Bio: Aleena Twilight was born on Mandalore to a family of simple farms. While all Mandalorians were warriors, her family chose to spend the period between the call to arms as farming wheat. It was an honest living and one that Aleena's father, Mathew, was proud of.
Aleena grew up on her families farm, while she showed signs of force sensitivity, her family had no idea of it. It was only a chance encounter with a Jedi that Aleena's life would change forever. Just a few months after Aleena's thirteenth birthday a ship crashed in one of their fields. Aleena, always the first to know such things lead her father to the ship where a single man that was injured laid.
Aleena's father took the man back to the house and they treated the man's injuries. After two days the man awoke and identified himself as Jedi Master Alix Jagger. Alix insisted that he leave as he had information to report to the Jedi Council but Aleena's mother insisted he needed several more days of rest.
Alix believed strongly in the will of the Force and agreed that he crashed here for a reason. It did not take Alix to long to find his reason. Later that day Alix noticed the little girl stick fighting with her older brothers. He watched as she easily out maneuvered him, almost always seeming to predict where he was going to strike next. Alix reached out with the force and was shocked to find a young girl so strong in the Force. It was even more shocking to him was the amount of control she seemed to have without training.
Alix eventually confronted the child about her abilities. She explained about the strange feelings she would get and the nightmares that would occasionally come true. Alix simple smiled and looking Aleena in the eyes. He promised her that everything was okay with her and that she had the potential to become a Jedi. Aleena did not recoil from this comment, but said that she would never be accepted by the Jedi. Alix was shocked by this comment but Alix knew deep down she was right. The Jedi Council would never approve of a thirteen year old being trained as a Jedi.
Alix had a choice to make, leave and clearly deny the will of the Living Force or take Aleena back to the Jedi Order and force the issue of training. Alix approached Aleena's parents about the issue, to his shock they simple told him that Aleena was thirteen, an adult by Mandalorian standards, it was her choice to leave on a grand adventure or continue the family tradition as simple farms.
Alix then approached Aleena of the idea of her returning to the Jedi Order with him. She was unclear if she would belong in the Jedi Order, she stated that Mandalorian traditions and ideals where part of her, she could not simple forsake them for a new set of ideals even if they provide greater clarity into her abilities. Alix quickly jumped in that the Jedi Way was flexible and more over shared many common traits with her own mandalorian ways. He then pulled out his lightsaber and tossed it to her. Instinctual Aleena snagged the lightsaber out of the air and activated it. It felt right in her hands, the hum was almost musical as she swung it around in the air. Alix explained that the lightsaber was a symbol of the Jedi and pointed out just how well it fit her. Aleena quickly agreed to go. The Jedi claimed to be many things, but when she held the lightsaber she knew they were warriors.
Alix took Aleena back to the Corescant and the Jedi Temple. After reporting his finding on the state of affairs on Vorix, he brought Aleena in. He made it clear to the council that he was going to take her as his new padawan. The council strongly disagreed with the idea, not only was she to old but was was also Mandalorian. She would be to aggressive, would seek battle rather then peace. Alix defended Aleena with every fiber of his being and insisted that it was the Force that demanded it. The debate was headed for over an hour when Alix final played his cards face up. He told the council that he was going to train Aleena as a Jedi, or as a former Jedi. The Council could not believe the audacity of his comment, Alix was an expectational Jedi Master, having trained several of the Order's best Knight, know he threaten to leave if he did not get his way.
Eventually the masters accepted Aleena as Alix padawan but warned him that they would be monitoring her closely. Alix began to train Aleena as a Jedi. Her combat training went extremely well, Aleena showed and dancers grace when in combat that lead Alix to believe that she would become a Jedi Guardian. Aleena sited her Mandalorian training, however he abilities to manipulate the Force were lacking. It was clear that her mind was not as flexible as those of Jedi that began their Force training at a young age.
Aleena and Alix would often go on missions in the outer rim, where Aleena was imersed in the cultures of many worlds. The more mission she went on, the tighter she clung to Mandalorian ways. Master Jagger was concerned by it, but figured that she needed more time to find a balance.
During one of the mission to the outer rim, Aleena would construct her first lightsaber. While on a mission to Tatooine Alix was negotiating with Hutts to turn over a Jedi Holocron they obtained. Alix easily settled the term with the Hutts and a neutral location for the transfer was selected outside of Ancherhead. As part of the agreement, both sides arrived unarmed. The transfer went over smoothly, but then they were ambushed by Sand People. Alix and Aleena were separated, and Aleena was driven into the desert.
Alone on Tatooine with only the most basic supplies, Aleena knew she would need to find shelter. After stumbling through the desert for hours she found a cave. Slowly she entered the cavern. The cave was strange, the Force seemed to shutter with every step she took. As she made her way deeper into the cave something caught her eye, a strange crystal formation. She walked over and was almost knocked back by the force radiating through them. They were Durindfire crystals. She found it strange that two crystals would have grown in the open and not been harvested. Then she remember what her master always told her, nothing happen without a reason. She quickly collected the crystals and examined them. She then pulled out all here gear. She knew if she ran across a Sand Person, a lightsaber would save her life, either scarring it off or cutting it down.
Aleena worked throughout the night and by sunrise the saber was complete. It was a crude looking lightsaber by any standards, cobbled together from anything she could, but when activated the silver glow of the blade hummed sweetly. Aleena then collected her supplies and headed back into the desert to make her way back to Anchorhead and her master.
On her way back she stumbled across the Sand People raiding party that attacked them. They had Alix in chains and where dragging him deeper into the desert. Aleena ignited her newly constructed lightsaber and charged down the hill. The Sand People looked at her in horror as she closed the distance with them, deflecting their blaster shot. The group turned and fled into the desert, leaving Aleena standing victorious.
Alix was shocked not only was Aleena the one that saved him, but she was able to build a lightsaber out essentially junk. He knew she would make a fine Jedi Guardian. Aleena and Alix returned to the temple where Aleena was able to construct a proper set of lightsabers.
Everything was going will in her training until on one mission Alix was killed. It was a pointless death, not even a warrior death. Czerka planted a bomb in his speeder to make a point about Jedi interference with their work. Aleena was frustrated by this as the Jedi could do nothing sense they could not prove it was Czerka. Jedi were the keepers of peace and justice; yet there was no justice for Master Jagger.
Aleena resigned from the order, claiming she needed to find her own path. The Jedi Council tried to convince her to stay, they found that they were wrong about her. She was true to the Order and a contaminant Jedi. Aleena said she may return someday and hoped when she did that the Order would accept her back. Aleena then boarded a ship to the Outer Rim, not sure what she was looking for or what she would find.
