Well the republic turned into the Empire, and the current factions are Mandalorians, Federation (considered the good guys) and then there's the empire.

ooh, btw. Seeing as this is the first new person in a while, I'm goin to start somethin, i think the mods/admins should do as well, seeing as nobody gets a free 10k, anymore for joining up, i am going to donate a free 15k to new members, unless they are claimed by other ppl
