Bio: Malcolm was born to an Corellian Imperial Commander who simply went by Commander Antilles. Word was Antilles was with the Rebellion in its opening years as an Imperial Agent. Eventually, he split and returned to the Empire, and was given command of increasingly larger ships throughout the Galactic Civil War. His final ship, handed over after the Battle of Hoth, was a Super Star Destroyer Prometheus. This ship was still being worked on at the time, and was being equipped with a cloaking device. Additionally, it had weapons with Kyber crystals. Production was finished by the Battle of Endor, and it was en route to it with a fleet in tow when word reached them that the Death Star was destroyed and the Emperor dead. Reverting back to his younger days, Antilles went back to his mindset in his earlier life, and left for the outer rim, taking his fleet with him. By this time, Mal was but a small child.
Mal grew up with the Prometheus as his home as his father and Fleet reverted to piracy of the Outer Rim and further reaches of space. Prometheus Became a solid Command ship, staying in a single point in space along several trade routes while the smaller ships, namely Imp stars of various classes, cruisers, vettes, and the such, drove targeted ships into each other or the SSD. Occasionally, these ships would be brought into the fold that was this Pirate Fleet.
Mal grew up basically as Royalty, him a Prince of the Prirates. He was taught combat, tactics, and whatever else was necessary for him to survive as a Pirate, and out on his own if something happened, including piloting. Also, directly by his father, the art of using the force, which he picked up over the years. Slowly, he was becoming someone who would be a great leader.
Mal would get his chance soon enough when he was sent to do pirating. 20 years old, he was brought in a small pirate force with a CR-90 Corvette. He was shown the ropes on the front line, and within three years, was leading his own group as his father placed more ships under his command. By 27, Mal was quite well known as more than simply a Prince. It was also around this time that his Father was assassinated in an attempt to bring the Fleet back into an Imperial fold. Antilles's guard stopped the coup quickly, and Malcolm was forced to take up the mantle.
The first change he did was begin to incorporate Aliens into their group. The Previous Imperials were against it, so Antilles never brought many aliens in, save for entertainment value but with Mal leading them, he did, knowing that they could be much more crucial than not. Mal soon became known as being more ruthless than his Father, taking more risks for better profits, and taking in more ships and personnel. He also beefed up his personal Guard.
Mal also wanted to have an actual planet or system to call home rather than skipping around from system to system, space lane to space lane. He also wanted to become more than a pirate force. He heard so much, and missed out on so much,, and he wanted to make a bigger name for himself. For that to happen, Malcolm has agreed to look into working with several other parties.
