Kill Anybody For No Reason...

Galvatron turned to Shard who was coming at him with the lightsaber, "A jedi?" he questioned with a smirk just as he forced the door to the core open, Galvatron took a step back and rasied his hand forcing more energon to grown behind Shard blocking him off from his commrades. Galvatron stumbled forward when he was tugged on with the force, growling he pulled out a giant mace like weapon and swung at Shard trying to smash him into the ground.

Drake and Roshi both came to a stop near the crystal wall that had just appeared "Shard!" Drake yelled out "We need to find another way around to help him" Roshi said with a calm voice. "That way...another entrance..." Steelhide said pointing.

Shard's lightsaber came up and he blocked the mace which was infused with dark engergon, allowing it to resist the blade of the lightsaber. Still, force of the blow cracked the ground under Shard's feet and his arm servos struggled against the strike.

Shard, the crystal within his droid body began to glow brightly as he channeled the Force into his droid body. "It's just you and me Galvatron!" Shard said as he overclocked his droid body with the power of the Force.

Galvatron laughed as Shard channeled the force through his body this made Galvatron back up slightly as he held his hand out and tried to corrupt Shard with the dark energon, "No, its just me Shard!" Galvatron replied creating dark energon crystals between him and Shard, Galvatron turned and made a break for the core of the planet "My time is now I shall be the Emperor of this world and any other" he said in a loud laugh.

Drake and Roshi ran around to the other side just as Steelhide instructed "Damn this is taking forever!" Drake yelled "Where's the other door?" he questioned. Roshi shrugged “I don’t know just keep looking, it has to be around here somewhere” he said through his heavy breathing as they continued running.

"Oh, no you don't!" Shard yelled and gripped Galvatron around the waist with the Force and yanked him back into his own wall of crystals. "You want the Core, your going to have to fight me for it!"

Shard blasted at the crystals with his sonic cannon, detonating them like ice sculptures hit by a sledge hammer. He had to think of some way to goad this Galvatron into fighting him if it meant keeping him away from the Core.. "I don't think your worthy to be an Emperor. Emperor's are supposed to be strong, not pathetic like you."

Galvatron growled when he was pulled back "You fool you have no idea who you are messing with!" he yelled as he aimed his cannon and fired at Shard. "You dare question whether it is my right to rule?" he yelled "I shall show you just how foolish you really are" he said pulling his mace back out to challenge Shard to a fight.

Drake and Roshi made it to the other door and looked around "Great now how do we get in?" Drake questioned "Don't know" Roshi looked around for some controls "Lets just hope Shard can keep Galvatron busy until we figure it out" Roshi continued saying.

"your right to rule? What makes you think you have any right to rule. Your just a machine. I mean if you wanted to... TANK MISSILE!" Shard fired a mini concussion rocket at JPG. Dueling with melee weapons was fun and all but he wasn't about to kill himself fighting a 30 foot tall robot with a weapon the size of Shard's torso.

Galvatron growled when the missile was fired at him he tossed his mace at the missile hoping to use that as a shield. "Tank missile?" he asked as he laughed and transformed into a large tank he aimed his cannon at Shard and fired at him. After firing he turned back into his robot form "I am so much more than this shell, I am everywhere, even if you were to destroy this form I would return much more powerful than you could imagine!" he yelled.

Drake and Roshi looked around as they walked into the large room with a glowing sphere in the middle "Is that the core?" Roshi asked "Looks to be, we need to get around to the other side and help Shard" Drake said as they started running towards the sound of battle.

"Drake!?" Roberts yelled from his place behind cover when Drake and Roshi ran into the Core room. "Drake Hellion?"

The man stood up and removed the helmet from his powered armor, revealing his face to be that of Jor Halcyon. "Please don't tell me all this is your fault. Did you crash your fighter into someones palace and kill the droid princess of Raxus Prime to spark off the Droid civil war of the millenia?"

Shard put his hands up and made a shield with the Force to block the blast from the cannon. The blast struck and Shard went flying backwards against the dark engergon crystal wall behind him, cracking the wall and then fell forward onto his hands and knees. "Wow... my first fight with a monologging villain." He grumbled to himself as he stood up. "Look it's ok to fight but can you shut your trap while your doing it? It's destracting."

Shard ignited his lightsaber again, no more willing to go up against the 30 foot robot than he was a minute ago, but at least without the giant mace he stood a better chance. He triggered the rockets on his back and flew towards Galvatron saber extended. Just before contact, he channeled all the Force in his body into his shoulders and arms and performed a mighty swing, arcing his lightsaber down onto Galvatron's chest.

Drake and Roshi came to a stop and got behind cover when the man called out to him, Drake's eyes widened "Jor?" He questioned in complete shock, he really wasn't expecting to find him there. When Jor asked the question Drake laughed "Yeah if only it was that simple right. There's this psycho transforming droid over there trying to infect the core of this planet and turn it into a giant Force Weapon" Drake explained to him. "What the hell are you doing here, I thought you were running a casino?" he asked.

"Ahem" Roshi said "As much as you two would probably like to catch up, like Drake said, psychotic droid bent on universal domination is in need of some stopping" Roshi said. Drake sighed "Right right, so how long have you guys been fightin here?" Drake asked Jor.

Galvatron laughed "Talking is half the fun" he growled when Shard came at him with the saber Galvatron held his hand out and created a blade using dark energon, though it was fairly suicidal move as when Shard saber slammed into the crystal it would explode possibly killing both of them.

"psycho transforming droid over there trying to infect the core of this planet and turn it into a giant Force Weapon." Jor said, repeating what Drake just told him. "Well, it's good to see your still having fun."

"i've been here for ohh... i don't know. An hour or so i think." Jor said.

The female voice in the collar of his suit spoke up at this point. "To answer your question accurately Master Hellion, we've been on this world one hour, 23 Minutes and 14 seconds, 15, 16, 17..."

Jor reached up and touched the mute button. "Rita says hi too. Lets go save the Universe."

Shard's lightsaber made contact with Galvatron's Dark Energon sword and when the two combined there was an explosion. The lightsaber energy refracted through the dark crystal sword causing it to fracture and explode with energy. Shard was thrown back again, sliding across the ground before finally tumbling backwards to land on his front. He picked himself up on his hands and knees.

Shard the crystal was undamaged but his droid body didn't fair as well. His face covering had sheered off in some places showing the circuits underneith. His transforming sonic cannon was stuck in it's hand form. His back rockets were malfunctioning and he was having general power failures. "This is getting old pretty quick."

Drake shrugged "Well yeah, its sorta a long story I guess, we should ask the psycho droid when we find him" he laughed. Drake sighed "Yeah yeah hey Rita" he replied to the AI as he stood up "Right lets get moving" he said. Roshi looked over after hearing the explosion from the Dark Energon and the lightsaber colliding. "I have a feeling that Shard may be in need of our help" Roshi said running out of the cover going towards the dark energon wall. Drake started to follow.

Galvatron started to stand up slowly after the explosion, his left arm was missing and his chest had a gapping hole in it, his jaw was missing on his face too though it would not stop him. He would have the core "Creamtar!" he called out "Detroy te Entrace!!!" he ordered though it could hardly be made out with his injury. Galvatron held out his hand making the energon wall decend into the ground.

He looked at the core "So...close..." he slurred going to it slowly.

Jor followed after Drake and Roshi. He put his helmet back on as he rushed behind them. He was getting old but at least he could still keep up with his best friend.

Shard on the other hand was having more problems. His power loss in general was keeping him from moving quickly and keeping up with the damage reports his body was giving him was preventing him from concentrating enough to use the Force. Still he wasn't giving up.

He gut up and followed after Galvatron, his weapons were malfunctioning or depleted but his lightsaber still worked. He ignited the red blade and hurled it at Galvatron's back like a boomerag.

Drake, and Roshi continued on till they saw the wall of crystals start to vanish, they came to a stop seeing the damaged Galvatron struggling to get to the core. Drake looked at Roshi who nodded at him they both cupped their hands and held them out.

Galvatron moved slowly to the core but was hit in the back with the lightsaber, it caused him to crash into the ground. His body started to fall apart, but all he needed to do was corrupt the core, he'd get a new body. "Almost there!" he yelled as he reached out to the core suddenly Drake and Roshi lept in front of him. "Nah you wasn't even close!" Drake yelled as both he and Roshi fired Hadoumehamehas directly into Galvatron's face.

The droid's body was blown apart by the attack but before hand he sent out a wave of dark energon that slammed into the core "I still win!" Galvatron yelled before his body was destroyed. Drake and Roshi turned around seeing the core starting to turn purple. "Dammit" Drake growled "What can we do to stop this?" Roshi asked.

"Now is the time" Steelhide said slowly walking to them "We must select a new Prime to save the core...perhaps...perhaps Shard can do it, he has proven himself a capable warrior" he said leaning against the wall.

Shard slowly made his way into the Core room and retrieved his lightsaber. "But i'm not even a droid. I mean i have a droid body but wouldn't the core need to interface with an actual program?"

Jor punched shard in the shoulder with his gauntlet. "Just do it big guy. If if it can only interface with a program it won't be able to hurt you. And if you can interface with it you might be able to help."

Shard couldn't argue with the logic. He approached the core and extended his computer uplink from his hand. His wireless airport didn't work anymore but he could guess that this thing was the source of all the networks he had scanned earlier.

"here goes nothing i guess." Shard said, and then reached out and plugged his uplink into the core.

Drake and Roshi stood there waiting for Shard to do what had to be done. Once he plugged in with a little encouragement from Jor the core began to glow once again. Drake, Roshi and Steelhide. "He who would protect the core" A loud voice called out "I am the core of Raxus Prime" it started to say "Those who have fought hard to protect this world I give my thanks" it finished. "No problem" Drake said Roshi el bowed him in the side

"Shard, you have shown courage that most Autodroids never come close to, for this you have been choosen to be the new Prime" a piece of the core seperated from the whole and floated to Shard "This is the Matrix of Leadership, as long as you protect this, the core can never fully be corrupted, accept your destiny and become Shard Prime" it finished.

Drake leaned into Roshi and Jor "Okay this is just gettin weird" he said in a whisper to them.
