I'm trying to find a photo that will go along with my character. So far, google and deviantart don't cut it, plus Photobucket seems to be under maintenance and limited in it's search results. Anyone got alternative sites I could look up for force user art?

I personally rely on Bing. Google was always a resource of last resort for me if Deviantart failed. It also depends on the kind of character you are trying to make as to what images will be of most use to you.

In my personal experience it is, yes. Its searches are more relevant without throwing every image at you that might have been tagged with one word in your search, like Google likes to do.
