Bio: Gimos was born on the planet Nar Shadaa. His father was a bodyguard for a Hutt crime lord by the name of Jara. His mother was a dancing girl, who coincidentally was fed to an adolescent Krayt Dragon shortly after childbirth because she never recovered her "dancer's figure". Gimos grew up in the Hutt palace, being doted on by the servants and dancers throughout his childhood.
As he grew up, Gimos befriended a young girl who had been purchased as a slave -- a human named Kita. When Gimos was 13, he started to be sent on local missions by his Hutt handler. The first few tasks were simple: retrieve this, find that, buy a pet for the Hutt, meet with a contact. It was not until he was 17 that Gimos went through something that would change his life...
While sitting in the throne room with the Hutt and several of his constituents, Gimos witnessed his childhood friend (and now girlfriend) Kita stumble and knock over a very expensive Huttese vase. In a fit of rage, Jara ordered Kita be fed to the Acklay kept under the throne room. As Gimos watched in horror, his own father stripped the girl and threw her into the pit.
The Acklay started to stalk the terrified girl as Gimos bolted for the pit. He slammed into the back of his own father, sending him tumbling into the pit to land on the Acklay. The creature immediately tore him apart, but during the confusion Gimos grabbed a blaster rifle from another guard and pulled the pin on a grenade in his belt. Blaster fire and explosions filled the throne room as Gimos dove into the pit...
When it was over, Gimos had killed Jara, the Acklay, and several of the guards, but he had saved Kita's life... at least for the moment. The two teenagers hurried to the exit of the palace. Once they were outside, Gimos found a landspeeder and he started trying to bypass the security codes. That was when he heard a gunshot and a gasp. Kita had been shot in the back by a sniper, Jara's best bounty hunter, a particularly nasty Trandoshan known only as X. Gimos screamed and cradled the girl in his arms as she died. X watched the whole situation and decided not to kill the boy... he would suffer enough.
After several years of doing odd jobs around the Outer Rim, Gimos managed to get a job with a salvage crew. He learned the trade and then set out on his own, earning a decent living thanks to a few more "illicit" salvage operations, eventually salvaging a badly damaged Defender Corvette and spacing its crew. Now, Gimos works independently around the galaxy doing salvage and smuggling runs wherever there is opportunity.
