Alex got off the cargo ship he stowed away on, making sure no one saw him, and keeping his head down he walked away in a hurried pace. He had no money to catch a ride on a transport ship to Dromund Kaas.
Alex looked around at the beautiful, bustling, Kaas City. It certainly was breathtaking, although not as big as Coruscant, but he never got to explore Coruscant while at the Academy.
Just thinking of the Jedi Academy made him angry all over again. They were going to make him a normal soldier, his force powers would be wasted. It wasn't fair. He made initiate, and if the council wasn't full of such self righteous pricks, he would have become a padawan too. He knew he would have been picked by Ly'ara, she promised.
He walked the city taking in the sights, trying to put his troubles from his mind. 'I bet Akari is a padawan now. They always preferred her over me...' he thought bitterly, failing at clearing his mind.
To be completely honest, Alex didn't really know why he came here. It might of been the rumors about his father being here, that led him here, or the sith holocron he found in the library, that whispered this planets name to him. All he knew is that he felt like this was where he was supposed to be.
"Now, to find something to eat, I'm starving."

Sasha checked the loading bay doors once more trying to figure out exactly why her new prototype was malfunctioning, and she knew it had something to do with programming but wasn’t sure where in the coding she had gotten it wrong. She had built mini version of the Darkslicer trying to improve on the Eclipse like design but her smaller version of the ship would not open the cockpit. This would not do in her report to Mr. Dark but then again what did he like hearing now a days? His primary concern was the serum that seemed to increase force powers or force sensitivity. One that had been used on her without consent she might add though she was growing quiet fond of her new powers.
The ability to read people’s mind, even if it was just surface thoughts placed her with a new position of power over most of the common people. She decided to take the toy for a spin for awhile, maybe the programming would come to her in time. The small repulser lifts activated on the small ship and she began to pilot it outside of the building for a time. It was a good ten minutes before she tried an advanced maneuver with the ship. Only for it to spin horribly out of control, and smash into the chest of a random stranger.
“Remind me never to become a pilot,” she said to her wrist, which beeped in response. Her AI wrote a note amongst her files to remind her not to take the pilot course she had been wanting to take but kept putting off. Great now I have to hope this guy isn’t a Sith Initiate who wants to prove no one can mess with his hyperdrive settings. Sasha sighed and started up towards the man. “I’m very sorry, my ship seems to have malfunctioned again,” she said lying right off the bad. She tried to brush his surface thoughts to see if she was going to need to soothe his possible aggression.

Alex was walking around looking at all the food stands, wishing he had some credits because he hadn't eaten in almost a day.
He looked at what he had brought with him, a cloak, jedi initiate robes, the civilian clothes he had on, the lightsaber he cafted for himself, and the sith holocron he stole from the jedi academy archives. He also had a crystal necklace; his mother made one for both him and Akari.
He didn't really have anything he wanted to sell. He started to feel awkward walking around aimlessly now, since he couldn't buy anything. He went to head out of the market area when he felt something run into him really hard, and he fell square on his back.
As if he didn't feel awkward enough. He looked up to see what hit him getting ready to lose his temper when he spotted a girl apologizing.
"Eh, it's alright. But say, if you want to make it up to me, you could buy me lunch and we'll call it even." he said hopefully, picking himself up off the ground and brushing off the dirt.

Sasha felt the initial heat of anger but then it was soothed a moment later. She was rather glad he hadn't chosen to make a scene. Dr. Dark did not like attention being drawn to his scientists more than necessary. He was fairly secretive, and that is probably why he had out lasted all the Sith that had come before. She was however taken aback by the suggestion to buy him food, but she quickly recovered.
"Why certainly, it will give me a moment to work on this little thing anyways," said Sasha walking over to the counter cutting in front of line and showing the chef something from her datapad. He nodded before going back to work and she motioned towards a nearby table. "I come here often enough so they usually bring my food quickly."
Sasha sat herself down across from the man and did a quick observation of the man. He wasn't dressed like normal Sith around here, in fact quiet the opposite. Jedi robes? Well some initiatives did come from the Jedi though those were few and far inbetween these days. "So what brings you to Drommund Kas?" she said trying to bridge the conversation carefully. She rather hoped this boy wasn't foolish enough to come here on Jedi business, he'd only end up getting himself killed. While she waited she tried to exude an aura of trust, attempting to slip subtle manipulation into the conversation.

OOC: He is wearing civilian clothes. He just possesses jedi robes.
Alex was very pleased to hear her agree to his proposal. He watched as she skipped the line and wondered if she was supposed to be important or something. He followed her to the table trying to guess how she could be important. Was she a high ranking sith lord? A politician?
He sat down across from her at the table and took a look around at the city. It was still a sight to behold.
When she asked him why he was here he had to think for a bit. He had already questioned this himself. He didn't know for sure why, he just knew he didn't want to be a common soldier, he aspired to greater things.
"I don't actually know for certain, it just sort of called out to me. I guess that might sound silly. I just feel like I am supposed to be here."
Plus the holocron spoke of this planet by name, but he didn't know if he should tell her that. 'I guess I am also in need of a master if I am to continue my training with the force.' He thought to himself.
"So what kind of food did you order?"

"Most people who show up have that idea that something just.... drew them here," said Sasha as she tapped fingers waiting for the food. When asked about she had ordered for them she smiled but did not comment further. "Most are of the force sensitive variety seeking to gain more power and prestige away from the watchful eyes of the Jedi. Most don't make the cut after the few months, as the Sith way of cutting out weakness generally claims the lives of dozens each week."
The food finally arrived and looked to be some sort of BBQ'd meat cut into small pieces and served with rice. Sasha took up a spoon and started working at the food while thinking. She could point him in the direction of a dozen Sith Masters upon the planet but which one would end up accepting him? She didn't know, and why should she care? She made a few adjustments to her flying model while she waited for something to come to her.
"I work for one of the Sith on this planet though he's not really like the other masters. I'm not sure he'd take you on as an apprentice since he almost never takes learners in recent years," said Sasha as she powered up her prototype, and after messing with a few functions the cockpit of the Dark Slicer 2.0 opened. She grinned childishly before turning back to Alex and her food.

Alex was mildly annoyed that she ignored his question about the food. He didn't like when people ignored him, but he figured she might just want it to be a surprise.
He watched her tinker with her speeder. He had never seen a speeder like it before, though he had been cooped up in a temple most of his life, and before that he lived in a ghost town on Chinine with his mom and sister, and briefly his dad as well, though he wasn't around long enough for Alex to remember him other than watching him meditate.
"What kind of speeder is that?" He asked to kill the silence as they waited for their food.
When the food arrived he looked at it questioningly, he had never had barbecued meat before. He took a bite and savored the taste. The meals prepared for him at the temple were bland but edible, and more importantly full of protein for the mind and body. This was delicious, he didn't even know food could taste good, he just thought of it as important for his survival.
Alex looked up at the woman. "Thanks for the food miss..." he said trailing off as he realized he didn't know her name.
He looked at her strangely and suspiciously when she mentioned that she worked for a Sith and noted that she didn't know if he would take him on. Could she read minds? Was she force sensitive? He thought for a moment and realized it wasn't unlikely considering what planet this was and the fact that she said she worked for a Sith.
"May I meet this Master of yours anyway?" he asked hopefully deciding to ignore the mind reading although it did unnerve him a bit.

"It's actually a star fighter called the Dark Slicer but we may change the name with the 2.0 model. Depends on what the marketing decides," said Sasha finishing her food and pushing it away. She waved a datapad over a terminal to pay for the food and then turned back to Alex. "Sasha Duvara. Though I think Sasha would do fine at this juncture."
She took a moment to think carefully about introducing a potential prospect to Mr. Dark for his interests usually were very hard to guess. "Yes, I think I could arrange for something like that. Would you be up to perhaps to displaying your skill with a lightsaber? There is an upcoming tournament later today that he will be attending. He is usually bored with the tournaments but maybe you might impress him," said Sasha trying to lightly draw from what she could from his subconscious. She had managed to touch that he was confident with a blade, a skill that Mr. Dark seemed to value despite he hardly ever engaged in combat when his men could handle the situation.
"I suggest if you get his attention then you would need to impress upon him that you are not wasting his time," said Sasha suddenly seriously. "People have a way of disappearing around him."
