The Omega-13 Stingray exited hyperspace just outside of the gravitational field of the planet Mandalore. It slid listlessly for a moment before seeming to orient itself towards the planet. Inside of it, Mariella looked around for the A-wing that belonged to the man who was to be her partner. Seeing it come out of hyperspace, she initiated contact.
"I'm sending over the coordinates for the Mandalore's enclave. It should be a short trip, but I'm not entirely sure that they are expecting us."
As she sent the coordinates Mariella pushed her craft towards the planet and Mandalore's enclave.

A wing of twelve StarViper-class Attack Platform launched from Aran Orbital Station and headed towards the two fighters which long range sensor picked up. As the StarViper's closed they picked up the transponder codes and got a unknown regestration. The leader of the flight open a communication channel to the two unknown fighters. "This is StarViper Squadron Swordman deployed from Aran Orbital Station. Your transponders are not registered in our system. State your clan affiliation or business with the Mandalorians." The Swordman Leader transmitted to the unknown fighters. At the same time he and the other eleven StarViper's charged weapons and fortified there forward deflector shields.

The Stingray's sensors picked up the fighters just a bit after Mariella's own senses did. She waited for them to initiate contact and sent her answer back, barely thinking.
"Clan Ma...I mean...I am Mariella Map, a consular of the Jedi order. The Council on Corbenic wishes me to parley with Mandalore or a Proxy to Mandalore."
Mariella stared off into space, upset. What troubled her most was that she did not know which bothered her more: That she could not help but think of herself as part of clan Map, or that she could no longer identify herself as such.

Aznable's awing exited hyperspace right after Mariella's stingray. His astrodroid beeped when it recieved the coordinates "Thanks" He said, he was still wondering why Roshi had sent him on this job, this really wasn't his style at all. He started to pull his awing over to the stingray when they were hailed. He listened for Mariella's response and the response of the ships that had hailed them. He was wondering if he would have to pull out any connections he may have hidden away. Such as dropping the name of a certain Mando he knew, though Aznable figured that Mariella could handle this herself he waited to see.

On the ground the Mandalorians received a message that the space station had picked up a ship in their system. Not one to be jumpy Davros looked around the consul. He had no idea why he had gotten stuck with this job, but he figured it was better then engineering their ever growing town. More men and women of all species flocked to the Mandalorian cause, either for some vengeance against the Empire or protection. It seemed they got all the members unwilling to go to the federation, and more of the rough crowd it seemed. He tapped a finger at the desk he was at, waiting for an update. They usually didn't patch communications to him unless it was important.

Swordman Leader listen to the response and rolled his eyes. The last thing anyone would want is for a Jedi in the camp. He pushed a commincation button. "Roger that Jedi Consular. While we are currently on friendly terms with both the Federation and the Jedi Order I am request you approach weapon and shields powered down. I have also registration your fighter and your escort fighters transponder with temporary passes. Planetary defenses and Tower Defense well allow you pass for twenty three hours and not a nano-second more. I am also sending landing coordinates just outside the settlement and the location of Taung-class Strike Carrier which Mandalore is using as headquarters." His fighters broke off and headed to Aran Orbital Station. They also sent a message to the settlement informing them that diplomats where coming down.

"Acknowledged. Thank you, Swordman. Let's go, Aznable."
Mariella brought her ship down into atmosphere, following the coordinates that she had been given to the carrier. When it came into sight she patched another message through to Aznable.
"I think I should do the talking."
The Knight's words were confident, but she was fluttering inside. Not only was this her first mission, but it touched on any number of sensitive subjects for her. She docked with the carrier and shut down all systems.
"Stay with the ship, R5..."
Mariella opened her cockpit, locating Aznable and descending to the deck.

Aznable followed behind Mariella as they headed to the designated landing area. He landed his awing and started to power down the systems as he did, "Fine, you can do the talking...still not sure why I'm here though" he said to her as he picked up his ear piece and put it in so that they could stayed connected until they hooked up on the deck. Aznable climbed out his awing and went towards where he saw Mariella's vessel he waited for her to get to the deck "So, how do you want to go about this?" he asked her "I mean besides you doing all the talking?" he finished his question as he made sure his swords were all strapped on and ready.

"Generally a lightsaber is a strong negotiating tool, whether it is ignited or not...not with the Mando'a...Bludgeoning will get us nowhere with them. You can't rule Mandalorians, you can only hope that you make sense to them. We're just here to talk, and get as far as we can."
Mariella cast her eyes around, unhappily aware of Aznable's uneasiness...and her own. He donned her cloak and awaited the dock officer's approach.

A mandalorian entered the room Davros was in, which was nothing special. He was updated all the time, but this time it seemed the Mandalorian had something important to say.
"Well?" asked Davros slightly impatient with the man's silence. After a brief moment of prolonged silence the mandalorian officer spoke in a rushed tone.
"Sir, it seems a Jedi has come to meet Mandalore," said the officer as he remained still. Davros eyebrow twitched for a moment before raising.
"A Jedi here on Mandalore? Didn't think they wanted any part in this war. Just like the Mandalorian wars, they didn't lift much of a finger to help until the end," said Davros before thinking over what he was going to do. Mandalore was gone so they were going to have to settle with meeting one from his clan. He knew rumors of a Jedi would be flying around the settlement almost as soon as the ship landed, it was a good thing the Jedi were now respected after all these years as a formidable opponent. There were still those who held resentments passed down by their forefathers however. "Send a runner to guide the Jedi, I want to make sure relations with the Jedi don't turn sour on my watch when Mandalore's back is turned. I'll meet them out front."
"Right away," said the officer leaving. Davros stood up moving towards the edge of his desk and picked up his dark brown helm. As he walked forth through the hallways of the Taung he placed his helmet on his head the hud almost immediately activating and running routine protocols. As he exited the ship Davros looked around seeing the vibrant colors of all sorts of personalized armor. Most Mandalorians were busy doing something, such as training, working, or dueling in the many dueling rings that had popped up. He noticed that many of the younger members of Clan Ordo had begun to sport Mandalore's insignia. Cin vhetin He had always thought the bloody words amidst Mandalore's white armor had a dual meaning. That his past no longer mattered like that of white snow, but also used in a sarcastic manner that his white snow had been tainted with blood so that he could never forget. He was curious as to whether these young bloods understood what imagery behind it.
A mandalorian scout wearing a half helmet visor covering most of the right side of his face in holo approached the Jedi and her seemingly body guard.
"Welcome to Mandalore, forgive the construction but with each passing day there are more and more people who answer our call," said the Mandalorian scout. "I'm afraid Mandalore is not available to have an audience with however a representative from Clan Ordo can speak to you instead and has instructed me to escort you."
The Mandalorian purposefully left out that Mandalore wasn't busy off in just some random errand to be bothered by the Jedi, but that he was actually risking his life in one of the age long traditions. The travel to Mandalore the First's tomb. It stood to reason that an outsider needn't know about this, and if they did it was quite possibly they might also deduct how vulnerable the Mandalorians might be for a short time should Mandalore fail in his task.

Out of courtesy, Mariella gave a slight bow to the scout and put on a cordial smile. Having been born on Shogun she had had no contact with Clan Ordo in her childhood, but everyone knew the name. Ordo had produced many powerful and influential Mandalores.
"A meeting with Mandalore's proxy will do nicely."
Mariella turned and gave a slight nod to Aznable as if to say 'relax' before turning and following the scout. As attentive as ever, the Jedi picked up on all of the various activities around her. Hearing a conversation being carried on in her native tongue, she immediately yearned to speak it. She switched flawlessly to Mando'a.
"May I ask what is keeping esteemed Mandalore away currently?"

Aznable crossed his arms when the guy came over to them Aznable didn't get this at all, why was it they were here, that was the obvious question. He turned to walk with Mariella as she went to folow the scout, it was clear they were at war "So, how is this war going for you guys?" Aznable asked, he wasn't going to hold his tongue, though he wouldn't say anything to get on their bad side. "I heard you were having issues, or at the very least needed more allies" he continued on speaking to the scout.

The man motioned them onward and they asked questions of him. "I'm not sure what you've been hearing, but since Nar Shaddaa, we've had operations in Kuat, and Alderaan. We destroyed the Sith base on Korriban. I not sure what you've been hearing, but the Mandalorains have been getting things done. Hundreds of people pour in daily to join us, so I'd say the war's going well. As for allies... there are rumors that we've allied with someone powerful," said the man rounding the a corner and nodding to Darvos in the distance who gave him a knowing nod in return. "This man will answer the rest of your questions."
Davros looked over who had been sent to meet with him or rather requested the audience with Mandalore. It seemed one was a jedi and the other looked rough around the edges. His mandalorian visor picked up on the weapons that were showing on the outside of their body. A mandalorian would often judge their enemies, and allies by how much fire power they brought to the parley. The more weapons, the more respect they had towards your prowess.
"Greetings, I am Davros Ordo," said Davros figuring introductions where in order. "I've heard you seek an audience with Mandalore. I'm afraid he's preoccupied at the moment, but he extends his hospitality. We don't get to many Jedi here, but you've yet to hinder our war effort against the Empire and thus you aren't barred from entering Mandalore space."

Mariella bowed to Davros exchanging a traditional Mando'a peace greeting before returning to basic.
"Honor my offer of truce, for I would not willingly shed my brother's blood. We are of peace, always. I've actually been sent in the hopes of gathering information to better coordinate the relief efforts that the order is taking part in. It has been decided that the Jedi will not join this war on either side."
The Knight's smile was gentle. She had been taught to present herself on equal footing with the person she was negotiating with when she was representing the order. People tended to respect that.

Aznable bowed as well just as a show of good will, he did not believe in their way but the Mando's were known for their honor at the very least. He went back to crossing hiss arms he was wondering why he was sent on this peace mission, if someone wasn't about to get shot, stabbed or mamed it seemed that Aznable had no place there. Maybe Roshi was trying to teach him some sort of lesson, he would have to beat it out of the old man later. Aznable turned his attentions back to what was being said at the moment "So, the war's going good eh?" he questioned "Funny as I was under the impression the empire was super invincible with the way they keep picking fights with people" he joked as he continued to walk with them "I doubt the Jedi will be hindering anybodies war, from what I understand they've been quite busy themselves, not to mention they have rather low numbers right now" he added.
