Name: Baulder
Homeworld: Carim (Volcanic World) Driven from their homeworld from an unknown threat the Baulder live on the remnants of their Dark Fleet. Settled on Endor
Appearance: The Baulder's head is peeled back into a coned shape and formed in four different layers the. Their face is flat and their mouth is just under their chin which hangs a bit lower down, their legs are unguligrade

Biology: With all the changes to their genome they are immune to most toxic atmospheres that they know of, as well as increased sub-dermal fat to increase body temperature on frigid worlds. Since their homeworld was originally volcanic they have a higher resistance to heat. The Baulder have all the same organs as humans lungs, spleen liver, though the Baulder do have an extra heart.
Being from a volcanic world where light is scarce the Baulder's eyes are specifically designed for low-light conditions and they would need to slowly adjust on other worlds if subjected to higher sources of light it can potentially lead to blindness. They subvert this shortcoming by way of bio-mechanical headgear specially designed to dilute and filter the natural lighting of other planets that would otherwise prove harmful to them. The muscle mass of the Baulder is just slightly greater than most humanoids mainly in there legs allowing them run and jump further.
The legs and feet are much like other animals in that they walk on the tips of their toes giving them the appearance of limbs which are angled strangely compared to most humanoids. This angled feet allows the tendons in their legs to be much larger and have given them a nice spring which allows them to run at a sustained speed of thirty miles per hour along with a vertical leap of nearly fifty feet straight up.
Their head is formed of four different sections first three starting from the forehead is their brain which is average size, the last section is completely hollowed functioning as a way to sense space and the proximity and movement of physical objects around them similar to that of Togruta's.
Genetic Modifications
Genetic Modifications among the Baulder are basic, only altering curtain aspects of their physiology, fat, muscle, lungs. This would ensure when they came across a planet they may have trouble conquering the modifications would solve their problem. However since genetic modifications were not only dangerous and expensive they decided to minimize cost and increase survivibility but selecting groups for conquering certain worlds.
History: The Baulder were the natives to Carim a volcanic world that gave birth to the Baulder and their Dark Fleet. There The Baulder had discovered ancient technology left behind by the Celestial's, not knowing who built them the Baulder took what they found and made it their own by implementing and experimenting. This lead to the discovery of hyperspace, and the creation of the Dark Fleet from which their empire spanned the reaches of wild and unknown space conquering other races in their path. While these other races were primitive and peacefully subjugated while other more advanced races were harshly enslaved. Once conquered the other races were integrated into Baulder's culture as "valued citizens" giving them minimal standings in their society. Each world they took was locked down and ruled from an orbital station to minimize the chance of rebellion. During their rapid expansion they discovered the Rakata Empire they fought for years with each side not willing to budge and neither side gaining anything. After ten years of constant war they formed somewhat of an alliance where both sides decided to leave each other to their sides of space and only enter when one side needs assistance.
As with all empires it fell and from within more than ten-thousand years ago their inner worlds fell silent of all communications. Expecting nothing more than rebellion the Baulder sent a division of the Dark Fleet to investigate and to restore order, but no status report was given by the ships they sent out. Soon later more planets fell, their intelligence network debated on what to do, during this more planets fell including their Homeworld.
The rate of expansion of this unknown enemy was astonishing, far exceeding even that of the entire Dark Fleet. As a last resort, the Dark Fleet brought the bulk of their forces back from the expansionary frontier for a blind assault and with help from the Rakata Empire but they only sent a handful of ship to assist on whatever was eating its way out of the empire‘s core worlds. When a single, heavily damaged warship from the Dark Fleet appeared out of hyperspace in orbit of a planet on the empire‘s perimeter, the inhabitants decided to board the ship. What they found were the remains of a once battle-hardened crew driven mad with fear.
In a rare act of autonomy the remains of the Baulder decided to abandon their own space and basically say to the Rakata "you can have our planets for were not coming back here". For the next 10,000 years the Baulder refugee fleet travelled from system to system, dropping warning beacons on their way, spending only enough time to replenish their resources before moving on. No matter how far the Baulder travel, their warning beacons fall silent; their unknown adversary continues its march toward their extermination, but for some reason they never touched the Rakata almost like this unknown threat had a personal vendetta against the Baulder.
Knowing well enough that they couldn't keep running they took control of the forest moon of Endor and dug in deep pillaging other nearby worlds for their resources.
The Dark Fleet
The Dark Fleet was the symbol of strength through out every would the took broadcasting their victories to them as a show of force to who ever thought to Rebel. The Fleet consisted of hundreds if not thousands of ships each ranging from Frigates, cruisers, destroyers and dreadnoughts.
A small division of the fleet were slavers who's sole purpose was to take anyone who could of use to them in their empire either as a workforce in mines or as personal gain.
Cultures: Baulder culture is unlike the other races, where others strive for progression of free will the Baulder use enforce labour and slaver to further their empire. Baulder use eugenics to "advance" Baulder growth by directed reproduction and the artificial augmentation of their genome. Genetic adaptation is also used on Terrans to increase their survivability on different types of planets. Examples of this process include genetic changes to respiration so that toxic atmospheres can be survived without the need for environmental suits, or to produce massively increased sub-dermal fat to increase body temperature on frigid worlds.
Unlike the Rakata who killed and ate their slave workforce the Baulder kept them alive under cruel and harsh conditions. When they were done with a planet they would strip it clean of resources and otherwise turn it into a dead asteroid. Within their own ranks they had honor with one and another anyone who was foreseen dishonourable would have their memory wiped and treated as another slave, very few Baulder act without honor.
When the the Baulder were sent to conquer a world they first gave the occupants a single chance to surrender and conform to their beliefs, their life style, if they were to refuse the offer the Baulder would then take their planet and fleets by force with no second chances.
Technology:
Sensors Their sensors are also highly advanced, they possess the strongest sensors in the known universe once they established a satellite they are able to detect enemy movement across a star systems.
Force Sensitive: No
