Peace! Or that is what the galactic news would have you believe. The Empire's ultimate defeat at the hands of the Rebel Alliance has shattered much of the structure of the galaxy. As the New Republic tries to pick up the pieces of old, the factions of the old Empire continue to fracture and consolidate power. The Imperial Remnant has gained the most traction with the destruction of the First Order.
It has been years since the Galactic Concordance was signed forcing what was left of the Empire to stay to the Outer Rim, and no longer actively conscript stormtroopers. There are rumors however that a military force is being built in secret despite this but reports are hard to come by in the Outer Rim.
The Force users who had been hunted or conscripted by the former Emperor Palpatine have been allowed to flourish without a clear defining path forward. There are those that seek to return the Jedi Order back to its place in the galaxy, while others are weary of such influential and powerful figures ever holding such an important role in the galaxy again. Only time will tell whether they emerge again, or if they remain hidden away.
