Orugan was a strange and shifty man. Greasy black hair, a mottled complexion, tall but never standing quite straight. Greed could easily be read in his eyes. His seedy quality grew into one of discomfort under the gaze of the large man who had come to his shipyard. The other man was massive, and wore all black. He was clean and looked like he had shaved recently.
"This one...how much?"
The man's curt, deep voice vibrated in Orugan's head and chest as though he had said the words himself. The stranger had indicated Orugan's most prized ship...the one that he had been hoping to retire on.
"Er...ahhh...Sir...that ship may be slightly out of the price-range that we previously discussed. It's worth at least five times what you said you're willing to paaaaaay."
The weasel of a man's voice went an octave higher as the large man turned his yellow eyes to stare. Cursing inwardly, Orugan began to rephrase before he was cut off.
"I'll pay twice what I offered...It's fair..."
Orugan sputtered and started again.
"B-but Sir! This is the best ship in our yards and-"
"And your ships are over-priced. It's fair."
The man's tone was level as he told Orugan what was fair in his own shop. It moved the greasy man to rage. He began to shake and sputter even more.
"No! No! You pay what I ask! That's how business works here on Coruscant! I don't know where you're from, but I'm calling security. I'm going to count to five, and you had better be off of the premises."
"I'm going to count to three...take the offer."
Completely shocked, it took Orugan a few seconds to press the button on his belt that called two droideka units rolling into the room. What happened next was too fast for him to comprehend.
Riddick drew his lightsaber, springing with inhuman speed and meeting one of the droids before it could lift its energy shielding. With two slashes he cut it neatly into four pieces. As he turned he extended his hand, dashing the other against the far wall and unleashing a burst of lightning, frying its circuitry. He sighed over the soft hum of his weapon.
"You should have bargained with me..."
Spinning around, Longfellow decapitated Orugan with one long sweep of his blade. He then deactivated the weapon, placing it back inside of his cloak. He looked out at the ship that he was going to take.
