for. She gets very jealous when he starts hitting on other women, and she has a habit of wailing on him, and always seems to know when he is about to, or is, hitting on a woman.
Sora as a few deep rooted fears. These fears are needles and the underside of shellfish, such as lobsters. If either of these are within her view, and relatively close, she will immediately hide behind the nearest solid object, such as a wall or a person. If she comes into contact, she will freeze up and burst into tears, or, if antagonized enough, outright faint.
Sora suffers from PTSD, which started its development when she was in her young adulthood. She had a small fear of attachment to another, but after she forms an attachment, she fears loosing it. She also has a extremely hard expressing her true feelings to someone she cares for. She suffers from occasional nightmares of what causes her PTSD, and at least twice a week, Sora doesn't sleep at night. Though rarely, she will get stricken hard by her past, hide somewhere, and just cry.

Bio: ((Early Life))
Sora never knew her mother: not even a simple name. For years, only Sora's father, alone, raised the child. Sora's father, a full blooded Firrerreo named Juro. He was hundreds of years old: a knight during the time of Revan and Malak, and studied many things during his years as a Jedi, and even his short time as a member of the Sith. After they fell, he traveled around the galaxy, living with many different cultures. Once Sora was born, he was ready to settle down and mold the child.
Sora was born on Corellia, where she spent the first few years of her life. They lived in the cold, northern regions of Corellia, surviving off of what Juro brought in. His skills ensured that they would never go hungry. Once a month, Juro would leave for a day to go to the nearest settlement to trade for things they couldn't make or capture. He chose up here because it was secluded.
Around the age of 6, Juro began training Sora. He never bothered to go over what would normally go into a Jedi's training, save for the basics which would allow the child to use the force. Since this young age, Juro instilled sharp discipline in Sora, making both her mind and body shark
Between the ages of 6 and 10, Sora learned, martial arts, how to handle a blaster and melee weapons, and finally basic literature. Not very often, Juro had Sora train with a lightsaber, which Sora didn't know the history behind, Her father never bothered to tell her exactly where it came from. It was quite unique, and Juro said that you would be hard pressed to see one like this in the current era of things.
Also during this phase of Sora's life was learning literature. Hours were cut from the normal training regime so that the girl would be able to learn how to properly read and write. After she had these skills, which took her months to get down, she was still forced to take at least an hour to review, and work on these skills.
The training was difficult, but not overly so. As Sora grew older, the training grew tougher with her. The cold bitter air burned day after day, but Sora was happy, because she was always with her father, despite his hardness. Looking back, Sora wished that she had a real childhood, rather than the one her father put her through, but she never regretted it.
((Hell and Heaven of Tatooine))
At the age of 10, Juro and Sora left Corellia, heading to the distant planet Tatooine for reasons unknown to her. The landscape was a shock to the girl, as she was use to seeing a cold, snowy forest her entire life. Juro told her that she would need to get use to a multitude of environments, as well as learn how to communicate and blend in with other people, but she never really believed him about that.
Juro didn't immediately take Sora to any of the larger settlements, but started her off in smaller settlements, so she could get a look at how people lived in a desert settling. At first she was nervous about it, but as time went on, she grew use to these visits, and eventually those to the larger cities on the planet.
Juro kept Sora's training her body and mind, forcing her to improve herself. Her abilities in the force were improving quickly. Even at the bare age of 11, Sora was able to move a decent quality of sand in a fluid motion, it mirroring her martial art movement, and essentially making it an extension of herself, like a sword to a swordsman.
For two years, until Sora was 12, she just worked her body enough to keep her physical powers sustained; instead, her father worked her hard mentally, with meditation. This was a good time in life for Sora to learn about the force. Weeks went by without much notice to the two: Sora slept when told to; ate when told to, and overall became a simple, near-mindless working machine.
Sword training became a daily activity, and Sora was forced to train fast and hard, as if she failed to memorize a particular move, she would be worked harder and longer. Sora already had the basics down when she was younger, so now was just more specialized moves to give her an advantage in a fight.
It was at this time when Sora began to notice a change with her father. He was becoming harder... darker, as if something broke inside his body. He kept Sora focus away from him and on her training, which was becoming harder on the child.
Days passed slow and fast for this harsh training, and soon Sora wished that she could mingle with more people: her greatest weakness was her lack of people's skills. When she was roughly 12, she brought this up to her father: He would not have his teachings questions, and Sora was forced to train for nearly a full 48 hours without a break except for food and water.
Thing's weren't going so well for Sora when she was 13 either: her father was becoming more and more cruel. She was worked to the breaking point every day: martial arts, melee weapons, and the force were shoved down her throat like nothing else. Sora was just a miserable girl caught in the wrong place.
She only kept up with her training because she loved her father, and believed that he would snap out of what was going on with him. The training was intensive, and Sora hated it so much, but couldn't deny that no one her age, or older, would have such intensive training from someone who she thought hated her.
A little bit after Sora turned 15, Tusken Raiders attacked the small homestead that Sora and Juro lived in. Though Sora was strong, both in the force and physically, she couldn't sustain the fight, and fled off into the desert. That night was the last time she saw her father: she assumes him to be dead.
For two days, Sora wandered around the desert of Tatooine, lacking food and water. The suns never ceased to beat down on the girl as she worked to find any traces of civilization. Her acts were futile, and finally, she just gave up. Sora collapsed into the sand, passing out from heat exhaustion and dehydration.
When Sora next woke up, she was in an alien environment: a strange bed in a random house. Quickly, Sora sat up, and instantly felt the last few days catch up to her: she got extremely lightheaded and had to lay back down. Once the world stopped spinning, she sat up again, slowly this time. The room was fairly small, yet nice a cozy.
After slowly getting to her feet, Sora made her way out of the room, where she nearly ran into a heavyset woman. This woman was entirely too perky to Sora, who was use to her father, but Sora felt nothing but good will from the woman, and, though anxious, accepted her hospitality.
Sora learned that she was out cold for three days, and her hunger matched that. When dinner came around, Sora ate like a champ: devouring everything set before her until she was filled to bursting point. After that, she was aloud a nice long bath, and a resting sleep.
The next day, Sora was given back her clothing, washed and repaired, and allowed to walk around the estate, so long as she stayed near the estate. The area was more like badlans: not like the sands where she collapsed. She spotted the occasional droid around a moisture vaporator, but other than that, it was relatively peaceful. A urge in the back of Sora's head made her revert to her old habits, and sure enough, Sora was practicing her martial arts. She no longer had her lightsaber with her, so she couldn't do any training with that.
The time that Sora spent here was very relaxing compared to her last lifestyle. She worked on the estate, earning her living around here, as well as able to leisurely work on her skills. The Woman, Helga, was a widow, so she enjoyed the company of the young, spry girl. Sora enjoyed the work and new company greatly, and she was extremely happy to be around the company of Helga and the other workers.
During her time working on the estate, Sora's personality took a huge turn: she became much more fiery and headstrong, speaking much more and generally having fun. No one seemed to mind this change: in fact, people liked it. The small town some kilometers away also grew to know her face as she traveled between the town and estate.
Age 16 came and gone before Sora even knew it. She was too into her new life, but something always bugged her about being here. It was too nice and relaxing for the girl, who wanted to go out and see the galaxy. Secretly, and for months, Sora began to save up credits she earned. It was slow work, as she was not the best when it came to money (She loved to buy things now) but slowly, her savings built up.
During the months that Sora was saving up her money, she had ample time to keep up her physical workouts. Without new material, all she could do was keep up with her current knowledge that, without fail, came naturally to her. In order to maintain her skills with melee weapons, she used spare pipes, which the variation of weight kept her working hard to maintain control.
The night before Sora left, she met up with Helga, telling the woman of her plans. The older woman agreed with Sora, and gave her credits to help out the young woman. The next morning, Sora said she will visit when she could, and after a teary farewell, Sora was taken to the nearest city with a spaceport: Anchorhead.
The trip took a few hours by speeder, but eventually, Sora made it. She had but a simple backpack with a few extra pairs of clothes and some personal items she had. Sora immediately went to scout out the spaceport, doing her best to blend in. She had on a dusty tan poncho, slightly larger than what is needed for her still small frame, but it was fine for what she needed to do.
It took a bit of time between talking to local law enforcement, as well as workers she saw around the spaceport. For a decent price, Sora bought passage to Nar Shaddaa. Sora had no idea what this planet was, but was told that it was a good place to find a job, get information, and other things that she didn't bother to remember: To her, it was just a new place to visit.
((Life in the City))
Nar Shaddaa was nothing like Sora could possibly imagine. It looked like a glowing jewel in the blackness of space, and once in the atmosphere, she found that the entire moon was one massive city. She found out soon after landing that this was a dangerous place. Before leaving the freighter, she was told that she was in the Corellian sector, and that she should be able to find some housing soon, as well as a job.
Finding an vacant apartment was easy: a simple, one bedroom one bathroom that was in decent shape and went for a good price. With a place to live, Sora went out job hunting, which, with all the scum, pirates, smugglers, and everything else illict going on, it was tough going for a short while.
After two days of searching, Sora finally found a job: waiting tables at a nearby Cantina/Casino, called Polka's Zone. She was forced to wear a rather skimpy outfit, which she despised, and take harassment, which was nearly intolerable. Sora only put up with the job because she had no other way to make money, and she needed the job.
Sora often received constant harassment while working, and she was forced to work longer and longer, because she attracted so much attention to the establishment. At Sora's age, nearly 17, she should have been almost fully grown, for a human at least, but she wasn't much bigger than a younger teenager, because of her Firrerreo blood.
During Sora's off time, she would practice her martial arts in her room, flowing through the poses; as well as meditate and work on what she knew of the force. Still, without the time she use to have, her skills began to slack, ever so slightly. Despite that drawback, she was still in expert shape.
Six months after Sora got her job, she was 'asked' to become a dancer, as the owner of the Zone wanted more money. Despite her better judgement, the now 17 year old became a dancer. She never stripped, but received more harassment than ever. The only up that Sora could find was that she was getting slightly better pay, and she was allowed to keep any tips.
Sora's martial arts skills played a very good role in her dancing, as she was fairly flexible, and, when performed slow enough, some of her moved looked like dance. That was about the only up she had: Sora was clumsy in her new outfit, lacking any skills that would make a good dancer. Despite protests to the owner of the Zone, he kept her on the stage.
After a hard nights work, a fellow dancer: an older Echani woman named Nyusaan, or Nyu, decided to take it upon herself to help out Sora. This took a good chuck of Sora's already limited self-training time. When Sora told Nyu that, she said that it will be fine, as it will pay off. Sora had no idea what the elder woman was saying, and protested, but still went along with what Nyu wanted.
The next couple of months in Sora's life went relatively smooth: with work and training, Sora was busy most of the time, and she was starting to enjoy what she was doing. If anyone got to close when she was on the stage, she was allowed to take them down a notch.
Just after Sora turned 18, she had the worst possible experience ever. Before she got off, she was having a drink, not knowing that it was spiked. The drugs hit Sora hard, and, without realizing it, she was out cold and kidnapped.
The drugs used to knock Sora out wore off after some hours. By then, she was sedated and unable to reach out to the force, because her mind was fuzzy. For three days, Sora was kept under these sedatives while the kidnappers did as they pleased to the young woman. She was saved when Nyu fallowed one of the men who she remembered seeing around, and watching, Sora, and tipped off the police. Half the people who were there had yet to be arrested.
Sora quit her job as soon as she woke up in a local hospital. She was discharged and went back home. Every day, Nyu was over, checking up on the girl to make sure that she was fine, and to make sure Sora never did anything outrageous. Sora remained quiet about what happened, but was silently plotting about what to do.
It wasn't until two weeks after the 'incident' that Sora went back to Polka's Zone. Anger rippled from Sora as she saw one of one the kidnappers. Anger overflowed from Sora as she grasped the man with the force, and threw him up into the ceiling, then to the ground. Local patrons screamed and ran away as Sora tossed the man around.
This man wasn't the only one who was around though: two of his friends were there, one of them being a kidnapper. They tried to go after Sora, up close and personal. They couldn't match the woman, as years of training in martial arts made her deadly. That night, Sora killed three men, and several innocent people were wounded, but not severely.
Sora knew that she would be in trouble when word spread around that she trashed the club and killed people. She quickly ran back to her apartment, where Nyu was waiting for Sora. The older woman wasn't alone, though: a human man, older than she was, was with her. Sora thought she was in for a fight, but surprisingly, all of Sora's things were packed up neatly.
Nyu knew that Sora had to leave, and she introduced Sora to her friend: an ex-Jedi Master by the name of Kel Zol. After a good-by, Kel and Sora left the apartment, then the planet in Kel's XS-class light freighter Spirit tide. Sora knew that she would get to know this man fairly well in the time ahead of them.
((Space-fairing adventures))
A newly turned 18 year old and an older man may seem like an odd traveling couple, but Sora enjoyed the company of this man. Kel taught Sora so much during their travels together, and left a huge impression on her life that there was nothing she would be able to do for the man if she tried.
Sora quickly learned somethings about Kel, mere hours after meeting him on Nar Shadaaa: One was that he was a member of a force organization known as the Wardens of the Sky. Two was that he was a better fighter than she was, and Three: he was strong with the force. He never did say how he knew Nyu though, and, despite her wanting to know, never questioned him about it.
Kel told Sora about what their organization was about, and told her that she would do what he does now, and she will learn as his apprentice. She wholeheartedly agreed to this; eager to train again, and get stronger and faster.
However, Kel did not immediately start Sora on combat training: instead, he began with her knowledge. Sora had no reason not to go along with this: after all, her weakest point was her knowledge. Kel had a vast amount of data for Sora to study from: collect ed from years with the Jedi, and on his own.
Sora was very impressed by the amount of knowledge Kel had stored up: just looking over the topics to see what he had took her nearly two days. Long days and nights spend in hyperspace were spend stuffing Sora full of anything, and quickly learned how to read and write as well as your average person.
Of course; she was no computer jockey. She knew how to handle a simple computer terminal and datapad, which was all she really needed to learn. In order to stay in shape, Kel and Sora spared at least an hour each day, and meditated together at least that long, as well. Nothing new in terms of combat was learned, as their union together was still young and immature. For sparing matches, Kel gave Sora a new lightsaber, saying it used to be his old padawan's from when he was with the Order.
Three hours of dedicated time each day, Sora was allowed to study any subject she chose, and the majority of the time it was literature and writing: she wanted to learn as much as she could of this, as fast as she could, so she wouldn't be passed up by a mere child, as well as know what was going on whenever they were set down on a planet.
Kel did show Sora the basics of lightsaber combat, staying with Form I. Being a Warden didn't call much for lightsabers, but rather hand to hand combat. The basics were all she needed to know.
Being a Warden of the Sky, Kel was often on planets that fell on major trade routes. During these visits to major spaceports, Kel taught Sora how to blend in with crowds of people, and how to move back and forth across a spaceport with such groups, or even near smaller groups. He also taught the young woman what to look for in order to spot any major acts of lawlessness, such as piracy or anything to do with the slave trade.
What Kel was big on was helping out smugglers who deserved it, such as those who were simply trying to keep away from pirates and make an 'honest' living. If there was a fight, such as those times when they went up against a small pirate group or slavers, the two would refrain from using blasters, not that Sora was that good of shot. Kel noticed this when they were in a ranged fight, and made a decision to take a short hiatus from the space lanes, and went to a small home he owned on Corellia.
On Corellia, Kel brought Sora up to speed on firearms, showing her proper form and techniques for ranged combat. His main focus was to get Sora proficient enough to hold her own in combat at a distance. After a month of training, Kel deemed the woman proficient enough that they were able to resume their paroling.
Failed missions were common for Sora and Kel, but one such mission put Sora in critical condition in a hospital for months, nearly costing the young woman her life. The hesitation almost cost the 18 year old her life, but luckily she made a full recovery.
The duo were on Kiffex, fallowing a trail of pirates and slavers halfway across the galaxy and slowly crippling their operation. Overconfidence leached out from Sora, and she didn't heed Kel's words throughout their trails. That was the start of the process which nearly cost Sora her life.
What really sent the ball rolling was a well set trap that fooled both the force users. Both their danger senses didn't go off when they should have. Just outside the spaceport, a small ambush, which was brushed off, was sprung. In a hurry to catch the ambushers, Sora sprinted off after them, leaving Kel behind, yelling at her not to go. He called local law enforcement, then ran in after the young woman.
Just as expected, Sora ran right into a larger ambush. Gunmen were waiting in the hanger, hiding around their ship and behind shipping crates. As soon as the young woman ran through the entryway, they opened fire. Sora was no where near skilled enough with her lightsaber, and her body and reflexes couldn't keep up with the rounds being sent at her.
One round tore through Sora's left bicep, shredding the meat and leaving it useless. The pain and shock caused her to flinch in place, earning her a graze to her left leg, skimming the bone. She was able to stand, barely, but that was it. She was hit in the chest, the light armor she was wearing was blown off from the force of the blast, injuring her, and a final one went right through her gut.
Sora was barely holding onto consciousness as Kel and a wave of law enforcement officers rushed the hanger. With the force, Kel dragged Sora to him. When she was in his arms, a veil of darkness overcame her, and all feelings of pain numbed. She was out cold before they left the hanger, and her life was hanging in the balance.
Sora spent a week in a kolto tank, sedated so she would stay asleep and heal fully. A full human would have stayed in there longer for their wounds, but because of Sora's Firrerreo blood, the time was cut nearly in half, and she was, at least on the outside, without any scars. Kel assembled a number of topics for Sora to go over and learn once she was out of the tank, and resting in the hospital.
The sedatives were cut off first before Sora was let out of the tank. Once she was fully awake and aware, she was tank, and was forced to spend two weeks in the hospital for constant check-ups and to ensure there was no problems with the newly grown muscle.
The primary focus of the topics was a lightsaber form that Sora didn't hardly know anything about. As she went further in depth, she found out that it was excellent in terms of defense, yet parts of it showed a powerful offensive form; two of them, in fact, as one was an entirely different form than this defensive one. Kel said that this was all she needed to know for lightsaber to avoid, or at least stand up better, in ambushes and fights just like the one that put her in the hospital.
Just like before, once Sora was released from the hospital, she and Kel went back to the older force user's small estate, where they stayed for a decent amount of time, training hard to better Sora: yet it wasn't all physical training. Sora still felt pains from the failed mission not a month before, and so they took their time. Whenever Sora was felt she was in too much pain to be able to concentrate on training, they would go inside, where Sora would continue to study of various topics that Kel would have set out for her.
Sora's 19th birthday passed while they were on Corellia: her first birthday on the planet in nearly a decade, as well as much more enjoyable. First of all, there was no training: inside or out. Kel just let it slide, and had a nice relaxing day. Kel made plenty of food, and even a small cake for the young woman.
Training resumed the next day, and the duo got into it hard. Just before the day was over, when they were cooling down, Kel admitted that Sora was becoming quite proficient in combat, and it would be a challenge for many people in the galaxy to challenge her in combat. They left a few days later, returning to their work as Wardens.
Sora and Kel continued their training in space and on whatever planets they landed on, and it was slower progress. They only worked physically to maintain their skills: otherwise, all progress was towards knowledge and the force. Sora had a decent grasp on the force as it was, and was more than capable of applying telekinesis in many different scenarios, but wanted to boost what she was able to do. There were so many other ways, and Kel wanted to get Sora up to speed with what some were.
In order to get Sora where Kel wanted her, he had the young woman focus on movement drills, having her constantly moving from point A to point B as fast as she was able to go, and telling her to use the force to help her move faster. Not surprisingly, Sora had a hard time managing this, and was showing great annoyance and impatience after spending a full day running across Kel's ship.
With a small smile, Kel did exactly what he was having Sora do, only in roughly half the time it was taking Sora. The young woman was thrown off by the elder man's actions, and vowed to get down what Kel demonstrated. There was no way she was going to let some crusty old ex-jedi show her up.
After a quick healing trance to restore energy to her tired muscles, Sora resumed her training, working her body to the brink, healing herself with a trance, and repeating the same process, over and over again. Her stubbornness and tough will kept her pushing forward without too much relief: her goal was to get this down.
Of course, Sora couldn't spend her entire time training, as she had her profession to take in mind. Roughly a year after meeting up with each other, Kel was comfortable enough with letting Sora do her own investigations at the different spaceports they landed in. She wasn't as skilled at finding what she was looking for, and her ability to blend in with a crowd needed work, but at least she was coming along well when it came to being a Warden of the Sky.
Suzuka's training in amplifying her body with the force was not only helping her force powers, but also her body. The constant and profuse training was keeping her body in top shape, and she was becoming faster. Sora never worried too much about her strength level, as her constant training did it for her. People had little trouble surpassing her in pure strength, yet her game was speed, and it paid off when any opponents were having trouble hitting, or even getting a bead, on her.
Around this time period Sora and Kel had one of their best arrests/captures/ adventures between them. It was a long, process, but the payout was great, and they were able to shut down a pirate/ operation, and created an opening in a Hutt cartel reaching into republic space.
It all began when they caught wind of simple pirate actions around Fondor, which was fairly common, seeing how many ships were blowing around the area. This was just a simple wing of the operations, but the duo didn't realize it for a long time. For a while, they kept watch around the area, working with the local law, which allowed them to use the vast camera network. Kel stayed there, while Sora was free to check things out on foot.
If Kel found something, no matter where at around the planet, Sora was able to get there, as she had easy access to Kel's ship. Two days of working, which war a few days short of their normal working period for a planet as busy as this, yielded enough evidence that a busy operation was going on here. Once a common marking between a series of ships was established, the duo tailed a ship through hyperspace.
A week of back and forth work showed that a decent chuck of ships were coming from Nar Shaddaa. Sora was against going back to the city-moon, but ultimately yielded: she knew that she had to go regardless, and she wouldn't be staying for an extended period of time. That gave the young woman some comfort at least.
It didn't take long for Sora and Kel to figure out that whatever the Pirates were dealing with was being sold, or rather, traded, to the Hutt's, for slaves, and other material goods. Kel, while on a recon mission by himself, discovered that slaves were also coming in from private dealers. This gave Kel an idea, but he needed Sora to consent what he had planned.
What he wanted to do was 'sell' Sora as a slave, but have a small tracking device on her, so they knew where their base of operations was located. Unexpectedly, Sora was against it, but as the days dragged on, and she watched slaves get sold off, she knew that this was perhaps the only way for them to be able to shut down this operation.
Like a champ, Kel was able to get into contact with the slavers, and set up a meeting between himself and them in order to 'sell' Sora. While waiting for the date and time, they got Sora a very revealing slave dancer outfit, and hid a tracking device on it; hiding it in plain view, yet hidden with the design and other trinkets on it.
Finally, after nearly a week of waiting and planing, the date came, and Kel and Sora went to the meeting place. For a half hour, the slavers inspected and looked over Sora, asking her questions. Sora was forced to act like lower class slime, speaking quietly, and only when spoken to. Otherwise, she remained quiet and still: a broken, young woman.
Once satisfied, Sora was bought for 15,000 credits: something she felt, despite everything, proud of. A shock collar around her neck, she was led to a warehouse, where a few other slaves were being held. She was shoved into a cage with four other slaves. A day and a half Sora spend here with the other slaves, barely being fed or given water, but eventually, they were taken off to a starport, loaded on a ship, and whisked away.
Sora didn't hardly talk to anyone. She kept herself isolated, keeping herself entertained with mind games. Once on the ship, she had no idea where she was heading to: All she knew was that the ride took some time, so they either were taking a long, round-about way to get somewhere, or a shorter course to the core worlds.
Finally, after nearly three days of being stuck in a cramped hide-away all alone, Sora was take out of the ship. She didn't recognize the planet she was on, but she guessed, by the look of some people the slavers were talking to, she was being sold off to a noble house somewhere. She wouldn't know until Kel came from her.
Once the money changed hands, Sora, and two other slaves, were taken away by the fancy dressed characters who purchased them. The silence was heavy other the group, which didn't bother Sora: she only had to put up with it for a short while longer.
Sora was surprised to see the extent of the estate, and the building that towered before her. She wasn't heading for the main building though, but rather a smaller building off to the side, where she assumed her living areas would be at. Her guides showed Sora her room, and commanded her to change into the clothes provided. She was allowed to remove the shock collar, but had a tracking bracelet.
When she was alone and changed, Sora pried the tracking device off of her slave outfit, hiding it within her small nightstand, then met her guides outside her room. They showed her around the estate, and the different jobs she would be doing here. The last thing they said before she was sent to work was that she was a maid here, rather than a slave. It was a much nicer name, and it matched her outfit.
The next day, the estate seemed to be in a middle of a siege as republic personnel and the security force of the estate were going at it tooth and nail. Knowing that her short time here was over, Sora 'modified' her outfit, allowing her to move much better than before, and reached out for Kel in the force: feeling the man around the outside of the estate. Rather than make her way to him, she made her way towards the security office.
Most of the security officers were on the perimeter of the estate, leaving few inside. When one questioned what she was doing out here rather than sitting inside a bunker, she said she was new here, and wasn't shown where they were located. The man looked puzzled for a minute, before he was whipped through a wall by the force. Sora made sure he was out cold, grabbed his blaster rifle, then resumed her travels.
Anyone she met showed surprise, allowing Sora to take them out with, usually, the force, or with the blaster rifle. She didn't want to use that as it made a fairly loud noise when it went off, and she needed more stealth than anything. No serious incidents overcame Sora as she made her way to the entrance to the room.
She blew off the door right off with a telekinetic push, surprising everyone inside. Sora got to cover, where she tried to support herself with the blaster rifle. She couldn't hardly get out of cover to shoot it, and she wasn't skilled enough with a blaster to rely on it. That forced her to do the next best thing: a distraction. She broke cover and fired at the electronics, sending sparks and bright lights throughout the room.
With that, Sora threw her rifle at a security officer, having him catch it, where she jumped at him and collapsed his trachea with her fist. She then used the force to send his body flying across the room. Right after that, she used the force to whip up a wind that sent anything not bolted down flying around. Quickly, the last three personnel in the room were taken out.
The fighting outside died down shortly after, as no one was around to command the troops. Sora did what she could from the inside to help out, but she didn't know if it did much in the longer run. Eventually, she met up with Kel. He told her they were on Chandrila. A corrupted nobleman was cutting corners and getting 'workers' from slavers to save money. That was brought down, and so was the slave network.
Sora earned a nice dinner, bath, and a rest. For the first time in nearly two weeks, Sora had a very restful, undisturbed sleep. The next day, she felt comfortable in her normal clothes, and was able to have her hair back to the way she wanted, rather than forced. She was happy that she didn't have to worry about being figured out for not being a slave, and that life was becoming normal again.
Sora was still a few months away from her 20th birthday when Kel took her back to Corellia. What she didn't know at the time was that this was the last time they would be training together. It was their longest training session together, which allowed the woman to get in some really good trainind.
This cycle of training encompassed mainly extreme hand to hand combat and some good force training. Sora got down, in the months since she was shown how, and learned the basics, her main melee combat, force amplifying abilities: force valor, so she could fight longer and better, and force speed, so she could move faster, and dodge quicker. She got much work and practice during this time, becoming quite adept at what she did.
A month after Sora turned 20, Kel deemed Sora ready to go off on her own. He had taught her skills that would make her a great Warden of the Sky, as well as a strong woman who didn't need to worry about being assaulted again. Their final trip together was to one of the many spaceports on Coruscant. From there, they said their last good-by's as master and pupil and first hello as fellow Warden's of the Sky.
Sora had little trouble finding a cargo freighter that needed a navigator one thing or another happened to the old one. Normally, they just up and quit because they found a better paying job, or joined the Republic, or some other reason that she didn't know about. She didn't ask questions about what happened to the one she replaced, and she found the work easy.
The ship she was now apart of was a slightly aged CC-4400-BF/T freighter Sandy Wave. Though larger... much larger, than she was use to, and she said that before she was hired, she only really needed to plot courses and navigate, paying attention to a few stations.
The main trade routes they stuck to were the Perlimian and Corellian trade routes, and the planets within a few hundred lightyears of each route. Most of the work they did was honest: Running supplies up and down the trade routes, but they also did smuggling runs for extra credits. Sora wasn't against this, and help out any way she could, including secretly using the force to keep watch, and keep people who she felt would rat them out away whenever goods to be smuggled were being up-loaded or off-loaded.
Of course, whenever they stopped at a spaceport for more than a few hours, the young woman would simply wander around, mingling with the crowd. On more than one instance, she saw something that looked way out of place, went to investigate, and, after watching, if she deemed it a problem, she would step in, either with violence or simply 'persuading' the accused person to stop, and what not. It didn't always work, and sometimes started a small fight, but Sora had little problems keeping it from getting too out of hand.
Little bit of persuasion wasn't too difficult for Sora to accomplished, as many people she met on these travels were greedy. It was a matter of tempting them with this greed, which was their downfall. Despite herself, Sora enjoyed watching someone wait around, or even walk up and tell the local law enforcement what they did: then get hauled off.
Some months after joining up with the crew of the Sandy Wave, she heard rumors of Sith attacking Republic worlds. She read some about them during her time with Kel, but didn't know much about them. Allegedly, they were a group of force user's who used the dark side of the force. Sora didn't really believe, nor care for, the light or dark sides, believing, as Kel did, that there was only the force, and one's actions determined if the end result was for the better or for the worst.
She also picked up wind that the Mandalorians were on the offensive again, working to reclaim planets they once had, or wished for. This concerned Sora, and she wanted to figure out if what was being said was true. She regretfully quite being on the crew of the Sandy Wave and paid for a ride to the outer rim: Tatooine, to be exact.
Sora learned here that the Mandalorian's were back on the offensive, and, as such, started traveling around with a group of mercenaries constantly on the attack against the Mandalorians. During this time, she came to know a man my the name of Ruko.
The two, when not fighting against the Mandalorians or whoever else they was attacking them, would often be in each others company, trying not to think about the war. Being on a small ship with other people made it hard to get any quality time withe each other, but they managed somehow.
Eventually, after having their numbers reduced to a mere handful, the team switched tactics. Usually, It consisted of making smuggling runs into enemy space to deliver good and run people off the planet. They acted like privateers, saying they were here for the Sith cause. Sora quickly learned how to conceal that she knew how to use the force, so she nor anyone else would be in any more danger than they needed to be.
Sora and Ruko slowly became closer with each other, and before she knew it, she fell in love with the man, but she never spoke her mind. He was brash and impulsive, much like she was, but also had a caring side, and there was no way that she could not fall in love with him.
The two complimented each other well in a fight: Sora getting in close and flanking the enemy, be it Mandalorian or pirates, while Ruko provided fire with a blaster, taking anyone who poked their heads out with a well placed shot. It was quite effective, especially when Sora used the force to push someone out from cover, and right to where Ruko could shoot them.
Before making what should have been a casual smuggling/spy run to Concord Dawn, Sora confessed her love to Ruko, who responded exactly how she thought he would: the same way. Sora had always been shy about being with a man, seeing as she was raped years before, but Ruko didn't care about that: only that she loved him and he loved her, and that was all that mattered. They shared a night of passion together.
Before actually making it to Concord Dawn itself, The teams ship was intercepted by a Mandalorian scout ship. Like always, they made it known who they were, and boarded the ship. However, unlike before, they planned to take the ship for themselves, and opened fire on everyone on board. There was hardly any room to move and fight, and the few people who consisted of the crew and soldiers were killed or wounded. Sora was doing her best with her blaster pistol, but the Mandalorians were too numerous, and she didn't have Ruko to help support him. In fact, she had no idea where her lover was.
Sora and two others holding the enemy forces back, someone, she didn't know who, made it to the helm and blasted away from the Mandalorian forces. Sora was nearly sucked into the vacuum of space, but managed to close the airlock. After catching her breath, Sora, one of the only survivors, went around the ship to find anyone else alive. Any wounded Sith were put out of their misery.
In one of the sleeping quarters, she found Ruko, dying and surrounded by four armored bodies. As soon as Sora laid eyes on him, she knew that there was no way she would be able to save her lover's life. He had a hole in his chest, and was bleeding profusely. He could hardly speak or breath, but Sora was there for his last minutes alive, cradling his body and crying. She continued to hold him long until after the man died and his body went cold.
The ship, Sora didn't realize, made planetfall on Dantooine. It was damaged beyond repair, and the survivors, all four of them, split the money when it was sold for scrap. Sora used her money to make sore Ruko got a proper funeral, then made her way to Coruscant.
On the city planet, Sora lost herself in depression. She cried for her lover and lost friends every night, and she became a binge drinker: it was the only way she could fall asleep, and sooth her broken heart. During this span of four months, she never trained, and let herself go to hell. The second and third month she sold her body, trying to find some way to easy the pain she felt, but it never came.
After reading the news, though, she felt, somewhere, that she couldn't sit around and waste away the rest of her body. She quit drinking, and cleaned herself up, changing her image back to how she use to be: a beautiful, strong young woman. She spent an entire month in the cold mountians on Alderaan training her body and mind back to how it use to be months ago, then earned work on a ship, one called Three's Perfect While on it, the captain, Ash "Joker" Tora, continuously tried to hit on her, which drove her crazy, but quit when he knew that it was useless.
This man reminded Sora much of how Ruko was, and she, for once, found comfort in that. She didn't say anything on it, because of what happened with her former lover, but became jealous whenever he tried to get smooth with another woman. Usually it ended with her hitting him, or tossing him away with the force. He laughed it off afterwords, and she found it humorous, so in some way, it became like a game.
However much she enjoyed it, and her time with him, she knew that eventually she would need to get involved with the fight against the Mandalorians. She would help out whoever she felt needed it at random spaceports, trying to better their chances by telling her routes she and her former crew found out about in Sith space where few ships traveled. This was the best she could do at the time.
Nearing the ripe young age of 22, Sora looked no older than a teenager, because of her Firrerreo blood. She enjoyed looking young, as it made her feel almost better than others around her. It occasionally got to her head, as did her old drinking habit: more than once she had to be carried back to the Perfect because she couldn't walk back. When she was sober, though, she tried to figure out the best way to fight the enemy, and had a feeling that it would involve friends she had now, as well as some in the Future. Hardships were to come, but so were joys of life, and, hopefully, peace throughout the Galaxy.
