Ok, so i'm at work this morning. I get a phone call. I pick it up and answer with my usual "Hello you've reached CG Base Ketchikan, Petty Officer Adams speaking how can i help you."

This lady says. "Petty Officer"

I say "yes ma'am."

Her: "are you a volunteer?"

Me: "well... um.. i volunteered to join the coast guard if you mean."

her: "wait... you aren't in the gynecologists office?"

Me: "....what?"

her: "The gynecologist, isn't this the gynecologists office at the hospital?"

Me: "No ma'am!"

her: "oh, well she gave me this number. are you sure?"

Me: "Yes ma'am this is the military ID card desk at the coast guard base."

her: "oh, ok then. sorry to take up your time *click*

Me: *slams phone down* "I AM NOT A GYNECOLOGIST!"

That's funny, usually the only wrong numbers I get are in Spanish or sometimes other languages but usally never in english so I usually just hang up right away... XD but that was funny
