This coupled with his tanned skin, and black hair makes it fairly easy to guess his race though only for those familiar with human like races. He is mildly handsome and despite his age he appears to be in his late twenties because of his race's slow aging. Before he would wear a black jacket over a brown shirt with a necklace full of credits but since his transformation he cannot take off his suit least he be greatly crippled.
Personal Items: A necklace of Onyx that shows he is of a noble house on Panatha. Unsure of why he keeps the fragment of his past, since he had no memories from before.

Optic replacement: Subject Arch Angel has had his natural eye sight removed, and replaced with cybernetic optics that will help him see better than even the most observant of humans. It has the capability of being overlaid with Augmented Reality displaying things from weather predictions on the local holonet, or gun bullet trajectory with an installed gun's smart system. His eyes are capable of up to a twelve times zoom, and capable of recording anything he sees to be stored in back up to be accessed later.
Muscle Replacement: Most of the Subject's natural muscles have been removed and replaced for mechanical versions, that increase the effectiveness of Arch Angel's strength, speed, and stamina. With these replacements Arch Angel will be capable of amazing feats, and all here at the department are excited to see the full capacity of what Arch Angel will be able to accomplish.
Dynamic Neural Interface: In order for him to be able to keep a hold over most of his systems, and power certain ones on, and off the subject Arch Angel has been equipped with an irreversible DNI into his central nervous system. It is important to this project that the Subject be able to effortlessly activate different modules.
Synaptic Boosters: Arch Angel has been equipped with a suite of boosters to dramatically increase reaction times to incoming threats as well as decision making while on the offensive. While it was originally requested that this system be active at all times, previous subjects have had difficulty acclimating. As a result it was decided it would only activate when the subject's stress levels begin to rise or the increase of adrenaline in his system.
Hacking Suite: While Automated hacking is not always the most useful when it comes to more complex systems, or when engaging another hacker in cyber-warfare we have sought to give Arch Angel the best automated hacking software we could find. It is quite capable of hacking into basic encrypted networks, and with time could potentially decrypt military grade though this would take an exponential amount of time. It should do well enough to bypass basic security systems.
Fingerprint Sculptor: The ability to bypass encoded Biometrics was the next concern in creating our ideal image of Arch Angel. As such a Finger Printer Sculptor was designed to be able to duplicate any finger print the subject could find and bypass such security.
Retina Scanner/Replicator: As with the Fingerprint Sculptor the idea behind this was the same. Allow Arch Angel to pass Biometric encoded locks.
Voice Modulator: This piece of equipment serves two purposes. Like the two Biometric authentication techniques above this should allow the Subject to emulate many different speech tones, volumes and even patterns. It even has the capability of producing sounds a human could not normally make, allowing for even more effectiveness when imitating a difficult alien language.
Monomolecular Vibro-Arm Blades: Hidden in the subjects arms are blades that can extend out from their arms. These blades have been sharpened to a molecular level to give the maximum cutting efficiency and made out of Beskar to maintain their sharpness before being attached to the vibro technology. Plasteel was first used but found to wear out quicker than the Mandalorian armor. *Special Note: replacing these blades is rather expensive since the Mandalorian smiths will not share the forging techniques.*
Electrical Discharge: Built within the palms of the subject's arms are five eject-able prongs that can shoot out electricity from the subject's palms. The technology is built off of the droid shock arm technology of old. The output of this module takes an excessive amounts of energy with prolonged use. Despite its lack of energy efficiency it was included as another tool of the Arch Angel Program.
Stealth Field Generator: As with all Stealth Field Generator's they are as a whole, unreliable. Upon insistence from the higher ups this faulty piece of equipment was integrated into Arch Angel despite consistent protests that if the subject preforms as expected a stealth unit would be redundant. The draw on Arch Angel's power supplies when using this module ends up being almost completely power consuming. As it stands from fully charged Arch Angel is only able to run fifteen consecutive minutes before running out of energy. This is with stutters, and failures added into the mix.
Embedded Commlink: A high end Commlink has been integrated into the subject Arch Angel's DNI for use of AR (Augmented Reality), Communication, and access to the holonet. It has a local range of about two miles at the extreme end of things. The commlink is the master control for more of the modules, and processes the AR functions such as the Smartgun System. Allows Arch Angel to monitor his vital signs, and power levels.
Biomonitor: The subject has a network of sensors to monitor his vital signs, so that they may not push themselves past the point of no return. These sensors are a build in safety net, that will turn off in the event that it might cause permanent damage to the subject.
Bio: Lin wasn't born a robotic state of the art assassin robot. His life began as any organic. He began to grow up pre-clone war. His people enjoyed distance from the main part of Republic politics. He was trained into a military family and raised to become an officer. He had rather basic training in warfare from small arms to rifles. His training in hand to hand and close and personal fights ranged on the practical instead of more fanciful showmenship of the Enchani. His father had hired a Mandalorian tutor at a young age since he was busy most of the time with politicking.
Lin's first official combat was when he was fifteen fending off pirates on a return trip to the core. A series of events had cut off his part of the ship from his father's men, and he had been the one to organize against the Pirates and forcing the engagements into tight hallways in order to slow their inevitable victory. Having managed to at least stalemate the pirates for four hours it had allowed his father's men to come to the rescue, and he was awarded a medal of bravery. He was soon whisked off to republic academy's to train him up and let him see the galaxy before returning home a veteran like his family wished.
In the republic Navy he managed to get to an officer rank before the clone wars kicked off. While the clones did most of the fighting, by the second year of the war he was commanding his own squad of clones. Despite being of the same stock he admired their ability to personalize and find own voice despite the mass cloning. His squad ended up gaining a reputation for great success in covert ops, and had been pulled to train as special shadow ops team when the republic wanted deniability. On one particular ops against an attempt on General Grevious his men were burned as one of his squad mates had decided to cut and run, revealing the attempt and allowing Grevious to set a trap with his Magna guards.
This was Lin's first loss of limb as one of his arms was pulled off by the droids inhuman strength. He wasn't left to die however as General Grevious ended up ordering him to be interrogated. It was a full three years he under went as a prisoner of war even after the clone wars had ended. Finally a stormtrooper brigade broke into the separatist stronghold and managed to free him. Upon learning who he was and his military record it was commissioned that he have his arm replaced with a robotic arm.
With the forgery of the new Galactic Empire, his skills there then employed to track and hunt down escaped Jedi. He proceeded to throw himself into this task, refusing to work with anyone after the death of his previous squad. Often if he was assigned one he would end up sending them off on another lead while he perused his primary target. On the third Jedi he managed to track down the planet Ord Mantell in the slums of a city he managed to finally find one that had been giving aid to other people. One of those people who had been helped had tipped off an Imperial Officer and then it had been reported to Lin Yao.
The battle was a close one with the Jedi having the home field advantage but despite having the superior weapon and the force at their disposal he came out on top. The pinnacle of his accomplishment gave him yet another loss of limb. He had attacked knowing full well he would loose a limb, but knowing equally well the Jedi would expect that to stop him. His third Jedi kill down, he luckily did not die of blood loss due to the Jedi's weapon, and the irony of this was not lost on him.
Having replaced arms, he began to delve into different weapons that he could conceal within his arms, and illegal modifications that could be attached. Imperials Arms Requisition masters were much more lax now, especially with someone so effective at bringing in Force Sensitives. It was another good while before he was involved in any other army activities.
Lin ended up fighting against the Rebel Alliance towards the start of his 40's having returned home to visit his family on shore leave. Having been tortured and lost for three years he had a hard time reconnecting with society when he had seen what aliens and humans were capable of. It was easier to focus on his service which made his family proud from afar. His ties were strained for the years with the war against he Rebel Alliance and his father died some time before the Battle of Hoth. While not having taken place at the Battle of Hoth and Endor he was involved in cursory battles elsewhere. With Lord Vader and the Emperor defeated the power structure of the Imperials had been cut off at the neck which left him fighting battles with unclear backup, and sometimes taking on near suicide missions. The last mission he had as himself was one that took place right before the battle of Jakku.
Rebel's had been gaining momentum and he had been sent in to gather intel on Nar Shaddaa where lots of information flowed freer than most planets about the Alliance. He learned that Panatha had given their support, and one of the particularly strong families that had ordered it was his family. He passed the information along. They tried to keep him out of the loop that a punishment and troops to Panatha was being sent but Chang managed to get wind of it and went AWOL to Panatha. There he tried and failed to protect his family giving the Empire hell. In the end a frag grenade had finished any fight he had left, and blow his legs off and nearly left him dead.
An Imperial scientist saw him as a great opportunity to start it's cyber initiative program, and managed to snatch him up before he could be executed as a traitor. With the plans to inhibit his ability to remember who he was and disobey ordered he was given the go ahead. For the next five years Lin spent having his body replaced and systems programmed into him. His life became tests, and all he could remember was captivity with flash backs to his captivity by Grevious' men. At one point this caused a psychotic break where he killed a good portion of the facility. They managed to subdue him and put even stronger placement coding against him remembering his memories.
At the end of the five years while the Empire had already signed the Galactic Concordant they had managed to develop a cyber super soldier capable of amazing feats years too late. The project though a success was given no further funding due to the lack of additional funds and the state of the Imperial Remnant forcing the department to seek additional forms of funding. This is how Lin Yao Chang gained the Moniker "Arch Angel." He worked through mercenary, illegal hutt space deals, and other black market ops that would pay well for a person to get the job done. He particularly was suited to assassinations.
About a month ago, a group of Black Sun attacked the facility to try and gain control of Lin Yao Chang by having access to their computers, and attempt to coerce the ability to control the super soldier. He was ordered to kill the Black Suns, and then after killing the Black Suns he returned only to have the last remaining scientist to give him a prime directive of.... "Survive and live well..."
Since then Arch Angel had been a cold blooded assassin, taking money to 'survive' and trying to figure out what it meant to 'live well.' He currently believes it means wealth, and power for they are said to keys to 'living well.'
