Rated: T Summary: This story you are about to read is a crossover cannon story between The Phantom Menace and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles featuring characters from the series. Though it contains some of the characters from T:TSCC it has a lot of twists and turns that are not expected along the way. This Role Play/Fic is somewhat based off The Phantom Menace Script from supershadow.com with some interesting twists and turns. Disclaimer: The Star Wars universe and original characters belong to the creator, George Lucas who had no idea what he was getting himself into on May 19, 1991 when Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace first hit the big screen across the nation. I do not own any of the following OC characters that are mentioned in my story. They belong to members and staff on Legions of the Force on zetaboard. However I do own one OC character who will be mentioned at the end of the story in a special thank you credit scene. In fact I dedicate this story first to the members on our site if they either participated/read the role play. Secondly I would like thank my crazy staff on LOTF (Legions of the Force) because they have done a lot to this site to make it fun and they have been very helpful to me and our new members. Before you read I will say this: this story you are about to read is an AU (Alternative Universe) fan fiction story based on The Phantom Menace Role Play that was done here on Legions of the Force. Hope you enjoy reading our version of Episode I: The Phantom Menace because we all had fun writing parts for it. Chapter 1
Pan down to reveal a small Republic space cruiser with its red color with the symbol of ambassadorial neutrality, heading toward the starry blackness of space as it heads toward the beautiful green planet of Naboo, surrounded by hundreds of Trade Federation battleships. The Trade Federation ships were huge, blocky citadels, split at one end that captured an orb that protected the bridge, communications center, and the hyperdrive. Armaments came from every port and bay. The traditional Republic cruiser, with its tri-engines, flat body, and squared-off cockpit, looked unimportant in the shadows of the Trade Federation battleships, but it came toward them. Enter into the Republic Cruiser to the cockpit where the captain and copilot maneuver closer to one of the battleships.
A tall, cloaked figure stood in behind the Captain and her co-pilot, silently observing the situation. Force knows how this negotiation is going to turn out, Qui-Gon mused, shaking his head slightly. “Captain,” he finally spoke up, directing his attention to the young woman piloting the cruiser.
The Captain turned to an unseen figure sitting behind her. “Yes, sir?”
Qui-Gon crossed his arms slightly over his chest. “Tell them we wish to board at once,” he said softly, before giving a quick side glance towards his apprentice. “You need to stay focused, Obi-Wan. These negotiations will most likely be unpleasant and very short. The Neimoidians are not known for their diplomacy,” he said telepathically.
The Captain looked at Qui-Gon and said, “Yes, sir.”
The captain looked to her view screen, where Nute Gunray, a Neimoidian Trade Federation Viceroy, his reddish orange eyes stared at them as he waited for a reply. He also had a sour expression.
“With all due respect for the Trade Federation, the Ambassadors for the Supreme Chancellor wish to board immediately,” she said to the viceroy.
Obi-Wan looked at Qui-Gon and said telepathically, “I know.”
Viceroy smiled slyly at the Captain. “Yes, yes, of course...ahhh...” He paused for a split second, before continuing again. “As you know, our blockade is perfectly legal and we’d be happy to receive the Ambassadors...” He trailed off a second time, a greasy smile tugging at the corner of his lips as he did so. “Happy to,” he added finally.
The screen went black. The captain hesitated for a moment. “Sir?”
“Proceed, Captain,” Qui-Gon Jinn said.
Out of the cockpit window, the Jedi Master watched silently as sinister battleship loomed closer and then exited to the Federation Battleship Docking Bay. The small space cruiser docked in the enormous main bay of the Federation battleship. They entered into the Federation Battleship Docking Bay Space a protocol droid, TC-14 waited at the door to the docking bay. Two worker droids known as PK-4 and EG-9 watch as TC-14 approached the ambassadors.
“They must be important if the Viceroy sent one of those useless protocol gear heads to greet them,” PK-4 said.
The door opened and the Republic cruiser can be seen in the docking bay. Two darkly robed figures are greeted by TC-14. “I’m TC-14 at your service. This way please.”
They move off down the hallway.
“A Republic cruiser?! That’s trouble…don’t you think?” EG-9 asked.
“I’m not made to think,” PR-4 replied.
They entered into the Federation Battleship Conference Room and a door slid open and the two cloaked shapes are led past camera into the formal conference room by TC-14.
“I hope you honored sirs with the most comfortable here. My master will be with you shortly,” TC-14 said.
The droid bowed before Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. She backed out the door and it closed. The Jedi lowered their hoods and looked out a large window at the lush green planet of Naboo. Qui-Gon is sixty years old with a beard and mustache that was close-cropped and long brown hair in a ponytail. He was tall and striking, with blue eyes. Tunic, pants, and hooded robes were loose-fitting and comfortable, a sash binding them at his waist where his lightsaber hung out of view, but within easy reach. Obi-Wan is twenty-five, with very short brown hair with a hairstyle of a Padawan learner with his tightly braided pigtail that hung over his right shoulder, pale skin, and blue eyes. Several exotic, birdlike creatures sing in a cage near the door.
“I have a bad feeling about this,” Obi-Wan said as he looked around.
Qui-Gon scowled slightly as he looked over at his apprentice. “I don’t sense anything,” he replied, walking over towards a window, and gently tugging on the sleeves of his cloak.
“It’s not about the mission, Master, it’s something...elsewhere...elusive,” Obi-Wan said as he continued to look around.
Qui-Gon gave a bit of a sigh before speaking. “Don’t center on your anxiety, Obi-Wan. Keep your concentration here and now where it belongs,” he said, glancing over at Obi-Wan again. ---------------------------------------------- Meanwhile somewhere else on the ship a string of curses could be heard as a young woman in her mid thirties walked down the corridor.
Jedi on board the ship...Just what I need, Kira thought darkly to herself. She stopped for a brief moment and shook her head. No need to worry over that now, there was a mission to complete. An annoyed sigh escaped her lips as she started walking again. Damn you, Jay. I’m becoming more of a smartass everyday thanks to you. She grinned slightly at the thought.
---------------------------------------------- “Master Yoda says I should be mindful of the future,” Obi-Wan said as he looked at Qui-Gon. I wonder how the trade Federation will handle this?
“They will say to hell with them and blast them into oblivion,” said a familiar voice out of nowhere.
Obi-Wan whirled around and glared at the girl.
A young woman with shoulder-length dark brown hair and dark brown eyes stood in front of Obi-Wan. She also had a mechanical right hand, when she lost her real hand in a duel. She wore black eyeliner with a light shade of black eye shadow that has a light touch of silver sparkles that brought out the color of her dark brown eyes and red lip-gloss.
“What are you expecting Obi-Wan?” Kayla asked. “A kiss and flowers?”
“Not from you, my dear,” Obi-Wan replied cheekily and Kayla scoffed.
Qui-Gon chuckled softly as he shot an amused look at the pair. “Good to see you again, Kayla,” he said warmly, before turning his attention to Obi-Wan again. “But not at the expense of the moment. Be mindful of the living Force, my young Padawan,” he advised.
A small smirk tugged at the corner of Kira’s lips as she leaned against the wall outside of the room that the Jedi were currently in.
This could prove to be interesting, Kira mused, gently resting her left hand on one of her dual M9 Magnums that were holstered to her thighs.
“Yes, Master,” Obi-Wan said as he looked at Qui-Gon and Kayla.
“Good to see you again as well, Qui-Gon,” Kayla said. “I smell cowards and scum.”
“How do you think the trade Viceroy will deal with the chancellor’s demands?”Obi-Wan asked.
“They will probably welcome us with open arms and then when we are least expecting it they will blast us into a super nova,” Kayla joked with a grin.
Obi-Wan glared at Kayla and sighed. “Do you ever take anything serious?”
“If I did that then we would all be deep bantha poodoo,” Kayla retorted.
Qui-Gon chuckled again. “These Federation types are cowards. The negotiations will be short,” Qui-Gon mused as he scowled slightly, before glancing around. “Hmm...seems that we’re not alone,” he said. “Can either of you sense another presence nearby?” he asked both Kayla and Obi-Wan.
Kira swore again. “Shit.” She quickly pulled out her M9 and gripped it tightly. Yep. This will definitely prove to be interesting, Kira mused, her body tensing slightly in regards to the coming confrontation.
Obi-Wan turned around and stretched out with the Force and Kayla did the same.
“Yes,” they both said at the same time.
Obi-Wan glared at Kayla in annoyance and rolled his eyes. She is going to be the bloody death of me.
Kayla snickered and said, “I know that presence very well. I’ve met her before.”
“You sure it’s a female?” Obi-Wan asked.
“Dead serious,” she replied.
---------------------------------------------- Meanwhile back in the Federation Battleship-Bridge Nute Gunray stared disbelieving at the protocol droid before him. “What?” he choked, and shook his head. “What?! What did you say?” he finally demanded.
If a protocol droid could shrug, TC-14 would. “The Ambassadors are Jedi Knights, I believe.”
Nute Gunray’s aide, Dofine shook his head in dismay. “I knew it!” He sighed. “They’ve been sent to force a settlement. Blind me! We’re done for!!” he said, glancing over at Gunray, giving him a pleading look and hoping that he’d have an idea of how to get rid of the Jedi.
---------------------------------------------- Back in the negotiation room, Kira smirked slightly as the door finally slid open. “Well, well, well. Look at what we have here.” She grinned, keeping her M9 pointed at the floor, for now. “Jedi being sent to negotiate with the Trade Federation? That’s just asking for trouble right there,” she added.
Qui-Gon scowled at the young woman. “The Jedi are the guardians of Peace and Justice. The negotiations may be short, but they will go as planned,” he said firmly.
I hope, he added silently to himself.
“I sense a lot of anger and resentment in you, young one,” he mused, looking at Kira in a curious fashion.
Kira gave an amused snort. “What? Did your famous Jedi senses tell you that?” she asked sarcastically, leaning against the doorframe.
Qui-Gon scowled even more, as he took in her appearance. Black boots, black pants, dark navy top along with a black jacket.
A bounty hunter, perhaps? This cannot end well. Qui-Gon flinched at the thought, before turning his attention back towards Kira.
“I think some introductions are in order,” he said, gesturing towards Obi-Wan. “This is my apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi and I’m Qui-Gon Jinn,” he finished, glancing back at Kira. “And you are?”
A wicked grin tugged at the corner of her lips. “That’s for me to know and for you figure out...” She trailed off for a brief moment. “Eventually,” she added slyly, gently resting her thumb on the safety of her M9.
“Well, well, well, if it isn’t the infamous Kira Solaris,” Kayla said with a cheeky grin.
Obi-Wan looked at Kayla and asked, “How do you know her?”
“Long story,” Kayla said gravely.
“We’ve got time,” Obi-Wan said. “Enlighten me.”
Kayla scoffed at Obi-Wan. “Suddenly the famous Kenobi is jealous?” she teased. “Well, we met on Kessel where she was working with another bounty hunter I was tracking down at the time. She managed to escape, but now she is on my hit list.” Kayla glared at Kira.
“For once she is on someone else’s case and it’s not mine,” Obi-Wan muttered to himself.
A short, amused laugh escaped Kira’s lips. “Aye, that mission was fun, wasn’t it?” she asked, grinning at Kayla. “Oh really? I’m on your hit list?” she said, raising an eyebrow in amusement.
Qui-Gon sighed and shook his head. “Women,” he muttered.
Kira chuckled again. “And like hell you could catch and arrest Jay,” she said, before continuing. “And blowing up that bunker wasn’t entirely my fault, you know. Jay wouldn’t speak to me for a week after that,” she said, rolling her eyes.
“Oh yes that was so much fun,” Kayla said as she smirked. “But if you or Jay ever pull a crazy ass stunt like that again you and him will both be on my hit list.”
Obi-Wan looked at Qui-Gon and asked, “Master, why do we always get the insane women?”
Kayla snorted and said, “Because we are the only ones who would bother to even save your sorry asses. Let’s get a move on before we get our ass in a crack.” She glanced at Kira and said under her breath, “Maybe we can cause some more trouble while we’re here.”
Kira outright laughed at that. “I’d thoroughly enjoy seeing you say that to his face, Kayla. The only reason he tolerates you is because if he doesn’t, I’ll beat him to a bloody pulp and make sure that he can never have children.” She thought for a moment and grinned.
Qui-Gon shrugged and gave his apprentice a hopeless look. “The will of the Force, maybe?” he said, though somewhat unsure of it. A slight twinge in the Force caught his attention. “Dixosis!” he said, as a cloud of greenish-grey gas hissed softly out of a nearby vent.
Kira cursed again. “Stupid Feds,” she muttered, before inhaling deeply.
Kayla snickered. “I figured it had something to do with that,” she said as she pulled out a grenade and grinned.
“Will of the Force?” Obi-Wan asked in outrage. “My ass it is. I swear Kayla has had it---” He looked up and noticed Kayla had a grenade. “What the hell?” he sputtered as he glanced at Kayla in disbelief. “You’re insane, you know that?”
Kayla glared at Obi-Wan and snapped, “And you are a hypocrite, but we’re not complaining about that now, are we?” She threw the grenade just as the Dixosis filled the room.
BOOM!
The wall exploded and Kayla leaped through the hole. “Have fun,” she said as she pulled out her blaster.
Obi-Wan looked at Qui-Gon with raised eyebrows and asked, “May I just smack her one just this once?”
Kayla cackled. “You smack me and I’ll castrate you with my lightsaber, Kenobi!”
Meanwhile in the Federation Battleship Hallway a hologram of Nute Gunray, surrounded by battle droids, appeared in the conference room hallway.
“Nicely put, Kayla.” Kira grinned as she followed the other woman out through the now smoking hole that Kayla had conveniently made with her grenade.
Qui-Gon sighed and shook his head. “This mission is definitely beginning to prove interesting,” he said, igniting his emerald green saber.
---------------------------------------------- Trade Federation Bridge Gunray smiled slyly as the dixosis ventilation cycle completed. ”They must be dead by now. Destroy what’s left of them,” he said, via hologram to the commanding droids.
Trade Federation Hallway the hologram faded off, as a battle droid, OWO-1, cautiously opened the door. A deadly green cloud billowed from the room. Battle droids cock their weapons as a figure stumbled out of the smoke. It was TC-14, carrying the tray of drinks.
“Oh. Excuse me,” TC-14 said, as she quickly made her way past the battle droids.
“Thanks,” Kayla said with a smirk at Kira. “I learned from the best.” She winked at Obi-Wan and she ignited her orange lightsaber and began firing her blaster. “Let’s turn these droids into scrap metal.”
Obi-Wan ignited his blue lightsaber and said, “Master, you know how I said earlier I had a bad feeling? Well it’s still there and it’s not going to go away anytime soon.”
Kayla cackled at what Obi-Wan said. “Lighten up Kenobi,” she said. “You know you love my random moments.” More droids entered the area. “Let’s tear them apart,” she said as she slashed her saber into a nearby droid.
Obi-Wan glared at Kayla and said, “Just as much as I love having a headache.”
---------------------------------------------- Meanwhile in the Federation Battleship Bridge the bridge was a cocophony of alarms. Nute Gunray and Rune watched OWO-1 on the view screen. “Not sure exactly what---”
OWO-1 was suddenly cut in half in mid-sentence. Rune gave Nute a worried look.
Gunray blinked. “What in blazes is going on down there?!” he asked, glancing at the view screen, then back at Rune.
“Have you ever encountered a Jedi Knight before, sir?” Rune asked curiously.
Gunray blanched. “Well, not exactly, but I don’t…” He trailed off as he cursed softly. “Seal off the bridge!” he ordered, causing Rune to shake his head.
“That won’t be enough, sir,” he replied, earning a pointed glare in response.
“I want droidekas up here at once!” Nute snarled.
“We will not survive this,” Rune muttered quietly.
---------------------------------------------- Trade Federation Hallway appeared a green blur was all that was seen as Qui-Gon cut through another battle droid. “This way! The bridge is just ahead!” he shouted, decapitating another droid in the process.
Shots rang out as Kira fired her M9 Magnum at a battle droid in front of her. “What I’d give for my 12 gauge flechette shotgun right now.” She sighed, giving her head a bit of a shake, before planting her foot into the chest of the same droid she shot at.
Qui-Gon scowled as they finally reached the door to the bridge. “It’s being sealed off. We’ll have to find a way through,” he said.
Kira grinned as a thought came to mind. “I could try hot-wiring it,” she suggested, receiving a pointed look from Qui-Gon in response.
“We don’t have time for that. We need to get through that door,” he said, as he began cutting through the door with his lightsaber.
“Men…can’t live without them and you can’t live with them either,” she muttered to herself, though making sure it was loud enough for her companions to hear.
Kayla shoved Kira out of the way and she placed a thermo detonator on the door.
BOOM!
The door flew off and Kayla snapped, “Hurry the hell up you lazy, good for nothing pile of bantha poodoo!”
“If I hear one more insult I swear Master I’m going to break her leg,” Obi-Wan growled.
Kayla cackled and then threw another thermo detonator down the hall.
BOOM!
---------------------------------------------- Meanwhile in the Federation Battleship Bridge, the crew was very nervous as sparks start flying around the bridge door. Kira, Kayla, Obi-Wan, and Qui-Gon were on the view screen.
Gunray cursed. “Close the blast doors,” he ordered. The huge, very thick blast door slammed shut followed by a second door, then a third. There was a hissing sound as the huge doors sealed shut. Qui-Gon stabbed the door with his lightsaber. The screen went black as a red spot appeared in the center of the blast door.
Rune blanched. His eyes widened at the sight. “They’re still coming through!” he said.
Gunray shook his head in panicked disbelief. “This is impossible!” he said, receiving an agitated look from Rune.
“Where are those droidekas?” he asked, annoyed.
---------------------------------------------- Trade Federation Hallway ten destroyer droids rolled down the hallway at full speed. Just before they got to the bridge area, they stopped and transformed into their battle configuration. Qui-Gon did not see them but sensed their presence.
“Destroyer droids,” he said, pulling his lightsaber out of the door.
“Shit. Well, you’ve gotten yourself into a real mess this time, haven’t you, Jedi?” Kira snarled, glaring at both Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan. “Then again, I guess Jedi aren’t known for subtlety,” she added sarcastically.
“Offhand, I’d say this mission is past the negotiation stage,” Obi-Wan said as he blasted a droid into the wall.
“Can it Kenobi or I’ll shove my saber up your ass,” Kayla snapped as she pushed Obi-Wan down and sent a massive Force-push toward the droids. Then she laughed at Kira’s remark. “Just like last time when we were on board that deathtrap ship on Kessel that was crawling with clankers,” she said with a wink.
The wheel droids, led by P-59, rushed into the entry area from three hallways, blasting away with their laser guns. They stopped firing and stood in a semi-circle as the smoke cleared. Kira, Obi-Wan, Kayla, and Qui-Gon were nowhere to be seen.
“Switch to bio...there they are!” P-59 said.
The Jedi and bounty hunter materialized at the far end of the hallway and dashed through the doorway that slammed shut. The wheel droids blast away at the three Jedi and bounty hunter with their laser swords and shotguns.
“They have shield generators!” Obi-Wan said.
Kira chuckled softly at that. “Aye, that was fun too. Though I’m just glad that Jay didn’t find out about that little adventure,” she said, cringing at the thought.
Qui-Gon scowled. “It’s a stand off!” he said, motioning for the women to follow. “Let’s go!” he added. ---------------------------------------------- Trade Federation Bridge Rune smiled smugly as he and Gunray watched the retreating forms of the male Jedi and their two female companions. “We have them on the run, sir. They’re no match for droidekas,” he said, grinning even more.
“Sir! They’ve gone up the ventilation shaft!” Tey How said. ---------------------------------------------- Trade Federation Hangar Bay Qui-Gon, Kira, Kayla, and Obi-Wan appear at a large vent in a giant hanger bay. They were careful not to be seen. Thousands of battle droids were loading onto landing craft, causing Qui-Gon to scowl slightly.
“Battle droids,” he said in amusement.
“It’s an invansion army,” Obi-Wan said.
“Yep considering the fact it was Jay’s fault for that damn scrap,” Kayla said. Then she pulled out her cable launcher and said, “Come on, Kira we’ll meet you guys down there.” She grabbed Kira and landed on board one of the crafts.
Obi-Wan looked at Qui-Gon and muttered, “Women. You can live with and without them. They’ll drive you to drink or worse…your grave.”
Kira snorted at that. “Yeah, well he is a magnet for trouble,” she said, smiling slightly at the thought of the Mandalorian bounty hunter, whom she had known for about seven years now.
Qui-Gon sighed as he watched the two women took off. “It’s an odd play for the Trade Federation. We’ve got to warn the Naboo and contact Chancellor Valorum. Let’s split up. Stow aboard separate ships and meet down on the planet,” he suggested.
“You were right about one thing, Master,” Obi-Wan said. “The negotiations were short.” He smirked cheekily.
Kayla cackled and said, “Kenobi is also a magnet for bloody trouble or for wanting to shoot him in the head.” She laughed. “So what have you been up to besides chasing after Jay? Is he in hiding?”
Meanwhile back in the Federation Battleship Bridge Tey How received a transmission. “Sir, a transmission from the planet.”

Chapter 2
Kira blinked at that. “‘Chasing after Jango’? Me? Oh come on, Kayla,” she said, rather quickly. “I---I mean he’s more of a lone wolf...more interested in rebuilding the Mandalorian legacy, really. Not to mention that I’m perfectly happy being single, thank you,” she added, a slight reddish tinge adorning her cheeks as she spoke.
---------------------------------------------- Trade Federation Bridge Rune smiled slyly. “It’s Queen Amidala herself,” he said, glancing over at Gunray, earning an equally sly smile in return.
“At last we are getting results,” Gunray mused.
On the view screen, Queen Amidala appeared in her throne room. Wearing her elaborate headdress and robes, she sat, surrounded by the Governing Council and four handmaidens, Eirtae, Yane, Rabe, and Sache.
---------------------------------------------- Kayla laughed when she saw Kira blush. “You are attracted to him for the same reason he is attracted to you,” she said with a smirk. “You both love to piss each other off and you care about protecting those you love.”
Kira glared at the younger woman. “What makes you think I’m attracted to him?” she asked, trailing off for a moment. “And how the hell do you even know that he’s attracted to me?” She thought for a moment and grinned. “And it’s mostly me who likes to piss him off,” she said snickering. “Though I can’t argue against that last statement,” Kira mused.
Kayla smirked and said, “How I know is because you guys do the same thing that Obi-Wan and I do. I like pissing him off because I’m younger than he is and I know it gets on his nerves even though he loves it.”
Kayla smirked and said, “Besides you both will do anything to make sure the other is safe in the end.”
Kira shook her head and sighed. “Despite the fact that he doesn’t say much,” she said in amusement. “He just glares,” she added with a chuckle. “And that last bit is only because I’ve gotten on his good side. Considering that he and I have known each other for seven years now.” Kira smiled slightly as she sat down on the metal floor, leaning her back against the wall in the process.
“How did you two even meet?” Kayla asked as she sat down. “While you tell the story I’m going to annoy the hell out of Kenobi.”
Kayla reached out to Obi-Wan through the Force and said, “How’s it hanging?”
Obi-Wan growled and hissed back through the Force, “Get the hell out of my damn head.” He shook his head and muttered, “Women.”
Kira thought for a moment, then laughed. “On Outland Station. I was sent as an informant, slash partner for him. Though he wasn’t too happy about that,” she said, pausing for a split second before continuing. “Though Roz, his associate, on the other hand, was quite happy to see that Jango’s informant was a woman for once.” She laughed at the memory of the meeting. “She kept teasing and pestering him that since I was around his age, that the two of us could become a pair…Then Jango told her to shut up in his own unique way…” She grinned again as a thought came to mind. “Enough of my love life…well…non-existent love life. What about yours?” she asked slyly.
Kayla sighed and said, “I have no love life. I’ve been part of the Jedi since I was a kid myself. Although I do look up to Kenobi. Tell him I said that and you’re a dead woman.” She smirked.”I became a Jedi Knight at the age of 22. And here I am again with your ugly mug.”
“Ouch. Harsh,” Kira said with grin again, gently rubbing the back of her neck in the process. “Admit it your life would be boring if you hadn’t met me,” she added, resting her elbows on her knees and her chin in her left hand. Why the hell does he have to be so unique and handsome? Kira quickly banished the thought before it could finish. ---------------------------------------------- Trade Federation Bridge Nute Gunray smiled as a holo image of Queen Amidala came into view. “Again you come before me, Your Highness. The Federation is pleased,” he said smoothly. ---------------------------------------------- Kayla rolled her eyes and said, “Yes it would. And admit it if you never met me then we would not be in this mess in the first place.”
“You will not be pleased when you hear what I have to say, Viceroy...Your trade boycott of our planet has ended,” Queen Amidala said sternly.
Gunray smirked slightly as he glanced over at Rune. “I was not aware...” he trailed off purposely. “Of such failure.”
Droid transportation ship Kira closed her eyes, allowing herself to relax. “True enough, I suppose.”Am I attracted to Jay? Or is it something more? Augh….Damn him. This is all his fault...stupid Mandalorian, she scowled and shoved the thought aside while trying to regain her focus. ---------------------------------------------- “I have word that the Senate is finally voting on this blockade of yours,” Amidala said.
Onboard droid transportation Kayla snickered as she watched Kira argue with herself about whether she loved Jay or not. Kayla knew she had to if she couldn’t stop thinking about him for more than five seconds.
Gunray sneered as he turned his attention back towards the Queen. “I take it you know the outcome,” he replied. “I wonder why they bother to vote,” he added.
Droid Transport ship Kira asked, “So, what’s the plan for when we get off this goddamn transport ship?” She finally opened her eyes and glancing over towards Kayla. One false move and this whole situation may become FUBAR, she thought, frowning slightly.
---------------------------------------------- City of Theed, Naboo Jesse Solo sighed as she straightened her military uniform. “You know, if the Senate and the Republic really wanted to end the occupation, then maybe they should get off their asses and do something other than talking and squabbling in the Senate chambers,” she said sarcastically, glancing over at Sabe. “The Feds are stupid and they’re cowards. All they need is a little push and they’ll back down.”
---------------------------------------------- “I’m aware the Chancellor’s Ambassadors are with you now, and that you have been commanded to reach a settlement,” Amidala said.
Kayla smirked and used the Force to jack open the hack and Force-leaped out of the transport. “Just follow me and try not to get yourself killed or Jay may have to kick my ass.”
Kira chuckled slightly and jumped down. “Yeah, then I’d come back from the dead and kick your ass too,” she quipped, winking at Kayla, while drawing her M9 Magnum and cocking it.
Trade Federation Bridge Gunray smiled slyly. “I know nothing about any Ambassadors...you must be mistaken,” he said smugly.
Kayla laughed and shook her head. “Time to turn some droids into scrap metal,” she quipped.
Amidala looked surprised at his reaction and studied him carefully.
“Beware, Viceroy....the Federation is going too far this time,” she said gravely.
Gunray inclined his head slightly in a subtle, mocking gesture. “Your Highness, we would never do anything without the approval of the Senate.” He thought for a moment, and grinned. “You assume too much,” he said finally.
Naboo Swamps Kira agreed with Kayla. “No argument there,” Kira agreed. “How do you think the men are fairing right now?” she asked, smirking slightly at the thought.
Theed, Naboo with Jesse and some other people. “Damn it to all,” Jesse muttered, as she made her way out of the city and towards the swamps. “The Queen and the Senate aren’t thinking clearly. We need to strike now or the Feds are going to do something stupid,” she added darkly. “When that happens, it’ll be J-Day all over again.”
“We will see,” Amidala said as she faded off, and the view screen as it went black.

Chapter 3
Kayla laughed and said, “Obi-Wan is gonna be happy to know we have another insane chick with us.” She pulled out her grenade and threw it at a nearby transport. “They miss us,” she added with a smirk.
“Insane? No. Just a survivor of war, that’s all,” Jesse said, glaring at Kayla. “Have a little faith, mate. She’ll be apples,” she added smirking slightly at the look Kira was giving her in regards to the phrase. “Means, we’ll be all right,” she clarified.
“Right,” Kira said, glancing at the newcomer curiously. “My name’s Kira. And that crazed lunatic over there is Kayla,” she said, grinning wickedly. “And you would be?” she asked.
“ ‘Name’s Jesse, mate. I’m part of the security for Queen Amidala,” she said, muttering the last part under her breath. “Whole lot of them are idiots...then again, the Feds aren’t any better either,” she added, rolling her eyes.
Kayla glared at Kira and said, “I am not insane. That would be you, Kira.” She stuck out her tongue and she pulled out her blaster and fired at a nearby droid and cackled.
“Time for kicking ass,” she added. ---------------------------------------------- Chris Hiluyian stood in the Throne Room, in full security attire as always. He had a blaster pistol in his hands, in case any emergency arose...and right now, it looked like it definitely could. Negotiations with the Trade Federation looked like they weren’t going so well, so he had to be prepared for anything that could come their way.
Captain Panaka, Chris’s ‘commanding officer’ in a way, stood beside the Queen...Chris glanced at her, and sighed. He didn’t know Amidala extremely well, but he had been on her security detail long enough to know how she worked. She was determined and strong, but he knew that she had to be at least a little sad at what was transpiring.
He just didn’t want things to get too intense.
---------------------------------------------- “Did I say that you were insane?” Kira asked, raising an eyebrow. “I seem to recall calling you a ‘crazed lunatic’,” she said, chuckling softly.
“Damn droids everywhere...at least they’re not as bad as the metal were,” Jesse grumbled. “Stupid machines,” she added, while firing a few pot-shots at a nearby droid.
Qui-Gon exhaled softly and he and Obi-Wan finally caught sight of Kira, Kaylam and a necomer. “Seems that we’ve picked up another one for our little group,” he mused, giving a soft chuckle.
Kayla scoffed and said, “That would be Jay.” She smirked and looked at Jesse. “So…anymore of you guys are still around and if so where to?”
Obi-Wan looked up and groaned when he saw another female wearing a uniform. “Oh no,” he moaned. “Don’t tell me we have another ‘female problem’. That’s all we need for Kayla to get involved with.”
Kayla glared at Obi-Wan and said, “Watch it or I’ll blast you a new ass.”
Jesse glared at the young man in front of her. “Hey. Listen to me and listen closely…” She trailed off for a moment, before giving Obi-Wan a serious look. “I’m not here to babysit and you’re not here to feel sorry for yourself. I’m not your friend; I am not your mother.” She thought for a moment then spoke again. “I know the both of you were sent to negotiate with the Feds, now; go finish your job,” she said, walking past Obi-Wan in a brisk fashion.
Qui-Gon blinked as he watched the young woman verbally scold his apprentice. She certainly got courage, though it may be courage that will someday get her into trouble, Qui-Gon mused.
Kayla snickered and said, “We can handle the Feds. They can go baby-sit the Feds.” She jerked her head to Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan glared at Jesse and Kayla and looked back at his master. “They are going to be the death of us,” he muttered.
---------------------------------------------- Meanwhile back in the Naboo Palace Throne Room the Queen, Eirtae, Sache, and her Governor, Sio Bibble stood before a hologram of Senator Palpatine, a thin, kindly man.
“How could that be true? I have assurances from the Chancellor...his Ambassadors did arrive. It must be the...get...negotiate...” The image of Palpatine began to flicker in and out as he spoke, before finally fading away. ---------------------------------------------- Back in the Naboo Swamps Kira grinned wickedly as she glanced over at Jesse. “You’re quite a spitfire, aren’t you?” she asked, as the group continued to make their way through the swamps of Naboo.
“Right on, mate. I don’t take crap from anyone.” Jesse thought for a moment and shrugged. “One of the side effects of fighting in a full out bloody civil war, I guess,” she added. “Damn metal can go to hell,” she muttered quietly.
“Well,” Kayla said with a smirk. “This is another fine mess we’ve gotten ourselves into.” ---------------------------------------------- The hologram of Palpatine sputtered and faded away.
“Senator Palpatine?!?” Amidala asked as she turned to Panaka. “What’s happening?”
Captain Panaka looked to his Sergeant. “Check the transmission generators.” Chris watched with interest. He was really getting the feeling that something was going to go down today, something big. The Trade Federation was being hard to deal with and now they couldn’t even keep communications to Coruscant.
They had to be prepared.
“A malfunction?” Bibble asked. “That’s not good.”
Panaka looked to Queen Amidala. “It could be the Federation jamming us, Your Highness.”
“A communications disruption can only mean one thing: invasion,” Bibble asked.
“The Federation would not dare go that far,” Amidala said. She glanced at Chris. “What do you think?” she asked him.
Chris was stunned for a moment...the Queen had actually asked him a question. Not like it hadn’t happened before, he’d spoken to her plenty of times, but not nearly as much as Captain Panaka or anyone else, a lot of the time he was just a silent security man, but it was an honor for his opinion to actually be asked in front of all of these people.
He straightened up, trying to look as well as possible. “Well, Milady, I think that something is definitely up...I think Governor Bibble is right. An invasion is probably coming. Why else would the Federation act this way? Cutting off communications is going farther than simple negotiation tactics,” he replied.
That’s exactly what I was afraid of, Amidala thought with a crescent fallen face for a moment after Chris spoke. Then she put on her brave Politian face. “We must continue to rely on negotiation.”
“Negotiation?” Bibble asked in outrage. “We’ve lost all communications! And where are the Chancellors Ambassadors? How can we negotiate? We must prepare to defend ourselves.”
“This is a dangerous situation, Your Highness,” Panaka warned Amidala, his eyes shifting from Chris’s back to hers. “Our security officers will be no match against a battle-hardened Federation army.”
Though he knew enough about fighting, and wanted to think that he could hold up against the Federation, Chris knew that Panaka had a point...they were talented, but couldn’t fight through millions and millions of battle droids. Could any simple security team?
Amidala looked at Panaka and said, “I will not condone a course of action that will lead us to war.” She stood up and thought for a moment. “Time to assign a handmaiden to serve as my decoy to protect myself. I know just the person to assign for the job.”
Amidala grabbed a suitcase from behind her desk and she handed it to Chris and asked, “Chris I would like for you to take this down to Sabe’s room and tell her she is going to be serving as my decoy. Her room is across the hall over to the right. Stay with her and bring her back up here safely.”
Chris’s jaw actually dropped, as embarrassing as it would be to look so shocked in the middle of everyone else. The Queen was going to assign a decoy to protect her...a decoy. He had to admit, it was a smart idea, but it was still surprising. He knew of Sabe, though. But to assign him to help her…that was even more shocking.
“Wow, uh...thanks, I’ll get right on it, Milady. I won’t let you down,” Chris vowed, nodding and bowing as he took the suitcase.
“See to it that you don’t, Chris,” Panaka remarked gently but firmly, giving Chris a look as to not screw anything up.
Chris saluted Captain Panaka. “Yes sir,” he said.
Chris then walked out of the room, heading straight for Sabe’s quarters.

Chapter 4
At Naboo Swamps a Gungan was smiling as he navigated between the trees of the forest. He had woken up late and had a large breakfast during the morning. Oh yes, this was going to be a good day, Jar Jar Binks thought.
He only now needed to find some more food for the coming days.
After a good twenty minutes after leaving his home he heard this loud noise in the distance, curious of what it was he started walking into the direction the sound came from.
The more he came closer it became more and more frightening, he stopped for a moment to listen, only to be interrupted when strange, but large vehicles came hovering into his directions, crushing trees as a large number of animals run away.
Stunned by fear he screamed as loud as he can without being able to move a finger.
Maybe this wasn’t going to be such as good day after all. ---------------------------------------------- Queen Amidala smiled and said, “Thank you, Commander Hiluyian.” She watched as he left the room.
Then Motee, Queen Amidala’s handmaiden asked, “Are you sure we want to do that?”
Queen Amidala nodded. “Yes, I am sure,” she said. “I trust Sabe. She will do what she needs to be done. She knows my role well and I have already informed her that she would be serving as my decoy. The Senate also agreed it would be best as well. Now anymore questions? Good. Captain Panaka, have Ric Olie have us a small ship saved in case we need to make haste. Inform Commander Chris that once Sabe is ready to go with her to the main entrance with Sio Bibble to greet the Viceroy.”
---------------------------------------------- Sabe was in her quarters. She had just finished getting her hair and make-up touched up when she heard a buzz at her door. Sabe was wearing black, her white-painted face in sharp contrast to the black feathered headdress she that wrapped and framed it. A gold chain laid across her regal brow and the red beauty mark split her lower lip.
She peaked through the peephole and she saw Commander Chris Hiluyian standing outside her door. The doors swung open and she smiled and teased, “Hey cutie! What brings you by here?” She wrapped her arms around him and greeted him with a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek. Secretly she was fond of Chris, but she would never tell him that to his face. ---------------------------------------------- Captain Panaka nodded and bowed. “Yes, I will, my Queen,” he promised.
Chris could feel his neck heating up and his face going slightly red after Sabe kissed him on the cheek. He had always liked Sabe a lot, though he had never admitted to having any feelings for her. He wasn’t sure how much of a good thing it would be to feel something for a person that you worked with. He had to be focused on his duty and she on hers, anyway.
He decided to try to get back to business.
“Uh, hey...thanks,” he said, smiling lightly. He held out the suitcase. “Queen Amidala sent me to give this to you and to stay with you until you are ready to go---”
His comlink beeped. He activated it.
“Chris, it’s Panaka,” Captain Panaka’s voice came through. “Once Sabe is ready, personally escort her down to the main entrance with Sio Bibble to greet the Viceroy.”
“Yes, sir,” Chris said obediently. He was still honored by all of these orders, but this was really getting serious.
He looked back at Sabe. “I take it that you know what’s going on?”
Queen Amidala rose from her throne and said, “Now if you will excuse me I need to go change in case things backfire. Captain will you escort us to my chamber?” ---------------------------------------------- Sabe smiled and said, “Yes I do. I know Padme’s position like the back of my hand. We have been friends since we were children.” She glanced at the suitcase and then she took it from Chris and she opened it. It contained a blaster and she smirked.
“Padme always has a backup plan for everything,” she said. “Hold on to this for me and hide it in a safe place.”
She handed the blaster back to Chris and added, “I’m glad you’re here.”
She looked out the window. So far everything was peaceful. “Hopefully the Senate will get this mess sorted out soon. I don’t know why they are lolly gagging around with this matter,” she said.
Panaka nodded, walking over to Amidala’s side.
Chris put the blaster rifle in a spare holster on his belt. It wouldn’t be easy to see, and anyone who did see it would just think it was a space blaster for him.
“Yeah, I know...I’ve never really liked politicians too much, you know? I mean, okay, I don’t hate them, but they get too wrapped up in all this stuff that no one cares about. Naboo’s politicians, like Queen Amidala, are a lot better...the Senate just sounds crazy to me,” Chris commented, walking up beside Sabe at the window. ---------------------------------------------- Queen Amidala walked to her chambers and changed from out of her Queen wardrobe and changed into her handmaiden outfit and walked out of the room. ---------------------------------------------- Sabe looked at Chris and playfully glared at Chris when he said no one cares about Naboo’s politicians, like Padme did. “True,” she said. “But this has gone on for far too long. Chancellor Valorum is just putting off the vote. I’ve already talked to the Queen and we’ve decided to plead our case to the Senate and if that doesn’t work then we’re getting rid of Valorum by voting in a new Chancellor.”
Chris’s eyes widened. “A new Chancellor? Wow, I guess the Queen knows best, but that seems extreme...how do you know a good one is even going to take over?” he asked.
Sabe sighed and said, “The Senate will put it into vote and Padme does have experience with the Senate.” She shook her head and sighed. “Maybe I’m just being paranoid because of this whole trade federation may be planning on taking control of our homeworld.”
Chris wanted to put a hand on Sabe’s shoulder to comfort her, but he knew it would be informal...although she did kiss him, he didn’t want to risk offending her or losing his job. “Yeah, I know...wow. I’ve spent my whole life here, and soon it could belong to piles and piles of bolts. That’s just not right,” he commented.
Sabe nodded. She leaned against Chris’s shoulder. She was worried that things were starting to get more out of hand. She sighed. “Out of all the handmaidens the Queen had Panaka chose me out of everyone else,” she said.
Chris noticed Sabe leaned against his shoulder...he actually liked it, and just let her stand there like that. “That’s because you are one of the best. You’re a great handmaiden, you look a lot like her...I know you, Sabe, and the Queen didn’t make a mistake choosing you,” he told her.
Sabe scoffed softly. “I wouldn’t actually say best,” she said, still remaining on his shoulder. Then she raised her eyebrow. “Oh and how well do you know me, Commander?” she asked with a slight muse on her face. This should be interesting, she thought.
Chris looked at her. “Uh, well, it’s not like we’ve talked a bunch but you know we see each other all the time...we’ve spoken before. I know you well enough to know that you are up to this job,” he answered.
Sabe laughed in spite herself. “I suppose that’s true,” she said. “Any particular reason they assigned different guards?”
Chris shrugged. “Well, you need some personal protection at the moment...you are going to be disguised as the Queen of Naboo, you know,” he joked with a smirk. “The rest of the team will probably be meeting up with us once we leave.”
Sabe laughed and said, “Trying to say I can’t protect myself and the Queen?” She playfully put her hands on her hips. “Not that I have a problem with extra protection though I’m glad you are part of that team.” She blushed slightly when she said that. ---------------------------------------------- Naboo Swamps Jesse scowled as she glanced around the swamps. “Well, this should prove to be interesting to say the least,” she mused, giving her head a light shake. “But…she’ll be apples,” she added, purely out of habit. “So, what’s the plan?” she asked, glancing over at the two male Jedi. “If you’re heading towards Theed, I’d suggest that we move now,” she said, cocking her .45 handgun.
Kira smirked slightly at the younger woman. “I like your way of thinking,” she said, gripping her own weapon ever so slightly. “And which way are we headed then, Jedi?” Kira asked, glancing at Qui-Gon.
There was a slight pause, before Qui-Gon finally motioned for the group to follow him towards the left. “This way,” he said, walking deeper into the forested area of the swamps. ---------------------------------------------- “Oh, yeah, I know you and Queen Amidala can protect yourselves...yeah, you probably don’t need any of us along,” Chris said with a chuckle, even if he was slightly embarrassed by how his statement came off at first. “But thanks...I’m glad to be here. Gonna be one crazy ride.” Sabe looked at Chris and smirked some. “Yes this is going to be one crazy ride,” she said. “Well I suppose we should go and meet the others then. Lead the way Commander Chris.” ---------------------------------------------- Back at the Naboo Swamps Kayla laughed. “I wouldn’t go that way unless you want your damn brains splattered all over this damn swamp.”
Obi-Wan looked at Kayla and asked, “Oh and why might that be, darling?”
Kayla looked at Obi-Wan and said, “Because there’s a shit load of droids coming our damn way.” She began firing her blaster.
Obi-Wan shook his head and said, “I don’t know how the hell you made it as a Jedi Knight before me.”
Kayla laughed. “Chill out Obi-Wan,” she said.
Obi-Wan shook his head and muttered, “Women.” ---------------------------------------------- Chris nodded, turning towards the door. “Okay, let’s go.”
He proceeded to lead Sabe, the new ‘Queen’ out the door and into the halls. He activated his comlink. “Captain, Sabe and I are heading your way,” he said.
“Roger that. Good work, Commander,” Panaka told him.
He turned to Padme. “Sabe and Chris are on their way now.” Amidala nodded and said, “Very good Captain.”
Sabe followed Commander Chris and they met up with the rest of the group. ---------------------------------------------- Jesse smirked slightly as she tugged on the sleeves of her uniform. “So tell me, how did these negotiations go?” she asked, glancing over at Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon.
Qui-Gon scowled as he turned his attention towards Jesse. “The negotiations never took place,” he replied, narrowing his eyes.
“Ah, ha ha. Figured as much. The Feds are nothing but sniveling cowards,” Jesse said with a grin. “Though, I’d rather deal with them and their stupidity than the metal,” she added, with a grin on her face quickly dissolving at the thought.
Different time, different place. J-Day hasn’t happened and never will happen...hopefully. No need to dwell on the thought, Jesse mused, giving her head a light shake to clear it. “Ah well, like I’ve said before; she’ll be apples.”
Kayla looked at Jesse and asked, “What the hell does J-Day mean anyway you insane nutcase?”
Obi-Wan could not help but laugh.
“And I told you before. I’m not insane. Just a survivor of war,” Jesse replied sharply, glaring at the other woman. “And you shut up,” Jesse added, glancing at Obi-Wan, before turning her attention back towards Kayla. “‘J-Day’ is an acronym for ‘Judgment Day.’ It was when humanity was almost destroyed by nukes, fire, plasma bombs.” She thought for a moment and sighed. “Not very many survived, though the ones that did, banded together, and formed the Human Resistance against the metal…” Jesse trailed off for a split second then muttered under her breath. “Damn Skynet.”
Kayla snickered under breath at Obi-Wan as she listened to Jesse. “Where exactly are you from?” she asked.
Obi-Wan looked at Kayla and Jesse and muttered, “And I thought Kira was the smartass around here.”
Jesse gave a careless shrug. “Not from around here, I can assure you of that,” she quipped, smirking slightly. “However, my past is my own. I’d prefer not to talk about anything regarding ‘J-Day’, other than what I already explained,” she added, with a slight grimace.
“I think I’ve been insulted,” Kira mused, giving a soft chuckle while glancing over at Obi-Wan.
Finally knocking some sense into him, Jar Jar Binks ran as fast as he could away from the machines, crushing everything in their way.
He ran for minutes until he fell down and rolled down a small hill, landing right into a pit of mud with a large splash right next to the group.
He looked up and his face was covered in the mud, he shook it a little bit off before looking at the people and then saying with his strong Gungan accent, “Oh no...mesa in trouble.”
Kayla smirked and said, “Consider it done Jesse and now.” She looked ahead and saw a funny creature ahead of them. “What the bloody hell is that coming through the damn army of droids? He is either brain-dead or insane.”
Obi-Wan rolled his eyes and said to Kira. “Don’t flatter yourself,” he said.
Kayla scoffed and said, “Kira, don’t mind him. He’s just being his normal Kenobi self.” She smirked and Obi-Wan rolled his eyes and muttered, “Women.” He glanced at Qui-Gon and scowled.
“I am surprised at you Master,” he said with great dignity. “You have not even come up with a brilliant plan yet. Surely you have a much saner plan than what these ladies have come up with or with what Kayla is about to do.”
Suddenly Obi-Wan felt someone send a massive Force-push his way that caused him to lose his balance and bump right smack into Jesse, causing both of them to fall in a puddle of mud and Obi-Wan’s cheeks flamed red when he knocked Jesse over.
“I am so sorry,” he said. “I swear I did not do it.”
He looked ahead and Kayla winked at Kira and hid her smile behind her hand and then she caught Obi-Wan looking at her and she scowled. “What? I didn’t do it,” she quipped.
Obi-Wan glared at Kayla and shook his head and gritted his teeth as he helped Jesse up, praying silently that Jesse wouldn’t kill him.
Jesse scowled as she glanced at Kayla. “Funny,” she said, before grabbing a glob of mud and flinging it at Kayla. “And don’t worry about it, Kenobi. It wasn’t your fault,” she added, sparing a quick glance and a smile at Obi-Wan
Qui-Gon sighed and shook his head. “Now’s not the time for this. We need to get to Theeds and inform the Queen of the ‘negotiations’ that took place,” he said.
Kira gently pinched the bridge of her nose and sighed. “Brilliant, Kayla,” she whispered softly, a small smirk adorning her lips as she spoke, while sidestepping to avoid getting hit by the mud that Jesse had thrown.
Kayla dodged out of the way and she smirked. The mud she threw hit Qui-Gon in the back of the head.
“Like I said unless you want to get blasted by droids I think we better go this way,” she snapped and then she ran into a lanky creature. “What the hell?” she said.
She glared at the Gungan and asked, “Who the hell are you?” she asked.
Obi-Wan could not help, but laugh and Kayla threw him a dirty look.
Jesse flinched slightly as Qui-Gon turned and glared at her. “Sorry, meant to hit her,” she said, glaring at Kayla even more. “Though…revenge is best served cold,” she mused, a small, wicked smile tugging at the corner of her lips in the process. “Oh by the way,” she added, giving Obi-Wan a serious look. “Your fly is open,” she said finally, walking past him.
Kayla laughed softly. “You do realize that Kira and I are the queen in that department?” she asked with a smirk.
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse and raised an eyebrow. “What the hell are you talking about?” he asked as he looked down. “Oh my.” He zipped up his fly and blushed.
Kira shook her head in amusement. “Seriously, Qui-Gon and Kayla are right. We need to keep moving,” she said, making her way to the front of the group. “Come on, let’s get going before---”
A low rumbling could be heard off in the distance, the sharp sound of trees snapping echoed through the air.
“Shit. I’d say that this is a really good time to run,” Kira said, glancing back over her shoulder.
Kayla glared at Kira and said, “Come on, Kira don’t tell me you’re scared of a shit load of clankers?” She smirked and added cheekily, “What would Jay think if he heard you say anything about running?”
Kayla dodged out of the way of fire blaster that came flying towards Jesse.
“And I don’t want to be suicidal either, you know,” Kira said, glaring at Kayla. “Jay would yell at me for that more so than for me running.” She mused, smirking slightly at the thought. Wish he was here though. She blinked then shoved the thought aside. There was no need to focus on him now.
Jesse dove out of the way, just as a blaster bolt zipped past her ear. “Well, at least these droids have bad aim,” she muttered, remaining in a crouched position.
Kayla laughed and more blaster shots fired and some flew toward Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan and a massive blast came toward Jesse and Obi-Wan Force-leaped over to where Jesse was and picked her up before she got blasted into next year and Kayla Force-pushed Obi-Wan and Jesse into a mud-hole again and she winked at Kira.
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse and said, “I swear that wasn’t me. It was that insane woman.” He pointed at Kayla and threw mud at her head.
Kayla cursed. “Damn it,” she said as she Force-pushed Obi-Wan again and he landed on Jesse and he picked Jesse up.
“Sorry about that darling,” he said. “She has bad aim.”
Jesse blushed slightly as Obi-Wan landed on top of her. “Kinda figured that out,” she muttered, getting to her feet with Obi-Wan’s help.
Qui-Gon scowled slightly at his apprentice’s behavior. “Must I say it again? We need to keep moving---” He was suddenly cut off as Kira clamped her hand over his mouth.
“Shut up. We get the point already,” she grumbled, before jogging up ahead of the group.
Kayla began to lead the group. ---------------------------------------------- Obi-Wan looked at his Master and said, “It’s not me and besides isn’t it our duty to help those in need?” He smirked slightly. “And I am doing what I need to do.” He deactivated his saber and then he began to follow the others.
Jesse smirked as she walked alongside Obi-Wan. “Well, things seem to be getting more and more interesting, right mate?” she asked, smirking slightly.
Qui-Gon sighed as he glanced back at the creature that was following them. “You almost got us killed, are you brainless?” he asked sharply, glaring at Jar Jar.
Kira chuckled softly. “Now, now, Qui-Gon. Even the most intelligent people can be brainless...in the common sense area anyways,” she quipped, glancing over at Kayla in a subtle manner.
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse awkwardly and said, “Yes they are, mate.” He smirked.
Kayla scoffed under her breath and laughed and Obi-Wan stepped on her foot and she let out a stream of curse words and she kicked Obi-Wan in the groin and he groaned in pain.
Jar Jar looked at Qui-Gon and said, “I accept. Mesa called Jar Jar Binks.”
Obi-Wan spotted something in the bushes and noticed someone with brown hair and could tell it was a girl. “Who the hell is that?” he asked, pointing in the bushes.

Chapter 5
Royal Palace, Theed Carter glanced about the village, his optical sensors scanning every single nook and cranny. His gaze shifted towards the palace and remained there. Three point four seconds passed before he began walking towards the targeted location.
LOCATION_ROYAL PALACE, THEED, NABOO OBJECTIVES_OBSERVE, INVESTIGATE
He walked up the stairs, one step at a time. The hydrolics in his legs quietly hissed with each and every single calculated movement. He glanced up again. The entrance to the palace was just in front of him. His Heads UP Display constantly updating data.

He tilted his head a quarter of an inch, before continuing into the palace, his stride calculating and purposeful. ---------------------------------------------- Chris walked along with Sabe. “We should to be the others soon---oh, there they are,” he told her, seeing Panaka, Padme, and the other handmaidens and security officers approach.
“Good work, Commander,” Panaka told him with a nod as the group joined up again. “Let’s lead the way.
Both Panaka and Chris got in front of Sabe, the new “Queen” and continued on. ---------------------------------------------- Carter watched from the shadows as the group made their way through the palace. His eyes followed their every move, their every step with the utmost cybernetic precision. He then turned his attention to one human in particular.

Another two point eight seconds passed, before he shifted his gaze back towards the shadows, a slight red tinge adorning his iris’s for the briefest of moments. Quietly, he removed one of two 9MM handguns with silencers from the holsters underneath his shirt. A precaution mainly. With the efficiency beyond that of a human, he reloaded the magazine, and attached the silencer to the muzzle of the 9MM in his hand. ---------------------------------------------- Chris moved alongside Panaka, leading Sabe and all of the other handmaidens, the true Queen being a part of them now, as well as the security team through the halls. Every so often, he got this feeling like something was watching them, but he soon shrugged it off, as he saw nothing.
Finally, however, he got that feeling again. “Okay, is it just me or is someone watching us?” he asked, looking behind him.
Panaka raised an eyebrow. “I didn’t see or hear anything. Think the Federation is here already?”
Chris shook his head. “No, no, I don’t think so...I don’t know, I just have this weird feeling, but it’s probably nothing.” ---------------------------------------------- Carter’s head tilted a quarter of an inch to the right. ‘Blue’ eyes still calmly focused on Chris. His internal CPU gathering and processing data at incredible speeds.

His eyes flashed red again for a split second before returning to their normal blue tinge. He continued to stand in the shadows, completely still and silent like a statue…waiting. ---------------------------------------------- Chris continued on with the others, but he continuously felt like something was there. He had no clue what it was, because they had not had any notification of intruders in the palace, and security was top notch right now. But that never meant that nothing could sneak through.
“Captain,” he whispered, looking to Panaka. “Are you sure everything’s alright in all sectors of the palace? No alerts, no teams going dark?”
“Yes, Chris,” Panaka replied, getting more confused. “If you think you know something I don’t then you really need to tell me.”
“I don’t know, sir, it’s not like I’m the most alert guy...I could be imagining things. I just feel like something’s here, but I don’t have the evidence to back it up. Maybe it’s just nerves,” he answered, hoping that the feeling would fade as they got closer to the main entrance. ---------------------------------------------- Carter moved silently through the shadows, perfectly in sync with the group he was following. He gripped his 9MM lightly, his finger resting casually on the trigger. Another precaution.

He paused for a brief moment. Two point three seconds past. His eyes flashed red for the third time. Turning his attention back to his ‘targets’ he moved deeper into the shadows. ---------------------------------------------- Chris was trying to calm himself, when suddenly he saw a flash of red. “What the he---” he began, but then realized he was in the presence of royalty. Okay, I can’t ignore this anymore.
“Captain, I know I’m sounding paranoid, but I saw a flash of red over there in the shadows,” he said, gesturing to the direction in which he caught the odd sight.
Panaka sighed. This was getting even crazier if that were possible. He liked Chris, but he actually hoped he was just getting paranoid and that this was nothing.
“We can’t spare many men right now, you know that, but if you think it may be something...” Panaka slowly said, looking to two average security officers. He pointed to where Chris saw the red. “You two, go check it out.” ----------------------------------------------

Carter raised his arm and casually stepped out of the shadows, firing two silent shots. One bullet right into the forehead’s of both security officers. Both bodies landed on the floor with a thud. His head tilted to the side half an inch as he stared at the bodies.
TARGET_DECEASED OBJECTIVE_NONE REACTION_STAND BY..........DETERMINING APPROPRIATE RESPONSE............
He glanced up at the others, calmly waiting for a response. ---------------------------------------------- Panaka’s eyes widened as he looked on at the seemingly normal man. All of the officers and handmaidens jumped in front of Sabe. “Fire! Protect the Queen!” Panaka ordered.
Several officers fired, hitting the man...however, while the bolts didn’t seem to do too much to him, they exposed his endoskeleton.
He wasn’t a man...he was actually made of pure metal.
Chris had his rifle leveled at the thing, but his jaw had now dropped. “Whoa...who the.....what the hell are you?!” he asked in shock. ---------------------------------------------- ‘Carter’ tilted his head half an inch again. “Chris Hiluyian?” he asked, his voice, cold, calculating, and un-motive. His arm not moving an inch.
IDENTIFICATION_ PANAKA THREAT LEVEL_7 REACTION_MEDIUM OBJECTIVE_STAND BY
He stood perfectly still. Stiller than any human. The bits of Coltan were visible on his left cheek, his neck, and arms from the blaster fire. ---------------------------------------------- “You know this...thing?” Panaka asked.
“No!” Chris yelled defensively, wanting that to be known right now. “How do you know me? How do you know my name?”
“Don’t think he’s in the mood for small talk, Chris,” Panaka said. “It looks like a droid...but I don’t think it’s from the Trade Federation, unless they have more of an arsenal than we thought.” ---------------------------------------------- Carter continued to stare at Chris. “I’m not a part of this ‘Federation’ you speak of,” he said finally. “And I’m not a droid,” he added coldly. “Now, where is Jesse Solo?” he asked, glancing about the room again. “Jesse Solo? Who is Jesse Solo?” Chris asked in confusion. “And you’d have to be a droid...you’re mechanical.”
“There’s no Jesse here,” Panaka said, still pointing his blaster at Carter. “And if you aren’t a droid, what are you?”
“She’s a part of the Human Resistance against Skynet,” Carter clarified. “I said I’m not a droid.” He paused for a split second, and glanced over at another security guard. “Can a mere droid do this?” he asked, grabbing the guard by the front of his uniform and flung him across the notably large room, as if he were a rag doll. “I’m a Tee triple eight series. A Terminator if you will,” he said finally.
“A...Terminator? Skynet? I don’t think I’ve heard of that...” Chris trailed off, very confused now. Especially after he saw the officer got flung across the room.
“Neither have I, but more importantly, why would you think that Jesse Solo is here in the Queen’s palace on Naboo? We have nothing to do with Skynet,” Panaka stated.
Carter glanced down at the dead officers then put his gun away. “Just checking around,” he replied, before walking out of the palace. ---------------------------------------------- Naboo Swamps Cameron stood up slowly, her gaze never leaving the group standing behind her.
IDENTIFICATION_JESSE SOLO OBJECTIVE_PROTECT AT ALL COSTS
Cameron, turned around completely, and walked towards the group, her strides even and calculating. “Jesse Solo?” she asked, turning her attention towards the young woman.
Jesse stared. Anger and hatred pulsed through her veins. Why was she here? That little... “You metal BITCH!” she snarled, clenching her hands into fists. “Why the hell are you here?!”
Cameron tilted her head slightly. “He sent me to protect you. Skynet’s not finished with you yet. They want you dead,” she said simply. “There’s another here. Sent to kill you,” she added.
“Great. Just what we need,” Jesse said sarcastically, crossing her arms in the process. ---------------------------------------------- Chris watched the Terminator casually leave. “What in the hell was that all about?” he wondered out loud.
“I don’t know,” Panaka said, turning to Padme and Sabe. “But I suggest we keep going and not get involved...we still have the Federation to deal with.”
Sabe a.k.a. Amidala was more confused with the situation at hand. She had no idea who these “Terminators” were. She glanced at Padme who quickly raised a hand to her nose and rubbed it slightly as a hand gesture before anyone could see.
“As you can see here we do not have these Jesse Solo that you speak of,” Amidala said in a stern voice. She looked across the palace and noticed that droids from the trade Federation were coming in.
“I suggest you try looking beyond the woods,” she said. “Right now I think we are about to have a bigger issue at stake.”
“Ah great, here we go,” Chris muttered, keeping his rifle handy.
“Everybody stay calm, but be prepared to take action if needed,” Panaka said.
Chris noticed more and more droids entering. “Uh, how can we get through all of that?” ---------------------------------------------- Kayla looked ahead of the group and she began firing at nearby droids. “We need to get the hell out of here,” she said.
Jar Jar looked up and said, ““Exsqueeze me, but da grand safest place is in Otoh Gunga. Tis where I grew up. Tis is a hidden city.”
Kayla looked at Jar Jar and asked, “Can you take us there?”
Jar Jar thought for a moment and said, “On second thought. No not rilly no.”
“No?” Kayla asked with raised eyebrows.
“Tis embarrassing, but me forgot I have been banished,” Jar Jar said. “The bosses will do terrible things to mesa if I go back there.”
Kayla grabbed Jar Jar by the neck and asked, “Do you hear that?”
Jar Jar gasped and raised his ear. “Yeah,” he replied.
“That is the sound of a thousand terrible things heading this way,” Kayla said.
“If they find us they will crush into tiny pieces and blast us into oblivion,” Obi-Wan said with a smile.
Jar Jar thought for a moment and said, “On second tis way hurry. Wesa gonna go underwater okeday? My warning you Gungans no like outsider so to pect a warm welcome.”
Obi-Wan mused. “Oh don’t worry this hasn’t been our best day for warm welcomes.”
Jar Jar jumped into the lake and swam. He poked his head up and said, “Yousa follow me now okeyday?” He dove back into the water.
Kayla shook her head and said, “This is ridiculous.” She had a scolding look on her face. “This will definitely get us killed.” She looked at Kira. “Jay would be having a field day if sees the lovely mess we have gotten ourselves into this time,” she quipped with a smirk and she put on her aqua breather and handed an extra one to Kira.
Obi-Wan handed Jesse an extra aqua breather.
Cameron tilted her head as she glanced at the water. “I’ll find another way to the palace,” she said, turning back the other way. “I can’t swim,” she added.
“Yeah, ‘cause your metal. You’d sink like a goddamned stone,” Jesse said with an amused snort. “Thanks,” she added taking the aqua breather while glancing over at Obi-Wan with a small smile tugging at her lips.
Qui-Gon blinked as he glanced between the two women then finally looked at Jesse. “Wait…what do you mean she’s metal?” he asked, somewhat curious.
Jesse sneered as she watched Cameron walk off towards Theed. “She’s exactly what I said. She’s metal,” she replied. “A cyborg.”
Kayla dove in the water followed by Obi-Wan who nodded at Jesse and stroked her hand as he walked past.

Chapter 6
Jar Jar led them to Otoh Gunga city. The city was comprised with clusters of bubbles that connected to one another like a balloon and were fastened to several rock pillars. One by one, the bubbles grew more separated and it became possible to make out the structures within the features of the Gungans as they went about their business.
“Heyday ho, Cap’n Tarpals,” Jar Jar said. “Messa back.”
Tarpals scowled deeply as he glanced at Jar Jar. “Notta gain, Jar Jar. Yousa goen ta da Bosses. Yousa in big dudu this time,” he sneered, jabbing Jar Jar with the electrical staff he was carrying.
Jesse shook her head as she stood beside Obi-Wan. “Did you understand any of that?” she asked, whispering quietly.
“This’ll prove to be interesting,” Kira mused, as she glanced around with a sudden curiosity, while keeping her left hand on the butt of her M9 Magnum. ---------------------------------------------- Cameron glanced about as she finally made her way into the Royal Palace of Theed. Her CPU constantly bringing in and uploading data faster than the human brain could ever accomplish. She stopped suddenly as she spotted a lone figure coming out of the main entrance to the royal palace.

She stared at Carter for a split second before walking towards him slowly, her stride clear and precise while drawing her 9MM handgun in the process.
Carter tilted his head as he looked at Cameron.

In one fluid motion, Carter drew his 9MM silenced handgun, and pointed it at Cameron as he moved towards her. ---------------------------------------------- As if Trade Federation droids started to swarm the entrance of the Palace wasn’t enough, Chris spotted that ‘Terminator’ right outside...it was looking right at someone else. A very beautiful woman that had the same gun as the first Terminator.
“Hmm,” Chris muttered, looking at the two. “Not to get distracted or anything, but I wonder if that’s this Jesse Solo?”
“We have bigger things on our plates!” Panaka simply said, gesturing towards the droids. ---------------------------------------------- Carter’s eyes never left Cameron’s as he walked towards her, gun in hand. “I know you,” he said simply.
“And I know you,” she replied, before firing several bullets into his neck and chest.
Carter simply ignored the bullets that were now lodged in his chest as he continued to walk towards her, reaching out, he finally grabbed hold of the front of her shirt, and flung her halfway down the streets.
She landed with a resounding ‘thud’ on the cold, hard pavement. Nonetheless, Cameron quickly rose to her feet, firing off several more rounds into Carter’s chest, neck, and head, exposing several bits and pieces of Coltan metal.
And again, Carter ignored the bullets piercing his chest and neck, and quickened his pace. Finally getting to within five feet of Cameron, he dropped his gun and backhanded her across the face.
Cameron’s head whipped to the left in a quick, forceful manner. No matter, glancing back up, she planted the palm of her hand into Carter’s chest, sending him flying back towards the palace.

Not even giving Carter time to recover, Cameron quickly sprinted over, backhanding the T-888 as he got to his feet, sending him back down to the ground. Leaving no room for error, she quickly knelt down, and attempted to flip Carter onto his stomach, only to receive a punch to the face. She whirled around, and this time she managed to get Carter lying back up. Straddling him, Cameron quickly pulled out a switchblade and flicked the knife upwards. She paused for a moment, giving Carter the opportunity to fling Cameron off him by twisting his legs to the right. She rolled to the side, as Carter finally got to his feet. ---------------------------------------------- Carter lashed out and grabbed Cameron by the shoulders.

Glancing back at Cameron, whose face was adorned with gashes and scratch marks, Carter ran away from the palace and off to the right. ---------------------------------------------- Cameron tilted her head, staring at Carter’s retreating back for two point three seconds before shifting her attention to the group off to her left.
ANALYZING........... GROUP ANALYSIS_STABLE THREAT LEVEL_4.5 REACTION_MEDIUM OBJECTIVE_NONE
She glanced over at the nearest human in the group, and walked over. “Hello.” She smiled slightly, to try to put the group at ease. ---------------------------------------------- Chris looked on at pure shock after that rough fight...Chris had never seen two people go at it so violently. Well, perhaps he had, but both of them had such precision in their actions. It was almost unreal.
But they didn’t come out without injury. That Terminator had run off, and now this girl, the one he thought of as Jesse, had an extremely roughed up face.
“W-Wow,” he stammered. “Are...are you alright?” ---------------------------------------------- Jar Jar groaned and the guards put cuffs on Jar Jar.
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse and said, “Jar Jar is in deep bantha boodoo.”
Otoh Gunga High Tower Boardroom location of the Bosses’ Board Room had bubble walls, with small lighted fish swimming around outside like moving stars. A long circular judge’s bench filled with Gungun officials dominated the room. Obi-Wan, Kayla, Kira, Jesse, and Qui-Gon stood facing Boss Nass, who sat on a bench higher than the others.
“Tkk-tkk-tkk-tkk-tkk-tkk-tkkk! Yousa cannot be hair. Dis army of Mackineeks up dare is new weesong,” Boss Nass said.
Cameron tilted her head to the right, half an inch. No more, no less. “I’m fine,” she said, smiling slightly again. She glanced around for three point five seconds, before turning back to Chris. “All of you, come with me if you want to live,” she said.
Otoh Gunga, High Tower Boardroom Jesse rolled her eyes and sighed in annoyance. “They should be grateful, you know. That they’re dealing with push over droids instead of metal,” she said, glancing at Obi-Wan again.
Kira blinked as she looked to Jesse. “Okay…one of these days, you’re going to have to explain all this talk about ‘metal’,” she grumbled, sharing a look with Kayla. ---------------------------------------------- Panaka stepped in front of Chris, and everyone else. “Before we go anywhere with you, we need some identification. This is an emergency situation and you and your friend aren’t making it any easier,” he told her. ---------------------------------------------- Kayla scoffed and said, “Wonderful. I rather kick droid ass any day and Kira is right. You will have to explain about ‘metal’.”
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse and smiled lightly. “Yeah, but if we don’t hurry quickly the Feds may take over Naboo.” He glanced at Kayla and added, “And you are gonna explain to the Council how you got yourself into this mess.”
Kayla looked at Obi-Wan and scoffed. “My ass I do,” she quipped. “It is you and Qui-Gon who will have to tell them that your plans failed and never took place.” She kicked Obi-Wan in the shin.
Obi-Wan growled in pain as he used the Force to heal his shin. “Damn that Kayla is gonna be the death of me one day,” he muttered and Kayla cackled. ---------------------------------------------- “My name?” Cameron said. “My name is Cameron,” she added, staring straight at Panaka, not even blinking. ---------------------------------------------- Otoh Gunga Qui-Gon sighed as he stepped forward. “A droid army is about to attack the Naboo. We must warn them,” he said calmly, staring at Boss Nass. Hopefully we can get some kind of transport,He mused.
“Wesa no like da Naboo. Tkk-tkk-tkk-tkk-tkk. Da Naboo tink day so smarty. Day tink day brains so big,” Boss Nass said.
“Once those droids take control of the surface, they will come here and take control of you,” Obi-Wan said calmly.
“Mesa no tink so. Day not know of uss-en,” Boss Nass replied.
“You and the Naboo form a symbion circle. What happens to one of you will affect the other. You must understand this,” Obi-Wan said.
“Wesa no carrrre-nn about da Naboo,” Boss Nass said.
Kayla rolled her eyes and said in a toneless voice, “Then speed is on our way.”
“Wesa gonna speed yous away,” Nass said.
“We could use a transport,” Kayla said in a toneless voice.
“Wesa give yousa una bongo. Da speediest way tooda Naboo ‘tis goen through the planet core. Now go,” Nass said. ---------------------------------------------- Chris stared at her, even more confused now. “Wait a minute...I thought you were that Jesse Solo girl, since you knew that…Terminator. So if you’re not here, then how do you know that guy? I’ve never seen one of those before, I don’t think any of us has,” Chris asked, scratching his head. Damn this is getting weird.
Cameron paused for two point three seconds. “He’s a Tee triple eight Terminator, sent back in time by Skynet to eliminate Jesse Solo,” she said calmly. “This way. It’s not safe here,” she added, picking up her handgun that she had dropped earlier on. ---------------------------------------------- Otoh Gunga Qui-Gon gave a respectful bow towards Boss Nass, before turning toward the exit. “Thank you for your help, we leave in peace.”
“That went well,” Jesse said, gently tugging on the sleeves of her uniform. “Hopefully it’ll be carrots and apples from here on in...Hopefully,” she quipped, smirking slightly. ---------------------------------------------- “Yeah, since that helps us so much,” Chris remarked sarcastically, rolling his eyes slightly.
“I repeat again, and this is the last time I’m going to say this, we have bigger things to deal with, like getting the Queen to safety...you should know this, Commander Chris. Stick to your duties,” Panaka told him.
Chris immediately straightened up, nodding. “Yes, sir,” he said.
Panaka looked to Cameron. “You seem diplomatic enough, and you say you can help us? We’ve got some big problems,” he said, looking in the direction of the Federation. ---------------------------------------------- Kayla glared at Jesse and shook her head. “Will your stop talking about food?” she growled. She glanced at Kira. “What would Jay say about this?” she quipped.
Jar Jar looked at Qui-Gon and the others. “Deysa setten yousa up,” Jar Jar said. “Goen through da planet core? Bad bombin’. Mmm…any help here would be hot.”
Obi-Wan looked at Qui-Gon and said, “Master, we’re short on time.” ---------------------------------------------- “Yes.” Cameron gave a curt nod, as she reloaded the magazine of her 9MM in less than five seconds. “This way, it would be best to get to the main hangar,” she added, walking ahead of the group. She glanced over at a nearby droid and paused. Then casually walked up behind it, and grabbed it by the neck.
OVERALL METAL STRUCTURE_WEAK TARGET DESIGN_FLAWED MINIMAL EFFORT REQUIRED TO TERMINATE TARGET OBJECTIVE_TERMINATE
Cameron tilted her head slightly, as she ripped the head of the battle droid clean off its body in a casual fashion. ---------------------------------------------- Otoh Gunga Jesse scowled slightly as she glanced over at Kayla. “It’s a phrase, genius. It means that we’ll be alright...hopefully,” she grumbled.
Qui-Gon paused as he glanced at Obi-Wan. “We’ll need a navigator to get us through the planet’s core,” he said, before glancing over towards Jar Jar. “This Gungan may be of help,” he mused, turning back towards Boss Nass. “What is to become of Jar Jar Binks here?” he asked.
“Not even gonna comment on that,” Kira replied, smirking slightly as she looked over at Kayla. ---------------------------------------------- Chris looked on in pure shock. He actually had no comment on that. He was far too stunned.
Panaka turned to Sabe. “Queen Amidala, if I can take the liberty of saying this...I think we have an ally here,” he said, breathless himself after what he had just witnessed. He had seen a lot of things in his day, but nothing like that. ---------------------------------------------- Kayla rolled her eyes at Jesse. “Never heard of it,” she said.
“Hisen soon to be pune-ished,” Boss Nass said. ---------------------------------------------- Cameron glanced down at the battle droid head in her hand, then back up at Chris and Panaka. “It’s flawed. The metal used and the endoskeletal structure. It’s flawed. Weak.” She thought for a moment. “Even a nine millimeter copper jacket slug could take its head off, if shot with precision,” she added, tossing the head aside. “Now, come. We must keep moving,” she said, walking towards the hangar bay. ---------------------------------------------- Otoh Gunga Qui-Gon scowled as he glanced at Boss Nass. “I saved his life. He owes me what you call a “life-debt.” Your gods demand that his life belongs to me now. He has been a great help to us. I hope the punishment will not be too severe,” he said, looking over at Jar Jar for a brief moment.
“Figured as much,” Jesse mused, in regards to both Kayla’s comment and Boss Nass’s answer. “We really should be going, you know,” she added, glancing over at Obi-Wan. ---------------------------------------------- Panaka glanced at Sabe and Chris, as well as all the others, and nodded at them. They all began to walk alongside Cameron, in the direction of the hangar.
“This has been a...fun day so far,” Chris commented, still amazed by all of this. ---------------------------------------------- “Binkssssss, yousa havena live-play with thisen hisen?” Nass asked.
Jar Jar nodded and joined the Jedi.
“Begone wit him!” Nass said.
“Count me outta dis one,” Jar Jar said. “Better dead here than dead in da core.” Then Jar Jar smacked his forehead and said, “Yee gods! What mesa sayin?”
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse and whispered, “Have a little patience darling. Qui-Gon knows what he’s doing.” He took Jesse’s hand and kissed it.
Kayla made a soft hacking noise and winked at Kira.
Jesse blinked and pulled her hand away. “What the hell do you think you’re doing?” she asked, fixing him with a glare. “Really, we need to get going,” she mused, heading out of the Council chambers.
Qui-Gon scowled deeply at his apprentice. “This is very un-Jedi like of you, Obi-Wan...” He trailed off, hoping that the warning would sink in. ---------------------------------------------- Theed, Naboo Cameron glanced around, then paused for a brief moment before crossing a street in order to get the hangar, and.... THUD!
A speeder flew by, the front of the hood nailing Cameron full force, not stopping for a second, causing the young woman to flatten against the cool, metal hood, her face inches away from the glass windshield and a very surprised driver.
The speeder came to a screeching halt. About twenty feet away, the driver too shocked to say anything. Cameron lifted her head up slightly, making eye contact with the young human. “Please remain calm,” she said, slowly lifting herself off the hood of the speeder and planting her feet firmly on the ground. ---------------------------------------------- Kayla chuckled in her hand.
Obi-Wan looked at Qui-Gon and said, “As if you never like a woman before Master Jinn.”
Qui-Gon scowled even more. “We’ll talk about this later, Obi-Wan. As Jesse stated before, we need to get going,” he said, following after the young woman.
Kira chuckled softly as she glanced at Kayla. “Young love...it’s entertaining, isn’t it?” She grinned, winking at the other Jedi. ---------------------------------------------- Chris blinked again. “Ookaay....at least she’ll stay calm, I...guess,” he commented with a shrug.”Let’s keep going.”
“Right,” Panaka agreed.
Cameron glanced back at the speeder for a brief moment before walking back over towards Chris, Panaka and the others.

“Do we have a plan for after we get off the planet safely?” Cameron asked, glancing over at Chris, her face void of any emotion.
“Uh, well, I’m just a simple security officer...I don’t know much past the initial plan here in the palace,” Chris answered, gesturing towards the Queen. “But she may know.”

Chapter 7
A strange little submarine propelled itself away from the Otoh Gunga, leaving the glow of the settlement in the distance.
In the cockpit of a ship underwater traveling to Theed Obi-Wan was in the co-pilot’s seat along with Kayla, Kira, Jesse, Qui-Gon, and Jar Jar guiding the craft.
“Dis is nutsen,” Jar Jar said. “Oh, gooberfish!”
“Master, why do you keep dragging these pathetic life forms along with us? Here, take over,” Obi-Wan asked as he handed the controls over to Jar Jar.
“Where wesa goin?”
“You’re the navigator,” Kayla quipped.
“Yo dreamen mesa hopen...”
“Just relax. The Force will guide us,” Kayla said.
“Ohh, max big, da Force. Well, dat smells stinkowiff,” Jar Jar said.
Jar Jar veered the craft to the left and turned the lights on. The coral vistas are grand, fantastic, and wonders.
“Why were you banished, Jar Jar?” Obi-Wan asked.
“It’s a longo tale-o, buta small part of it would be mesa...clumsy.”
“They banished you because you’re clumsy?” Obi-Wan asked in disbelief.
“Yousa might’n be sayin dat,” Jar Jar said.
As the little sub glided into the planet core, a large dark shape began to follow.
“Mesa caused mabbe one, two-y lettle bitty axadentes, huh? Yud-say boom da gassar, den crashin der boss’s heyblibber, den banished,” Jar Jar said.
Suddenly there was a loud CRASH and the little craft lurched to one side.
Qui-Gon looked around and saw a huge, luminous Opee Sea Killer had hooked them with its long gooey tongue.
Jesse thought for a moment, and gave a sarcastic chuckle. “Nice driving,” she said, gently resting her hand on Obi-Wan’s shoulder.
“So…what was all that talk about ‘metal’, Jesse?” Kira asked, glancing at her curiously. Can’t be any worse than the Federation, Kira mused, waiting for an answer from the younger woman.
Jesse visibly flinched at Kira’s question. “Right. The metal,” she said softly. “They’re cyborgs, really, and way more advanced than those stupid tin cans roaming around. They’re...they’re goddamn killing machines.” Jesse exhaled softly, before continuing. “The only reason why Skynet built and programmed the metal is to kill. Kill every single human being on earth. Nothing will stop them. Even if you’re not a target, if you try to stop a T-888, he’ll see you as a threat and kill you.” She paused for a moment again. “Like we’d always say, if any metal wanted you dead, you’re dead,” she said finally.
Theed, Naboo Cameron looked over at Queen Amidala expectantly. “Your Highness. What is the plan for when we get off planet?” she asked.
Obi-Wan smiled when Jesse put her hand on his shoulder. “Full speed ahead.”
Instead of full speed ahead, Jar Jar jammed the controls into reverse. The sub flew into the mouth of the creature.
“Oooops,” Jar Jar said.
Obi-Wan glared at Jar Jar and said, “Give me the blasted controls before you kill us.”
Obi-Wan took over the controls and the Opee Sea Killer instantly released the sub from its mouth.
Kayla glared at Jesse. “So more scrap metal for the junk yard,” she quipped. “Awesome.”
Jesse gave a humorless laugh. “Honey, you haven’t seen anything yet. The metal, they’re designed to seek out, and kill human beings. No matter what kind of skills they have,” she said darkly. “If one of those things wants you dead, you’re dead,” she added. “And I’ve currently got a T-888 on my ass,” she muttered under her breath, praying that no one would hear.
Kira sighed as she glanced around. “How much longer till we get to Theed?” she asked, fidgeting slightly in her seat. “What? I’m claustrophobic. Sue me,” she muttered, at the look she received from Jesse.
Kayla rolled her eyes. “Great,” she muttered.
Obi-Wan chuckled at Kayla and she smacked him upside the head.
“Shouldn’t be too much longer,” he muttered and then he smacked Kayla back and then she smacked him upside the head again and he left her lone.
Kira blinked as she recalled what Jesse had just said. “Wait. Did you just say that you have one of those things on your ass?” she asked.
Jesse flinched again. “Yeah unfortunately for me Skynet wants me dead. So they’re sending a T-888 after my ass,” she grumbled. “Damn things. What’s worse is that they look like us. They look...they look human. At least the 888’s are a little more...stiff when it comes to being emotive.” She laughed slightly at the thought.
Qui-Gon thought for a moment then spoke. “Head for that alcove,” he said, glancing at Obi-Wan and pointing at a nearby alcove.
Obi-Wan headed for the alcove.
“Why the hell didn’t you tell us that before?” Kayla asked in outrage. “Why do they want you dead anyway?”
Jesse shrugged. “It’s Skynet honey. They want every human being dead,” she said pointedly, stretching out her back slightly.
“Such a lovely thought, Jesse,” Kira replied, rolling her eyes.
“Hey! You wouldn’t be saying that if you had experienced Judgment Day! Three billion. Three billion people died that day.” Jesse shut her eyes for a brief moment then opened them again. “So just save your sarcasm and wit for someone who cares,” she said coldly.
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse and put his hand on her shoulder lightly. “I’m sorry these Skynets are after you,” he said sincerely. “Let’s just kick ass.”
Kayla rolled her eyes.
“It’s alright. It’s just showing the stupidity of humanity. Of how they couldn’t control such a power military defense program,” she said, giving her head a bit of a shake. “April 21st, 2011. Judgment Day. The day Skynet became self aware and got pissed off at humanity,” she added, rolling her eyes. “But anyways enough about that. What’s the plan for when we get to Theed?” she asked, glancing about the sub.
Theed, Naboo Cameron’s left hand twitched slightly as she shifted her gaze from Amidala to Chris and Panaka. “I’ll take point, in case we run into anymore trouble. Or Carter,” she said, gripping her 9MM in her right hand.
“Good idea. Right behind you,” Chris said, deciding to just go along with it for now. After all, he still had a duty to attend to, such as protecting Sabe and Padme. He couldn’t forget that just because some strange people had come along.

Chapter 8
Theed Main Road into Theed the long columns of the droid army move down the main road leading to Theed, the Naboo capital. The Queen watched helplessly from a window in the palace, a transport carrying Nute and Rune landed in Theed Plaza. They exit the transport.
“Viceroy, we’ve captured the Queen,” the battle droid said.
“Ah, victory,” Gunray said. ---------------------------------------------- Obi-Wan thought for a moment. “Let’s not try and get killed while we get in,” he said.
Kayla rolled her eyes and caught sight of droids firing shots. “Incoming!” she shouted as a blast came their way. She grabbed Kira out of the way just as a blast came her way.
Obi-Wan used the Force to lower Jesse down from the blast. ---------------------------------------------- Theed Palace Throne Room, Queen Amidala, Sio Bibble, along with her handmaidens Eirtae, Yane, Padme, Rabe, and Sache are surrounded by twenty droids. Captain Panaka and Naboo guards were also held at gunpoint. Nute Gunray and Rune stood in the middle of the room.
“How will you explain this invasion to the Senate?” Bibble asked.
“The queen and I will sign a treaty that will legitimize our occupation here. I have assurances it will be ratified by the Senate,” Nute said.
“I will not cooperate,” Amidala said.
“Now, now, Your Highness. In time, the suffering of your people will persuade you to see our point of view,” Nute said and then glanced a nearby droid. “Commander.”
OOM-9 stepped forward.
“Process them,” Nute said.
“Yes, sir!” OOM-9 said as it turned to his Sergeant. “Take them to Camp Four.”
The Sergeant marched the group out of the throne room.
Palace Plaza, Queen Amidala, Padme, Eirta, Yane, Rabe, Sache, Captain Panaka, some guards, Bibble, and four guards were led out of the palace by ten battle droids. The plaza was filled with tanks and battle droids, which they passrf on their way to the detention camp. Unbeknownst to them, Qui-Gon, Kayla, Jesse, Kira, Obi-Wan, and Jar Jar sneak across on a walkway above the plaza and jump from a balcony to begin an attack to rescue the Queen. ---------------------------------------------- Droids began shooting at everyone.
Four battle droids were instantly cut down. More droids move forward and were also cut down by the Kayla’s saber until there was only the droid sergeant left.
“Yousa guys bombad!” Jar Jar said.
Queen Amidala and the others were amazed. Jar Jar was getting used to this. They move between two buildings.
Cameron tilted her head to the side as she quietly observed the newcomers to the group. Two point three seconds pass as she walked over to Jesse. “We need to get out of here. Now,” she said, before turning towards Chris. “The hangar bay, we need to get to it,” she clarified.
Jesses glared hatefully at the young woman. No. She’s not a woman, she’s not human. She’s metal. Jesse shook her head to clear the thought. “I’ll agree to that,” Jesse said quietly, while still glaring daggers at Cameron.
Qui-Gon glanced over towards Queen Amidala. “Your Highness, we are the Ambassadors, for the Supreme Chancellor,” he said, giving a respectful bow.
Obi-Wan and Kayla both looked around. “This is insane,” they muttered.
“Your negotiations seem to have failed, Ambassador,” said Bibble. ---------------------------------------------- Chris looked on in confusion as six people randomly just jumped down and took out the guards that had captured them. “Who are these people?” he asked, looking to his commanding officer.
“The Jedi, I’m presuming. The ones that were sent to negotiate with the Trade Federation...as Governor Bibble said, they seemed to have failed,” Panaka replied, eyeing the Jedi carefully.
“Well, at least they rescued us,” Chris said, seeing a definite positive here. This was far better than them all being hauled off to that Camp 4 place, though on the other hand he didn’t see how they could keep another one of their new friends locked up. “But Cameron’s right, Captain, we need to get to the hangar. There’ll be more.”
Panaka nodded. “You go up ahead while we speak to the Jedi,” he ordered.
Chris nodded. “Yes sir!” he said obediently, darting off.
However, it was only twenty or thirty seconds later that Chris came back, almost as quickly as he left. “We’ve got a problem. They’ve sealed the doors.”
Qui-Gon shook his head. “The negotiations never took place,” he said, frowning slightly. ---------------------------------------------- Jesse shifted her gaze from Chris over to Cameron. “Can you get through that door?” she asked, smirking slightly. These people have no idea what they’re allying themselves with, she thought to herself.
Cameron tilted her head slightly as she glanced at the door, then at Jesse, then back at the door again. “Yes, but the wall would be much faster,” she said, stepping up towards the wall and examining it, looking for weak points.
Chris blinked. He looked at Panaka. “Walls would be much faster? What?” he asked. This woman kept confusing him more and more all the time. She almost sounded insane if she thought you could somehow get through a wall faster than a door.
“You expect me to know?” Panaka retorted, shrugging. “Right now our top concern is getting Queen Amidala to safety.”
Cameron glanced back at Chris and Panaka for two point three seconds then glanced back at the wall.
“One moment,” she said, before putting her left fist through the steel wall forcefully for a split second, then pulling her fist out. She repeated the action five times over. Finally, she kicked the last piece of steel in sending it flying across the hangar bay, creating a hole in the wall big enough for a person to fit through.
Jesse smirked slightly, as she watched Cameron take down the steel wall as if it were concrete. “Typical,” she muttered under her breath.
Kira blinked and then blinked again. “What...the...hacking...HELL?!” she asked, completely stunned by what just happened. ---------------------------------------------- Kayla glared as she watched Cameron blast the wall. “And they say I’m the queen of destruction,” she mused.
Obi-Wan watched in amazement. “Your Highness, we must make contact with the Republic.”
A guard stepped forward.
“They’ve knocked out all our communications,” he said.
“Do you have transports?” Kayla asked.
“In the main hanger. This way,” the guard said.
They disappear down an alleyway as the alarms were sounded. ---------------------------------------------- Central Hanger Hallway the Captain cracked open a side door to the central hanger. Qui-Gon looked in over his shoulder. Obi-Wan, Jesse, Kira, Kayla, Jar Jar, and the rest of the group were behind him. They saw several Naboo spacecraft guarded by about fifty battle droids. Alarms could be heard in the distance.
Chris watched in utter shock as Cameron very easily punched through a solid wall...Chris knew that Naboo built their walls and doors to last, and she destroyed one within all of two seconds.
She can’t be real. I’m not the smartest guy around, but no normal human can do this, he thought to himself.
However, he had to keep his mind focused on the mission. He ran off with the others until they reached the hallway.
Panaka looked out in the docking bay, before looking back to Qui-Gon. “There’s too many of them,” he told him.
Cameron stopped as she entered the hangar bay.
IDENTIFICATION_CARTER-T-888 THREAT LEVEL_10 REACTION_IMMEDIATE OBJECTIVE_TERMINATE
She walked over towards Carter in a casual manner, backhanding him across the face once she got within reach. Leaving no room for Carter to counterattack her, she grabbed him by the front of his shirt, and flung him into a wall head first. She stalked over and grabbed him by the shoulders, and smashed his head into the wall repeatedly, denting said wall in the process.
Carter reached back and grabbed Cameron’s arm, spinning her around for a split second, before throwing her across the room. He followed after her. Grabbing her by the forearms, he lifted her into the air. One point two seconds pass before Carter threw Cameron into a nearby wall again.
Getting to her feet, Cameron grabbed Carter’s arm as he approached her. She threw a right cross into his jaw then kneed him in the gut. One point three seconds pass before Cameron flipped Carter over her shoulder and onto the ground. She knelt down and backhands him across the face repeatedly.
Carter’s head whipped from side to side violently but no matter. He grabbed Cameron’s shoulders again, and shoved her back, getting to his feet in the process. He grabbed her by the neck and smashed her face first into a wall again.
She slammed into the wall with a ‘Thud’. Whirling around, Cameron grabbed a nearby steel rod and smashed the middle of it into the side of Carter’s head, causing him to stumble. She walked over and continued beat him with the steel rod in her hands.
Carter stumbled again, but not before pulling out his 9MM and putting five bullets into Cameron’s neck and chest. A couple stray bullets whiz past Cameron’s face, burning off some of the epidural layers covering her Coltan chassis and exposing the metal.
Cameron ignored the bullets that are now lodged in her chest and neck area. She grabbed Carter by the shoulders and lifted him up into the air with ease, then smashed him into the wall backwards. Keeping her grip intact, she threw him to the ground face first. She would not make the same mistake as last time. She straddled him quickly, pulling out her already active switchblade, and cut into the right hand side of Carter’s skull. She pulled away the epidural layers without concern. She used the blade to flip off the chip covering, then with her fingers, she grabbed the top portion of Carter’s chip, turned it counterclockwise, then yanked it out, deactivating him for good. Cameron stared at the 888 for two point three seconds before standing up, chip in hand. She glanced up at the others in the group.
“He’s no longer a threat, but we must burn his body,” she said, bending down, and picking up Carter and slinging him over his shoulder as if he were a sack of potatoes. She walked over to the group. “We must leave,” she said. “Now.” ---------------------------------------------- Kayla watched as Cameron caused more trouble. “Great the metal is on the loose again,” she sputtered.
“That won’t be a problem,” Obi-Wan said. “Your Highness, under the circumstances, I suggest you come to Coruscant with us.”
“Thank you, Ambassador, but my place is here with my people,” Amidala said.
“They will kill you if you stay,” Obi-Wan said.
“They wouldn’t dare,” Bibble said. ---------------------------------------------- “He’s right. They’ll force you to sign whatever the hell they want you to sign, then kill you.” Jesse thought for a moment then turned to Cameron. “How are you doing, Tin Miss?” she asked.

“I’m not 100%,” she said, tilting her head to the side by half an inch. Her left hand twitches slightly as she speaks.
“How far from 100% are you?” she asked, narrowing her eyes. “I’ll be damn if you become more damaged to the point where you revert back to your original programming. If that happens, we’re all screwed,” Jesse said, lowering her voice so only Cameron could hear.
Cameron didn’t reply. She shifted her weight slightly so that Carter was resting comfortably on her shoulder. ---------------------------------------------- Panaka just shook his head at the fight. It was obvious what Cameron was now, and Carter was taken care of, or would be anyway. He turned back to the others. “They need her to sign a treaty to make this invasion of theirs legal. They can’t afford to kill her.”
Chris let Panaka do all the talking with the Jedi, Bibble, and the Queen, because that was his place. He was also more distracted by that fight...it was a very brutal, all-out fight, and now everything about Cameron made sense.
She was a Terminator, just like that the one they had seen earlier.
Which also explains why she doesn’t say much, he thought to himself, recalling how quiet the first Terminator was.
“Seriously, we need to get going,” Kira said, frowning slightly, before turning towards Cameron. “And are you sure that thing is dead?” she asked, eying Carter cautiously.
“Yes,” Cameron replied, extending her left hand, and revealing Carter’s chip. “A Terminator cannot function without its chip,” she added. ---------------------------------------------- Qui-Gon glanced over at Amidala. “The situation here is not what it seems. There is something else behind all this, your Highness. There is no logic in the Federation’s move here. My feelings tell me they will destroy you,” he said softly.
Jesse shook her head and closed her eyes as she leaned against a nearby wall. Here I thought everything in regards to Skynet was over...I thought I’d be safe here. She sighed softly and opened her eyes, her arms gently crossed over her chest.
“Damned machines,” she muttered under her breath.
“Please, Your Highness, reconsider. Our only hope is for the Senate to side with us...Senator Palpatine will need your help,” Bibble said. “Your Highness, I will stay here and do what I can...They will have to retain the Council of Governors in order to maintain control. But you must leave...”
The Queen turned to Padme and Eirtae.
“Either choice presents a great risk...to all of us,” Amidala said.
“We are brave, Your Highness,” Padme said.
“If you are to leave, Your Highness, it must be now,” Obi-Wan said.
“Then, I will plead our case before the Senate,” Amidala said. “Be careful, Governor.” ---------------------------------------------- Central Hanger Day Kayla cursed, “Great!”
More droids entered the area. “Just what we need another fine mess of droids.” Kayla turned to Kira. “I believe this situation is worse than our last mission on Kessel with the damn clankers and the factory almost blowing us up to hell.”
The door opened to the main hanger. Qui-Gon, Kayla, Kira, Jesse, Obi-Wan, Captain Panaka, Jar Jar, two guards, three handmaidens Padme, Eirtae, Rabe, followed by Queen Amidala, head for a sleek chrome spacecraft. Sio Bibble, Yane and Sache stay behind. ---------------------------------------------- Chris nodded at Cameron, but also turned his attention back to the others as they made their way into the hanger. There were more droids arriving and many guards, pilots, and ground crew that were being held hostage.
“We need to free those pilots!” Panaka yelled, pointing in their direction. ---------------------------------------------- Cameron glanced over to where Panaka was pointing. “I’ll handle it,” she said, dropping Carter’s body with a loud ‘thud’. She walked over towards the group of pilots and stared at the battle droids guarding them. She tilted her head to the side, before grabbing the nearest droid and flung him into another. She spun on her right foot as a few stray blaster bolts slammed into her stomach. She grabbed another droid and slammed it into the wall. Turning, she grabbed a blaster off the floor and shot the last remaining battle droid. She glanced down at the pilots. “Go,” she said, as she ran back towards the group, the pilots following behind her.
“Show off,” Jesse muttered, as she stood next to Obi-Wan, and Carter’s body, which she viciously kicked in the head. “Okay, that was a bad idea.” She grimaced as she shook out her foot.
Obi-Wan watched as Jesse kicked Carter and shook his head. “I’ll take care of that.” Obi-Wan headed toward the group of captured pilots.
Qui-Gon and the Queen, Captain Panaka, Jar Jar and the rest of the group approach the guards at the ramp of the Naboo craft.
“Where are you going?” asked the guard droid.
Qui-Gon narrowed his eyes at the droid. “I’m Ambassador for the Supreme Chancellor, and I’m taking those people to Coruscant,” he stated, crossing his arms.
Cameron glanced at Jesse briefly before picking up Carter’s body again. “We should go,” she said.
“A little obvious, don’t you think?” Jesse asked, glaring at the female Terminator.
“Coruscant that doesn’t compute. You’re under arrest!” guard droid said, pointing its blaster at them.
The droid guard drew his weapon, but before any of the droids could fire, they were cut down. Other guards ran to their aid. Obi-Wan attacked the guards around the pilots. Qui-Gon stood, fighting off droids as the others rush on board the spacecraft. Obi-Wan and the freed pilots including Ric Olie follow suit. Guards and ground crew members rush on board the ship. The other pilots and guards race to Sio Bibble. After everyone has made it onto the ship, Qui-Gon jumped on board. Alarms sound. More droids rush into the hanger and fire as the ship took off.
Theed Hanger Entry, the ship exited the hanger. Battle droids were standing in the hanger shoot at them.
In space the sleek spacecraft sped away from the planet of Naboo and headed for the deadly Federation blockade.

Chapter 9
Naboo Spacecraft Cockpit Jesse exhaled softly as she sat down on the floor, her back leaning against the wall. “It’s been one hell of a day so far.” She mused, gently drawing her knees up to her chest and wrapping her arms around them. “One hell of a da---” Jesse blinked as she looked over at Cameron. “What the hell are you doing?” she asked.
Cameron glanced back over at Jesse, the front of her shirt slightly opened, and a pair of tweezers in her right hand. “Getting the bullets out,” she replied calmly, as she pulled another bullet fragment from out of her chest.
Jesse wrinkled her nose in disgust. “I can see that,” she replied sarcastically. “Could you do that somewhere else then? Somewhere not in public?” she asked.
Obi-Wan watched as Cameron began to get the bullets out. “Well there really isn’t a place for her to do that,” he said.
Kayla glared and snorted. “That’s disgusting.”
The pilot, Ric Olie, navigated toward the massive battleship, Qui-Gon and Captain Panaka watch.
“Our communications are still jammed,” Ric said.
Naboo Spacecraft Droid Hold Jar Jar was led into a low, cramped doorway by Obi-Wan.
“Now stay here, and keep out of trouble,” Obi-Wan said. ---------------------------------------------- Obi-Wan closed the door. Jar Jar looked around and saw a long row of five short, dome-topped Astro droids (R2 units). The all look alike, except for their paint color, and they all seem to be shut down.
“Ello, boyos,” Jar Jar said.
No response.
“Disa wanna longo trip...hey?” Jar Jar asked.
Jar Jar tapped a bright red R2 Unit on the head, and its head popped up a bit. He let out a gasp as he lift the head.
“Tis opens? Oooops! Many springs and things come flying out,” Jar Jar said.
Jar Jar quickly closed it again, very embarrassed.
“Yoi! Just yoken!” said Jar Jar. ---------------------------------------------- “Powers back! That little droid did it. He bypassed the main power drive. Deflector shield up, at maximum,” Ric said.
The lone blue droid finished his repairs and went back into the ship. The Naboo spacecraft raced away from the Federation battleship.
“There’s not enough power to get us to Coruscant...the hyperdrive is leaking,” Ric said.
Chris nearly hit the wall as the ship jolted while the quick escape and repairs were being made. He rubbed his head. “Ow,” he simply said. He saw what Cameron was doing, and was a little freaked out by it himself...but her random actions were becoming so common in such a short amount of time, he was starting to adjust.
He looked to Jesse. “If you don’t mind me asking, ma’am, who are you? I knew that Jedi were negotiating with the Federation, but I don’t recall it being an entire squad of Jedi.”
“ ‘Name’s Jesse, mate,” she said, smiling slightly at Chris, and giving him a small salute. “And over there is the Tin Miss,” Jesse added, jerking her thumb towards Cameron, who was still pulling bullets out of her chest and neck.
Kira rolled her eyes as she glanced at Cameron. “And people say that I’m strange,” she muttered, sitting down on a nearby bench, her right hand resting lightly on her knee.
“Yeah, think I’ve met the Terminators,” Chris said with a sigh then Jesse’s name clicked in his head. “Ahh, yeah, Jesse Solo, right? No wonder that first one showed up at the palace looking for you.” ---------------------------------------------- Kayla laughed at what Kira said. “Not going to even comment on that,” she said.
“Well this has been interesting,” Amidala said. “If you don’t mind I think I am going to retire to my quarters for a bit onboard the ship. Before I do I believe there is a little droid we ought to commend.” She glanced at Panaka. “Will you find the little droid responsible for our safety?” she asked.
“Yes, my Queen,” Panaka said, turning to go find the astromech droid that saved the day.
Chris looked towards Sabe. “Glad to see you safe and out of trouble, Queen Amidala,” he simply told her in a serious tone, with a small smile.
Jesse gave a bit of a laugh. “Yeah. Damn trips. At least they’re a little more...stiff when it comes to emotions.” She mused. “Honestly, I’d be more worried if I had her hunting me down,” she said, glancing at Cameron again. “Just…try not to seem like a freak. You know what I mean?” she asked.
Cameron glanced back at Jesse. “Freak. Weirdo. Kook. Oddball. Crackpot. Strange duck. Weird potato. Nut?” She paused for a moment then spoke again. “I’ve been reading the dictionary. I don’t sleep,” she added, pulling out another bullet from her neck.
Cock pit Qui-Gon scowled slightly as he glanced at Ric. “We’ll have to land somewhere to refuel and repair the ship,” He mused, looking over at the star charts.
Amidala smiled at Chris. “I’m glad that we’re all safe and out of trouble,” she said. “But I think things are about to get much worse since the hyperdrive is messed up.”
Kayla studied a star chart on a monitor.
“Here, Master. Tatooine...It’s small, out of the way, poor...The Trade Federation has no presence there,” Obi-Wan said.
Chris smiled back at her, and turned back to Cameron. “So....tell me a little more about yourself. I think Jesse’s the only one in here who knows anything about you. Are you like an assassin, infiltrator, commando?” he asked curiously.
Cameron glanced up at Chris, while pulling another bullet out of her neck. “An infiltrator,” she clarified. She thought for a moment and gave a small smile.
Jesse shifted then laid down on her back. “She’s been around for a while. She was reprogrammed by the resistance leader to help us win the war against Skynet,” she added, resting her hands behind her head.
“So you’re saying that...” Kira trailed off for a moment, allowing Jesse to speak again.
“Yeah...if something happens to her chip, she may revert back to her original programming,” Jesse clarified, cringing at the thought. “Killing humans,” she added softly. She pondered for a moment then shook her head. “Anyways, enough of that,” she quipped.
Kayla was listening. “How long does it take to land a ship?” she muttered.
Obi-Wan shook his head. “This has been an interesting turn of events,” he said with a smirk.
Kayla glared at him and said, “Can it Kenobi.”
Naboo Spacecraft raced away.
Chris nodded. “Yeah, probably a good idea...nice to meet all of you,” he politely stated, before returning to Sabe’s side.
Just then, Panaka entered again, with a little blue droid at his side. “This is an extremely well put together little droid. Without a doubt, it saved the ship, as well as our lives,” he said, looking up at Sabe.

Chapter 10
Federation battle ship conference room Gunray glanced around nervously as the holo image of Sidious came into view. “We control all the cities in the North and are searching for any other settlements,” he reported.
A wicked grin spread across Sidious’s face. “Destroy all high-ranking officials, Viceroy...slowly...quietly. And Queen Amidala, has she signed the treaty?” he asked.
Gunray visibly flinched. “She has disappeared, My Lord. One Naboo cruiser got past the blockade,” he said, sweat trickling down the back of his neck.
Sidious growled softly. “Viceroy, find her! I want that treaty signed!”
Gunray flinched again. “My Lord, it’s impossible to locate the ship. It’s out of our range,” he squeaked.
Sidious sneered, and crossed his arms over his chest. “Not for a Sith...” he mused.
Suddenly, a second figure appears behind Sidious. “This is my apprentice, Darth Maul.” He smiled wickedly again. “He will find your lost ship,” he said, fading out of view.
Gunray nodded nervously. “Yes of course, my Lord. As you wish.” He turned to Rune. “This is getting out of hand. Now there are two of them!!” he said, cringing.
Rune shook his head. “We should not have made this bargain. What will happen when the Jedi become aware of these Sith Lords?” he said, paling at the thought. ---------------------------------------------- Naboo Cruiser, Main Hold Kira blinked as her commlink went off. “If you’ll excuse me for a moment,” she said, as she stood up and wandered out of the main hold.
Cameron buttoned up her shirt as she finally finished the repairs on herself. “Once we land, we’ll have to burn Carter’s body. It’s very important that we do,” she said, glancing about the room.
“It is to be commended...what is its number?” Amidala asked.
Kayla sneaked out of the room and followed Kira quietly.
Obi-Wan looked over to Jesse and said, “Well apparently no one wanted to keep us company.” He smirked.
Panaka leaned down and wiped some dirt off of the side of the droid. He examined it for a moment, before looking back up at Amidala. “R2-D2, Your Highness,” he replied.
Jesse shrugged. “Their loss,” she said, gently stretching her legs out, and nudging Obi-Wan’s knee with her foot in the process. She shut her eyes and smiled slightly. ---------------------------------------------- Naboo Cruiser cargo hold, Kira was having a conversation with someone. “Look. Everything is fine, Jay, really. I’m not in any danger, there’s no need to worry. Kayla’s here, as well as some...I don’t even know, really.” Kira thought for a moment, and rolled her eyes at her mention of Cameron.
And no need to tell him about the other two Jedi on board...he already resents being on neutral ground with Kayla, she thought, cringing slightly at the thought.
“All the more reason why I should be worried.” Came the sarcastic reply. “You and I both know what she’s like,” Jango said.
“Will you just…God, you infuriate me sometimes, you know that?!?!” Kira growled, leaning against the wall of the cargo hold.
“I can definitely say the same for you as well.”
“Shut up, Jango. You’re smartass comments aren’t helping.” Kira thought for a moment and grinned. “I better go, God knows what Kayla might pull on board this ship,” she said, giving a soft chuckle.
“Alright, I’ll talk to you later gorgeous.” Kira could almost hear the smirk on Jango’s face through the comm line. “Right...I…”Kira paused for a second, a slight red tinge adorning her cheeks at the nickname. I miss you...a lot...but hell will most likely freeze over before I admit that to you, Jay.
“I’ll talk to you later, Jango. Hope to see you soon,” she said quickly, cutting the comm line. She sighed and closed her eyes after putting her commlink away.
“Thank you R2-D2,” Amidala said. She looked over at Padme. “Padme.”
Padme bowed before the Queen.
“Clean this droid up the best you can. It deserves our gratitude,” Amidala said with a smile. “Continue Captain.”
Obi-Wan smiled when Jesse nudged his knee with her foot. “Yeah their loss,” he agreed. “So care to tell a little about yourself?” he asked gently. ---------------------------------------------- Kayla was leaning against the wall listening to Kira’s conversation. I knew it, she thought with a wicked smile.
When Kira finished her conversation with Jay Kayla’s grin grew wider. “Well that was interesting,” she said. “I knew you had a thing for him.” ---------------------------------------------- Chris watched as the conversation amongst Panaka, the droid, and the Queen ended, and then he looked to Cameron. “So, why is it so important to burn the body? You seem to really want to do that,” he said. ---------------------------------------------- “Hasn’t anyone told you it’s not nice to eavesdrop?” Kira asked, glaring at the younger woman, the red tinge on her cheeks steadily increasing. “And I already told you, I don’t have a thing for Jay. We’re friends. Nothing more,” she said, looking away briefly. Liar. Liar. Liar. LIAR! A small voice said in the back of her mind. ---------------------------------------------- Main hold Jesse looked at Obi-Wan. “There’s really not much to tell. I was a military commander for the human resistance. I drove submarines...a bubblehead, if you will.” Jesse grinned, giving a light chuckle at the thought. “Other than that, my life has been pretty uneventful.” She shrugged, crossing her legs at her ankles. ---------------------------------------------- Cameron tilted her head to the side. “We’re capable of self repair. Even if we’re blown to pieces and our heads are no longer attached to our bodies we can repair ourselves,” she said. “And, if someone smart enough were to find the body, they could potentially make a new chip and reactivate him.” ---------------------------------------------- Queen’s Chambers Qui-Gon stepped forward as he spoke. “Your Highness, we are heading for a remote planet called Tatooine. It is a system far beyond the reach of the Trade Federation. There we will be able to make needed repairs, then travel on to Coruscant,” he stated calmly.
“Whoever created you people built you to last,” Chris stated, once again amazed.
“Then we will burn it immediately once we get to Tatooine, don’t worry,” Panaka assured her. “We can’t have our safety compromised.”
Panaka then heard Qui-Gon’s statement, and his head swerved to look at him and the Queen. “Your Highness, Tatooine is very dangerous. It’s controlled by an alliance of gangs called the Hutts. I do not agree with the Jedi on this.”
Kayla smirked cheekily and said, “I wasn’t eavesdropping.” She couldn’t help but grin. “Don’t lie to me,” she said. “It’s written all over your face that you like him.”
Main hold Obi-Wan listened as Jesse spoke. “I’ve been a Jedi my entire life,” he said.
Amidala and Padme exchange a look. Padme moved next to the droid. “We are in your hands,” she said to Qui-Gon as if that solved the matter.
Amidala looked at Chris and asked, “Mind escorting me to my chamber Commander Chris? Captain, inform me when we get there please.”
Naboo Spacecraft Main Area Padme sat in the main area, cleaning R2-D2, the brave little Astro Droid.
Jar Jar popped out of an open door.
“Heydey ho!” Jar Jar said.
Panaka nodded. “Yes, Your Highness,”
Chris also nodded. “Yeah, sure, my Queen,” he replied, preparing to head to her chambers.
“Sometimes it does have to be compromised,” Cameron said, walking alongside Chris for the time being. “Our endoskeletons...They’re made of Coltan. It’s a highly resistant metal. Anything below 2500 degrees c will do absolutely nothing. And the technology that was used to create us is highly advanced. Even if you have removed a terminators chip, the chip can be reactivated if it’s connected to a significant power source,” she explained. “If the Federation were to get their hands on Carter’s body...” She trailed off for moment. “Then again, it seems that they’re not very smart,” she added. ---------------------------------------------- Cargo hold Kira gritted her teeth as she glared at Kayla. “Look, I’ve already told you! We’re friends, nothing more. I…” She thought for a moment and sighed. “I’m just kidding myself, aren’t I?” she asked, smiling slightly. Damn it...he’s managed to completely steal my heart…stupid Mandalorian. This is all his fault. She shook her head and sat down on the floor. “This is all his fault,” she muttered, still smiling softly.
Main hold Jesse and Obi-Wan continued their conversation. “What’s it like? Being a Jedi?” Jesse asked, finally opening her eyes, and glancing over at Obi-Wan. ---------------------------------------------- Padme glanced up at Jar Jar and jumped slightly, at the exact same time that R2 did. A small gasp escaped her lips as she did so. ---------------------------------------------- Sabe followed Chris to her chambers and entered the room. “Time to take off this dress,” she said as she went to her changing room to put on a dress that was similar to the queen’s evening wear. She changed into a blue dress and she took her hair down and braided it in a French braid.
“That’s much better,” Sabe said. “I honestly don’t see how Padme does it.”
Sabe sat down on her bed. “You can sit if you want to,” she said to Chris. ---------------------------------------------- Cargo hold Kayla snickered at Kira. “Keep telling yourself that darling and he’s gonna be the death of you,” she quipped with a smirk. “He cares about you more than you think he does.” Then she thought for a moment. “I take it he is still pissed at me for the trouble I caused him on Kessel?” she asked with a satisfied smile.
Main hold Obi-Wan thought for a moment and said, “It’s actually a boring life to someone who has never been trained as a Jedi.” He thought for a second. “I’m grateful to be Qui-Gon’s apprentice. I’m still a Padawan. You have to follow the rules just like with other group.” He turned to look at Jesse.
“Sorry, me not mean to scare yousa,” Jar Jar said as he handed her an oil can. “Heres go.” ---------------------------------------------- Chris nodded. “Don’t worry. The Feds don’t create the best machinery...even I knew that before you came along. Those things just look pathetic,” he said, thinking of the battle droids. “But in a big army, they may be more of a threat.”
Then, he and Sabe left Cameron behind as they entered Sabe’s room. Chris had to commend Sabe; she was an excellent actor and looked eerily similar to the real Queen.
“Wow, you look stunning,” he said as he took a seat in a chair. ---------------------------------------------- Cargo hold Kira chuckled softly. “Maybe...I don’t know…that man is impossible to read.” She shook her head as a thought came to mind. “He’s still pissed at you period. I know he still resents being on neutral ground with you,” she said, cringing at the thought. ---------------------------------------------- Main hold Padme smiled as she took the oil can from Jar Jar. “That’s alright,” she said. “And thanks, this little guy is quite a mess,” she said, giving a soft laugh. ---------------------------------------------- Jesse glanced back at him and raised an eyebrow. “What?” she asked smirking slightly. ---------------------------------------------- Sabe smiled and she listened as Chris spoke. “Yeah they are cowards,” she agreed. “They are more of a threat to our people.” Then she smiled when he told her she looked stunning. “Thanks,” she said. “So how did I do impersonating the Queen?” She went to grab a washcloth to wash off the make-up off her face. “I’m going to put a new coat on later,” she said. ---------------------------------------------- Cargo hold Kayla laughed and said, “That’s okay if he does. I’m still pissed at him for blowing my little operation. If he hadn’t stopped me from blowing up those droids it would have been hell.” She laughed at the thought. “He doesn’t have to worry though. I won’t kill him. Next time he does something stupid like that I’ll smack him and leave you to deal with him.” ---------------------------------------------- Main hold Obi-Wan looked at Jesse and said, “Nothing. Can’t a guy look?” He smirked and brushed his hand lightly on her arm.
“Like I said, you did great. If you ever wanna stop being a handmaiden, go into acting. You’d be on all the holovids,” Chris joked, though he was telling the truth. Sabe could pull everything off perfectly. “I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference had I not been in on the plan.” ---------------------------------------------- Cargo hold Kira thought for a moment, then laughed. “He’d be in trouble then, I can assure you,” she said, grinning wickedly. “I’m still wondering how to tell him.” She shook her head slightly. “I just…I know he doesn’t like to get close to people, he’s told me that before. He also told me that attachments kill...I just...I don’t know.”
Main hold Jesse smirked even more. “Maybe...maybe not…I haven’t decided yet,” she said slyly, the smirk on her face increasing.
Padme glanced up at Jar Jar and thought for a moment. “I’m Padme, I attend Her Highness. You’re a Gungan, aren’t you?” she asked.
Sabe smiled and said, “Why thank you.” Then she adjusted herself on her bed and she kicked off her heels. “But wearing all that stuff can give you a headache,” she joked. “Well you are one of Panaka’s best officers and plus I may have had something to do with you being in on the plan.”
Cargo hold Kayla laughed and said, “You could always bait him into telling him how you feel. I’m pretty sure he knows you got feelings for him. If he doesn’t then he’s a damn idiot who needs me to knock some since into him.”
Main hold Obi-Wan chuckled and said, “Well I’ll take my chances.” He smirked cheekily at Jesse.
Jar Jar nodded. “Yea,” he said.
“If it was you that had the Queen let me on it, then thanks...I hope I’ve lived up to your expectations. I wasn’t really expecting all that chaos back at the palace on Naboo,” Chris said to her. ---------------------------------------------- Sabe looked at Chris and said, “I don’t think anyone was expecting all the insanity.” She sighed. “I’ll be glad when all this gets back to normal.” Cargo hold Kira gave Kayla an incredulous look. “Bait Jango? Are you kidding me? He’d know something was up and for me to just tell him and not skirt around the truth.” Kira thought for a moment then grinned. “Sometimes he’s way too paranoid for his own good,” she added, giving a soft chuckle.
Main hold Jesse smirked. “Oh really? Just how good do you think your chances are?”Jesse asked, as she finally sat up, crossing her legs in the process.
Padme thought for a moment, then finally spoke. “How’d you end up here with us?” she asked, somewhat curious.
Cargo Hold Kayla nodded. “No argument there,” she agreed. “Next time I go on a mission I’ll be sure to kick his ass.” She chuckled and then she sighed. “This is turning out to be interesting,” she said.
Main hold Obi-Wan thought for a moment and said, “On a scale of ten I say five.”
Jar Jar shrugged and said, “Me no know...mesa day starten pitty okeyday witda brisky morning munchen. Den boom....getten berry skeered, un grabbed dat Jedi, and before mesa knowen it...pow! Mesa here.”
Artoo gave a sympathetic beep.

Chapter 11
The Naboo spacecraft landed in the desert in a swirl of dust. The spaceport of Mos Espa can be seen in the distance. Naboo Spacecraft Main Area Obi-Wan was hoisting the hyperdrive out of a floor panel. Jar Jar rushed up to him and fell to his knees.
“Obi-Wan, sire, pleeese, no mesa go!” Jar Jar said.
“Sorry, Qui-Gon’s right. You’ll make things less obvious,” Obi-Wan said.
Jar Jar walked back to Artoo in the hallway as Qui-Gon, dressed as a farmer entered the main area.
“The hyperdrive generator is gone. We will need a new one,” Obi-Wan said.
Sabe’s Quarters Sabe changed her clothes again and put on her make-up and said, “Chris I think we are there. Tell Panaka I wish for Padme to go with the Jedi. I’m curious about the planet.”
Anakin Skywalker was breathing hard as he ran as fast as his little legs could take him. Dodging varies tents that made up the food market, bumping into a few people along the way. After five minutes of running, Anakin stooped on a corner of a building. He looked around once to make sure he wasn’t followed. He gave a big sigh of relief. Anakin was cradling some device in hands with care.
“I can’t believe I found a TranLang III Communications module for my 3PO unit!” Anakin said to himself. His face was excited with a big smile. He stared at awe at the module. He was tired from running, the three suns on the Tatioone wasn’t helping either. Suddenly a cool feeling of a shadow overtook him. For a brief moment he embraced the soothing feeling until he looked up and saw a large Rodian.
“Uh-oh!” Anakin gasped at the sight of the Rodian.
“There you are boy!” the Rodian said out of breath. “Give me back my module!”
Qui-Gon scowled as he glanced at Obi-Wan. “That’ll complicate things. Don’t let them send any transmissions. Be wary, I sense a disturbance in the Force,” he said.
Kira thought for a moment, then removed her outer jacket, leaving her in a dark, navy blue, form fitting t-shirt, and black pants with black military ankle boots. “Alright, so what’s the plan?” he asked, glancing at both Kayla and Qui-Gon.
Qui-Gon thought for a moment, then spoke. “We’ll need to find some kind of shop, or some kind of junk dealer to barter with.” He quickly checked over his supplies, straightened his tunic, and poncho. “Alright, let’s get going,” he said, as he walked down the ramp.
Cameron silently followed Qui-Gon, Kira, Kayla, Jar Jar and Artoo down the ramp. Her attire was simple enough, a tan colored tunic, and tan colored pants and boots to go with it. She glanced around the desert, her optical sensors compensating for the sudden change in brightness.
Kira blinked as she noticed that Cameron was walking alongside her. “I didn’t even know that you were coming with us,” she said, somewhat surprised.
A small smile tugged at the corner of Cameron’s lips as she glanced back at Kira. “It was a last minute decision,” she said. “Besides, I can help with getting parts and determining the quality of them. To ensure that we’re not being ripped off,” she added.
Qui-Gon raised an eyebrow at that. “I wasn’t aware that you could do that. I know you’re a machine and all, though I didn’t realize how advanced you are.”
Cameron smiled again, but didn’t reply as the group continued to make their way towards the small settlement of Mos Espa.
Obi-Wan nodded and said, “Yes Master.”
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse. “You’re staying?” he asked with a smirk.
Kayla joined Kira and she headed out the door with them. She looked across the area and spotted a gray Mandalorian ship known as Jaster’s Legacy. A wicked smirk formed on her lips. “Oi Kira,” she said with a glint in her eyes. “Isn’t that Jay’s ship over there?” She pointed her thumb toward the crowd.
Jesse chuckled softly and nodded. “It’s a possibility,” she mused, leaning against the wall.
Mos Espa Kira blinked and glanced over in the direction that Kayla was pointing in, her stomach knotting up slightly in the process. “Yeah...it is,” she said quietly. “I’ll...I’ll catch up with you guys in a bit. There’s something I have to do,” she added, wandering over towards Jaster’s Legacy.
Qui-Gon gave a curt nod. “Alright, let’s keep moving then,” he said, as the group separated from Kira.
Kayla glanced at the group and added, “There’s something I got to do too.” She slipped off from the group and followed Kira. “Don’t worry, I won’t come near you when you talk to him,” she added. “I just want to see a reaction.” She smirked. “I’ll be looking at spare parts.” She raised her black hood over her head and she went to look at spare parts as she past Jango’s ship so he wouldn’t recognize her.
Onboard the ship, Obi-Wan smiled. “Good at least I will have someone to talk to,” he replied.
Mos Espa hangar bay Kira made her way to Jay’s ship. “And here we go,” Kira muttered, as she finally spotted Jango underneath one of the wings of his ship, working quietly. “I thought you were on a bounty, Jay?” she said, smiling slightly.
Jango turned and smirked slightly. “I was. I already finished,” he said, putting the hydrospanner he was using down on the ground. “Why are you here?” he asked, giving her a curious look.
“Our ship is in need of repairs, though I’m sure that a T-14 hyperdrive is gonna be hard to come by,” Kira replied, rolling her eyes. “Nothing’s ever easy, is it?” she asked, giving Jango a small smile.
He gave a curt nod in reply. “You’re right on both accounts. Tatooine’s limited when it comes to parts, and what little any junk dealer has, the price is ridiculously high. You’ll need good money to get what you need.” He thought for a moment, then finally wandered over to her. “If you need help getting anything, let me know alright?” The corner of his lips twitched upwards slightly.
Kira smiled slightly as she gently took hold of his hand and gave it a light squeeze. “Thank you. I’m sure that everyone on board would appreciate that.” She thought for a moment, then grinned. “I know I do...” She trailed off, thinking for a split second. “Listen, I…I need to talk to you about something…important.”
Kayla was being nosy at some junk dealer’s shop nearby. She was merely listening in on the conversation at hand being really quite.
Hopefully those two will get their emotions out in the air, she mused and pictured Kira beating the hell out of Jango.
Jango stared at her intently. “What’s on your mind?” he asked, taking another step towards her.
Kira thought for a moment, then blushed slightly. “I just...I think…” Kira trailed off for a moment, exhaling softly. “I seriously think that I’m beginning to see you as more than just a friend,” she admitted. Just start off slow...no need to scare him off...or cause him to go into a rant. She gave a mental laugh at that last thought.
Jango blinked once, then blinked again. “Kira...” he trailed off, giving her a stern look.
“I know ‘attachments kill’. I just…” Kira thought for a moment, then smiled slightly, the red tinge on her cheeks slowly increasing. “I can’t help it, Jango. I can’t...I can’t stop thinking about you.” She thought for a moment, and blushed even more. “About us,” she said quietly.
Jango thought for a moment, then shook his head. “It’s too dangerous, Kira,” he said. “If anything were to happen to you, I’d never forgive myself.”
“I know,” she said quietly, glancing up at him. “I just…I never meant to fall in love with you,” Kira finally admitted, gently resting her forehead against his.
Jango shut his eyes and exhaled softly. Why me? he asked himself. “The feeling’s mutual,” he said quietly, gently brushing his lips against the tip of her nose. He thought for a moment, then pulled her in close, his arms gently wrapping themselves around her waist.
Kayla glanced out of the corner of her eye and saw that Kira and Jango were having their little talk and smirked wickedly. Yes! she thought with a smirk. I was right ha! In your face, Kira.
Kayla laughed out loud and she paid for her part. “Time to go rub Kira’s nose in it,” she said.
Kira thought for a moment, then gently wrapped her arms around his neck. “I hope you know you’re stuck with me now,” she said, giving a soft chuckle.
Jango gave her an impish grin. “I know. And I hope you know that I wouldn’t have it any other way,” he said, giving her an amused look.
Kira snickered slightly as she snuggled closer to him. “I don’t think that there’s much else to say,” Kira mused, glancing at Jango.
“Hmm...” Jango smirked again as he gently rested his hands on the small of Kira’s back. He thought for a moment, then tilted his head down and took hold of Kira’s lips with his own in a gentle manner.
Kira gasped softly as Jango finally kissed her. Goddamn him, she thought, as she began to kiss him back.
Kayla watched the scene unfold and she smirked wickedly. She walked over to the group casually and lowered her hood. “Well, well, well, what do we have here?” she said in an amused tone. “If it isn’t bucket head himself in the flesh and without his tin can on.” She crossed her arms across her chest.
Jango gave an annoyed sigh as his lips parted from Kira’s. “For kark’s sake, Kayla. Why the hell do you always have to stick your nose where it doesn’t belong?!” he growled.
And there he goes again…there’s only one way to shut him up and deflate his ego at the same time. An evil grin tugged at the corner of Kira’s lips as the thought came to mind. She glanced up at Jango and finally spoke. “Jay, do me a favor, will you…” She trailed off for a moment, grinning even more. “Just shut up for once,” she said finally, before kneeing him in the crotch.
Jango gave a surprised gasp as a surge of pain shot through his groin, causing him to let go of Kira and sink to his knees. “What…the...kriff...was that for?!” he asked. His voice cracked ever so slightly.
“That’s my way of telling you to behave,” Kira quipped, biting down on her lower lip to prevent herself from laughing.
He grimaced, and doubled over slightly. “And you couldn’t of thought of another way?!” he asked.
She grinned again. “Maybe, but this was the more prominent one,” she said, crossing her arms over her chest.
Kayla could not help but grin and she said, “No one tells me what the hell to do. Just because your old lady tells you what to do doesn’t mean anything.” She glared at Jango and said, “Besides your ass owes me from Kessel if it wasn’t for me saving Kira’s ass she wouldn’t be here with you even though it was your damn fault for that clanker explosion in the factory by throwing a bomb on a droid.”
Kayla couldn’t help but bite but a laugh when Kira hurt Jango.
Jango growled softly as he struggled to his feet. “Get the kark out of my sight, Kayla,” he said.
Kira shook her head and sighed as she began to help Jango up, kissing him lightly on the lips in the process. “Just calm down will you?” she asked, giving him a stern look.
Jango stared at her for a moment, before returning her kiss with one of his own. “Possibly,” he said, as their lips parted. “And please don’t ever do that again,” he added, grimacing slightly.
Kira chuckled softly as she spoke. “Fine, you have my word. I won’t knee you in the crotch again,” she said, before speaking again. “Unless you really manage to piss me off.” She grinned, kissing him firmly on the lips for a split second.
Jango smirked slightly. “Thank you,” he said, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her in towards him.
Kayla laughed and said, “Nope. Besides I keep Kira in line and rescue her when she needs it.”
Kayla laughed and shook her head. “Besides you may be seeing more of me around.”
Kayla shook her head. They have an odd relationship, she mused.
“We’ve managed to find a couple shops with T-14 hyperdrives,” Cameron said, as she calmly walked over towards Kira, Jango, and Kayla.

She stood perfectly still, her gaze currently focused on Kira.
“Good.” Kira grinned for a split second, then her smile faded. “Wait...you haven’t killed anyone yet, have you?” she asked, narrowing her eyes slightly.
Jango blinked as her scrutinized the young girl standing beside Kira. How could she kill anyone? She’s just a girl, he thought to himself. “Kira, she’s just a girl. How could she kill anyone?” he finally asked.
“That, is hard to explain...You really need to see for yourself, Jay. To be honest, she’s stronger, faster and more agile than you are.” Kira gave an honest shrug, as she finally pulled herself out of Jango’s arms.
Jango gave an amused snort. “I find that hard to believe,” he said, before turning towards Cameron. “How old are you?” he asked, crossing his arms over his chest.
Cameron smiled slightly. “I’m nineteen,” she said. “We need to go,” she added, glancing over at Kira and Kayla.
Kira chuckled softly. “I know, lead the way, Cam,” she said, before turning to look at Jango. “Care to come with us, Jay?” she asked, giving him an affectionate smile.
Jango shrugged. “Even though I need to get the repairs to Jaster’s Legacy done I am curious to see what this girl can do...” Jango admitted as he trailed off slightly. “So sure,” he said, walking alongside Kira, taking her hand in his.

Chapter 12
Kayla smirked and said, “Well this should be interesting.” She cackled and she walked ahead of Jango and Kira. “If you thought I was an insane lunatic you have another thing coming, bucket head.” She smirked cheekily and threw her long dark brown hair over her shoulders and raised her head high in the air as she walked.
Jango glared at Kayla. “Will you stop calling me that?” he asked, as the group continued to make their way through Mos Espa.
Cameron glanced to the side as something caught her attention. “Wait,” she said, coming to a stop.
A rough looking human, along with five others, including a Rodian, a Twi’lek, a Trandoshian, and two more humanoids. “Look what we have here, boys. Three pretty ladies for us to share,” the lead human said, giving a lustful smile.
Jango snarled as he stepped in front of Kira. “You keep you’re karking hands off them,” he said, glaring hatefully at the leader, causing said human leader to laugh coldly.
“What? Another play toy of yours, Fett?” he asked, glancing over Jango’s shoulder at Kira. “I’m surprised that you would actually try to get a woma---” His taunt was suddenly cut off, and he screamed in pain as the bones in his wrist began to break from the hand that was currently squeezing it.
Jango blinked as he glanced at Cameron, who currently had the leader in a wrist lock. “She’s got guts,” he muttered.
Cameron tilted her head half an inch to the right as she stared at the gang leader.
IDENTIFICATION_UNKNOWN HUMAN MALE THREAT LEVEL_8.5 REACTION_IMMEDIATE OBJECTIVE_TERMINATE
She took a quick step forwards, and grabbed the leaders other wrist and lifted him up into the air. She stared at him for two point three seconds before throwing him face first into a nearby wall. Not leaving any chance of her target regaining ground, Cameron advanced forwards, grabbing the front of his tunic and throwing him into an un-expecting Rodian.
The gang leader snarled. “Lucky hits, pretty girl. Let’s see if you can dodge a blaster bolt!” he said defiantly, pulling out his blaster and firing several shots at Cameron.
Cameron shrugged off the blaster fire that slammed into her chest and abdomen, receiving stunned gasps in reply. Reaching down, she grabbed the leader by the neck and lifted him up into the air again. She tilted her head and smiled. “That wasn’t luck,” she replied, snapping his neck in half. Glancing at the other gang members, she smiled again, daring them to attack her.
The second human snarled in anger. “Idiots! Kill her!” he yelled, throwing a punch towards Cameron, only to have his fist caught in midair. His eyes widened as he felt his feet lift off the ground.
Cameron paused for a moment, then backhanded the second human across the face, sending him to the ground violently. Spinning around, she snap kicked a Rodian in the stomach as he fired his blaster at her, the bolt skimming her left cheek, exposing the Coltan metal lying beneath it.
Few minutes later, Cameron slammed the last remaining human gang member into a wall. She smiled again. “Lesson learned?” she asked, her eyes suddenly flashing red as she grabbed him by the shoulders and smashed his head into the wall, effectively killing him. Dropping the now limp body, Cameron glanced around slowly. Her optical sensors flashing the words ‘DECEASED’ on everybody on the ground that she looked at. Turning her attention back to her companions, Cameron gave a small smile. “Everything’s been taken care of,” she said casually.
Kayla smirked at Jango and shook her head. “Hell no,” she said. Then she thought for a moment. “On second thought I’ll just come up with a new nickname for you since “Metal Girl” here has taken the liberty to kick ass.” Then she scowled after Cameron got finished. “We aren’t suppose to draw attention to ourselves you know,” she said. “Now let’s get a damn move on damn it before people start talking shit and I have to put a bullet in someone’s head.”
Jango stared, completely and utterly stunned. “What...the...KARKING HELL!?” he asked, glancing at all the bodies laying on the ground, then glancing back up at Cameron. “How did you---” He gave his head a hard shake.
Kira smirked as she glanced over at Jango. “Told you,” she said, gently squeezing his hand.
Jango exhaled softly, then finally spoke. “What are you?” he asked, staring at Cameron.
Cameron tilted her head and smiled. “A Terminator,” she replied, giving a casual shrug. “Cyborg, if you prefer,” she added.
Kayla laughed at Jango’s reaction. “She’s like a droid,” she said. “But she’s more kickass and she has better style than you.”
Jango threw a glare towards Kayla. “I’m gonna pretend I didn’t hear that last part,” he growled, gently tugging Kira in towards his side, his left arm gently wrapping around her waist in the process.
Kira chuckled softly. “Now, now, children behave,” she quipped, glancing between the two. “And Cameron’s right. We need to get going. Even more so now,” she added seriously.
Kayla laughed at Jango’s comment. “I just said that,” she said, glaring at Kira. She noticed people in the streets were giving them weird looks and she growled. “What the hell?” she said. “They act like they’ve never seen a blowout before.” She growled. “NOTHING TO SEE HERE PEOPLE! GET BACK TO YOUR NORMAL ROUTINE!” She shook her head and walked off.
Kira rolled her eyes as the group continued to make their way through Mos Espa. “Cameron, you know you can be a little more subtle when it comes to these things,” Kira mused, giving a small smile.
Cameron glanced back at Kira. “Yes. I could, couldn’t I?” She gave a small nod. “Thank you for explaining,” she added, as she continued to walk ahead of the group.
Naboo Cruiser, main hold Jesse sighed as she sat on the floor, her back gently leaning against the wall. “Wonder how much trouble Tin Miss is causing,” Jesse mused, a small smirk tugging at the corner of her lips.
Mos Epsa Kayla smirked cheekily. “So which way are we going?” she asked.
Naboo Cruiser main hold Obi-Wan chuckled and said, “I’d be more concerned about Kayla doing something...rash.” He smirked and he looked at Jesse.
Anakin was shaking as the Rodian stood over him. The Rodian stretched out his hand and said, “Hand it over boy.”
“We traded it! We had a deal Nordo!” Anakin shouted back at the rodian.
Nordo tried to grab Anakin but he went through the Rodian’s legs and dashed away. Nordo turned around and growled. “You’re not getting away from me runt.” Nordo pulled out a blaster a fired several times at Anakin but all shots were missed. The chase once again continued. Anakin needed to find a place to hide before he could go home. If Nordo found where he lived, things would go from bad to worse.
Luckily for Anakin knew this dirt town like he knew droids unlike Nordo who visits here for business for the hutts. Anakin as he was running of thinking of a plan. He then remember a trick he saw at a bar once. “Yes that should work.” Anakin said to himself.
Nordo after running for about ten minutes chasing after Anakin. He had only a glimpse of the boy while running after Anakin. Nordo saw Anakin run to a dark alley. Nordo smiled, he had Anakin trapped. When Nordo entered the dark alley, no one was there. At first Nordo was confused, walking slowly with his blaster out ready to fire. Nordo then saw an open door on one of the walls. “Clever boy he is. Though pretty stupid when dealing with smugglers.”
Nordo entered in which happen to be a drinking bar. It was crowded. For a moment Nordo thought he lost Anakin. Meanwhile Anakin saw the Rodian. He slowly crept up behind Nordo. Anakin could have ran for the door while Nordo was looking for him but Anakin had a better idea. Anakin pickpocket a wallet from a human. “Hey Nordo! Back here!” Anakin cried.
Nordo turned around and stared down at Anakin, grinning at the boy. Anakin grinned back as he tossed the wallet at Nordo. Nordo caught it thinking it was the module. To his surprise it was a wallet. The human that had he wallet stolen from Anakin reach his hand to his back pocket stunned to find his wallet gone. The human turned angerily around.
“He took it,” Anakin said, pointing to Nordo.
“Blasted Rodians,” the human said as he and his friend got up from their table. Nordo shaking tried to convince them that he wasn’t the one. Anakin dashed off and the gang attacked Nordo. Suddenly the whole bar went crazy. Anakin dodged a few people being tossed till he reached the door. He looked back to see Nordo getting beat up. Anikin smiled and left, heading for home.
Kira thought for a moment, then shrugged. “I’m just following Tin Miss up there,” she said, giving a short laugh.
Cameron’s gaze shifted from side to side, as the group continued to make their way through the busy streets of Mos Espa.”There,” she said, focusing her attention on Qui-Gon, who was standing outside a small Junk shop waiting for them.
Kayla glared and said, “Why do I have a bad feeling about this?” She shook her head.
Kira gave an amused snort.” You always have a bad feeling about something.” She retorted, earning an amused look from Jango.

Chapter 13
Naboo cruiser, Storage area Jesse blinked as she glanced around the storage area. “Wait one damn minute…” She thought for a moment, then opened the locker that Cameron had put Carter’s chip and body in.
“Oh god...Oh god no,” she whispered quietly, staring at the completely empty locker in horror. She whipped around, and sprinted out of the storage room.
“No. no. no. no. no,” she muttered, making her way into the main hold. She glanced around in panic, before finally spotting Obi-Wan.” It’s gone,” she said, her face paling.
Kayla glared at Kira and said, “No, I don’t not all the time at least and the feeling ain’t about him.” She jabbed her thumb Jango’s way. “It’s about something else...” Kayla shivered slightly. “Or maybe it’s about ‘Miss Tin Can’ over there.” She glared at Cameron.
Naboo cruiser, Storage area Obi-Wan followed Jesse and noticed she was beginning to panic. “What’s the matter?” Obi-Wan asked. “What happened? Did someone remove something or worse?”
Naboo Cruiser, Main hold Jesse shook her head frantically. “It’s worse. Way worse...” She thought for a moment, then spoke again. “I watched her put it in that locker. I watched her lock it...” She trailed off for a split second. “And now it’s gone. They’re both gone...” She glanced over at Obi-Wan. “Carter’s body and his chip. They’re gone. Don’t know where, don’t know when.” She shook her head. “They’re gone. Someone took them. And for once, I know it wasn’t that little metal bitch. She’d have no reason to. Someone else took it. The metal and its chip.” A sudden thought came to mind. “And if the metal’s reactivated it’s going to come after me again,” she clarified, leaning against the wall. “Cameron’s not going to be happy when she finds out.”
Mos Espa streets Jango glared at Kayla again. “Don’t you ever shut up?” he asked sarcastically, earning an eye roll from Kira.
“Both of you! God, just shut up,” Kira said, gritting her teeth. “We need to focus on the task on hand. I mean really, a ship without a hyperdrive isn’t going to get us anywhere,” she added.
Naboo Cruiser, Main Hold Obi-Wan was starting to panic too and then he calmed himself with the Force. He grabbed Jesse and said, “Get a grip of yourself, woman.” He thought for a moment. “Who would want to take the metal and don’t worry I won’t let them hurt you.”
Mos Espa Junk streets Kayla glared at Jango and said, “Nope.” She glared at Kira and rolled her eyes. “There’s a junk dealer shop there,” she said.
Jar Jar was in a constant state of panic.
Artoo whistles along, with perfect confidence.
“Dissen berry berry bad,” Jar Jar said as he stepped in ooze. “Ooooh...icky...icky...goo.”
The group came to a little junk dealer plaza surrounded by several junk spaceship dealers.
Chris walked back into Sabe’s quarters after leaving for several minutes. “Unfortunately, they’ve already left...I apologize for not getting to them quicker,” he said, feeling slightly guilty for not telling them to take Padme along in time. “But as long as we get that hyperdrive, I think we’ll be okay.
Meanwhile, Panaka approached Obi-Wan and Jesse after hearing the panic. “What’s going on in here?”
Jesse whirled around to face Panaka. “Some security you have on board, Captain,” she sneered, her panic turning to anger. “The metal. It’s gone and so is its chip,” she stated. “Cameron had locked it away in that locker and now it’s gone.” She breathed in deeply. “Now there’s a very good chance that it’s going to be reactivated.” She thought for a moment, still glaring daggers at Panaka. “And it’s going to come back here and kill us all,” she added, crossing her arms over her chest.
Mos Espa Kira shook her head. “Alright. Let’s head in then,” Kira mused, giving Jango’s hand a light squeeze.
Jango smirked slightly as he squeezed Kira’s hand in reply. “Any back up plan for when the Junk Dealer doesn’t want to negotiate prices?” he asked.
Kira thought for a moment, then chuckled. “Yeah,” she said, before jerking her thumb towards Cameron. “She’s the back-up plan,” she added, grinning slightly.
Anakin was walking cheerfully on the dirt road holding the module in his hands. He was walking going. After five minutes he got there secretly hiding the module from Watto his slave owner or worse his mother. He quickly stashed the module in his room and right away went back to work that Watto told to do earlier.
Panaka narrowed his eyes at Jesse in anger. “I presumed it was your duty to burn the body, or your friend’s. This entire Terminator business has nothing to do with us or our job...we are up against the Trade Federation, not your enemies. Remember that,” he told her.
“However, this does put everyone at risk...and I’m not going to let anyone, including you, die. Or the Queen. I’ll send someone to tell Cameron,” he finished, taking out his comlink. “Commander Chris.”
Inside Sabe’s quarters, Chris’s comlink beeped. He activated it immediately. “Yes, Captain?”
“That Terminator, the first one, is on the loose again...somehow it repaired itself and escaped the ship. I need you to go inform Cameron and the others in Mos Espa immediately.”
Chris looked down at Sabe, not wanting to leave her right now...but he had orders that he had to follow, and he knew all too well that this Terminator posed a threat to not only Jesse, but both Sabe and Padme. Not to mention all of his other friends and allies on board.
“Uh, yes, sir,” he said, cutting off communications immediately afterwards.
“Listen, Sabe, that Terminator...not Cameron, the first one, is apparently back and on the loose...I have to go tell Cameron, for all our sakes, but I’ll be back. Stay...stay safe.”
Without even thinking, and with so many things already on his mind, Chris instinctively leaned down and kissed Sabe on the cheek. Immediately afterwards, as he rose up, his eyes widened in shock. Oh crap...what did I just do?! Never mind, I need to go.
“Uh, bye, my Queen,” he said with a bow, immediately rushing out of the room.
He had to get to Mos Espa.
Sabe listened as Chris spoke and nodded. “I will, but you be safe too,” she said as she kissed him on the cheek quickly and smiled when he kissed her cheek. She turned to look at Padme. “May we talk for a moment?” she asked.
Obi-Wan watched as Jesse threw a fit. She amazed him sometimes, but he would never ever admit that. “Where is this locker you speak of?” he asked.
Mos Espa Kayla shook her head and said, “I don’t think they would take her and this planet doesn’t take Republic credits so either way you are screwed.” She glanced at Qui-Gon.
Jesse snarled again as she took a step towards Panaka. “You have no idea. You have no idea!” she yelled. “If I were you, I’d sure as hell be more worried about the metal running loose out there, than those stupid Federation people!” She shook her head. “None of you know. None of you know what the metal is really capable of. Even a single Trip eight. They were designed, built, and programmed to hunt down and kill humans.” She clenched her hands into fists. The temptation to hit Panaka was very real. “It’s in the storage area. Locker B12,” Jesse replied to Obi-Wan, not breaking eye contact with Panaka. “You’re an idiot, Panaka, for believing that these stupid Fed’s are more of a threat than the metal is.” She thought for a moment, then gave a cold laugh. “Well, when the metal comes back. And it will come back, I’ll be standing there watching, as it holds you against a wall, about to snap your neck and end your pathetic life,” she spat, before storming out of the main hold, ensuring to clip Panaka’s shoulder with her own as hard as possible.

Chapter 14
Mos Espa Kira rolled her eyes in dismay or amusement. “That’s not what I meant, Kayla. I meant in the negotiating terms,” she clarified, giving her an amused look as the group entered the small shop.
A large, blue Toydarian fluttered into the main area of the shop. “Hi chubba da nago?”(“What do you want?”)
Qui-Gon glanced at the Toydarian. “I need parts for a J-type 327 Nubian,” he clarified.
Watto laughed as he switched over to basic. “Ah yes! Nubian! We have lots of that!” He thought for a moment, then glanced over his shoulder. “Peedunkel! Naba dee unko!” (“Boy! Get in here! Now!”)
“My droid has a read out of what I need,” Qui-Gon replied.
Panaka scowled, walking after Jesse. “I understand your concern, but the fact is they aren’t our enemy. They may be soon, but currently, the Queen’s enemy is the Federation, and we are sworn to protect her from them. They weren’t our enemy, so it was not up to us to burn the body,” he told her. “However, fighting will get us nowhere. We just need to be prepared for when he does come.”
Obi-Wan listened as Jesse ranted. “No use trying to convince the Naboo,” he said. “They don’t believe in fighting.” Which was true to a point. “Let’s head down there, shall we?” he asked innocently to try and keep the peace.
Mos Espa Kayla rolled her eyes and quipped, “My point exactly Mrs. Jay.” She grinned wickedly and dodged out of the way before Kira could smack her. Kayla watched as Qui-Gon spoke and showed Watto the readout.
Panaka sighed. “We’ll handle that when the time comes...and we do have the Jedi, remember that,” he told her, simply turning to leave. He knew she didn’t want to see anymore of him.
Mos Espa Chris walked through the streets of Mos Espa, just entering the city. He knew that they had to be at some kind of shop, trying to find a hyperdrive so they could get off the planet and to Coruscant. He continued to look around, until after a couple more minutes, he came upon a junk shop.
Guess I’ll try this place first, he thought.
Chris went inside, direly hoping to find the Jedi and Cameron in there.
“Fine. Whatever,” Jesse muttered, as she followed Obi-Wan down the hall and into the storage area.
Mos Espa Kira gave Kayla a look of pure amusement. “Funny, Kayla,” Kira replied, glaring at the younger woman, not noticing the highly amused look on Jango’s face.
Cameron turned around just as Chris entered the junk shop. “What is it?” she asked, clasping her hands behind her back.
Chris nearly wanted to cringe when Cameron spoke to him. He could only imagine the terror that a Terminator would wreak if they got angry...and after what he was about to tell her, he’d be very surprised if she wasn’t mad.
“Uhh, well...” he began slowly. “I’ve got some bad news.”
Chris began to pace, his mind on a wide variety of things. That Terminator was on the loose again, the Feds were after them, he had randomly kissed Sabe. No, I have much bigger things to focus on than my romantic life, if I can even call it that, right now.
“Uhh...apparently, your friend’s body wasn’t burned. He repaired himself, and escaped,” Chris finished.
Naboo cruiser onboard Obi-Wan and Jesse went down to Locker B12. “It wouldn’t hurt to look would it or would you rather be bored on the ship?” he reasoned.
Mos Espa Kayla smirked and said, “Honestly.” She shook her head. “You know if I wasn’t around your life would still be a living hell without me.” She smirked cheekily. Then she rolled her eyes. “Oh great now Cameron is going to go into rant mode,” she growled.
Cameron stared at him, standing perfectly still. “Panaka said we would burn the endoskeleton once we landed.” She paused, then spoke again. “I should have killed him.” She tilted her head slightly. “I’m going to kill him.”
Kira cringed at what both Chris and Cameron had said. “Great. Now that thing is back again,” she muttered.
Storage area, Naboo Cruiser Jesse looked around. “The man’s an idiot,” Jesse muttered. “Why didn’t he listen to Cameron when she said that we needed to burn the endoskeleton right away!” she snarled, then slammed her fist into a wall.
“I think he may have assumed you would do it...but I don’t know, I was with the Queen most of the time,” Chris said, then his eyes widened at Cameron’s last statements. “Should have killed Panaka? You’re going to kill Panaka?”
Maybe she’s just joking, like how we all say we’re going to kill someone in that figure of speech w-wait, no, this woman makes about as many jokes as a tree.
Kayla rolled her eyes in annoyance. “Well Jay,” she said. “If you think Kira and me are insane when it comes to stupid escapes from near death you ain’t seen nothing yet.” She was trying to be friendly toward Jango so he would not be so hostile. She looked at Chris and said, “I’m sure she didn’t mean that. She was probably talking about that thing.”
Obi-Wan looked at Jesse helplessly. “Well maybe she can kill him this time,” he said. He put his hand on Jesse’s shoulder and said sincerely, “I’m sorry about all this you are going through.”
“Yes. I’m going to kill him,” Cameron replied, pulling out her 9MM handgun, while reloading it in the process.
Kira cringed again.” I really don’t think that’s the wisest course of action, Cameron,” she said, trying to talk the cyborg out of it. “Queen Amidala won’t be very happy about that.”
Cameron did not reply as she walked past Chris, and out of the junk shop. Her HUD updating a particular file.
FILE UPLOADED………………….. IDENTIFICATION_PANAKA, CAPTAIN THREAT LEVEL_8.5 REACTION_IMMEDIATE MISSION OBJECTIVE_TERMINATE
She continued to walk down the streets, ignoring the strange looks she was getting from the locals.
Jango blinked as he watched Cameron leave. “I don’t think she was kidding.”
If Chris’s jaw wasn’t physically connected to the rest of his head, it would have gone through the floor by now. He looked at the others, then ran towards the doorway and peered out. “Cameron! Calm down...killing Captain Panaka will just make things worse!” he yelled from the entrance to the shop.
Kayla agreed with Jango. “Aye,” she said. She looked at Qui-Gon and said, “Hey I think we have bigger banthas to catch and I’m not talking about Tusken raiders.” She jerked her thumb at Cameron. “She’s right, Cameron, the Queen will not be pleased.”
Kayla sent a coded message to Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan received Kayla’s message. “Oh crap,” he said. “Jesse, I think our problem have gotten worse. Cameron is on her way to kill Panaka I’m afraid.”
Jesse snorted. “That’s what he get’s for not listening to her in the first place. We should have burned the body, and destroyed the chip,” she said, glancing at Obi-Wan.
Mos Espa Kira sighed as Cameron left. “Damn. This is going to be interesting, that’s for sure,” she said, gently leaning against Jango.
He nodded in agreement. “Any ideas on how to stop her?” he asked, gently resting his hands on her waist.
Streets Cameron continued to walk down the crowded streets of Mos Espa. Her eyes focused on the outskirts. Not noticing the larger alien in front of her, she slammed into his back.
The Twi’lek snarled, as he turned to face Cameron. “Stupid human, watch where you’re going!” he said, roughly shoving her backwards.
Cameron tilted her head slightly, before taking a step forwards and backhanding the Twi’lek across the face. Quickly, she grabbed him by the front of his shirt and tossed him into a nearby parts stand. Though, her priorities stood, Cameron adjusted her course, and headed back towards the Naboo Cruiser.
The Twi’lek snarled as he got to his feet. “Hey! Try this on for size!” he yelled, throwing a frag grenade towards Cameron.
She turned around, then glanced down just in time to see the grenade roll in between her feet. She knelt down to pick it up.....
BOOM!
Several flashes go off, and bits and pieces of sand and debris are scattered everywhere, the shock sending Cameron flying backwards, her body slamming against a nearby wall with a ‘thud.’ She slumped to the ground, seemingly dead.
A triumphant smirk tugged at the corner of the Twi’leks lips as he walked over to Cameron’s body. “Stupid human,” he spat, kicking her in the stomach. His eyes widened suddenly as he felt a hand grab his ankle. “What the---” He screamed in pain as he was yanked to the ground. All that could be heard was two single gun shots going off. Then silence.
She slowly got to her feet, gashes and scratches adorn her arms, legs, stomach, and face, exposing the Coltan metal that lay beneath it. She tilted her head to the side by half an inch, her hand twitched as her CPU began scanning her internal and external systems.

Cameron’s head jerk’s to the left slightly, and she began walking back to the Naboo Cruiser. Her right leg was damaged, causing her to limp. She continues walking, until she finally reaches the loading ramp of the Naboo Cruiser. She headed inside.
“I...I don’t know. I’d say go after her, which we probably still should, but I’ve seen this woman in action. In fact, I’m sure all of us have now...we don’t have the right equipment to stop her. Maybe the Jedi do, but I’m just an average security officer,” Chris replied, in heavy debate on whether or not to go after Cameron. He finally sighed. “To hell with it, we have to go back...some of us, anyway.”
Naboo Cruiser Panaka heard someone come onto the ship, and saw it was Cameron. Wonderful, he thought, not doubting that she had some words for him.
Obi-Wan nodded. He had to agree. “Oh hell,” he said.
Mos Espa Kayla glanced at Jango and said reasonably, “Unless you want to get castrated or kicked in the crotch again I don’t think we can stop her. Unless you got a weapon that can blast her into oblivion.” She smirked at the thought as an evil smirk tugged the corners of her lips as if she had a plan even if it was half ass done.
Cameron stared at Panaka for two point three seconds before grabbing him by the front of his uniform. She tossed him into a wall, front first. Her left hand twitched again as she glanced around. Her mission objective set. She stood in the middle of the main hold, pulling out her fully loaded 9MM again.
Mos Espa Qui-Gon sighed. “Fine, Kira, you and your friend go with Chris back to the ship. I have a feeling they’ll need all the help they can get,” he said.
Kira gave a curt nod, quickly glancing at Jango, then turning her attention back to Chris. “Alright, let’s go, and we better hurry,” she said, heading out of the junk shop, with Jango following behind her.
Panaka grunted, slowly standing up albeit in pain, and pulling out his blaster rifle. He pointed it at Cameron. “Calm the hell down....if you wanted the body burned so bad, you should have burnt it. But don’t come back onto this ship and start assaulting people.”
Mos Espa Chris darted out of the junk shop with Kira and Jango. “Okay, let’s get back to the cruiser as soon as possible,” he said, running as fast as he could through the small town, with Jango and Kira at his side. He looked to Jango. “By the way, who are you?”
Kayla gritted her teeth and said, “If you need back up let me know.”
Cameron stared at him. “Where’s Jesse Solo?” she asked, keeping her 9MM pointed at the ground...for now.
Kira thought for a moment, the finally spoke. “His name’s Jay,” she replied, deciding not to reveal Jango’s real name.
Jango smirked and gave Kira a look that clearly said thank you. “So...how are we going to stop her?” he asked, as they made their way back to the cruiser.
Jesse blinked as she came into the main hold. “You look like hell, Tin Miss. What happened?” she asked.
Cameron turned and stared at Jesse. Her optical sensors scanned Jesse’s face.

Cameron raised her gun slightly and fired two shots, the first shot missing, while the second shot embedded itself into Jesse’s left thigh.
Jesse inhaled sharply as she felt the 9MM slug rip through the flesh on her thigh. “Oh hell no,” she whispered, realization dawning on her. She looked over at Panaka with a panicked look on her face. “Her chip’s been compromised! She’s reverted back to her original programming!!”
“I think we’re going to have to literally throw everything we’ve got at her, if she decides not to list----” Chris began, but then heard a gunshot as they approached the ship. “Shit!”
Chris darted up the ramp as fast as he could, taking out his blaster pistol if he needed to use it, but when he entered the room, he blinked when he saw Jesse shot. Did Cameron just shoot....Jesse?
“Her original programming?! What was that?!” Panaka yelled, looking at Jesse’s wound. “Damn it, she needs some help!”
Obi-Wan tried to block the shot from hitting Jesse and failed. “Damn it,” he cursed. He knelt down before Jesse and put his hand on her thigh to heal her. “Please don’t be pissed at me,” he said. “I’m trying to help you.” He looked at Jesse.
Moss Espa Kayla thought for a moment. “So what useless junk does he have?” she asked.
Jesse gritted her teeth as she smacked Obi-Wan’s hand away. “It’s not bad, my leg can wait. We need to take her down.” She hissed, getting to her feet.
“Shit. This has gone from bad to worse,” Kira muttered, throwing a worried look towards Jango.
Cameron shrugged off several blaster bolts that were fired at her. She turned her attention to a nearby security guard and grabbed him by the neck. One point two seconds passed before she took a step forwards and smashed his head into the wall. She stared at the body for a moment, the words ‘DECEASED’ flashed across her HUD. Turning her attention back towards Jesse, she walked over to her slowly, still limping.
Jesse snarled as she suddenly lunged, in an attempt to tackle Cameron down to the ground. She was immediately tossed aside by a well placed backhand to the face by Cameron. “You want to play? Let’s play,” she muttered, lashing out, and scissor kicking Cameron to the ground. “Alright...now for the hard part.” She quickly scrambled to her knees, ignoring the pain in her thigh. Wasting no time, Jesse straddled Cameron, and with all her strength, she attempted to flip her onto her stomach, only to be thrown off again.
Cameron lifted herself off the ground and looked at Jesse for half a second, then grabbed her by the neck.
Jesse grimaced as she felt her windpipe being closed off.
“Someone…get…something…electrical…shock…her…goddamn it!” she choked out. Her hands scrambling over Cameron’s in a useless attempt to loosen the Terminators grip.
“I need to find the Queen, and keep her safe incase this escalates!” Chris shouted, running off as Jesse tackled Cameron.
Panaka looked to the wall, and fired at one of the weak boards...it fell off, and a massive amount of wires were underneath. He grabbed them, knowing they were still active, and rushed over to Cameron, throwing them all right on top of her.
Chris darted into Sabe’s quarters, staring at both her and Padme. “Queen Amidala, we have a situation on our hands! That Terminator’s gone berserk!”
