Welcome to the BHOD's 3rd annual short story competition. Here our members will get to show off their writing skills and put George Lucas to shame. But first, there are a few guidelines that we need to go over.
All stories will be judged based on a score of 1 to 10 and the story with the highest average score will be the winner.
The top three finishes will be given their choice of one of the following prizes.

Items (For use in BHOD DnD):
[/li][li]Dark Matter
Worth: 100 credits
Description: Forge with a melee weapon or use in a lightsaber to unleash Night Slash* on critical hits.
*- Night Slash
Type: Dark
Base FP Cost: 10
Description: When used in combination with a weapon, Night Slash downs a foe instantly. A successful Will save will leave the victim with 1HP. A successful Reflex save will cause this power to miss.
DC: 5 + attacking character's level + attacking character's wisdom modifiers.
[/li][li]Terresta Crystal
Worth: 5,000 credits
Description: An exceptionally rare shard of the destroyed planet Terresta. When used in a lightsaber this crystal grants a +10 to damage as well as turning the lightsaber's blade a black color with a dull gray glow.
[/li][li]Disruptor Pistol
Worth: 1,000 credits
Damage: 1D4 (a 4 causes an instant kill)
Description: These pistols are illegal in many planetary systems, being regarded as too powerful a weapon to be owned by civilians. Disruptors reduce solid matter to its constituent molecules, in effect, disintegrating them.
Infantry (For use in BHOD RP):
[/li][li]Basic Infantrymen (10,000)
Armor: Standard issue plate armor. Offers good protection against edged weapons, poor protection against ballistics and no protection to lightsabers.
Weapons: Standard issue blaster rifle and two frag grenades.

- All stories MUST be based on Star Wars/BHOD canon. That means no vampires, werewolves or spartans. It has to be within the Star Wars universe.
- All stories must be short enough to fit into one PM (under 20 pages in Word using 12 point font).
- All completed stories should be PMed to me, the admin.
- Stories will be judged by a panel of 5 anonymous members. If you'd like to volunteer for this job, please PM me.
