A few weeks had gone by after he landed here, after his long trip from Lehon.
Gustoph was training in a dark ally way in the slums below the Jedi temple. Learning to use his powers, he was working on controlling nature itself starting with fire and wind - but in order to do this, he would need to find a master. For now he would train solo. As he practiced using a zippo, he managed to make the fire eat nothing but air and still grow. Launching it at a dumpster he set the whole thing on fire... Gustoph chuckled to himself. This was his way...leaving random destruction behind him...
He lacked control though. And lack of control meant he was just as likely to burn his enemy as he was himself or someone he cared about. He decided to leave, in case the smoke alerted local authorities. he lifted up his hood and darted into the shadows. He couldn't help but feel that he was already being watched though. He felt somewhat vulnerable at the moment, and so he used the force to increase his jumping capability to climb the outside of the temple base, and the outside of the temple itself. He could be seen, stuck on the outside of one of the windows. It was a pretty humorous situation. He didn't want to fall, but he couldn't climb any higher.

There are many reasons for weary travelers to avoid Coruscant these days. The deterioration of the planet's infrastructure, the rampant crime and lawlessness, the despicable sickening Force presence that draws out the negative emotions of all the sentients on the surface... but most of all in the web that is the Empire, Coruscant is the spider's domain. The beating heart of darkness at the center being the Jedi Temple. Certainly not the kind of place for recreational rock climbing.
In his meditation, as he so often had since he'd learned the secrets of Sith Magic, Cain had conjured darkness to scorch the skies surrounding the Jedi Temple. Inside Cain was able to perceive all that was happening around his Temple though the Force, even the arrival of the hapless Lt. Wingston. His mind was mostly unprotected, it was likely he didn't have a great deal of skill with telepathy. He wouldn't stand a chance.
As Wingston clung to the wall the air around him seemed to heat up, boiling to near unbearable levels. Slowly the walls of the temple began to melt away. This was one of Cain's mind tricks, a technique that saturates all five senses known as Tsukikage.
While occupying Wingston with the illusion Cain sat motionless, eyes closed in the room of a thousand fountains. He two guards at his sides with their eyes also shut tight. Slowly their heads rose and each opened their cold yellow eyes. Kairys and Statsu glanced at each other before taking up their weapons and heading toward the outside of the temple.

Gustoph was indeed no match for the trick, he found himself hallucinating worse than on any drug he had even heard of. Not even knowing where he was anymore, he made a wrong move. In his mind the temple was melting away, but it was actually quite solid. He punched at what he thought was the soft material, hoping to get inside from the heat, but instead his hand went through the window - shattering it and causing him to fall into the room. The lieutenant was going nuts now... he heard the sound of breaking glass, but did not see it. he rolled around it in frantically, trying to understand why he was still on the outside of the melting temple.
"Why the hell is it melting? This doesn't make any sense!" he growled. It then occured to him that he had to be under someone else's control - because his current predicament held no logic. He closed his eyes, and took a few deep breaths. When he opened them, we found himself still feeling the immense heat, but he knew where he was now. It was all cut up, laying in a pile of broken glass.
"Ah...shit... I'm in for it now...This building looks important..."
Being somewhat skilled in fire, he tried to manipulate the heat and turn it off. He was unable to.
"Show yourself coward! I know you're an evil Jedi..." he assumed.

OOC Sorry to bust into this topic but it says open so I hope it's OK if i barge in.
Mr. Dark had entered the Coruscant System on Gaia, and he had already decided to do things discretely. A large capital ship showing up on the Empire's door step wouldn't promote good faith or business. He had determined that slipping in and out would be the most efficient way to deal with a meeting with the Emperor. It seemed that rumors got around that he didn't like visitors, or at the very least he wasn't a very social man. Mr. Dark also assumed he would want to get straight down to business.
As he exited Hyperspace through Gaia's unique form of Hyperspace travel, he was already well within the Gravity well of the Planet. Too far into it to be caught by any patrols or other annoyances that might hinder his progress to the surface. Mr. Dark began an incantation that would cloak both him and the ship from being detected as the ship Gaia would descend towards Coruscant. Scar could feel the darkside here. It he hadn't felt darkness like this in a long time. In fact it struck his curiosity now. He knew the spell that was holding this area near the temple in a strong aura of saturated darkside presence. Until now Scar had believed that Sith Magic had all but died out completely save for himself. He wondered if this emperor was older then he expected, in fact he wondered if this being was as old as him, and if so... how had he managed to survive this long? Surely, no one had been stupid enough to try and raise the dead like he had.
'This man intrigues me before I have even met him...' thought Scar as the Gaia made its way down to the Jedi temple. From there he stepped out of Gaia forcing a hole to develop in Gaia's side to allow him through. As he stepped forth from the Gaia he also stepped forth from the spell of concealment. He walked towards the Jedi temple in his usual guise of a black man, with cornrows of black hair. A scar running from his lower jaw to the back of his ear. Almost exactly like he had looked before what he had become. He kept his mind shielded and feeling for probes. He knew all to well the power of Sith Sorcerer. They could easily entrap you in illusions, wipe your memory, and even reprogram you with a new one. He had done so on many occasions, and was thus cautious. Taking precautions as if he was dealing back in the old days. If anyone who had known scar had seen this behavior they would have known it to be unusual for him to take any precautions at all. Scar continued through the Temple softly probing for a sense of direction.

OOC: Same deal as Zil, hope it brings about no problems.
Slowly the public transport shuttle came to a rest about a mile or two away from the centerpiece of darkness that loomed over the planet, Of course it was the emperor that was the source of this all consuming evil, however not everyone knew he was the cause. The plant's inhabitants were reacting off their negative emotions as a result, Snapping on loved ones for the smallest of things. This effect was magnified on the figure moving consistently closer to the center of it.
Nikana was on the brink of madness, not quite insane, but certainly not stable by anyone's standards. This darkness overcame him, became him, Filled him rejuvenating every muscle, every fiber of his being, This kind of evil was something he made a point to avoid for just this reason, however he could not have resisted the urge to speak with the Emperor, at least get a chance at it. He opened himself to the darkness, welcomed it like an old friend, He glanced back once taking note of the shadows still stalking him through the streets, they'd been with him since he left Dantooine.
He stopped momentarily stretching the tension away, something about this darkness was refreshingly lively for the doctor and brought a new skip to his step one could say. He did not carry his Scythe with him now having thought it best to come unarmed to present no threat, He only wanted to speak with Cain, learn how his mind worked, the emperor was something else.

As the bloodied Gustoph attempted to recover his bearings amidst shards of broken glass in the Jedi Temple's grand entry hall, he was promptly joined by two imposing figures in deep black armor and robes. On the left, a woman and on the right, a man. Both had the same cold yellow eyes that stared blankly in Gustoph's direction. The illusions slowly subsided allowing Wingston to see his new guests, though there would be no way for him to know if they too were illusions.
Statsu, the male, held a large rifle in his arms and was adorned with all sorts of grenades. Kairys on the other hand had a pair of blades sheathed at her back as well as lightsaber hilts hung from her belt.
"Evil Jedi? Such a curious way to turn a phrase. Who are you to call me evil?" Statsu said, slapping a power pack into his rifle.
"Evil is a point of view. Evil is that which we detest or causes us pain. My point of view is to detest the man who just broke into my home," Kairys added, taking two of the saber hilts from her belt.
"But as for you... have I caused you pain? Have you some reason to detest me?" Statsu asked, training his rifle now on the uninvited guest, "I don't think so. But we can always fix that..."

Gustoph didn't like the idea of guns being pointed at him. "You'd better be prepared to fire that weapon..."He growled. "What is this place? Who are you? " He asked. Gustoph held a Zippo, an elegant piece, in his left hand, and the right hand was at his side brushing glass off himself. He stood up finally, holding his prized lighter in front of him. With one breath he summoned a fairly strong but rather small spherical tornado around himself, and the fire of the lighter merged with it. He formed a rather literal firewall around himself. He raised both of his hands as a show that he didn't really want to fight but he was willing to defend himself.
"Answer me those questions and I will come peacefully... it seems my hallucinations have stopped..." He told them.

Carefully paced steps, Nikana was sure to pace his steps with a certain, probably unneeded, tread along his way to the temple from the public transportation terminal located within the district. Within fifteen minutes the structure that was meant to stand as a shining beacon of hope, peace, and a better future. Now remained as an abomination to those beliefs, its thick bleak air served to awaken all the wrong things, That would be extension cause riots and lawlessness through the planet which was the opposite of what it used to be.
He approached the temple until reaching the steps up. stopping there he gazed up able to now detect the other much smaller presence within the structure, the feeling of ominous dread masked it previously. However this individual was not his target, not that the emperor could be considered a target in the traditional sense. Nikana, if it were possible, moved up the steps until he reached the top. While moving, with those same careful steps, into the temple Nikana quickly took note of the conflict going on near one of the far walls.
"So, do i take a number and wait in line to speak with the emperor, or is there a way to cut ahead?" He asked in something of an overzealous shout as over half the temple was between him and the other trio, but it carried over effortlessly thanks to the large relatively empty space as a echo striking nearly every surface throughout the hollow building until it died down.
He held both hands to his side as a show that he, did not come for combat, if anything he wanted to assist just to earn the valuable prize of knowledge from the experience.

Scar slowly worked his way through the temple. His presence was probably not unknown but at the moment deemed unimportant. He couldn't complain, he didn't like to draw attention to himself. He worked himself slowly into the temple. His cloak draping behind him as he continued to walk. As he rounded a corner into a room with still water, of a long and narrow hallway he spotted a lone figure off in the distance. He brought his Sith gauntlets together, the red crystals embedded into either one. He walked towards the figure and stopped a few feet away. Mr. Dark thought it'd be best to wait for them man before him to address him first.

Gustoph's fiery Force Whirlwind inspired little reaction from Cain's right and left hands. They merely glanced at each other before Kairys ignited her two red lightsabers with a quick spin of the blades before snapping the two together into one double bladed weapon, "You are in no position to make to make demands," She said in a low threatening tone as she extended a single palm toward Gustoph, "Goodbye."
The Force then exploded in front of Kairys, a push with enough force to blow out the entire western wall of the Jedi Temple's grand entrance hall and presumably Gustoph with it. Kairys gave her saber's a spin and crouched into a Juyo stance. It would be safe to bet that alone wasn't going to stop the intruder.
Statsu raised his blaster to a new threat as Nikana had just entered the room, "No more line, it's your turn now," He shouted back at the man.
In the room of a thousand fountains the temple shook with the force of the massive push Cain had levied on Gustoph, the still waters rippled and shimmered while Cain remained perfectly still as the stranger stepped up before him. Cain said nothing and made no move against the third man now to break into his temple.

Nikana found no need to wait on a reply as one of the two warriors instantly recognized his presence in the temple, not the biggest shock as surely this place was kept under a close watch by skilled combatants at all hours. He extracted a ciggeratted from his lab coat placing it into his mouth as he began to light it commenting on the vague threat.
"well, i did not come here in search of a fight, but if that's your desire then take your shot." He welcomed spreading both arms as if to embrace the attack, Nikana was rather confident in his ability to reflect, or even dodge, the blaster bolt if he really needed too. He only continued the calm doctor act in an attempt to prove his intent was simply and purely to speak with, and maybe even aid, Cain as the man was something of a superstar if he did not realize it.
The sudden rush of danger, and the still presence, always presence, scent of darkness, ran a shiver down his spine the sensation pushing his generally rational mind to contemplate unwise actions to counter the aggressor.

"It's not a demand...It's...it's a trade! A fair one! Wait!" He growled, before being smashed around like a pinball. He now found himself trying to communicate with everyone around while being moved against his will.
"I'm just looking for a sith master!!" he growled. "I didn't know what this building was...use the force, search my feelings...I'm telling you the damn truth... I'm just an apprentice, even in the fire and wind forms... I came here to learn!"

Scar stood standing still. Gaia brushed against his mind sending him images of what was going on elsewhere in the temple. Not only had he seen it through the ships eyes but he had also felt the stirrings of the force from its original source. Someone reached out and brushed along his conscious, something that wasn't Gaia. Scar caught that someone was looking for a Sith Master. He smirked slightly to himself. 'It seems I'm not the only one here.'
He turned his attentions to the water that sat still towards the sides of them. He walked over to one of the ponds then, crouched down on his knees and ran his hands through the water. Nothing.... as usual, but the visual of his hands running through the murky water brought brief flashes of feeling, so distant yet so clear. He brought his attention back to the matter at hand. He was in the room with possibly the Emperor who seemed to have his mind somewhere else. Probably on the other intruders. He slowly went through what he was doing here. He wanted a mutual partnership with the Empire, he had already met Lord Malum and he had been reasonable enough. He had promised that if Malum required his services he'd have but to ask but in return he'd have an ally with the Empire. Now it was time to take it a step further, if he could form a link to the core of the Empire than his company would be more secure than ever.
The Empire itself had already provided a massive feeding ground for Criminal organizations, smuggling, and even monopolies. The DarkHand had capitalized on the situation of the core systems. They were making a killing and snuffing out competitors. Karite's business ventures had been bought almost instantly when share holders had tried to liquidize his holdings after rumors of his death. Rumors that pointed to that the man in the very room he was with had been the source of his fiercest competitor. He'd have to thank the Emperor for that, though he wondered if the Emperor even cared that he had killed the man who had made more than every officer in the Republic combined, in the matter of a few years. He chuckled at the thought, wondering where the hell Karite had sprung up from, for Scar himself had once tried to get dirt on Karite to blackmail him. Almost nothing had come up. Well that was a done business, it would be better to focus on the present....

Cain remained silent. So long as Scar wasn't doing or asking anything he had no reason to pay him any heed. Cain's stillness was broken as his hands began to weave the signs and his lips mouth the incantations of a Sith Magic spell. When he had concluded nothing seemed to happen. The spell was not intended for Scar...
"Hmph... pathetic," Kairys growled, "You haven't earned such a rank as apprentice. Those who beg for mercy deserve none," Kairys remained in her stance as the chunks of concrete and twisted metal from the Temple wall began to float around her with the Force before shooting at Gustoph one by one. While the debris was being rained down upon him Kairys seemed to vanish from sight and from the Force.
Statsu also vanished from sight and from the Force. Nikana's mind was no simple thing to crack as Gustoph's had been it would take more time to probe and wear it down. As Cain carefully worked at finding holes in Nikana's mind, Statsu began to attack from its concealment. Being hidden from sight and the Force would make it's attacks more difficult to read. Statsu opened fire on Nikana, hoping to force him to pull his focus to protecting himself from the flurry of blaster bolts.

"Enough!" Gustoph growled. He managed to get an arm free, and scorched the items she threw at him into dust. He focused again, working on simply defending himself. His resistance was fairly good, and his healing abilities were excellent. As his clothing and skin endured cuts and bruises from her attack, he began to glow with a lighter energy, healing each one almost immediately. Instead of preparing a defense against the attack itself, he was essentially nullifying the damage by healing faster than it could be dealt. With his fiery force field up, he was able to avoid the full front of her attack and continue doing this.
"Okay. I apologize..." he said. "But because you're attacking me, I haven't really got a choice but to hit you back..." he sighed.
His voice was calm now, he had gained stability in a stance, and although moving was hard, he wasn't under her control anymore. her powers were now more like a sharp strong wind, atleast thats what it now felt like. He probably would have been torn apart without his healing. He owed much to his mother, who was a medic and was biologically superior to most people when it came to healing.
So far he hadn't really tried to hit her back. He didn't like to hit girls, even if this one was a bitch. He shook his head and growled to himself. -maybe she wants me to hit her...maybe this is a trial...- he thought. "Fine..." he said. His shield came to a stop in front of him, and blasted forward into a wild flamethrower even Gustoph wasn't fully in control of. It stopped just in front of her, hot air blowing past her. He dropped his guard, and the wind around him slowly slowed down.
"You're right...If I can't even hit someone who's trying to kill me, perhaps I don't deserve training. I'll let myself out..." He told her. the fire came back to him, forming a straight wall between them, as he headed back for the window. He took one last look back, and hopped out onto the ledge, trying to find a way out of here. he had a shameful look of failure on his face.
