Personality: Samuel is a very laid back individual and really doesn't do anything too seriously with the exception of his martial arts. Sam would hit on anyone of the opposite gender, but when push comes to shove he will fucking end you in a heartbeat especially when his sister comes in to play.

Lucas O'Connell & Jedi Master Taldeer Rekanis
Lucas O'Connell was a high ranking member of the Republic a general to specific, at the age of 34 Lucas first gained control of the 101 Cadian Squad finest of the Republic soldiers. When battle breaks out they are the first ones in and first one out, when word came to the Republic that the Sith had an unusually large presence over the plant Epsilon in the Unknown quadrant of the Galaxy they sent the 101 in and granted Lucas O'Connell the rank of Governor Militant as his first line of business as renaming his squad as the 1st Epsilon (liberators) Regiment. Once planet side Governor O'Connell and his wife to be Jedi Master Talder Rakanis set up a forward base and immediately they were under attack by Sith troops, once they drove the Sith back a bit Lucas sent scouts out. Taldeer sensed a Sith Master leading the Sith forces here.
Battle after battle Governor Lucas's forces pushed back the Sith forces until they reached their capitol. Taldeer noticed the Sith Master alone so she took her chance to end this, both jedi's engaged in single combat. Taldeer appeared to have the upper hand in the fight as she was pushing the Sith back, unfortunately she hadn't encountered Lucas to join in. When the Governor noticed his fiancée in combat with a Sith Master he wasn't about to sit this one out. Taldeer was caught off guard by Lucas and the Sith struck taking out a small hidden blade and impeding it in her gut, Lucas runs over screaming in rage as he tackles the Sith to the ground next to Taldeer. Once on top of the Sith Lucas begins beating the shit out of him until the Sith kicked him off. From there the two engaged in hand to hand as Taldeer layed on the ground with a knife in her stomach. Slowly Lucas was starting to get his ass handed to him when finale the Sith was on top of his chest just wailing away at his face. Watching her fiancée getting beaten she mustered all her strength together to pull the knife out of her stomach and throw it guiding it with the force. The knife landed in the Sith's shoulder blade throwing him off Lucas and running toward his base. After awhile Lucase gets up and helps Taldeer up.
Lucas that was suicide you shouldn't have intervened.
I am sorry that you were injured because of me, but I wasn't about to let you take on a Sith Master alone. Now lets get you patched up.

In the infermery of the 1'st Epsilon Liberators Taldeer was getting patched up when Lucas was preparing the troops for their finale assault on the Sith base. On the move were artillery tanks and dozens of foot soldiers as well as Lucas's Command squad. Even after her injuries Taldeer still went along to battle. One of Lucas's finest solider was Edward and was part of Lucas's command squad.
Lucas you fiancée is one tough son of a bitch.

The assault on the base had commenced arttilery fire was raining down upon the infantry quarters and the foot solders flanking their position with Lucas's Command squad at the front of the lines, within minieuts the Sith was disorganized and scattered. Both Lucas and Taldeer watched as the last of the Sith fled.
Age 0-6[/b]
Both Samuel and his sister Sera was born the son and daughter of a Jedi Knight Taldeer Rekanis and republic war hero/tactician Lucas O'Connell led Sam down the road of cocky attitude later on in his life, his sister Sera on the other hand was always the cautious one.
When Lucas and Taldeer found out that they were having a son and daughter they were overjoyed, Taldeer wanted to teach them the ways of the force if they so wished it. Both Sera and Sam started their Jedi training under the noses of the Jedi council and under the guidance of their mother. Sera was excited to learn the ways of the force and listened eager to learn. Sam did not share the same ethusiasim as his sister however.

As their mother taught them both the ways of the Jedi and of the force with a few alterations of course mainly their rule of not allowed to form attractions to others. She taught them how to control their passions and emotions so they don't lead them down the path to the dark side.
Sera hung onto every word her mother said about controlling your emotions and passions, as Sam questioned them he may have been 7 but he was quite intelligent for his age. For every thing his mother taught them Sam would question like Without emotion nothing would drive us.
As the months progressed Taldeer would feel the potential in her children Sera's eagerness to learned and Sam's wild nature.
Age 7-18 Jedi Training/Martial Arts[/u]
It was clear that Sam had no interest in learning the force so Taldeer would let Sam choose his own course, which lead to Sam training with his father in martial arts, but Sera would contently try to impress her mother with what she could do by levitating random objects small and large.
Sam would train with his father in hand to hand and sharpening his reflexes contently pushing himself to his limits. Sam would train night and day with his form of Sambo striking at key points of the body and grappling learning the quickest way to bring down his foe. When Sam trained he blocked out all other thoughts to better focus his mind so his body can endure the punishment.
Sam was good knowing when to strike and where and his father knew it too, in all of his years serving the republic he had not know someone this fast as his son. Later on in years Sam's body grew accustomed to the punishment of training that Sam could ignore pain to a degree and his sister was skilled in the force of perceiving others, So when Sam and Sera sparred it was the ultimate test of skill vs force. Sera would use a training sword as Sam used his bare fist and foot, their first match took only a few seconds which Sam would disarm Sera and throw her to the ground. Even Taldeer was amazed on how fast Sam won she was so proud of both of them.
Age 18-24 Growing Competition[/u]
Year after year Sam would best Sera in a duel even after Sera became stronger in the force. Sam explained that It's not your skill that is to question it's your training. It's one thing to mentally prepare, but quite another to prepare the body.
Sam and Sera decided to head off-world to the planet of Lok in the mid rim to further their training. Sam's father handed down his set of gauntlets weaved together by a thin layer of cortosis over to Sam after a few alterations to them so they could properly fit him. Sam took the gauntlets and thanked his father. Taldeer handed down her lightsaber over to Sera, Sera grasped the hilt and placed it on her belt. Soon after they left planet side and headed for Lok.
Once there they saw a group of raider harassing a small village, Sera eager to rushed out brandishing her lightsaber and rushing forward cutting a raider in half and Sam engaged in combat with a another.
After the whole ordeal the village leader thanked them both, Sam had his foot on top of a raiders chest.
"You mind letting me go" Sam just glanced at the raider under his boot and said
"Hey I'm in the middle of a conversation here."
"I must thank you for your help these raiders plague us night and day." the leader says gratefully
The raider shouts out "It's your fault" but was cut off by Sam placing more pressure on his ribs "Shut up." In a depressed tone "Okay"
"So what are we going to do with this guy?" Sera said directing her attention to which Sam takes his foot off of the raider watching him run away. "RUN FOREST RUN!" Sam chuckles a bit "I'm a dick."
Frantically Sera asks why he let him go "He's not coming back."
